The invention provides a roller surface defect detection system, and aims to solve the technical problems that in the prior art, roller surface defect detection is easy to miss detection and separation efficiency is low.

And the sorting device is used for receiving the NG signal or the OK signal sent by the control unit, sorting and conveying the detected rollers according to preset corresponding control signals, and is electrically connected with the control unit.
Further, the roller rotary conveying device is a turntable conveying mechanism, and the turntable conveying mechanism comprises:

Compared with the prior art, the roller surface defect detection system has the advantages that the parallel rollers with the axes and the rotating shaft of the roller rotating and conveying device are placed on the roller rotating and conveying device, so that the rollers rotate around the axes of the roller rotating and conveying device, namely the 360-degree unfolding of the rotating shaft of the roller rotating and conveying device is realized; by arranging the excircle imaging device above the roller rotary conveying device, 360-degree excircle images of the roller can be acquired in the process that the roller rotates around the rotating shaft of the roller rotary conveying device, and meanwhile, end face imaging devices are arranged on the upper side and the lower side of the roller rotary conveying device, namely the two ends of the roller, and are used for acquiring end face images on the two sides of the roller; the control unit receives the excircle image sent by the excircle imaging device and the end face image sent by the end face imaging device, acquires the type of the roller surface defect through image comparison analysis, counts, outputs an OK signal or an NG signal, and the sorting device receives the OK signal or the NG signal sent by the control unit and completes sorting and conveying of the roller according to the received signals; according to the roller surface defect detection system, the roller is rotated and unfolded through the roller rotary conveying device, 360-degree excircle images and two-side end face images of the roller can be obtained in the roller rotating process through the excircle imaging device and the end face imaging device which are arranged above and below the roller rotary conveying device, the types of roller surface defects are obtained after image processing and contrast analysis through the control unit, OK signals or NG signals are sent out, the signals are received by the sorting device for sorting, the images completely cover the outer surface of the roller, the omission ratio of the roller is greatly reduced, and the sorting efficiency is greatly improved through automatic sorting and multi-stage sorting.

Referring to fig. 1 to 3, a roller surface defect detection system according to the present invention will be described. The roller surface defect detection system comprises a roller rotary conveying device 1, an excircle imaging device 2, an end face imaging device 3, a control unit 4 and a sorting device 6, wherein the roller rotary conveying device 1 is used for driving a roller 10 with an axis parallel to the rotating shaft of the roller rotary conveying device 1 to rotate and convey; the excircle imaging device 2 is used for acquiring an excircle image of the roller 10; the end face imaging device 3 is used for acquiring end face images of the roller 10, and the end face imaging device 3 is arranged on the upper side and the lower side of the roller rotary conveying device 1; the control unit 4 is used for receiving the excircle image sent by the excircle imaging device 2 and the end face image sent by the end face imaging device 3, acquiring the surface defect type of the roller 10 and outputting an NG signal or an OK signal; the sorting device 6 is configured to receive an NG signal or an OK signal sent by the control unit 4, sort and convey the detected rollers 10 according to a preset corresponding control signal, and the sorting device 6 is electrically connected to the control unit 4.
This scheme both is applicable to cylindrical roller and also is applicable to tapered roller, optionally, roller surface defect detecting system still includes frame 7, roller rotary conveying device 1, excircle image device 2, terminal surface image device 3, control unit 4 and sorting unit 6 all locate on the frame 7, roller rotary conveying device 1 is rotatory around the fixed axis of vertical direction, it is rotatory around fixed axis to drive the roller 10 that is located on the roller rotary conveying device 1 simultaneously, roller 10 is expanded around this fixed axis, be equipped with excircle image device 2 at the outer periphery of roller 10, excircle image device 2 locates the top of roller rotary conveying device 1 and sets up towards roller rotary conveying device 1 slope, set up terminal surface image device 3 at the upper and lower both ends of roller 10.
Optionally, the control unit 4 is an industrial computer equipped with an image processing module, the industrial computer receives the outer circle image sent by the outer circle imaging device 2 and the end face image sent by the end face imaging device 3, the image processing module analyzes the outer circle image and the end face image to determine whether the roller 10 has a surface defect and the type of the surface defect, if no surface defect exists, the industrial computer sends an OK signal, if a surface defect exists, and the industrial computer sends an NG signal. Alternatively, the industrial computer may count the OK signal, the NG signal, and the number and duty cycle of the surface defects, providing an optimized direction for the machining of the roller 10.
