Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to improve a device of the aforementioned type in such a way that the adjustment of the roller element relative to the stock rail in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction is achieved by structurally simple means. In this case, problem-free adjustment should be possible, while ensuring that uncontrolled rotation of the carrier is dispensed with.
To achieve this object, the present invention basically provides: the support is connected to a base plate, which has a wedge-shaped geometry or has a wedge-shaped region, in which the support is supported on the base plate such that the base plate can be adjusted in a guided manner in a direction extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the stock rail or the tongue rail, and the support can be adjusted in a stepwise manner transversely to the longitudinal direction of the stock rail or the tongue rail relative to the base plate
According to the invention, the carriage is emitted from a base plate which enables the guidance of the carriage transversely to the longitudinal direction of the point rail. A simple positioning and orientation of the carrier relative to the stock rail is thus achieved, since the carrier is positively connected to the base plate by means of a toothing (Verrastung). Thereby simultaneously preventing rotation or uncontrolled adjustment of the holder relative to the base plate.
The wedge geometry of the base plate or of the region of the base plate receiving the holder ensures that: problem-free horizontal and vertical adjustment of the bracket and thus of the at least one roller element relative to the stock rail.
In order to achieve the guidance of the substrate and thus of the device itself by structurally simple means, the invention provides in a modification: the base plate is connected to a support, for example a ribbed plate, and is guided transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the point rail.
According to a first alternative, here, a first guide element extending transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the point rail issues from the support, which first guide element interacts with a second guide element issuing from the base plate to guide the adjustment base plate transversely to the longitudinal direction of the point rail.
In this case, it is provided in particular that the first guide element is preferably a single strip and the second guide element is a groove-like longitudinal recess extending on the bottom side of the base plate, or vice versa.
Alternatively, a groove extending transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the point rail can be formed in the support as a first guide element, the width of which corresponds to the width of the base plate, so that this base plate can be received by the support in a guided movement transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the point rail.
It is also possible that at least one beam-like or strip-like projection (vorrespung) emanates from the bottom side of the base plate facing the support, the width extent of said projection matching the recess present in the support, so that the base plate can also be guided transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the point rail.
It is preferably provided that the first guide element, for example a strip or a groove or a recess, is penetrated by a bore, into which a screw element engages, by means of which the bracket can exert a force in the direction of the base mat.
In order to realize continuous horizontal adjustment, the invention is provided with the following components: a long hole extends in the bracket and/or in the base plate (preferably both in the bracket and in the base plate), which long hole extends transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the point rail and is penetrated by the screw element.
In a further embodiment, it is provided that the roller elements are each mounted in a respective end region of the carrier, i.e. before and after the slot.
In order to achieve intermittent or stepped adjustment of the carrier and the base plate, it is provided that the carrier and the base plate have toothing locally in the region where they overlap one another or have an equivalent structure.
In order to ensure a problem-free assembly while at the same time being firmly fixed, it is provided that the base plate is connected in a force-fitting manner to the base mat by means of a single screw element, which passes through the bracket 54 and the base plate and is supported on the bracket.
The invention is also characterized in that the substrate and/or the carrier (in particular both the substrate and the carrier) are made of plastic, in particular polyamide, such as having a glass fiber content of, for example, 15 to 30 wt.%.
In particular, it is provided that a base plate, which is fastened to a support, such as a ribbed plate, extends between the sections of the slide plate with a support.

Detailed Description
Switches are important points of transition in railway technology for freight or passenger transport. The function of the switch is to support and guide the train along a predetermined path. Various branches and intersections belong to the above functions. The composition, disassembly, crossing and overtaking of trains are among other things the main tasks of turnouts.
According to the present invention, a point roller device is proposed, with which it is possible to realize: the rollers supporting the point rail are adjusted both horizontally and vertically relative to the stock rail, wherein, in addition to problem-free assembly and maintenance, readjustment can be carried out both horizontally and vertically without major expenditure. While ensuring a well-defined positioning of the rollers supporting the point rail.
Fig. 1 shows a cut-out of the rail fastening point of the switch of a switch in which the point 14 should be adjusted relative to the stock rail 12 in order to guide a vehicle travelling through the switch in a desired direction depending on the position of the point 14.
The cut-out shows an intermediate plate 16 (see figure 2) which is placed on, for example, a sleeper or a concrete slab, which may be rigid or resilient, and on which a ribbed plate 18 is supported, to which the stock rail 12 is secured in the usual manner. Here, the clamping terminal 20 is used on one side and the clamping springs 22, 24 on the other side. The clamping springs 22, 24 are clamped between the supports 32, 34 and a section of a slide plate 36, the supports 32, 34 being formed by the ribbed plate 18, which slide plate has a U-shaped form according to the drawing and rests in the region of its cross member 38 on a section 28 of the rail foot 30 of the stock rail 12. The clamping terminals 20 are supported on opposing sections 26. In this respect, however, reference is made to well-known structures.
Furthermore, as can be seen from the drawings that are drawn: an intermediate layer 40, for example made of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate), is arranged between the rail foot 30 and the ribbed plate 18. Intermediate layers 47, 49 may also be provided between the longitudinal arms 42, 44 of the U-shaped slide chair 36 and the ribbed plate 18.
As mentioned above, the stock rail 12 is pressed on one side by the clamping terminal 20 and on the other side by the transverse beam 38 of the slide plate 36. For this purpose, the clamping terminal 20 is penetrated by a screw 46, which is connected to the support of the switch.
The components and structures associated therewith were substantially derived from the background art and are also described in principle in DE 102004013347 a1, the disclosure of which is expressly incorporated by reference.
