在专利申请WO 2013/018059中,光催化粉末油漆描述为稀释在水中使用,所述光催化粉末油漆包含:与纳米粒子形式的光催化二氧化钛合并的波特兰水泥(Portlandcement);最大粒度低于100μm的钙质惰性物质;粘度低于1000mPa.s的纤维素;流化剂;消泡剂;乙烯基聚合物;以及颜料。所述组合物还包含以下添加剂中的至少一种:偏高岭土、甲酸钙和硅藻土。
申请人面临以下技术问题:改进经过干燥的油漆产品的反射率、改进经过干燥的油漆产品的表面上的收益(每公斤液体油漆所涂刷的经过干燥的油漆面积)、改进经过干燥的油漆产品的绝热性、改进液体油漆的表面覆盖率和易操作性、减少在经过干燥的油漆产品中留下油漆刷线的倾向性、改进液体油漆产品在表面上的滑动、减少水泥基光催化粉末与水的混合时间、减小液体油漆的密度、增加每公斤水泥基光催化粉末中的最大含水量,以及增加液体油漆的适用期,即油漆硬化所消耗的时间。
申请人面临提供光催化组合物(例如水泥基组合物)的技术问题,所述光催化组合物可用于获得水性油漆,即具有极低稠度的墙面涂料,尤其对于户外应用而言,能够:
(a)确保随时间流逝仍稳定的高光催化效果,同时以相对低量的光催化剂,通常低于10重量%;
(b)使得能以传统装置,诸如用于普通油漆操作的那些装置来制备和涂敷水性油漆,在涂料的均匀性及其对风化因子的抗性方面具有最佳的结果;
(c)使用无毒性作用的产品,而不使用重金属或危险的有机溶剂,尤其是芳烃溶剂,以获得挥发性有机化合物(VOC)含量低于0.35g/l的产品。
下文将更好地说明的这些目标和其它目标将由申请人通过使用如下文具体实施方式和/或随附的权利要求书中所定义的水泥基光催化组合物来实现,从而使得能够获得对可见光辐射改进的反射率以及其它效果。
发明内容
根据本发明的第一方面,提供一种光催化组合物,所述光催化组合物包含:
(a)至少一种无机粘结剂;
(b)至少一种光催化剂;
(c)至少一种具有极低粘度的纤维素;
(d)至少一种流化剂;
(e)至少一种微粒形式的第一钙质填充剂,其中至少95重量%具有不大于40μm的尺寸;
(f)至少一种微粒形式的第二钙质填充剂,其中至少95重量%具有不大于20μm的尺寸;
(g)至少一种包含具有亚毫米直径的中空陶瓷球的绝热材料,以及
(h)玻璃气泡硼硅酸盐微球。

在本发明具体实施方式和随附权利要求书的范畴内,除非区别指明,否则所述光催化组合物的各种组分的量都表达为相对于所述组合物本身总体重量的重量百分比。
一方面,本公开关于如上文定义的水泥基光催化组合物用于涂布建筑物结构以减少污染剂的存在的用途。
另外,本公开关于如上文定义的水泥基光催化组合物用于涂布由金属、木材或塑料材料,例如聚氯乙烯(PVC)制成的表面的用途。关于水泥粘结剂,其通常由干燥状态粉末形式的水硬性水泥材料制成,在与水混合时形成能够在足够长时间后固结并硬化以使其能够以塑性状态应用的塑料材料。水泥粘结剂优选为波特兰水泥。
光催化剂优选为光催化形式,即主要为锐钛矿结晶形式的二氧化钛。所述光催化二氧化钛优选地具有一定粒度以使得至少95重量%具有不大于50nm、更优选不大于20nm的尺寸。所述光催化二氧化钛优选地具有包含在100与500m2/g之间的表面积。所述光催化二氧化钛还可与例如金红石结晶形式的非光催化二氧化钛混合使用,这使得可赋予所述组合物以强烈的白色。所述非光催化二氧化钛优选以0.5至20重量%、更优选以2至10重量%的量存在。

