Abstract
本发明提供了一种显示装置及其柔性OLED面板,通过在固态柔性基底上设置像素单元区与非像素单元区,将强度高、柔性差的阳极以及阵列式像素电路中包含多层无机材料的晶体管集中设置在像素单元区,非像素单元区除了连接相邻像素单元区的晶体管之间的电连接线穿过外,基本为有机膜层。好处在于:通过将强度高、柔性差的无机材料集中设置,腾出一块无机材料较少的非像素区,使得非像素单元区的柔性远强于像素单元区,由于像素单元区、非像素单元区交替设置,如此,在弯折柔性OLED面板时,柔性佳的非像素单元区优先被弯折,从而降低了像素单元区中阳极断裂的风险、提高了柔性OLED面板整体的柔性。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及OLED显示设备技术领域,尤其涉及一种显示装置及其柔性OLED面板。
背景技术
随着显示技术的发展,出现了基于柔性基底的可弯折柔性显示器件。其中,OLED由于具有自发光的特点,因此与其他显示器件相比,具有功耗低、显示亮度好等优点。制备于柔性基底上的OLED显示器也更容易实现更小弯曲半径的可弯折显示。因此,基于柔性基板的OLED显示面板的制作已经引起了广泛的关注,弯折寿命也成为柔性OLED显示面板可靠性必验证的项目之一。
然而,在弯曲柔性OLED显示面板的过程中,阳极很容易受到张力和压力侵害,导致出现裂纹或断裂。此外,与显示区域的其他材料相比,作为阳极的透明导电氧化物(ITO)的脆性大、柔性低,在弯曲柔性OLED显示面板过程中,容易出现裂纹,这导致阳极的某些区域无法接收来自像素电路中晶体管(TFT)的信号,导致柔性OLED显示面板失效。
有鉴于此,本发明提供一种新的显示装置及其柔性OLED面板,改善弯折性能,以解决上述技术问题。
发明内容
本发明的发明目的是提供一种显示装置及其柔性OLED面板,改善OLED显示面板弯折过程中,对阳极应力层的应力缓冲,提高OLED显示面板的可靠性。
为实现上述目的,本发明的一方面提供一种柔性OLED面板,包括:
固态柔性基底,以及位于所述固态柔性基底上的OLED发光器件;所述OLED发光器件包括阵列式像素电路及设置在上方的有机发光功能层,所述有机发光层功能层包括自下而上堆叠的阳极、OLED发光层、阴极;
其中,所述固态柔性基底上包括阵列式排布的像素单元区,相邻像素单元区之间为非像素单元区,所述阳极与所述阵列式像素电路中的晶体管位于所述像素单元区,相邻像素单元区的晶体管之间的电连接线穿过所述非像素单元区;位于所述非像素单元区的电连接线由有机膜层包覆。
可选地,所述非像素单元区仅具有电连接线与有机膜层。
可选地,所述电连接线包括行排布的扫描线、列排布的数据线与电源线。
可选地,所述阳极位于所述晶体管的上方,所述晶体管包括开关晶体管与驱动晶体管,所述开关晶体管和/或驱动晶体管的全部或部分落于所述阳极的正投影内。

1)本发明通过在固态柔性基底上设置像素单元区与非像素单元区,将强度高、柔性差的阳极以及阵列式像素电路中包含多层无机材料的晶体管集中设置在像素单元区,非像素单元区除了连接相邻像素单元区的晶体管之间的电连接线穿过外,基本为有机膜层。好处在于:通过将强度高、柔性差的无机材料集中设置,腾出一块无机材料较少的非像素区,使得非像素单元区的柔性远强于像素单元区,由于像素单元区、非像素单元区交替设置,如此,在弯折柔性OLED面板时,柔性佳的非像素单元区优先被弯折,从而降低了像素单元区中阳极断裂的风险、提高了柔性OLED面板整体的柔性。
2)可选方案中,非像素单元区仅具有电连接线与有机膜层。尽可能减少像素单元区中的无机膜层,能提高非像素单元区的柔性,也即弯折性能。
3)可选方案中,电连接线包括行排布的扫描线、列排布的数据线与电源线。其它可选方案中,电连接线还可以包括其它控制线。
4)可选方案中,阳极位于晶体管的上方,晶体管包括开关晶体管与驱动晶体管,开关晶体管和/或驱动晶体管的全部或部分落于阳极的正投影内。增加阳极与晶体管的投影重叠面积,可以增大能腾出的非像素单元区的面积,提高柔性OLED面板整体的弯折性能。
5)可选方案中,阳极下表面具有无机支撑层。无机支撑层能增强像素单元区的强度、降低柔性,进一步提高像素单元区、非像素单元区两者强度、柔性的反差,柔性OLED面板弯折时,更有利于非像素单元区先弯折。
6)可选方案中,像素单元区具有若干子像素,各个子像素围绕一中心分布;每一子像素对应一像素电路及阳极,各个阳极位于对应像素电路的晶体管的上方,晶体管包括开关晶体管与驱动晶体管,阳极与驱动晶体管的漏极通过导电插塞相连,各个子像素的阳极连接的导电插塞朝上述中心聚集。将各像素的导电插塞聚集分布,也是增强像素单元区强度、降低柔性的一种途径。

具体实施方式
为使本发明的上述目的、特征和优点能够更为明显易懂,下面结合附图对本发明的具体实施例做详细的说明。
图1是本发明一实施例中的柔性OLED面板的部分结构示意图。图2是图1中沿AA直线的剖视结构增加阳极后的结构示意图。
参照图1与图2所示,该柔性OLED面板1,包括:
固态柔性基底11以及位于固态柔性基底11上的OLED发光器件12;OLED发光器件12包括阵列式像素电路121及设置在上方的有机发光功能层,有机发光层功能层包括自下而上堆叠的阳极122a、OLED发光层、阴极;
其中,固态柔性基底11上包括阵列式排布的像素单元区11a,相邻像素单元区11a之间为非像素单元区11b,阳极122a与阵列式像素电路121中的晶体管1211位于像素单元区11a,相邻像素单元区11a的晶体管1211之间的电连接线横穿过非像素单元区11b;位于非像素单元区11b的电连接线由有机膜层13包覆。
固态柔性基底11的材质可以为聚酰亚胺、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚芳酯、聚碳酸酯、聚醚砜或聚醚酰亚胺。
固态柔性基底11上的像素单元区11a还可以具有一无机材料层14。无机材料层14可以为氮化硅、氮氧化硅、氧化硅中的一层、两层或多层。当为氮化硅或氮氧化硅时,可以作为钝化层,防止外界的水汽、氧,自固态柔性基底11向上扩散。当为氧化硅时,可以作为粘附层,提高固态柔性基底11与后续其上阵列式像素电路121中的无机材料之间的粘结性,防止剥离。
图1与图2中,OLED发光器件12的阵列式像素电路121可以包括多个薄膜晶体管1211及电容(未图示),薄膜晶体管1211如开关晶体管与驱动晶体管。驱动晶体管的漏极与OLED功能层中的阳极122a通过导电插塞15相连,便于注入空穴。OLED功能层中的阴极由上方的公共电极(未图示)充当。
参照图1所示,阵列式像素电路121除了包括薄膜晶体管1211及电容(未图示),还包括相邻像素单元区11a的晶体管1211之间的电连接线。电连接线可以包括行排布的扫描线1212、列排布的数据线1213与电源线1214。数据线1213与电源线1214可以位于同一层,与扫描线1212在不同层。
阵列式像素电路121工作过程如下:开关晶体管的栅极与扫描线1212电连接,开关晶体管的源极与数据线1213连接,当扫描线1212的扫描信号有效时,开关晶体管打开并将数据线1213中的电信号提供给驱动晶体管,使得驱动晶体管开启,并将电源线1214中的电压信号提供给阳极122a;阳极122a与阴极之间形成电势差,阳极122a的空穴与阴极的电子在有机发光层中复合发光,从而实现显示功能。
上述工作过程中,位于开关晶体管漏极与驱动晶体管源极之间的电容可以为驱动晶体管的栅极提供稳定的开启电压。
图1中,每一像素单元区11a可以包括若干子像素,例如为红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素。每一子像素对应一像素电路121。
需要说明的是,图1的每一像素单元区11a中,位于下方的子像素与上方的两个子像素共用数据线1213及电源线1214。其它实施例中,各个子像素之间可以分别连接数据线1213及电源线1214。
参照图2所示,像素单元区11a中,开关晶体管和/或驱动晶体管的全部或部分可以落于阳极122a的正投影内。增加阳极122a与晶体管1211的投影重叠面积,可以增大能腾出的非像素单元区11b的面积。
其它实施例中,阵列式像素电路121中的晶体1211管除了开关晶体管与驱动晶体管,还可以具有其它晶体管;相邻像素单元区11a的晶体管1211之间的电连接线除了行排布的扫描线1212、列排布的数据线1213与电源线1214,还可以具有其它控制线,本发明对阵列式像素电路121的具体结构并不加以限制。
结合图1与图2所示,非像素单元区11b中,除了行排布的扫描线1212、列排布的数据线1213与电源线1214之外,为有机膜层13。有机膜层13能提高非像素单元区11b的柔性。有机膜层13的材质可以为聚酰亚胺、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚芳酯、聚碳酸酯、聚醚砜或聚醚酰亚胺。
像素单元区11a中,阳极122a与晶体管121之间也为有机膜层13,导电插塞15形成在有机膜层13中。
其它实施例中,阳极122a与晶体管121之间可以为无机膜层,例如介电层二氧化硅,导电插塞15形成在介电层中。
OLED发光器件12上还可以设置封装层。封装层可以为薄膜封装(Thin FilmEncapsulation,TFE)中的各层,例如为氮化硅、有机层、氮化硅的三层结构。也可以采用若干有机、无机材料的叠层,本发明对此不加以限制。
上述柔性OLED面板1中,通过在固态柔性基底11上设置像素单元区11a与非像素单元区11b,将强度高、柔性差的阳极122a以及阵列式像素电路121中包含多层无机材料的晶体管1211集中设置在像素单元区11a,非像素单元区11b除了连接相邻像素单元区11a的晶体管1211之间的电连接线横穿外,基本为有机膜层13。强度与柔性是表征材料在外力作用下抵抗永久变形和断裂的能力。
上述方案的好处在于:通过将强度高、柔性差的无机材料集中设置,腾出一块无机材料较少的非像素区11b,使得非像素单元区11b的柔性远强于像素单元区11a,由于像素单元区11a、非像素单元区11b交替设置,如此,在弯折柔性OLED面板1时,柔性佳的非像素单元区11b优先被弯折,从而降低了像素单元区11a中阳极122a断裂的风险、提高了柔性OLED面板1整体的柔性。
柔性OLED面板1除了作为显示器件用外,还可以在封装层上设置触控层,作为触控面板用。柔性OLED面板1甚至还可以作为半成品与其它部件集成、装配在一起形成如手机、平板电脑(PAD)、车载显示屏等显示装置。可以理解的是,上述强度、柔性差异大的像素单元区11a与非像素单元区11b也可以提高固态柔性基底11对触摸过程中产生的应力的缓冲。
图3是本发明另一实施例中的柔性OLED面板的一个像素单元区的结构示意图。图4是图3的截面结构增加阳极后的结构示意图。参照图1至图4所示,本实施例中的柔性OLED面板1'与图1中的柔性OLED面板1结构大致相同,区别仅在于:像素单元区11a中,每一子像素对应一像素电路121及阳极122a,各个阳极122a位于对应像素电路121的晶体管1211的上方,晶体管1211包括开关晶体管与驱动晶体管,各个子像素的阳极122a连接的导电插塞15朝各个子像素围绕的中心聚集。
例如参照图1,对于红色子像素、绿色子像素与蓝色子像素,三子像素呈三角形分布,该中心位于三角形内。
可以理解的是,将各子像素的导电插塞15聚集分布,也能增强像素单元区11a的强度、降低柔性,从而提高像素单元区11a、非像素单元区11b两者强度、柔性的反差,使得柔性OLED面板1'弯折时,更有利于非像素单元区11b先弯折。
图5是本发明再一实施例中的柔性OLED面板的截面结构示意图。参照图5所示,本实施例中的柔性OLED面板1"与图3中的柔性OLED面板1'结构大致相同,区别仅在于:阳极122a下表面具有无机支撑层16。
无机支撑层16的材质可以为二氧化硅、氮化硅、氮氧化硅等,上述材质能增强像素单元区11a的强度、降低柔性。
图6是本发明又一实施例中的柔性OLED面板的截面结构示意图。参照图6所示,各个子像素对应的阳极122a下表面的无机支撑层16可以连成一体,一方面提高支撑性能,另一方面简化制作无机支撑层16时的工艺步骤。
虽然本发明披露如上,但本发明并非限定于此。任何本领域技术人员,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,均可作各种更动与修改,因此本发明的保护范围应当以权利要求所限定的范围为准。
Claims (10)
1.一种柔性OLED面板,包括:
固态柔性基底,以及位于所述固态柔性基底上的OLED发光器件;所述OLED发光器件包括阵列式像素电路及设置在上方的有机发光功能层,所述有机发光层功能层包括自下而上堆叠的阳极、OLED发光层、阴极;
其特征在于,所述固态柔性基底上包括阵列式排布的像素单元区,相邻像素单元区之间为非像素单元区,所述阳极与所述阵列式像素电路中的晶体管位于所述像素单元区,相邻像素单元区的晶体管之间的电连接线穿过所述非像素单元区;位于所述非像素单元区的电连接线由有机膜层包覆。
2.根据权利要求1所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,所述非像素单元区仅具有电连接线与有机膜层。
3.根据权利要求1所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,所述电连接线包括行排布的扫描线、列排布的数据线与电源线。
4.根据权利要求1所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,所述阳极位于所述晶体管的上方,所述晶体管包括开关晶体管与驱动晶体管,所述开关晶体管和/或驱动晶体管的全部或部分落于所述阳极的正投影内。
5.根据权利要求1所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,所述阳极下表面具有无机支撑层。
6.根据权利要求5所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,每一所述像素单元区包括若干子像素,每一子像素对应一阳极;各个子像素对应的阳极下表面的无机支撑层连成一体。
7.根据权利要求1所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,所述像素单元区具有若干子像素,各个子像素围绕一中心分布;每一子像素对应一像素电路及阳极,各个阳极位于对应像素电路的晶体管的上方,所述晶体管包括开关晶体管与驱动晶体管,所述阳极与所述驱动晶体管的漏极通过导电插塞相连,各个子像素的阳极连接的导电插塞朝所述中心聚集。
8.根据权利要求7所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,若干子像素为红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素,所述红色子像素、绿色子像素与蓝色子像素呈三角形分布,所述中心位于所述三角形内。
9.根据权利要求7或8所述的柔性OLED面板,其特征在于,所述阳极与所述晶体管之间为有机膜层或无机膜层,所述导电插塞形成在所述有机膜层或无机膜层中。
10.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求1至9任一项所述的柔性OLED面板。