Compared with the prior art, the roller surface defect detection system has the advantages that the parallel rollers with the axes and the rotating shaft of the roller rotating and conveying device are placed on the roller rotating and conveying device, so that the rollers rotate around the axes of the roller rotating and conveying device, namely the 360-degree unfolding of the rotating shaft of the roller rotating and conveying device is realized; by arranging the excircle imaging device above the roller rotary conveying device, 360-degree excircle images of the roller can be acquired in the process that the roller rotates around the rotating shaft of the roller rotary conveying device, and meanwhile, end face imaging devices are arranged on the upper side and the lower side of the roller rotary conveying device, namely the two ends of the roller, and are used for acquiring end face images on the two sides of the roller; the control unit receives the excircle image sent by the excircle imaging device and the end face image sent by the end face imaging device, acquires the type of the roller surface defect through image comparison analysis, counts, outputs an OK signal or an NG signal, and the sorting device receives the OK signal or the NG signal sent by the control unit and completes sorting and conveying of the roller according to the received signals; according to the roller surface defect detection system, the roller is rotated and unfolded through the roller rotary conveying device, 360-degree excircle images and two-side end face images of the roller can be obtained in the roller rotating process through the excircle imaging device and the end face imaging device which are arranged above and below the roller rotary conveying device, the types of roller surface defects are obtained after image processing and contrast analysis through the control unit, OK signals or NG signals are sent out, the signals are received by the sorting device for sorting, the images completely cover the outer surface of the roller, the omission ratio of the roller is greatly reduced, and the sorting efficiency is greatly improved through automatic sorting and multi-stage sorting.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 1, 2 and 5, a roller rotary conveying device 1 is a turntable conveying mechanism, the turntable conveying mechanism comprises a turntable 11 for placing a roller 10 with an axis parallel to a rotating shaft of the turntable, a driving unit 12 for driving the turntable 11 to rotate, and an encoder 13 arranged at an output shaft end of the driving unit 12, the turntable 11 is made of transparent materials, and the roller 10 is vertically placed on the turntable 11 and rotates along with the turntable 11; the encoder 13 is electrically connected to the control unit 4 for transmitting the rotation angle of the drive unit 12 to the control unit 4, and the control unit 4 is electrically connected to the drive unit 12.
Optionally, the turntable 11 is a glass part, the driving unit 12 is located below the turntable 11, the driving unit 12 is fixedly installed on the frame 7, the turntable 11 is driven to rotate by a gear reduction device, the encoder 13 arranged on the driving unit 12 is electrically connected with the control unit 4 and is used for feeding back the rotation number of the driving unit 12 to the control unit 4, and the rotation speed ratio of the driving unit 12 and the turntable 11 is known and determined, so that the rotation angle of the turntable 11 can be obtained according to the numerical value of the encoder 13. Alternatively, the driving unit 12 is a servo motor, and precise control of the rotation angle of the turntable 11 can be achieved. The setting of transparent carousel has realized the rotatory expansion of roller, locates the terminal surface image that the terminal surface image device of carousel upper and lower both sides can directly acquire the roller, in practical application, and the control unit receives the signal of encoder, triggers terminal surface image device and excircle image device at fixed rotation angle and shoots, acquires clear complete roller terminal surface image and excircle image.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 1 to 4, an excircle imaging device 2 comprises an imaging unit 21 for taking a picture to obtain an excircle image of a roller 10, a supporting disc 22 for installing the imaging unit 21, and a positioning rod 23 arranged on the supporting disc 22 and used for installing the imaging unit 21, wherein a plurality of imaging units 21 are arranged at an included angle with a turntable 11, the plurality of imaging units 21 are arranged at intervals by taking a rotating shaft of the turntable 11 as a rotating shaft, and the interval angle between two adjacent imaging units 21 is the same; the supporting disc 22 is arranged above the turntable 11 in parallel, the length of the positioning rod 23 along the radial direction of the turntable 11 is adjustable, and the end part of the positioning rod 23 is provided with a mounting part 24 which is arranged at an included angle with the turntable 11.
