Abstract

Description
本申请是申请日为2015年8月6日、题为“用于多频带辐射阵列的掩蔽的低频带元件”的中国发明专利申请201580055284.7的分案申请。
技术领域
本发明涉及旨在用于蜂窝基站用途的具有散布式辐射元件的宽带多频带天线。具体而言,本发明涉及当散布有旨在用于高频带的辐射元件时旨在用于低频带的辐射元件。本发明的目的在于最小化低频带偶极子臂(dipole arm)和/或寄生元件(如果使用的话)对来自高频带元件的射频辐射的影响。
背景技术
在多频带散布式天线中,不同频带的辐射元件间会出现不期望的相互作用。例如,在一些蜂窝天线应用中,低频带是694-960MHz而高频带是1695-2690MHz。当较低频带辐射结构的一部分在较高频带的波长处谐振时,这些频带间可能会出现不期望的相互作用。例如,在较高频带是较低频带的频率的倍数的多频带天线中,存在低频带辐射元件或者它的某个部件或部分将在高频带频率范围的某个部分谐振的可能性。这种类型的相互作用可以引起低频带元件对高频带信号的散射(scatter)。因此,将在高频带中观察到辐射图案中的扰动、方位角波束宽度的变化、波束偏斜、高交叉极化辐射和辐射图案中的套筒(skirt)。
发明内容
在本发明的一个方面中,提供了用于在至少具有高频带操作频率和低频带操作频率的多频带天线中使用的低频带辐射元件。该低频带元件包括:具有第一极化并且包括第一对偶极子臂的第一偶极子元件,以及具有第二极化并且包括相对于第一对偶极子臂定向为约90度的第二对偶极子臂的第二偶极子元件。每个偶极子臂包括多个导电段,每个导电段具有小于高频带操作频率下的波长的二分之一的长度,这些导电段由多个感性元件串联耦接,这些感性元件具有被选择为在偶极子臂中衰减高频带电流而通过低频带电流的阻抗。感性元件被选择为在高频带操作频率下表现为高阻抗元件,而在低频带操作频率下表现为较低阻抗元件。
在本发明的另一个方面中,提供了多频带天线。该多频带天线包括反射器、第一辐射元件的第一阵列以及第二辐射元件的第二阵列。第一辐射元件具有第一操作频带,并且第二辐射元件具有第二操作频带。第一辐射元件包括两个或更多偶极子臂。每个偶极子臂包括由多个感性元件串联耦接的多个导电段。导电段各自具有小于第二操作频带下的波长的二分之一的长度。第一辐射元件可包括单偶极子元件或交叉偶极子元件。
感性元件典型地被选择为在第二操作频带下表现为高阻抗元件,而在第一操作频带下表现为较低阻抗元件。第一操作频带典型地包括多频带天线的低频带,而第二操作频带典型地包括多频带天线的高频带。
在本发明的另一个方面中,在多频带天线上可以包括寄生元件以成形低频带波束特性。例如,寄生元件可具有被选择为成形第一操作频带中的波束图案的整体长度,并且包括使用感性元件串联耦接的导电段,其中这些感性元件被选择为减少寄生元件与第二操作频带下的辐射之间的相互作用。寄生元件的导电段还可以具有小于第二操作频带下的波长的二分之一的长度。
本申请要求2014年11月18日提交的、标题为“用于多频带辐射阵列的掩蔽的低频带元件”的美国临时专利申请No.62/081,358的优先权,并且通过引用将其并入该申请。

具体实施方式
图1示意性地画出了双频带天线10。双频带天线10包括反射器12、高频带辐射元件阵列14以及低频带辐射元件阵列16。可选地,可以包括寄生元件30以成形低频带元件的方位角波束宽度。这种类型的多频带辐射阵列通常包括以预定间隔隔开的高频带元件和低频带元件的垂直列。例如,参见通过引用并入的US专利序列号13/827,190。
图2示意性地示出根据本发明的一个方面的包括低频带辐射元件16的特征的宽带双频带天线10的一部分。高频带辐射元件14可以包括任何常规的交叉偶极子元件,并且可以包括第一偶极子臂和第二偶极子臂18。也可以使用其他已知的高频带元件。低频带辐射元件16也包括交叉偶极子元件,并且包括第一偶极子臂和第二偶极子臂20。在此示例中,每个偶极子臂20包括由电感器24串联耦接的多个导电段22。
低频带辐射元件16可以有利地用在多频带双极化蜂窝基站天线中。至少两个频带包括适用于蜂窝通信的低频带和高频带。这里使用的“低频带”指的是诸如694-960MHz的较低频带,而“高频带”指的是诸如1695MHz-2690MHz的较高频带。本发明并不限于这些特定的频带,并且可被用在其他的多频带配置中。“低频带辐射器”指的是用于这样的较低频带的辐射器,而“高频带辐射器”指的是用于这样的较高频率的辐射器。“双频带”天线是包括在整个本公开中所指的低频带和高频带的多频带天线。
