Abstract

具体实施方式
本发明涉及固定位置标记读取系统,该系统包括具有声学壳体的可安装标记读取器,该声学壳体是用于在各种安装位置或配置中有效地传输来自单个声源的听觉指示。
在一个示例性实施例中,固定位置标记读取器构造成通过将两个相邻安装表面中的一个安装表面分别地附接到支撑结构而可操作地被安装在至少两个不同位置。示例性的可安装标记读取器还包括与声源声学连通的声音端口,该声音端口是用于当把固定位置标记读取器安装在至少两个不同安装位置中的任一安装位置时有效地将听觉指示传输给用户。
标记读取装置常常是用于对标记(例如条码)进行解码。条码是采用图形格式的信息的机器可读表示。传统地,条码是不同宽度的一系列平行的线条和空白(例如,线性条码或一维条码)。
最近,在对线性条码的替代物的使用中已有增加。例如,矩阵代码(例如,二维条码、快速响应码(QR Code)、Aztec码、数据矩阵等)及光学字符识别(OCR)已变得更加流行。本文中所使用的术语例如标记、条码、和/或代码符号意图是采用它们的最广泛的意义,包括线性条码、矩阵条码、和基于光学字符识别OCR的标签,但不局限于这些例子。
一种类型的标记读取器包括基于激光的读取器,通常包括产生激光束的激光二极管组件、和用于将激光束扫描经过可解码符号的动镜,由此生成与可解码符号相对应的信号。
基于图像传感器的读取器包括多元件图像传感器(例如CID、CMOS、或CCD图像传感器)、和用于将图像聚焦到图像传感器上的成像光学透镜。在基于图像传感器的读取器的操作中,将可解码符号的图像聚焦在图像传感器上,并且生成与该符号相对应的信号。图像传感器元件可排列在一条线中并且矩形矩阵或区域中。面图像传感器例如采集数字图像,并且利用软件算法来发现和解码一个或多个符号。
基于图像传感器的读取器通常是更加耐用,并且相对于激光扫描引擎读取器提供额外的特征。已被合并入基于图像传感器的条码读取器中的特征和功能包括图像处理能力。
参照附图,图1和图2示出了根据本发明的示例性标记读取装置的透视图,在这种情况下固定位置或可安装标记读取器100主要被布置用于固定位置的读取。为了便于参考,图1和图2示出了处在未安装布置中的示例性读取器100。下述的图6和图7中示出了安装的布置。
示例性可安装标记读取器100包括壳体102。该壳体102具有前表面102a,前表面102a包括被整合在壳体102的前表面部内的光传输窗103。壳体102还包括上表面102b、下表面102c、右侧表面102d、左侧表面102e、和背侧表面部102f。壳体的背侧包括电缆600,该电缆600电性连接到读取器100以便在示例性标记读取系统中进行操作,如下面参照图4进一步地描述。
标记读取器100的各个表面包括用于将读取器附着或安装在安装表面(例如,墙壁、桌子,等)上的安装机构131。在一个实例中,安装机构130包括螺纹嵌入件和相应的安装螺钉,但也可使用任何的一系列的可接受机构或紧固件。在这种情况下,固定位置读取器100包括在除了包括连接电缆600的背侧部以外的各个表面上的安装机构130(例如,读取器壳体的基本上全部的表面)。因此,固定位置读取器100可有利地用于在大范围的不同位置安装到安装表面。
如下面参照图5-图7进一步地描述,示例性可安装标记读取器100包括声音端口(sound port)116(图2),当把固定位置标记读取器安装在不同位置时,该声音端口116与具有用于将听觉指示传输给用户的声源的音频指示器系统声学连通。
在光传输窗103后面,壳体102可包括一个或多个光感测组件(即,标记采集系统),例如基于图像传感器的读取引擎和/或用于读取标记、符号、图像等的激光扫描引擎。
示例性的可安装标记读取器100,当位于固定或安装位置时(例如,图6和图7)时,可在穿过扫描模式中操作,在此使携带标记的物体112在视场104内通过从而启动标记读取系统,例如在图3中示意性地示出。示例性读取器100,当位于固定或安装位置时,也可在演示扫描模式中操作,在此将物体放置进入红外(IR)传感器105的(图1)激活范围内启动标记读取系统从而采集或扫描在视场104内的标记,对标记进行解码,和发送相关数据(例如,经由连接器600)。
读取器100也可以构造成人工启动或操作,从而可利用手动致动的按钮或其它用户界面机构(例如,键盘、触发器,等)来启动标记读取系统(未明确地图示)。
