背景技术
现代造纸技术在造纸厂使用造纸机生成纸卷,而此纸卷继而可由纸板制造商用于生成纸板产品(即波纹状纸板)。结果,纸卷可由连续操作的机器生成。现代造纸机通常借由许多物质生成纸张,包含包括木纤维的木浆(尽管也可使用其他纤维)。此纤维倾向于伸长且适于彼此相邻地对齐。纤维以可从造纸机的调浆箱进给至移动筛网上的浆料形式开始。在现代造纸机中,纤维倾向于彼此对齐并与筛网在其中移动的方向对齐。下层纤维的此对齐方向称为纸张的主要方向,并与机器方向一致。因此,主要方向通常简称为机器方向(MD),并且生成的纸张具有相关联的MD值。

图3是根据本文公开的主题的实施例具有两个波纹状介质120及140以及至少一个凸印介质130的纸板产品100的分解等距剖视图。在此实施例中,纸板产品100包含五层:第一面层110、第一波纹状介质120、凸印介质130、第二波纹状介质140以及第二面层150。如所示,第一面层110可形成耦接至第一波纹状介质120的一侧的顶侧外壁(虽然与纸板产品100的对齐的顶部/底部方向参考是任意的)。耦接可通过施加至第一波纹状介质120的顶侧上的各凹槽的顶点的黏合剂,使得第一面层110被胶合至在其中施加黏合剂的第一波纹状介质120。在其他实施例中,可在耦接至第一波纹状介质120之前将胶施加至整个面层110。
同样地,第二面层150可形成耦接至第二波纹状介质140的一侧上的底侧外壁(再次,顶部/底部方向参考是任意的)。耦接可通过施加至第二波纹状介质140的底侧上的各凹槽的顶点的黏合剂,使得第二面层150被胶合至在其中施加黏合剂的第二波纹状介质140。在其他实施例中,可在耦接至第二波纹状介质140之前将胶施加至整个第二面层150。
进一步地,第一波纹状介质120及凸印介质130可以使用黏合剂彼此胶合。因为第一波纹状介质120之凹槽在交叉方向上对齐并且凸印介质130的凹槽在机器方向上对齐,所以此两种介质之间的接触点将位于相应凹槽的顶点的交叉处。以此方式,第一波纹状介质120及凸印介质130相对于彼此固定,因为黏合剂将一种介质直接固定在另一种介质上。类似地,第二波纹状介质140及凸印介质130也可使用黏合剂彼此黏合。第二波纹状介质140的凹槽也在交叉方向上对齐,并且此两种介质之间的接触点将位于相应凹槽的顶点的交叉处。以此方式,第二波纹状介质140及凸印介质130相对于彼此固定,因为黏合剂将一种介质直接固定在另一种介质上。
当装配且固定所有三种介质时,所得纸板产品100比传统纸板产品更坚固,因为线性凸印介质130利用了下层纸张产品的优异MD值。进一步地,三种介质可以侧接第一面层110及第二面层150。如图4中也可见,在装配时五个层具有凸印介质130,该凸印介质130具有与第一波纹状介质120及第二波纹状介质140的凹槽垂直(或者至少不一致)的凹槽。此导致附加的纸板强度,因为相应介质的凹槽相对于彼此垂直(或至少是不一致的)。未展示的其他实施例可包含三种介质及面层的任何组合,使得至少一种介质为波纹状介质120或140,并且至少一种介质为凸印介质130。
在图3所示的实施例中,波纹状介质120及140被展示为具有称为C形槽的凹槽轮廓。凹槽轮廓是详述凹槽的各种量值诸如凹槽高度、凹槽间距、每直线尺的凹槽数量等的一组标准化参数。其他标准化凹槽轮廓包括A形凹槽、B形凹槽、E形凹槽、F形凹槽及R形凹槽。因此,在此实施例中,波纹状介质120及140包含正弦曲线C形凹槽纹图样。进一步地,凸印介质130也展示为具有C形凹槽轮廓,但是,当然,凹槽相对于下层纸张的机器方向是线性的。凸印介质130也可具有不同的形状,因为凹槽轮廓的特征在于三角形图样。在未展示的其他实施例中,凸印介质130可具有与波纹状介质120不同的凹槽轮廓,诸如E形凹槽轮廓。
图4是根据本文公开的主题的实施例具有两个波纹状介质及至少一个压印介质的纸板产品的等距剖视图。此视图以装配形式展示图3的分解视图纸板产品100。
如已参考图3及图4所讨论,凸印介质130产生的凹槽与机器方向122一致。因此,纸张的下层长纤维125(图2)保持与凹槽方向对齐。使下层长纤维125(图2)与相应凹槽对齐导致凹槽与纸张的较大MD值对齐(当与CD值比较时)。交叉波纹化技术必然导致凹槽与纸张的CD值对齐。不同的是,线性凸印程序借由在机器方向上对齐凹槽来利用纸张之MD值。因此,凹槽产生的凸印程序允许在实现所得纸板产品(诸如纸板产品100)的特定强度时使用较少的总纤维。
