The present embodiment is applied to a vehicle or the like in which any one of a low roof specification and a high roof specification can be selected, such as a passenger-cargo dual-purpose vehicle, and is particularly applied to the vehicle body structure 1 of the vehicle having the low roof specification.
As shown in fig. 1, a vehicle body structure 1 in a vehicle of a low roof gauge includes a rear inner panel 10, a rear pillar 20, and a rear roof rail 30. The rear pillar 20 and the rear roof rail 30 have a convex cross section at the lower side, and a roof panel, not shown, is attached to an upper surface portion that is an open side.
The rear inner panel 10 and the rear pillar 20 are provided on both sides in the vehicle width direction as vehicle body constituent members of the vehicle rear portion. The rear inner panel 10 and the rear pillar 20 are symmetrically shaped by being turned left and right with respect to a center line extending in the vehicle body longitudinal direction at the center in the vehicle width direction, and are disposed to face each other on both sides in the vehicle width direction. The rear roof rail 30 extends in the vehicle width direction at the rear portion of the roof panel 2 shown in fig. 4, and is connected to each of the rear pillars 20 forming the rear door opening 15 of the vehicle body rear portion shown in fig. 3 at both sides in the vehicle width direction. The rear inner panel 10 has a glass opening 12 for attaching a rear windshield glass in the center of a substantially rectangular panel body 11, and a cutout 13 in the rear upper corner of the panel body 11. Further, a mounting portion 16 for mounting a below-described seatbelt anchor 70 is formed at a rear upper edge portion 14 of the glass opening portion 12 in the rear inner panel 10.
Fig. 2 shows a vehicle body structure 100 in a vehicle having a high roof standard, in contrast to the vehicle body structure 1 in a vehicle having a low roof standard according to the present embodiment. In the case of the high roof gauge, the glass opening 112 is provided, but the notch 13 is not provided in the rear inner panel 110, as compared with the case of the low roof gauge. The rear pillar 120 is fixed to a rear upper end portion 110a of the rear inner panel 110, and extends in the up-down direction to support the rear roof rail 130 from below. The rear pillar 120 has a shape curved inward in the vehicle width direction from the upper end portion 110a of the rear inner panel 110, and the vehicle width direction outer end portion 121 is connected to the upper end portion 111a of the rear inner panel 110 by spot welding or the like, and the vehicle width direction inner end portion 122 is connected to the end portion 131 of the rear roof rail 130.
As shown in fig. 1, the cutout portion 13 of the rear inner panel 10 is formed behind the glass opening 12 in the rear inner panel 10, and has a shape cut out in a range not reaching the opening 12. The rear pillar 20 is fixed to a vehicle-width-inside side surface portion 13a in the cutout portion 13 of the rear inner panel 10, and extends in the up-down direction so as to support the rear roof rail 30 from below.
By providing the notch portion 13 of the rear inner panel 10 behind the glass opening portion 12 as in the vehicle body structure 1 of the present embodiment, a portion where two members overlap when the rear pillar 20 of a low roof gauge is attached to the rear inner panel 110 in the vehicle body structure 100 of a high roof gauge can be eliminated, so that the rear inner panel 10 can be made lighter in weight, and the structure and shape of the rear inner panel 10 and the rear pillar 20 can be simplified, and the cost can be reduced. Further, by providing the rear pillar 20 extending in the vertical direction on the side surface portion 13a on the vehicle width inner side of the cutout portion 13, it is possible to suppress a decrease in strength of the rear inner panel 10.
The rear pillar 20 includes an upper pillar 21 and a lower pillar 22 divided in the vertical direction. The lower pillar 22 is joined to the vehicle width inner side surface portion 13a of the cutout portion 13 of the rear inner panel 10 by spot welding or the like. The vehicle-width-outer-side end 21a of the upper pillar 21 is connected to the lower pillar 22 by spot welding or the like, and the vehicle-width-inner-side end 21b of the upper pillar 21 is connected to the end 31 of the rear roof rail 30.