Optionally, the turntable 11 is sleeved on the circumference of the mounting seat 9 provided on the frame 7, the supporting disc 22 is fixed on the mounting seat 9, the supporting disc 22 is coaxial with the turntable 11, the positioning rod 23 is parallel to the turntable 11, and the length of the positioning rod 23 along the radial direction of the turntable 11 is adjustable, so that the distance between the mounting part 24 at the end of the positioning rod 23 and the axis of the turntable 11 can be larger than the radius of the turntable 11 or smaller than the radius of the turntable 11, that is, the mounting part 24 can be located on the outer side of the turntable 11 or on the inner side of the turntable 11. The design of the positioning rod 23 enables the camera unit 21 to face the inner side of the outer circle of the roller 10 and also face the outer side of the outer circle of the roller 10, wherein the outer side is one side of the outer circle of the roller 10 away from the rotating shaft of the turntable, the inner side is one side of the roller 10 close to the rotating shaft of the turntable, a plurality of camera units 21 are arranged, the shooting angle and the shooting range of each camera unit 21 are fixed, and the outer circle images shot by the camera units are spliced to obtain a 360-degree outer circle image of the roller 10.
Optionally, the camera unit 21 is the high-speed CCD (charge coupled device) camera, and camera unit 21 has a plurality ofly, and the excircle image concatenation of shooting through a plurality of camera units 21 can acquire the 360 images of roller, can not produce and leak and examine, can adjust the distance of camera unit and roller excircle through the locating lever in the practical application, carries out focusing processing, is applicable to the roller of different specifications.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 4, the image capturing unit 21 includes at least one outer image capturing unit 211 and at least one inner image capturing unit 212, where the outer image capturing unit 211 is disposed on the outer side of the turntable 11 and forms an included angle with the turntable 11, and is used for capturing one side of the outer circle of the roller 10 away from the rotating shaft of the turntable; the inner image pick-up unit 212 is disposed at the outer side of the turntable 11 and forms an included angle with the turntable 11, and is used for picking up images of the other side of the outer circle of the roller 10, which is close to the rotating shaft of the turntable.
Alternatively, the outside image pickup unit 211 is arranged first, and then the inside image pickup unit 212 is arranged in the rotation direction of the turntable 11. The angle of separation between the imaging units 21 is determined by the resolution of the CCD camera, the target surface size, and the rotational speed of the turntable 11, as is known. Alternatively, there are three outside imaging units 211, two inside imaging units 212, and a mounting portion 24 for mounting the outside imaging unit 211 is inclined inwardly toward the roller 10, and a mounting portion for mounting the inside imaging unit 212 is inclined outwardly toward the roller 10. According to the application requirements, the shooting angle of each shooting unit is calculated, so that non-overlapping shooting of the outer circle of the roller is realized, namely, the outer circle image acquired by each shooting unit is a unique partial outer circle image of the roller, the image analysis processing time of the control unit is shortened, the number of the shooting units is saved to the greatest extent, and the cost is reduced.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 3 to 5, the end surface imaging device 3 includes a first end image capturing unit 31 for capturing an upper end surface of the roller 10, a second end image capturing unit 32 for capturing a lower end surface of the roller 10, and a position sensor 33 for detecting a position of the roller 10, the first end image capturing unit 31 is disposed above the roller rotary conveyor 1, the second end image capturing unit 32 is disposed below the roller rotary conveyor 1, the first end image capturing unit 31, the second end image capturing unit 32 are collinear with an axis of the roller 10, and the position sensor 33 is electrically connected with the control unit 4 for triggering the first end image capturing unit 31 and the second end image capturing unit 32 to capture images.
Alternatively, the first end camera unit 31 and the second end camera unit are both high speed CCD (charge coupled device) cameras, the first end camera unit 31 and the second end camera unit 32 are collinear and parallel to the axis of the roller 10, the first end camera unit 31 is mounted on the support plate 22, and the second end camera unit is fixed on the frame 7. The first end camera unit 31 and the second end camera unit 32 are triggered by the position sensor 33 to take a picture, the position sensor 33 can be a photoelectric sensor or an optical fiber sensor, the position sensor 33 is arranged at the entrance of the roller 10 into the turntable 11, the distance between the first end camera unit 31 and the position sensor 33 is known and determined along the rotation direction of the roller 10, optionally, the large end of the tapered roller is placed downwards, the small end of the tapered roller is placed upwards, and the placement is more stable. In practical application, the position sensor 33 can be directly electrically connected with the first end shooting unit 31 and the second end shooting unit 32, and directly triggers the first end shooting unit 31 and the second end shooting unit 32 to shoot, and the shooting time and the position are more accurate due to hard triggering, so that the virtual focus is not easy to occur. In this scheme, first end camera shooting unit and second end camera shooting unit trigger by position sensor simultaneously and shoot, carry out terminal surface image's processing and defect identification by the image processing software on the industrial computer, accomplish the defect detection of roller terminal surface, detection efficiency is high.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 1 to 3, a sorting device 6 includes an end surface NG sorting mechanism 61, an outer circle NG sorting mechanism 62, and a qualified product sorting mechanism 63, the end surface NG sorting mechanism 61 being used for sorting out a roller 10 with a defect on an end surface from a roller rotary conveying device 1; the outer circle NG sorting mechanism 62 is used for sorting out the rollers 10 with defects on the outer circle from the roller rotary conveyor 1, and the qualified product sorting mechanism 63 is used for sorting out the qualified rollers from the roller rotary conveyor 1.