When the point rail 14 is adjusted, it is lifted by means of the roller device 10, which extends between the longitudinal arms 42, 44 of the slide plate 36 and is connected to the ribbed plate 18. The roller device 10 according to the invention consists of a wedge-shaped base plate 48 and a carriage 54 supporting the rollers 50, 52, which likewise has a wedge shape.
According to the background art, the base plate 48 and the bracket may be made of metal, particularly ductile iron.
However, according to the proposal of the invention, the base plate 48 and/or the carrier 54 (in particular both the base plate 48 and the carrier) are made of plastic, in particular polyamide, which may have, for example, a glass fiber content of 15 to 30 percent by weight.
As can be seen from the figures, the regions lying one above the other, which are formed as tooth engagements 60, 62 in the present exemplary embodiment, have a structure which enables a stepwise adjustment, on the one hand by the surface 56 which is inclined with respect to the bottom surface of the base plate 48 and on the other hand by the opposite surface 58 of the carrier 54. Other configurations that enable stepwise adjustment are also possible. Due to the wedge-shaped shape of the base plate 48, vertical adjustment of the bracket 54 (also referred to as roller box) occurs during its adjustment in the longitudinal direction of the base plate 48, i.e. vertical adjustment of the rollers 50, 52. At the same time, the horizontal distance between the rollers 50, 52 and the stock rail 12 changes.
Since the rollers 50, 52 are intended to always extend horizontally in their region of contact with the point rail 14, independently of the position of the carrier 54 relative to the base plate 48, the carrier 54 has a geometry corresponding to the wedge shape of the base plate 48, or the shafts 78, 80 are positioned in the carrier 54 such that the desired horizontal orientation is always present.
In particular, it is provided that the teeth of the toothing 60, 62 have a spacing a of 3 mm. The angle between the underside of the base plate 48 and its upper side (surface 56) should be in the range of about 6 deg. so that the carriage 54, and thus the rollers 50, 52, are raised or lowered by about +/-0.3 mm per tooth movement. Other dimensional designs are of course possible.
In order to ensure that uncontrolled rotation of the roller device 10 is dispensed with, without having to take structurally expensive measures, it is provided according to the invention in a first alternative that the base plate 48 has, on the bottom side, a longitudinal groove 64 extending in its longitudinal direction, which preferably has a rectangular cross section, which is geometrically adapted to a strip 66, known as a roller base (Rollensockel), which emerges from the ribbed plate 18 and extends in its longitudinal direction. It is thereby ensured that: the base plate 48 and thus the roller device 10 can be adjusted substantially only in its longitudinal direction, i.e. transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the stock rail 12.
For guiding the substrate 48 it is only necessary that it has a single guiding element, in particular a single strip 66.
The strap 66 also has apertures, some of which are identified, for example, with reference numerals 68, 70. A fastening screw 72 can be screwed into one of the holes, which fastening screw passes through both the bracket 54 and the base plate 48, so that when the fastening screw 72 is tightened, the roller device 10 is connected in a non-positive manner to the ribbed plate 18, and the base plate 48 and the bracket 54 are connected in a non-positive and positive manner to one another.
In order to achieve a horizontal adjustment of the roller device 10 to the desired extent, i.e. perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the stock rail 12, without height adjustment of the rollers 50, 52, fastening bolts are passed through the slotted holes 74, 76 of the base plate 48 and the bracket 54. The following position of the roller device 10 relative to the stock rail 12 can be adjusted depending on the hole. In this position, the fastening bolt 72 is screwed into the strap 66. Additional fine adjustment is achieved by the elongated holes 74, 76.
As shown in fig. 4, the rollers 50, 52, which are designed as hollow cylinders, are passed through by shafts 78, 80, which are in turn mounted in legs, not shown in detail, of the roller cassettes or supports 54. As previously mentioned, the drawings are self-explanatory in this respect.
Thus, the strip 66 and the groove 64 form a guide for the roller device 10 such that it can be adjusted substantially only transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the stock rail 12.
Thus, a single fastening bolt is sufficient to secure the roller device 10 firmly and clearly relative to the ribbed plate 18 and thus relative to the stock rail 12.
As shown, two rollers 50, 52 issue from a bracket 54, which rollers are rotatably supported in respective end regions of the bracket 54. The slot 76 extends between the rollers 50, 52, and its longitudinal direction extends transversely or perpendicularly to the shafts 78, 80.
When assembling the roller device 10, the distance of the lower edge of the point rail root to the rollers 50, 52 can be adjusted, for example, to about 1mm by means of a feeler gauge. If it turns out that the rollers 50, 52 are too low or too high, the raising or lowering of the rollers 50, 52 can be effected simultaneously with the horizontal adjustment by means of the inclined planes of the surfaces 56 and the tooth engagements 60, 62. After adjustment to the desired dimensions, the roller device 10 is fixed by means of the fastening bolt 72 and, for example, a fixing washer.
Fig. 5 shows an alternative embodiment of the guide of the base plate 48 and thus of the bracket 54.
Thus, according to the embodiment of fig. 1-4, the guidance is achieved by means of a strip-like projection 66 emanating from the belt rib 18.
According to the illustration in fig. 5, a longitudinal groove 67 is provided, the width of which corresponds to the width of the base plate 48, so that the guidance transverse or perpendicular to the point rail longitudinal axis 14 takes place in correspondence with the guidance with the strip 66.
Alternatively, the guidance can also be implemented thereby: at least one strip-like projection emanates from the underside of the base plate 48, which projection extends in the longitudinal direction of the base plate 48. The provision of a groove in the rib 18, corresponding to the width of the projection, also ensures the desired guidance transversely or perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the point rail. Otherwise, the structural features of the rail fixing points are the same as those explained in connection with fig. 1-4.