参考图3,低频辐射元件16和一对寄生元件30被示出为安装在反射器12上。在本发明的一个方面中,寄生元件30被对准为与反射器12的纵向维度大致平行,以帮助成形图案的波束宽度。在本发明的另一个方面中,寄生元件可被对准为垂直于反射器12的纵轴,以帮助减少元件之间的耦合。在图4中更详细的示出低频带辐射元件16。低频带辐射元件16包括多个偶极子臂20。偶极子臂20可以为二分之一波长长度。低频带偶极子臂20包括多个导电段22。导电段22具有小于高频带频率下的波长的二分之一的长度。例如,2690MHz下无线电波的波长约为11cm,2690MHz下二分之一波长将大约为5.6cm。在所示出的示例中,包括四个段22,这导致段长度小于5cm,5cm比高频带频率范围的上限处的二分之一波长短。使用电感器24串联连接导电段22。电感器24被配置为在低频带频率下具有相对低的阻抗,而在高频带频率下具有相对较高的阻抗。
在图2和图3的示例中,可以使用例如传统印刷电路板制造技术将包括导电段22和电感器24的偶极子臂20制造为非导电基板上的铜敷金属(copper metallization)。在此示例中,连接导电段22的窄敷金属迹线包括电感器24。在本发明的其他方面中,电感器24可以被实现为分立的部件。
在低频带频率下,连接导电段22的电感器24的阻抗足够低以使低频带电流能够继续在导电段22之间流动。然而,在高频带频率下,由串联电感器24造成的阻抗要高得多,这减少了导电段22之间的高频带频率电流流动。此外,保持每个导电段22小于高频带频率下的二分之一波长减少了导电段22和高频带射频(RF)信号之间的不期望的相互作用。因此,本发明的低频带辐射元件16减少和/或减弱由来自高频带辐射元件14的高频带RF辐射造成的感应电流,并且低频带偶极子臂20对高频带信号的任何不期望的散射被最小化。在高频带频率下,低频带偶极子是有效地电不可见的,或者说是“掩蔽的”。
如图3中所示,具有掩蔽的偶极子臂20的低频带辐射元件16可以与掩蔽的寄生元件30组合使用。然而,任一掩蔽的结构还可以相对于另一者独立地使用。参考图1和图3,寄生元件30可以位于被驱动的(driven)低频带辐射元件16的任一侧上以控制方位角波束宽度。为了使整体低频带辐射图案更窄,寄生元件30中的电流可以或多或少地与被驱动的低频带辐射元件16中的电流同相。然而,由于具有被驱动的辐射元件,低频带寄生元件在高频带频率下的不经意谐振(inadvertent resonance)可能扭曲高频带辐射图案。
图5中示出了掩蔽的低频带寄生元件30a的第一示例。寄生元件的分段可以以与图4中的偶极子臂的分段相同的方式完成。例如,寄生元件30a包括由三个电感器24a耦接的四个导电段22a。图6中示出了掩蔽的低频带寄生元件30b的第二示例。寄生元件30b包括由五个电感器24b耦接的六个导电段22b。相对于寄生元件30a,导电段22b比导电段22a更短,并且电感器迹线24b比电感器迹线24a更长。
在高频带频率下,电感器24a、24b表现为分别减少导电段22a、22b之间的电流的高阻抗元件。因此,低频带寄生元件30对高频带信号的散射影响被最小化。然而,在低频带下,沿寄生元件30的分布式电感载荷调整低频带电流的相位,由此对低频带方位角波束宽度进行了一些控制。
在根据上述的本发明一个方面的多频带天线中,偶极子辐射元件16和寄生元件30被配置为用于低频带操作。然而,本发明不仅限于低频带操作,本发明预期用在另外的实施例中,其中被驱动的元件和/或无源元件旨在操作在一个频带下,并且可以不受来自在其他频带中的有源辐射元件的RF辐射影响。示例性低频带辐射元件16还包括交叉偶极子辐射元件。如果仅需要一个极化,则本发明的其他方面可以利用单偶极子辐射元件。
Claims (10)
1.一种多频带天线,包括:
反射器;
被配置为在第一操作频带中操作的第一辐射元件的第一阵列,第一辐射元件包括多个偶极子臂,所述多个偶极子臂被配置为在第二操作频带中具有使电流衰减的高阻抗并且在第一操作频带中具有使电流通过的低阻抗;以及
被配置为在第二操作频带中操作的第二辐射元件的第二阵列。
2.如权利要求1所述的多频带天线,其中,第一操作频带包括所述多频带天线的低频带,并且第二操作频带包括所述多频带天线的高频带。
3.如权利要求1所述的多频带天线,还包括与所述反射器的侧部相邻的多个寄生元件。
4.如权利要求3所述的多频带天线,其中所述寄生元件中的至少一些寄生元件被定位为与第二辐射元件相邻。
5.如权利要求3所述的多频带天线,其中所述寄生元件各自具有被选择以减少第一辐射元件的相反极化辐射器之间的耦合的整体长度和位置。
6.如权利要求1所述的多频带天线,还包括多个寄生元件,其中第一辐射元件中的第一者定位在所述寄生元件中的第一寄生元件和第二寄生元件之间。
7.如权利要求6所述的多频带天线,其中,所述寄生元件中的所述第一寄生元件位于所述反射器的第一侧并且被对准为近似平行于所述反射器的纵向维度,并且,所述寄生元件中的所述第二寄生元件位于所述反射器的第二侧并且被对准为近似平行于所述反射器的所述纵向维度,并且第一辐射元件中的所述第一者沿着连接所述寄生元件中的所述第一寄生元件和所述第二寄生元件的横向轴而定位。
