The invention solves the problem that the protection device 1 is arranged in a settlement observation point on a high-rise and low-rise building column, the inserting rod 101 is enabled to accommodate the leveling mechanism 103 for protection, the material stop mechanism 2 at the upper end of the wall pasting plate 3 is utilized to stop materials from top to bottom, the semicircular operating plate 1033 on the leveling mechanism 103 is prevented from being damaged, the wall pasting plate 3 is provided with a clamping groove 4 for being jointed with the semicircular operating plate 1033, rainwater is prevented from permeating into the inserting rod 101, the structural design is reasonable, the operation is simple, the manufacturing cost is low, the mass production is suitable, and the settlement observation mark can be effectively protected.
