When the potato cleaning machine works, firstly potatoes to be processed enter the cleaning ball 3 through the feeding hopper 4, then the external high-pressure water pump starts to work, the external high-pressure water pump pumps cleaning water in an external water source to uniformly spray water to the potatoes through the two symmetrically-arranged spray heads 6, meanwhile, the rotating motor 52 on the rotating cleaning mechanism 5 starts to work, the rotating motor 52 drives the rotating shaft 53 to rotate in the cleaning ball 3, the rotating shaft 53 drives the cleaning barrel 54 to rotate, the surface of the potatoes is quickly cleaned through the rapidly-rotating cleaning barrel 54, silt generated by cleaning the potatoes enters the sand collecting box 9 through the sand outlet hole to be collected, after the potatoes are cleaned, the electromagnetic valve 13 controls the water collecting pipe 12 to be in an open state, muddy water generated by cleaning enters the water collecting pipe 12 after being converged through the water pipe joint 11 through the first water outlet pipe 7 and the second water outlet pipe 10, the muddy water flowing out of the water collecting pipe 12 enters the water collecting tank 14 for collection, when the cleaning muddy water is completely drained, the discharge valve 15 controls the discharge pipe 16 to be in an open state, the potatoes positioned at the bottom of the cleaning ball 3 can automatically slide into the discharge pipe 16 by virtue of the inclined surface of the guide plate 32, when the potatoes fall to the operating platform 18 through the discharge pipe 16, the two hydraulic cylinders 192 on the slicing mechanism 19 start to work, the two hydraulic cylinders 192 drive the knife board 194 to move, the knife board 194 transversely slices the potatoes falling from the discharge pipe 16 at one time by utilizing the blades 195 uniformly arranged up and down, the produced potato chips enter the material collecting tank 23 through the chip outlet pipe 22 for collection, manual operation is not needed, the automation degree is high, and the problems of complex operation, low cleaning speed, low slicing speed, long processing time, low working efficiency and the like existing potato cleaning slice distribution completion process are solved, the purpose is achieved.

the rotary cleaning mechanism (5) comprises a motor frame (51) welded at the upper end of the cleaning ball (3), a rotary motor (52) is mounted on the inner wall of the motor frame (51) through a motor base, a rotary shaft (53) is mounted on an output shaft of the rotary motor (52) through a coupler, the rotary shaft (53) is connected with the cleaning ball (3) through a bearing, and a cleaning cylinder (54) is uniformly mounted on the outer wall of the rotary shaft (53);
and cleaning columns (541) made of flexible materials are uniformly arranged on the outer wall of the cleaning barrel (54) from top to bottom along the central axis.
