钛是一种具有高强度但低密度的材料。它的密度比铝高60%,强度是其两倍。钛还具有很高的抗断裂性。
美国专利No.5320386公开了一种由钛制成的滑雪杆,其具有附加材料以增加其刚度。
本发明的目的是提供一种滑雪杆,其与现有的滑雪杆一样轻,但更耐断裂或弯曲。这是通过将杆的至少一部分制成钛格状结构或网格来实现的。