示例性的标记读取器(在此情况下是可安装的固定位置读取器100)具有包括标记采集系统210的标记读取系统,如图3中所示。该标记采集系统210获取关于在其视场104内的标记的信息。通常,标记读取器100被安装在表面上并且在自动模式(例如,演示模式)中工作,在此可将携带标记的物体112置于标记采集系统210的视场104内。然而,标记读取器100也可以在手持模式中使用,其中可操纵标记采集系统210将视场104重新定位从而包括携带标记的物体112。
在有些情况下,标记采集系统210可以是基于激光的系统,该系统将光束(例如,激光束)扫过视场104然后接收被标记所反射或散射的光信号。通常,利用光感受器(例如,光电二极管)接收光信号并将其转换成电信号。该电信号是标记信息的电子表示(例如,由标记所代表的数据)。当采用电信号的形式时,可以对此信息进行处理(例如,解码)。
标记解码模块220构造成对由标记采集子系统210所获取的标记信息(例如,电信号或数字图像)进行解码。尽管标记读取器100已被描述为包括标记解码模块220(如图中所示),但这只是举例。在其它可想到的实施例中,标记读取器100可包括标记采集系统210,并且传输所获取的光信息以便在外部主机或类似的系统(例如,经由连接器600)中进行处理或解码。在本文中所包含的对电信号的引述意图也广义地包括能够进行电子处理的数字图像(例如,图像处理计算机处理器)。

物体检测子系统313与用于产生基于IR的物体检测场(例如,用于当使物体在检测场内通过时启动标记读取系统)的IR传感器105可操作连通。
通信组件321构造成接收输入并且将经处理的图像数据和相关信息输出至外部主机400或其它装置(例如,经由有线或无线连接)。例如,通信组件321可经由连接器600而传输/接收数据。
示例性标记读取装置100的各个子系统可以经由控制器314和联接到系统总线300的各部件而可操作地接合。
如图中所示,示例性标记读取装置100包括音频指示器系统110,该系统110包括声源111,该声源111是用于将与当前状态和/或标记读取器的各种操作相关的信息(例如,故障指示、进入不同的模式、完成成功的扫描,等)提供给用户。此外,来自照明指示器系统341的壳体102的指示灯(例如,LED)的照明可被提供为与读取器操作相关的状态指示器。
参考示例性标记读取系统1000的其它方面,示例性的可安装标记读取器100可以包括用于对由摄像头312或其它/另外的光感测组件所输出的数字信号进行处理的中央处理单元(CPU)318。标记读取器100也可包括随机存取存储器(RAM)217、只读存储器219、和存储装置220(例如,闪速存储器、硬盘驱动器,等)。
为了试图对标记信息进行解码,CPU 318可以对数字信号图像数据进行处理。在图4的基于图像传感器阵列的光感测组件的情况下,该数据与一行的像素位置(例如,行、列、对角线组的像素位置)相对应。或者,在基于激光扫描的光感测组件的情况下,代表标记的数字信号可以与扫描路径相对应以便确定暗和光室的空间布局。CPU 318可以通过表查找将所确定的各光和暗室布局转换成字符或字符串。
在其它可想到的实施例中,标记读取器100可采集并传输所获取的光学信息,以便在外部主机或类似系统中进行处理或解码(例如,经由有线或无线连接)。
在可解码标记表现是例如二维条码符号的情况下,解码尝试可以包括以下步骤:利用特征检测算法来定位探测器布局;根据与探测器布局的预定关系来定位与探测器布局交叉的矩阵线;确定沿矩阵线的暗和光室的布局;和通过表查找将各光图案转换成字符或字符串。
就CPU 318而言,CPU 318可经由通信接口321而执行操作系统(OS)和多个适用的装置驱动器。
标记读取器100可以包括电源322,该电源322将电力提供给内部电气元件(例如,集成电路)可以连接的电网340。电源322可以联接到内部或外部功率源500;例如蓄电池、串行接口(例如,USB RS232)、和/或AC/DC转换器。
图5是示例性可安装读取器100的后透视内视图(即,剖视图)。图5示出了示例性壳体102的声学结构及相关特征。包括声源111的音频指示器系统110被设置在壳体内,并且位于基板112(例如,集成电路板)上。音频指示器系统110构造并布置成将与当前状态和/或标记读取器的各种操作相关的信息提供给用户,例如通过在成功的扫描完成后发出声响。