关于具有极低粘度的纤维素,其优选地在20℃下具有100至70,000mPa.s、更优选为100至30,000mPa.s、甚至更优选为200至10,000mPa.s的布氏粘度RVT。粘度例如可在2重量%的水溶液中进行测量。具体来说,纤维素可为选自以下的纤维素醚:乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、甲基羟丙基纤维素、甲基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素、甲基羧乙基纤维素或其混合物。此类型的产品在市场上可见,例如商标Culminal(英国的注册商标)、Walocel(英国的注册商标)和Tylose(英国的注册商标)。
流化剂可选自水泥领域中常用的产品。这些通常是乙烯基或丙烯酸聚合物,诸如:聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚叔碳酸乙烯酯、聚丙烯酸丁酯或其共聚物(例如,Elotex的商品)。流化剂优选地为超级流化剂,例如聚羧酸酯,更具体而言为来自不饱和单羧酸或二羧酸的共聚物以及可聚合不饱和共聚单体。不饱和单羧酸或二羧酸的实例包括:丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、巴豆酸、顺丁烯二酸、反丁烯二酸、衣康酸、柠康酸等等。可聚合不饱和共聚单体的实例包括:聚烷二醇单(甲基)丙烯酸酯(例如:三乙二醇单丙烯酸酯和聚乙二醇单丙烯酸酯,其中所述聚乙二醇具有200至1000的平均分子量)。此类型的产品在市场上可见,例如商标Melflux(欧盟的注册商标)。
例如在UNI EN 12620:2008标准中定义的钙质填充剂是细粉状的钙质矿物质,主要含有碳酸钙(通常碳酸钙含量至少等于75重量%)。申请人相信,加入具有比第一钙质填充剂粒度更细的第二钙质填充剂使得可获得更好品质的涂料,因为较小颗粒填充了其它材料粒子之间,尤其是光催化剂粒子之间存在的间隙。
根据本公开的光催化组合物可包含至少一种疏水化乙烯基聚合物,这可增加水性油漆的疏水性。以粉末形式可得的所述聚合物可优选地以1至20重量%、更优选地以1至6重量%的量加入。疏水化乙烯基聚合物优选为氯乙烯、乙烯和乙烯基酯CH2=CH-O-C(=O)-R的三元共聚物,其中R为直链或支链C4-C24烷基,例如月桂酸乙烯酯。此类型的产品在市场上可见,例如商标Vinnapas(欧盟的注册商标)。

提供一种用于室内或户外的油漆,所述油漆含有陶瓷亚毫米球,所述陶瓷亚毫米球为中空的,具有热反射涂层并且特征在于二氧化钛组分低于0.35%。这些陶瓷亚毫米球可具有小于0.63的发射率、100微米或25微米的平均粒度、得到绿色建筑委员会的生态学认证以及0.11W/mK的热导率。陶瓷亚毫米球可为惰性的(化学稳定)并且为非致癌的。陶瓷亚毫米球可按相关比例混合在油漆中,完全考虑到关于陶瓷亚毫米球的操作说明以及关于刷漆的操作说明。
玻璃气泡可为工程化的中空玻璃微球,是用于涂敷的传统填充剂和添加剂(诸如二氧化硅、碳酸钙、滑石粉、粘土等)的替代品。这些低密度粒子可用于减轻重量、减少成本以及增强产品性能。具有球形的玻璃气泡提供了多种重要益处,包括:填充剂负载更高、粘度更低/流动性改善以及收缩和翘曲减少。玻璃气泡可易于掺混到化合物中,并且可适用于各种生产工艺,包括喷涂、铸造和模塑。
3M(英国的注册商标)玻璃气泡的化学稳定苏打-石灰-硼硅酸盐玻璃组合物提供优良的抗水性以产生更稳定的乳液。它们也是不可燃且无毒的,因此它们不吸收树脂。而且,它们的低碱度给予3M(英国的注册商标)玻璃气泡与大多数树脂的相容性、稳定的粘度和长的保存期。
3M(英国的注册商标)玻璃气泡K系列、S系列和iM系列专门按高强度-重量比配制。它们产生了稳定的空隙,导致低的热导率和低的介电常数。图1中给出一系列3M(英国的注册商标)玻璃气泡K系列、S系列和iM系列产品的粒度数据。
根据本公开的光催化组合物还可包含此种产品类型中常用的其它添加剂,诸如:消泡剂、颜料、曝气添加剂、甲酸钙、硅藻土等。
根据本公开的光催化组合物可根据已知技术,通过使用合适的机械混合器(例如,行星式混合器)将干燥状态的各种组分以任意次序混合足够长时间以获得良好均匀度而产生。
为了制备水性油漆,向所述光催化组合物中加入预定比例的水,混合直至获得均匀且流动的产物。
水与水泥粘结剂之间的重量比可在宽限度内,随所用组分的特异性以及人们希望采用的涂敷技术而变化。水/粘结剂重量比通常包含在0.2与0.8之间。
可通过传统的设备,诸如用于普通刷漆工作的那些设备,如刷子和滚筒,或甚至抹刀、泥铲、真空泵等来进行水性油漆的涂敷。可以在各种类型的建筑物上进行涂敷,诸如墙结构(外墙和内墙),瓦片、平板、预制结构、水泥建筑物(诸如吸音屏障和新泽西屏障)、隧道、露石混凝土、城市建筑物的构成部分或街区公共设施。在涂敷和干燥之后,光催化组合物层的厚度可在宽限度内,随建筑物以及人们希望获得的光催化效果而变化。通常0.05mm至1mm、更优选地0.1至0.5mm的厚度即足够。

(f)至少一种微粒形式的第二钙质填充剂,其中至少95重量%具有不大于20μm的尺寸;
(g)至少一种绝热材料,所述绝热材料包含具有亚毫米直径的中空陶瓷球,以及
(h)玻璃气泡硼硅酸盐微球。
2.根据权利要求1所述的光催化组合物,其中:
