背景技术
LED像素驱动电路中,驱动晶体管的阈值电压会影响LED的亮度,当显示面板上驱动晶体管的阈值电压差异较大时,显示面板显示的画面就会出现沙漏现象。
相关技术中,像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值补偿可以通过外部补偿实现,外部补偿通常通过源极驱动电路向驱动晶体管的控制端补偿该驱动晶体管的阈值电压。
然而,阈值电压的动态范围较大,从而造成源极驱动电路所损耗的功率较大。

发明内容
本公开的目的在于提供一种像素补偿电路以补偿方法、像素电路、显示面板,进而至少在一定程度上克服相关技术中,由于阈值电压的动态范围较大,而造成的源极驱动电路损耗的功率较大的技术问题。
根据本发明的一个方面,提供一种像素补偿电路,用于补偿像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流,该像素补偿电路包括检测电路、第一补偿电路以及第二补偿电路。检测电路用于检测所述驱动晶体管的阈值电压;第一补偿电路用于向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入一第一参考电压,所述第一参考电压包括一第一补偿电压的相反数,其中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得;第二补偿电路用于向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压的同时,向所述驱动晶体管的控制端写入第二补偿电压,所述第二补偿电压等于所述驱动晶体管的阈值减去所述第一补偿电压的差值。
在本发明的一种示例性实施例中,所述检测电路包括检测子电路、检测线、第一晶体管以及检测电容。检测线与所述检测子电路连接,所述检测子电路用于检测所述检测线的电压;第一晶体管的第一端与所述驱动晶体管的源极连接,第二端与所述检测线连接,控制端接收第一控制信号用以控制所述第一晶体管第一端与第二端的断通;检测电容的第一电极与所述检测线连接,第二电极接地。
在本发明的一种示例性实施例中,所述检测电路还包括第二晶体管。第二晶体管的第一端与所述检测线连接,第二端与初始化信号端连接,控制端接收一第二控制信号用以控制所述第二晶体管第一端与第二端的断通。

虽然本说明书中使用相对性的用语,例如“上”“下”来描述图标的一个组件对于另一组件的相对关系,但是这些术语用于本说明书中仅出于方便,例如根据附图中所述的示例的方向。能理解的是,如果将图标的装置翻转使其上下颠倒,则所叙述在“上”的组件将会成为在“下”的组件。其他相对性的用语,例如“高”“低”“顶”“底”“左”“右”等也作具有类似含义。当某结构在其它结构“上”时,有可能是指某结构一体形成于其它结构上,或指某结构“直接”设置在其它结构上,或指某结构通过另一结构“间接”设置在其它结构上。
用语“一个”、“一”、“所述”用以表示存在一个或多个要素/组成部分/等;用语“包括”和“具有”用以表示开放式的包括在内的意思并且是指除了列出的要素/组成部分/等之外还可存在另外的要素/组成部分/等。
如图1所示,为相关技术中像素驱动电路的一种结构示意图。2T1C结构是一种经典的像素驱动电路结构,如图1所示,相关技术中,像素驱动电路一般包括驱动晶体管DT1、开关晶体管T1以及充电电容C1。相关技术中,根据驱动晶体管DT1的I-V特性可知,当驱动晶体管DT1完全导通时,驱动晶体管的输出电流为:
其中,C为驱动晶体管DT1氧化层电容,W和L是驱动晶体管DT1的宽长比,Vg为驱动晶体管栅极的电压即Vdata,Vs为驱动晶体管源极的电压,Vth为驱动晶体管的阈值电压。
从上面驱动晶体管DT1的输出电流公式中可以看出,驱动晶体管DT1的输出电流与驱动晶体管DT1的阈值电压相关。然而,像素驱动电路在使用过程中,驱动晶体管的阈值电压会发生漂移,从而引起驱动晶体管DT1输出电流发生偏差,造成OLED的亮度相应产生差异,显示的画面出现沙漏现象。相关技术中,通常通过外部补偿在数据信号Vdata1中写入驱动晶体管DT1的阈值电压Vth,从而驱动晶体管的栅极电压变为Vg+Vth,则:
基于此,本示例性实施例首先提供一种像素补偿电路,用于补偿像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流,如图2所示,为本公开像素补偿电路一种示例性实施例的结构示意图。该像素补偿电路包括检测电路6、第一补偿电路7以及第二补偿电路8。检测电路6用于检测所述驱动晶体管的阈值电压;第一补偿电路7用于向所述驱动晶体管DT的源极写入一第一参考电压Vref1,所述第一参考电压由一第二参考电压Vref2减去一第一补偿电压V1求得,其中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得;第二补偿电路用于向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压的同时,向所述驱动晶体管的控制端写入第二补偿电压V2,所述第二补偿电压等于所述驱动晶体管的阈值减去所述第一补偿电压的差值即V2=Vth-V1。
本示例性实施例中,第一参考电压可以为显示面板上所有驱动晶体管阈值电压的平均值。应该理解的是,在其他示例性实施例中,第一参考电压还可以为显示面板上所有驱动晶体管阈值电压的中值,分位置等。
本示例性实施例中,第一参考电压Vref1可以等于一第二参考电压Vref2减去第一补偿电压V1的差值。从而驱动晶体管的输出电流:
上式中,Iout不受驱动晶体管Vth的阈值影响,因而对驱动晶体管Vth的阈值进行了补偿。并且第二补偿电压V2的动态变化范围较小,从而降低了源极驱动电路的功率。
本示例性实施例提供一种像素补偿电路。该像素补偿电路包括第一补偿电路和第二补偿电路。本发明通过第一补偿电路和第二补偿电路共同对补偿电压进行补偿,将原本的补偿电压分解为恒压的第一补偿电压和动态变化范围较小第二补偿电压。一方面,该像素补偿电路可以减小源极驱动电路的功率;另一方面,该像素补偿电路结构简单,成本较低。
本示例性实施例中,如图3所示,为本公开像素补偿电路一种示例性实施例中检测电路的结构示意图。像素驱动电路以2T1C结构为例进行说明,其中像素驱动电路包括驱动晶体管DT、开关晶体管T2以及充电电容C2,开关晶体管T2和驱动晶体管DT均可以为N沟道型晶体管。开关晶体管T2的第一端接收数据信号Vdata,第二端与驱动晶体管DT的控制端连接,控制端与栅极驱动信号Gn连接,驱动晶体管DT的漏极与高电平VDD连接,源极连接LED的输入端,充电电容C2的两电极端分别与开关晶体管T2的第二端、驱动晶体管DT的源极端连接。所述检测电路可以包括检测子电路、检测线Sense line、第一晶体管T3以及检测电容C3。检测线Sense line与所述检测子电路连接,且检测子电路连接于检测线连接第一晶体管T3的一端,所述检测子电路可以集成于源极驱动电路内,用于检测所述检测线的电压和电流,检测子电路可以为电压电流测试器;第一晶体管T3的第一端与所述驱动晶体管DT的源极连接,第二端与所述检测线Sense line连接,控制端接收第一控制信号用以控制所述第一晶体管第一端与第二端的断通;检测电容C3的第一电极与所述检测线Sense line连接,第二电极接地。本示例性实施例中,第一控制信号可以共用栅极驱动信号Gn。
为了避免检测电容C3内残留电荷对检测结构的影响,本示例性实施例中,所述检测电路还可以包括第二晶体管T4。第二晶体管T4的第一端与所述检测线Sense line连接,第二端与初始化信号端Vini连接,控制端接收一第二控制信号S2用以控制所述第二晶体管第一端与第二端的断通。
本示例性实施例中,如图4所示,为本公开像素补偿电路一种示例性实施例中检测电路工作的时序图,其中,VB为驱动晶体管DT源极B点的电压;VA为驱动晶体管DT栅极A点的电压。检测电路在检测驱动晶体管DT的阈值电压时包括三个阶段:(1)复位阶段,(2)Vth建立阶段,(3)读取阶段。
(1)复位阶段,栅极驱动信号Gn和第二控制信号S2均为高电平,开关晶体管T2、第一晶体管T3以及第二晶体管T4均导通。初始化信号端Vini通过第二晶体管T4向检测电容C3和充电电容C2充电,将VB和检测线Sense line还原为初始电压Vini。数据信号Vdata向充电电容C2充电,VA的电压为Vdata。
(2)Vth建立阶段,第二控制信号S2为低电平,栅极驱动信号Gn为高电平,第一晶体管T3和开关晶体管T2导通,第二晶体管T4关断。数据信号Vdata持续向驱动晶体管DT的栅极输入数据信号Vdata,VA的电压为Vdata。驱动晶体管DT的输出电流Iout可以持续向检测电容C3充电,从而使得B点电压VB的电压持续上升,直到驱动晶体管DT的输出电流Iout为零,B点电压VB不再上升。
其中,为了确保在Vth建立阶段,数据信号Vdata能向充电电容C2和检测电容C3充电,则需要保证Vini<Vdata-Vth;同时为了确保LED在复位阶段和Vth建立阶段保持截止状态,则需要Vdata-Vth<VLED+ELVSS,其中,VLED为LED的驱动电压,ELVSS为LED的输出端电压。
(3)读取阶段,由公式:
可知,当Iout为零时,B点电压VB(即Vs)等于Vdata(即Vg)-Vth,B点电压VB即为检测线上的电压,此时通过检测子电路检测检测线的电压即得出B点电压VB,结合已知值Vdata,可以计算得出Vth=Vdata-VB。
应该理解的是,在其他示例性实施例中,检测子电路还有更多的结构可供选择,这些都属于本公开的保护范围。
本示例性实施例中,所述第一参考电压等于第二参考电压减去所述第一补偿电压的差值,为了确保像素驱动时OLED不发光,第一参考电压小于OLED正常发光的阳极电平。第二参考电压小于OLED阳极电平加上第一补偿电压,另一方面,为了确保数据驱动集成电路输出的像素驱动电平为正电平,第二参考电压为正。
本示例性实施例中,如图5所示,为本公开像素补偿电路一种示例性实施例中第一补偿电路的结构示意图。所述第一补偿电路包括寄存器1、数模转换器2、减法电路3和第三晶体管T5。寄存器1用于存储所述第一补偿电压的数字信号;数模转换器2用于将所述第一补偿电压的数字信号转化为所述第一补偿电压V1;减法电路3的第一输入端接收一第二参考电压Vref2,第二输入端接收所述第一补偿电压V1;第三晶体管T5的第一端与检测线Sense line连接,第二端与所述减法电路3的输出端连接,控制端控制端接收一第三控制信号S3用以控制所述第三晶体管T5第一端与第二端的断通。在阈值电压检测阶段,当第三控制信号S3为低电平时,第三晶体管T5关断,上述检测电路对驱动晶体管DT的阈值Vth电压进行检测。在LED驱动阶段,当第三控制信号S3为高电平时,第三晶体管T5导通,同时,上述检测电路中第二控制信号S2输出低电平,第二晶体管T4关断,栅极驱动信号Gn为高电平,第一晶体管T3导通,减法电路3的输出端输出的电压为Vref2-V1(即第一参考电压Vref1)。应该理解的是,在其他示例性实施例中第一补偿电路还有更多的结构可供选择,这些都属于本公开的保护范围。
本示例性实施例中,如图5所示,减法电路3可以包括运放OP、第一电阻R1、第二电阻R2、第三电阻R3以及第四电阻R4,第一电阻R1的一端与运放OP的第一输入端连接,第二端形成减法电路的第一输入端;第二电阻的第一端与运放OP的第一输入端连接,第二端与运放OP的输出端连接;第三电阻R3的第一端与运放OP的第二输入端连接,第二端形成减法电路的第二输入端;第四电阻R4第一端与运放OP的第二输入端连接,第二端接地。其中,R1=R2=R3=R4。应该理解的是,在其他示例性实施例中,减法电路还有更多的结构可供选择,这些都属于本公开的保护范围。
本示例性实施例中,第二补偿电路可以集成于源极驱动电路上,第二补偿电路可以与相关技术中的外部补偿电路结构相同。
本示例性实施例还提供一种像素补偿电路,用于补偿像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流,如图6所示,为本公开像素补偿电路的结构示意图。该像素补偿电路包括检测线Sense line、寄存器1、数模转化器2、第一晶体管T3、检测电容C3、第二晶体管T4、减法电路3以及第三晶体管T5。寄存器1用于存储所述第一补偿电压的数字信号;数模转换器2用于将所述第一补偿电压的数字信号转化为所述第一补偿电压V1;检测线与一检测子电路(未画出)连接,所述检测子电路用于检测所述检测线的电压;第一晶体管的第一端与所述驱动晶体管的源极连接,第二端与所述检测线连接,控制端接收第一控制信号用以控制所述第一晶体管第一端与第二端的断通;检测电容的第一电极与所述检测线连接,第二电极接地;第二晶体管的第一端与所述检测线连接,第二端与初始化信号端Vini连接,控制端接收一第二控制信号S2用以控制所述第二晶体管第一端与第二端的断通;减法电路的第一输入端接收一第二参考电压,第二输入端接收所述第一补偿电压,其中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得;第三晶体管的第一端与检测线连接,第二端与所述减法电路的输出端连接,控制端控制端接收一第三控制信号S3用以控制所述第三晶体管第一端与第二端的断通。
本示例性实施例提供的像素补偿电路与上述的像素补偿电路具有相同的技术特征和工作原理,上述内容已经做出详细说明,此处不再赘述。
本示例性实施例还提供一种像素补偿方法,用于补偿像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流,如图7所示,为本公开像素补偿方法一种示例性实施例的流程图。该方法包括:
步骤S1:获取所述像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压;
步骤S2:向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压,所述第一参考电压包括第一补偿电压的相反数,其中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得;
步骤S3:向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压的同时,向所述驱动晶体管的控制端写入第二补偿电压,所述第二补偿电压等于所述驱动晶体管的阈值减去所述第一补偿电压的差值。
本示例性实施例中,所述获取所述显示面板上所有像素驱动电路的驱动晶体管的阈值电压包括:
施加一控制电压至所述驱动晶体管的控制端用以导通所述驱动晶体管;
检测所述驱动晶体管的输出电流由非零转变为零时所述驱动晶体管的源极的临界电压;
根据所述控制电压以及所述临界电压获取所述驱动晶体管的阈值电压。
本示例性实施例中,在所述施加一控制电压至所述驱动晶体管的控制端用以导通所述驱动晶体管之前还包括:
向所述驱动晶体管的源极输入一初始化信号。
本示例性实施例中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得包括:
计算所有所述驱动晶体管的阈值电压的平均值,所述平均值为所述第一补偿电压。应该理解的是,在其他示例性实施例中,第一参考电压还可以为显示面板上所有驱动晶体管阈值电压的中值,分位置等。
本示例性实施例提供的像素补偿电方法与上述的像素补偿电路具有相同的技术特征和工作原理,上述内容已经做出详细说明,此处不再赘述。
本示例性实施例还提供一种像素电路,包括发光器件、驱动电路以及上述像素补偿电路。驱动电路用于驱动所述发光器件发光;像素补偿电路用于补偿所述驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流。
本示例性实施例还提供一种显示面板,如图8所示,为本公开显示面板一种示例性实施例的机构示意图。该显示面板包括上述的像素电路以及源极驱动电路4,逻辑板5。上述像素补偿电路中的第二控制信号S2、第三控制信号S3可以通过对源极驱动电路4编程实现。第一晶体管T3可以集成于像素驱动电路中,第二晶体管T4可以设置于显示面板下侧的非显示区,第三晶体管T5可以设置于显示面板上侧的非显示区。检测子电路、寄存器1、数模转换器2以及减法电路可以集成于源极驱动电路上。检测子电路感测到的感测信号SS可以传输到逻辑板5,逻辑板5对感测信号SS进出运算得出第一补偿电压和第二补偿电压,并通过控制信号CS控制源极驱动电路向检测线Sense line输入第一参考电压,通过数据信号Mdata控制源极驱动电路向数据线输入第二补偿电压。

Claims (12)
1.一种像素补偿电路,用于补偿像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流,其特征在于,包括:
检测电路,用于检测所述驱动晶体管的阈值电压;
第一补偿电路,用于向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压,所述第一参考电压由第二参考电压减去第一补偿电压求得,其中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得;
第二补偿电路,用于向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压的同时,向所述驱动晶体管的控制端写入第二补偿电压,所述第二补偿电压等于所述驱动晶体管的阈值减去所述第一补偿电压的差值。
2.根据权利要求1所述的像素补偿电路,其特征在于,所述检测电路包括:
检测子电路;
检测线,与所述检测子电路连接,所述检测子电路用于检测所述检测线的电压;
第一晶体管,第一端与所述驱动晶体管的源极连接,第二端与所述检测线连接,控制端接收第一控制信号用以控制所述第一晶体管第一端与第二端的断通;
检测电容,第一电极与所述检测线连接,第二电极接地。
3.根据权利要求2所述的像素补偿电路,其特征在于,所述检测电路还包括:
第二晶体管,第一端与所述检测线连接,第二端与初始化信号端连接,控制端接收一第二控制信号用以控制所述第二晶体管第一端与第二端的断通。
4.根据权利要求1所述的像素补偿电路,其特征在于,所述第一补偿电路包括:
寄存器,用于存储第一补偿电压的数字信号;
数模转换器,用于将所述第一补偿电压的数字信号转化为所述第一补偿电压;
减法电路,第一输入端接收所述第二参考电压,第二输入端接收所述第一补偿电压;
第三晶体管,第一端与检测线连接,第二端与所述减法电路的输出端连接,控制端接收一第三控制信号用以控制所述第三晶体管第一端与第二端的断通。
5.根据权利要求1-4任一项所述的像素补偿电路,其特征在于,所述第二参考电压大于零。
6.一种像素补偿电路,用于补偿像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流,其特征在于,包括:
检测线,与一检测子电路连接,所述检测子电路用于检测所述检测线的电压;
第一晶体管,第一端与所述驱动晶体管的源极连接,第二端与所述检测线连接,控制端接收第一控制信号用以控制所述第一晶体管第一端与第二端的断通;
检测电容,第一电极与所述检测线连接,第二电极接地;
第二晶体管,第一端与所述检测线连接,第二端与初始化信号端连接,控制端接收一第二控制信号用以控制所述第二晶体管第一端与第二端的断通;
寄存器,用于存储第一补偿电压的数字信号;
数模转换器,用于将所述第一补偿电压的数字信号转化为所述第一补偿电压;
减法电路,第一输入端接收一第二参考电压,第二输入端接收所述第一补偿电压,其中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得;
第三晶体管,第一端与检测线连接,第二端与所述减法电路的输出端连接,控制端接收一第三控制信号用以控制所述第三晶体管第一端与第二端的断通。
7.一种像素补偿方法,用于补偿像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流,其特征在于,包括:
获取所述像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压;
向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压,所述第一参考电压由第二参考电压减去第一补偿电压求得,其中,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得;
向所述驱动晶体管的源极写入第一参考电压的同时,向所述驱动晶体管的控制端写入第二补偿电压,所述第二补偿电压等于所述驱动晶体管的阈值减去所述第一补偿电压的差值。
8.根据权利要求7所述的像素补偿方法,其特征在于,所述获取所述显示面板上所有像素驱动电路的驱动晶体管的阈值电压包括:
施加一控制电压至所述驱动晶体管的控制端用以导通所述驱动晶体管;
检测所述驱动晶体管的输出电流由非零转变为零时所述驱动晶体管的源极的临界电压;
根据所述控制电压以及所述临界电压获取所述驱动晶体管的阈值电压。
9.根据权利要求8所述的像素补偿方法,其特征在于,在所述施加一控制电压至所述驱动晶体管的控制端用以导通所述驱动晶体管之前还包括:
向所述驱动晶体管的源极输入一初始化信号。
10.根据权利要求7所述的像素补偿方法,其特征在于,所述第一补偿电压根据显示面板上所有像素驱动电路中驱动晶体管的阈值电压求得包括:
计算所有所述驱动晶体管的阈值电压的平均值,所述平均值为所述第一补偿电压。
11.一种像素电路,其特征在于,包括:
发光器件;
驱动电路,用于驱动所述发光器件发光;
如权利要求1-6任一项所述像素补偿电路,用于补偿所述驱动电路中驱动晶体管的输出电流。
12.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括:如权利要求11所述的像素电路。