在壳体内的室部件113被图示为包围音频指示器系统110的各部分并且围绕声源111。例如,该室可包括凹槽113a,用于在从基板112突出的音频指示器系统110的一部分上形成过盈或卡扣连接,从而与基板112配合。该室可通过耐用橡胶或弹性材料的注射成型而形成。
如图中所示,室113形成从在声源111附近的第一端114跨越到在声音端口开口116附近的第二端115的声传导通道120(例如,声学波导、声传导管道,等)。因此,声传导通道120与声音端口开口116声学连通,以便将由音频指示器系统110所发出的听觉指示传达给用户。
如在附图中所示,示例性的壳体102具有大体上呈矩形的外观,通常是矩形盒或棱柱体,尽管连接器600以略呈滚圆的边缘(例如,便于使用和操纵)为特征。声音端口段125(例如,包括声音端口开口116或蜂鸣器孔)沿着两个相邻表面102c、102e相交所在的边缘130位于空隙空间(void space)内。在这方面,声音端口段125是插入件(inset),其相对于相邻边缘130的外部向内延伸。
如图中所示,声音端口开口116形成于将壳体102的两个相邻安装表面102c、102e连接的公共边130的倾斜部或段125内。因此,即使音频指示器系统110的声源111可能包括单个扬声器、蜂鸣器、或其它发声机构,但当在各种安装位置(例如,至少两个不同的安装位置)被安装在两个相邻安装表面102c、102e中的任一安装表面上时,声学壳体102可以将声音指示提供给用户。
图6和图7分别示出了被安装在左侧表面102e(图6)和下表面102c附近的支撑表面140上(图7)的示例性固定位置读取器100。如图中所示,在任一布置中,声音端口116不被安装表面140所阻挡。因此,从声源111所发出的音频信号被有效地传导经过通道声学结构120(图5)并且被传输经过在凹进段125处形成于标记读取器壳体102中的声音端口116,因此增强声投射和/或用户感知听觉指示的能力。
如本文中的图示和描述,用于固定位置标记读取器的示例性声学壳体包括形成于将壳体的两个相邻安装表面加以连接的凹进或插入段附近的声通道和声音端口。因此,甚至如果声源包括单个发射器(例如,蜂鸣器或扬声器),当把标记读取器安装到在两个相邻安装表面的任一安装表面上的支撑表面时,固定位置标记读取器可以在声音不被支撑表面阻挡的情况下将听觉指示传输给用户。

Claims (10)
1.一种标记读取器,包括:
标记采集系统,所述标记采集系统用于获取关于在所述标记采集系统的视场内的标记的信息;
标记解码模块,所述标记解码模块构造成对在所述标记采集系统的视场内的标记信息进行解码,所述标记解码模块包括信号处理器;
音频指示器系统,所述音频指示器系统具有用于提供与所述标记读取器的操作相关的听觉指示的声源;和
壳体,所述壳体用于支撑并至少部分地包围所述标记采集系统、所述标记解码模块和所述音频指示器系统,所述壳体包括:
相交而形成公共边的两个相邻的安装表面;和
形成于所述两个相邻的表面和所述公共边的一部分内的声音端口开口,其中,所述声音端口开口相对于所述公共边而向内凹进;
其中,所述标记读取器构造成通过将所述两个相邻的表面中的一个表面分别附接到支撑结构而可操作地被安装在至少两个不同的位置中;并且
其中,所述声音端口开口与所述音频指示器的所述声源声学连通,用于当把所述标记读取器安装在所述至少两个不同安装位置中的任一安装位置时传输经由所述音频指示器系统所发出的听觉指示。
2.如权利要求1所述的标记读取器,其中,所述两个相邻的安装表面中的每一个包括用于将所述标记读取器安装到支撑结构的至少一个安装嵌入件。
3.如权利要求2所述的标记读取器,还包括位于所述壳体内并且至少部分地包围所述音频指示器系统和用于与所述声音端口开口声学连通的所述声源的室。
4.如权利要求3所述的标记读取器,其中,所述室包围所述声源,并且所述室包括从所述声源连续地跨越到所述声音端口开口的声传导通道。
5.如权利要求4所述的标记读取器,其中,所述声传导通道形成用于将经由所述音频指示器系统所发出的听觉指示传输至所述开口的连续声传输路径。