As shown in fig. 3, a resin roof head lining 40 as an interior member is attached to an upper portion of a side surface on the vehicle width inner side of the rear inner panel 10. The roof head lining 40 extends from the vehicle body front side of the rear inner panel 10 to the rear pillar 20 so as to cover the upper portion of the vehicle width inner side of the rear inner panel 10. Then, the rear portion 41 of the headliner 40 is configured to cover the divided portion 23 (see fig. 1 (c)) of the upper pillar 21 and the lower pillar 22 in the rear pillar 20 so that the divided portion 23 is not visually recognized from the vehicle interior side by the passenger. That is, the headliner 40 is disposed on the vehicle width inner side of the divided portion 23 of the rear pillar 20, and the divided portion 23 of the rear pillar 20 is disposed on the vehicle width outer side of the headliner 40. Since the split portion 23 of the rear pillar 20 can be covered with the roof lining 40 by disposing the roof lining 40 on the vehicle width inner side of the split portion 23 in this manner, no special parts such as garnishes are required without losing the appearance, and the cost can be reduced.
The lower pillar 22 of the rear pillar 20 is connected to the groove 11a (see fig. 4) along the upper edge of the glass opening 12 in the panel body 11 of the rear inner panel 10 so as to maintain a predetermined gap G1 that opens forward as shown in fig. 3 (d). The gap G1 is a gap (Clearance) necessary to absorb the deviation of the mounting positions of the rear inner panel 10 and the rear pillar 20 between the high roof gauge and the low roof gauge, and if the gap G2 visible from the roof head lining 40 is large as shown in fig. 3 (e), the appearance is impaired. Therefore, in the vehicle body structure 1 of the present embodiment, the vehicle-width-outside end portion 42 of the roof head lining 40 is disposed so as to enter the predetermined gap G1. In this way, the vehicle width outer side end portion 42 of the roof head lining 40 can be disposed in the gap G1, and therefore the gap G1 between the rear inner panel 10 and the rear pillar 20 can be set small.
As shown in fig. 4, the reinforcement plate member 50 is provided in the notch portion 13 of the rear inner panel 10. The reinforcing plate member 50 extends rearward from the edge portion 14 of the rear upper portion of the glass opening portion 12 in the plate main body 11 of the rear inner panel 10 toward the cutout portion 13. The reinforcing plate member 50 is provided so as to straddle the upper column 21 and the lower column 22 (not shown in fig. 4 a) of the rear column 20.
A shaft-shaped tailgate support 60 that supports a tailgate, not shown, and a plate-shaped seatbelt anchor 70 that supports a seatbelt 80 are fixed to the reinforcing plate member 50 via the plate body 11 of the rear inner panel 10. A rear door, not shown, is supported by the rear door support 60 so as to be able to open and close the rear door opening 15 of the vehicle body rear portion. A rear end 71 of the seatbelt anchor 70 is fixed to the plate member for reinforcement 50, and a hanger portion 73 through which a seatbelt 80 drawn from a seatbelt retractor (Belt retractor), not shown, is inserted is attached to a front end 72 of the seatbelt anchor 70.
In this way, since the reinforcing plate member 50 can be used as a member for securing the mounting strength of the tailgate support 60 and the seatbelt anchor 70 at the same time, the number of components can be reduced and the cost can be reduced as compared with a case where separate members are prepared for the tailgate support 60 and the seatbelt anchor 70. Further, the strength of the rear inner panel 10 can be improved by fixing the reinforcing panel member 50 to the panel body 11 of the rear inner panel 10.
As shown in fig. 5 (a), a mounting portion 16 for fixing a seatbelt anchor 70 is provided on the edge portion 14 in the panel main body 11 of the rear inner panel 10 and the reinforcing panel member 50 provided on the vehicle width direction outer side thereof. The mounting portion 16 has a plurality of mounting holes 17, 18 for fastening the rear end portion 71 of the seatbelt anchor 70 by fastening members such as bolts and nuts. The mounting holes 17 are oblong holes and the mounting holes 18 are circular holes, which are formed as rotation stoppers of the end portion 71 of the belt anchor 70.
As shown in fig. 5 (b), the mounting holes 17 and 18 are formed in symmetrical shapes and are arranged in the panel main bodies 11 of the left and right rear inner panels 10 so as to be laterally reversed with respect to a center line extending in the vehicle body longitudinal direction at the center in the vehicle width direction. In this way, the belt anchor 70 having the same shape can be shared between the left and right sides by providing the mounting portion 16 of the belt anchor 70 with a symmetrical shape and arrangement in which the left and right rear inner panels 10 are reversed in the panel main bodies 11. Conversely, if the mounting portion 16 of the seatbelt anchor 70 is not of a symmetrical shape that is inverted right and left, differently shaped seatbelt anchors need to be prepared on the right and left sides, which increases the number of parts and thus costs.