具有线性凸印介质130的此纸板产品进一步提高了数个层级的效率,并成功重新调整了造纸商以及纸板/盒制造商的利益。首先,线性凸印允许造纸商在首次浇注至造纸机上的筛网上时忽略需要仔细控制纸浆纤维的对齐(或者说非对齐)的任何需要。为了改良交叉方向上的强度,造纸商可采用包含调浆箱的造纸机,该调浆箱在机器方向上削弱下层长纤维的自然对齐。通过线性凸印,减少或消除了对交叉方向上的改良强度的需要。因此,造纸商可专注于改良造纸机的速度。
其次,纸板制造商可以较少的纸板材料生成纸板产品。本文所讨论的线性凸印层130导致需要较少材料用于生产的开槽介质。也就是说,在传统波纹化机中,开槽介质所需的纸张大于面层部分所需的纸张(以线性方式)。因此,效率增益是双重的:借由在凹槽及面层两者上对齐MD值,用于制作波纹状纸板的整体纸张较少且所得纸板产品的强度更大。
如参考第1-4图所讨论的实施例具有展现正弦曲线形状凹槽的波纹状介质120及140。进一步地,凸印介质130被展示为具有三角形凹槽轮廓。然而,其他实施例可以包含用于任一种介质的凹槽的不同形状,包含锯齿形、梯形或任何曲线形状方式。接下来,参考图5的机器讨论图1-4的纸板产品的附加方面。
图5是根据本文公开的主题的实施例经配置以生成图3及图4的纸板产品100的机器400的各方面的图。在此实施例中,机器包含用于生成纸板产品的五个纸张进给辊410、420、430、440及450。此进给辊包含第一面层进给辊410、第一波纹状介质进给辊420、凸印介质进给辊430、第二波纹状介质进给辊440以及第二面层进给辊450。应注意,缠绕在波纹状介质进给辊420及440上的纸张是在波纹化之前且被缠绕在凸印介质进给辊430上的纸张是在凸印之前。各相应进给辊的纸张的重量及组成可不同并且专门针对相应目的而设计。
来自各卷的纸张可从各相应卷展开并且朝向经配置以将各层纸张组合在一起以形成所得纸板产品的组合器450进给。在各种实施例中,机器400中的进给辊的组合可与图5中所示不同。例如,如图5所展示的进给辊的配置可生成具有附加层的纸板产品。此附加层可为介质之间的一个或多个附加衬垫,使得可生成具有六层或七层的纸板产品。本领域技术人员可很好地理解纸板产品中的附加层,因此参考图5的讨论的其余部分专注于图3及图4的纸板产品的实施例。
在进入组合器450之前,来自进给辊的纸张的至少一些可通过用于将纸张形成为介质的台。如本文及本行业中所使用,介质可指已形成为具有凹槽的纸张的纸张产品。因此,第一波纹状介质进给辊420可将纸张进给至相对于彼此对齐的第一波纹化辊421a及第二波纹化辊421b中。当纸张离开第一波纹化台(例如,波纹化辊421a及421b)时,其变成如上文参考图1所讨论的第一波纹状介质120。然后第一波纹状介质120被进给至组合器450中以与其他材料组合。同样,第二波纹状介质进给辊440可将纸张进给至彼此对齐的第三波纹化辊441a及第四波纹化辊441b中。当纸张离开第二波纹化台(例如,波纹化辊441a及441b)时,其变成第二波纹状介质140。然后第二波纹状介质140被进给至组合器450中以与其他材料组合。
类似地,凸印介质进给辊430可将纸张进给至彼此对齐的第一凸印辊431a及第二凸印辊431b中。当纸张离开凸印台(例如,凸印辊431a及431b)时,其变成如上文参考图2所讨论的凸印介质130。然后凸印介质130被进给到组合器450中以与其他材料组合。
在生成图3的纸板产品的实施例中,使用诸如黏合、固化、润湿、干燥、加热以及化学处理等各种技术在组合器450中组合第一面层110、第一波纹状介质120、凸印介质130、第二波纹状介质140以及第二面层150。所得纸板产品100具有两个交叉波纹状介质120及140以及至少一个线性凸印介质130。
虽然本文讨论的主题易于进行各种修改及替代构造,但是其某些绘示的实施例在图式中展示并且已在上文有详细描述。然而,应理解,无意将权利要求限制于所公开的具体形式,正相反,旨在覆盖落入权利要求的精神及范畴内的所有修改、替代构造及等效物。
Claims (20)
1.一种纸板产品,其包括:
第一介质,其由具有机器方向及交叉方向的第一纸张形成,所述第一介质具有与所述第一纸张的所述机器方向对齐的一个或多个凹槽;
第二介质,其由具有机器方向及交叉方向的第二纸张形成,所述第二介质相对于所述第一介质固定且具有与所述第二纸张的所述交叉方向对齐的一个或多个凹槽;及
第三介质,其固定至所述第一介质。
2.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其进一步包括黏合至所述第一介质的面层。
