Background
Chilo suppersalis Walker (Chilo suppersalis Walker) is an important lepidopteran pest in rice fields, and occurs 2-3 generations per year on average in Chinese rice areas, but may occur as many as 5 generations in south rice areas. The first generation chilo suppressalis generally occurs at the end of 5 months or early 6 months, and the second generation chilo suppressalis occurs at the end of 7 months and early 8 months. In southern rice regions in China, almost every growth stage of rice is harmed by chilo suppressalis, and particularly, the damage is serious in the tillering stage and heading stage. Chilo suppressalis damage can lead to "heartburn" and "white head" in rice plants. The chilo suppressalis is harmful, causing huge economic losses each year. Traditionally, the control of chilo suppressalis relies mainly on chemical pesticides. The large application of pesticides presents numerous environmental and social problems. With the enhancement of awareness of people on ecology, environment and food safety and the reduction of the application amount of chemical pesticides, the development of a 'green pest control' strategy becomes a strategic target of the development of the current plant protection subject.
Plant-derived attractants or repellents belong to a broad class of semiochemicals and are composed of a single or multiple plant volatiles or derivatives thereof. Comparison results
Figure 1 is a bar graph showing the repellency of individual repellents against female chilo suppressalis insects for each example of the invention and blank control. It can be seen visually that the repellent of example 10, which uses 2-nonanone as the effective component, has a greater repellent effect than the repellents of the other single-effect components (i.e., the repellents of examples 1-9). The repellent of example 12 containing ten efficacy components was much stronger in repellent effect than the efficacy components of the maximum examples 2 to 5. The repellent with multiple components releases relatively less single component to the natural environment, is beneficial to preventing the environmental hazard caused by the superposition of the release amount of certain components, and has better environmental friendliness.
The results clearly show that the 2-nonanone provided by the invention can be used as a component of the striped rice borer female repellent, and the striped rice borer female repellent can be used for repelling striped rice borers, correspondingly can achieve the effect of repelling eggs of the striped rice borers, provides a new way for environment-friendly and efficient prevention and control of striped rice borers harmful to rice, has important significance for prevention and control of striped rice borers harmful to rice in China, is beneficial to pollution-free production of rice, and has wide economic, social and ecological benefits.
Because chilo suppressalis mainly damages rice, the prevention and treatment of chilo suppressalis damage is taken as an example in the text, but it is easy to understand that the invention can also be applied to the prevention and treatment of chilo suppressalis damage.