Alternatively, sorting device 6 receives the NG signal or OK signal sent by control unit 4, sorting rollers 10 continuously conveyed on turntable 11. It should be appreciated that other functional sorting mechanisms may be provided depending on the requirements of roller surface defect detection, including but not limited to crack defect sorting mechanisms, pit defect sorting mechanisms, and the like. In the scheme, the end face NG sorting mechanism, the outer circle NG sorting mechanism and the qualified product sorting mechanism are arranged to distinguish according to the defect positions of the rollers, so that the sorting precision is improved, and meanwhile, the control unit counts the defect types and quantity, so that the follow-up process improvement is facilitated.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 1, 3 and 5, the end surface NG sorting mechanism 61 includes an end surface NG sorting frame 611 for receiving the roller 10 with a defect on the end surface, a first blowing mechanism 612, the first blowing mechanism 612 being used for blowing the roller 10 from the roller rotary conveying device 1 to the end surface NG sorting frame 611, the first blowing mechanism 612 being electrically connected to the control unit 4; the outer circle NG sorting mechanism 62 comprises an outer circle NG sorting frame 621 for receiving the roller 10 with the defect on the outer circle, and a second blowing mechanism 622, wherein the second blowing mechanism 622 is used for blowing the roller 10 from the roller rotary conveying device 1 to the outer circle NG sorting frame 621, and the second blowing mechanism 622 is electrically connected with the control unit 4; the acceptable product sorting mechanism 63 includes an acceptable product sorting frame 631 for receiving a roller whose detection signal is OK by the control unit 4, a third air blowing mechanism 632, the third air blowing mechanism 632 being for blowing rollers from the roller rotary conveyance device 1 to the acceptable product sorting frame 631, the third air blowing mechanism 632 being electrically connected to the control unit 4.
Optionally, the first air blowing mechanism 612, the second air blowing mechanism 622 and the third air blowing mechanism 632 are all arranged on the mounting seat 9, the first air blowing mechanism 612, the second air blowing mechanism 622 and the third air blowing mechanism 632 are all electrically connected with the control unit 4, the first air blowing mechanism 612, the second air blowing mechanism 622 blows the roller 10 off the turntable 11 when receiving the signal of the control unit 4 as an NG signal, and the roller falls into each sorting frame through the conveying device or directly; when the received signal sent from the control unit 4 is an OK signal, the first air blowing mechanism 612, the second air blowing mechanism 622, and the third air blowing mechanism 632 blow air to convey the roller 10 to the acceptable product sorting frame 631. Optionally, a baffle 8 for placing the roller to drop is arranged around the turntable 11, and openings for the roller 10 to pass through are arranged on the baffle 8 corresponding to the first air blowing mechanism 612, the second air blowing mechanism 622 and the third air blowing mechanism 632. In this scheme simple structure can not cause secondary damage to the roller, and can set up sorting mechanism's position according to the demand, application scope is wide.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the present invention, referring to fig. 1 to 3, the end face imaging device 3, the end face NG sorting mechanism 61, the outer circle imaging device 2, the outer circle NG sorting mechanism 62, and the conforming product sorting mechanism 63 are arranged in this order along the rotation direction of the roller rotation conveying device 1.