3.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其进一步包括黏合至所述第二介质的面层。
4.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其中所述第一介质直接黏合至所述第二介质。
5.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其进一步包括黏合至所述第一介质且黏合至所述第二介质的面层,使得所述面层固定在所述第一介质与所述第二介质之间。
6.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其中所述第一介质进一步包括通过凸印产生的凹槽。
7.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其中所述第二介质进一步包括通过波纹化产生的凹槽。
8.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其中所述第三介质由第三纸张形成,所述第三纸张具有机器方向及交叉方向,所述第三介质相对于所述第一介质固定且具有与所述第三纸张的所述交叉方向对齐的一个或多个凹槽,其中所述第三介质进一步包括通过波纹化产生的凹槽。
9.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其中所述第一介质进一步包括具有对应于E形凹槽轮廓的尺寸的凹槽。
10.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其中所述第二介质进一步包括具有对应于C形凹槽轮廓的尺寸的凹槽。
11.根据权利要求1所述的纸板产品,其中所述第一介质中的所述凹槽与所述第二介质中的所述凹槽不一致。
12.一种用于以改进结构制作纸板产品的方法,所述方法包括:
在机器方向上凸印第一纸张,所述凸印导致在所述机器方向上产生凹槽的凸印介质;
在交叉方向上使第二纸张波纹化,所述波纹化导致在所述交叉方向上产生凹槽的波纹状介质;
相对于所述波纹状介质固定所述凸印介质;及
相对于所述凸印介质及所述波纹状介质中的一个固定第三介质。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其进一步包括将所述凸印介质直接黏合至所述波纹状介质。
14.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其进一步包括将所述波纹状介质黏合至第一面层的第一侧且将所述第三介质黏合至第二面层的第一侧。
15.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其进一步包括在交叉方向上使第三纸张波纹化,所述波纹化导致所述第三介质,所述第三介质在所述交叉方向上产生凹槽。
16.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其进一步包括将面层黏合至所述波纹状介质,使得所述面层被安置成与所述凸印介质隔开。
17.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其中所述凸印介质包括具有E形凹槽轮廓的凹槽且所述波纹状介质包括具有C形凹槽轮廓的凹槽。
18.一种机器,其包括:
第一纸张进给辊,其经配置以将纸张进给至波纹化台;
第二纸张进给辊,其经配置以将纸张进给至凸印台;
第三纸张进给辊,其经配置以将纸张进给至介质形成台;
至少一对波纹化辊,其经配置以使进给至所述波纹化台的所述纸张交叉波纹化以生成交叉波纹状介质;
至少一对凸印辊,其经配置以线性凸印进给至所述凸印台的所述纸张以生成线性凸印介质;
至少一对介质形成辊,其经配置以在进给至所述介质形成台的所述纸张中产生凹槽以生成第三介质;
用于将所述交叉波纹状介质及所述第三介质与所述线性凸印介质组合的台。
19.根据权利要求18所述的方法,其进一步包括:
第四纸张进给辊,其经配置以将第一面层进给至用于组合的所述台,使得所述第一面层黏合至所述交叉波纹状介质及所述第三介质中的一个;及
第五纸张进给辊,其经配置以将第二面层进给至用于组合的所述台,使得所述第二面层黏合至所述交叉波纹状介质及所述第三介质中的另一个。
20.根据权利要求18所述的方法,其进一步包括第四纸张进给辊,其经配置以将面层进给至用于组合的所述台,使得所述面层黏合至所述交叉波纹状介质且黏合至所述线性凸印介质。