In practical application, the roller 10 enters the turntable 11, the position sensor 33 is triggered, the first end shooting unit 31 and the second end shooting unit 32 shoot, the end face image is acquired, the first end face imaging device 31 and the second end face imaging device 32 are coaxial, the axis is parallel to the axis of the turntable 11, then the roller 10 is blown down into the end face NG sorting frame 611 by the first blowing mechanism 612 through the end face NG sorting mechanism 61, if the signal of the control unit 4 received by the end face NG sorting mechanism 61 is NG, and the control unit 4 counts and records the surface defect types; if the signal of the control unit 4 received by the end surface NG sorting mechanism 61 is OK, the roller 10 continues to rotate along with the turntable 11, the outer side camera unit 211 and the inner side camera unit 212 acquire the outer circle image of the roller 10 respectively, the control unit 4 performs stitching to acquire the complete image of the outer circle of the roller 10 and performs analysis processing, wherein the photographing of the outer side camera unit 211 and the inner side camera unit 212 is triggered by the encoder 13, alternatively, the encoder 13 can be connected with the control unit 4 and also can be directly electrically connected with the camera unit 21 to perform hard triggering, then the roller 10 passes through the outer circle NG sorting mechanism 62, if the signal of the control unit 4 received by the outer circle NG sorting mechanism 62 is NG, the second blowing mechanism 622 blows the roller 10 down into the outer circle NG sorting frame 621, and the control unit 4 performs statistics and records the surface defect type; if the signal of the control unit 4 received by the external ring NG sorting mechanism 62 is OK, the roller 10 continues to rotate along with the turntable 11, and after reaching the qualified product sorting mechanism 63, the third blowing mechanism 632 blows the roller 10 into the qualified product sorting frame 631, so as to complete surface defect detection and sorting of one roller 10. It should be understood that the outer circle imaging unit 2 and the end face imaging device 3 can take a photograph at a time, and can acquire images of a plurality of rollers at the same time, and as the processing speed of the control unit is far greater than the rotating speed of the turntable, the images of a plurality of rollers can be acquired at the same time and analyzed and processed by the control unit, and the sorting of the rollers is not affected. In the scheme, the roller is subjected to surface defect, sorting is performed immediately, subsequent analysis and comparison are not needed, analysis time of a control unit is saved, multistage sorting of the roller is realized, an imaging unit photographs once, images of a plurality of rollers can be acquired, and sorting efficiency is high.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detecting system provided by the present invention, referring to fig. 2 and 3, the roller surface defect detecting system further includes a feeding device 5 for vertically conveying the roller 10 to the turntable 11, where an upper surface of the feeding device 5 is flush with an upper surface of the turntable 11.
Optionally, the feeding device 5 is fixedly installed on the frame 7, and the feeding device 5 is used for sequentially outputting scattered rollers 10 and realizing vertical conveying of the rollers 10 in multiple directions to the turntable 11. According to the scheme, automatic feeding of the roller is realized, the feeding device 5 is integrally arranged on the frame 7, integrated design of equipment is realized, in practical application, the roller to be detected is only required to be input and output in batches by the feeding device 5, full-flow automatic detection of the roller is realized, and the detection efficiency is greatly improved.
As a specific embodiment of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 2 and 3, the feeding device 5 includes a vibration feeder 51 for realizing automatic feeding of the roller 10, and a conveyor belt 52 provided at an output end of the vibration feeder 51, the conveyor belt 52 is used for vertically and alternately conveying the roller 10 to the turntable 11, the roller 10 is parallel to a rotating shaft of the turntable 11, the conveyor belt 52 is tangential to the turntable 11, and a linear speed of the conveyor belt 52 is adapted to a linear speed of an edge of the turntable 11.
Optionally, a gap is formed on the frame 7, and the vibration feeder 51 and the turntable 11 are respectively located at two sides of the frame 7 and are not directly and rigidly connected, so that the image definition of the vibration image end face imaging device 3 and the outer circle forming device 2 of the vibration feeder 51 is avoided. The conveying frequency and the conveying interval of the rollers 10 can be adjusted through the conveying belt 52, the conveying belt 52 is tangential to the turntable 11, and the linear speed of the conveying belt 52 at the tangential point position is the same as the linear speed of the turntable 11, so that the rollers 10 can be smoothly transited from the conveying belt 52 to the turntable 11. Alternatively, the control unit 4 is electrically connected to a driving motor of the conveyor belt 52, and the conveying speed of the conveyor belt 52 can be adjusted. In this scheme, through the design of conveyer belt can adjust the direction of delivery of roller as required for the smooth transition of roller to carousel.
As a specific implementation manner of the roller surface defect detection system provided by the invention, referring to fig. 2, 3 and 5, a photoelectric sensor 53 for counting is arranged at the tail end of the conveying belt 52, and the photoelectric sensor 53 is electrically connected with the control unit 4 and is used for counting rollers, and double counting is performed through hardware counting and software counting of the control unit 4, so that no detection omission condition is ensured in the running process of equipment.
