Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of feed additives, and particularly relates to a Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for geese and a preparation method thereof.
Background
With the development of animal nutrition and feed science, the safety of human food sources is more concerned while the human health is more concerned, in particular to the influence of feed additives on the health of animals. In the past, antibiotics play a positive promoting role in the rapid development of animal husbandry, particularly the feed industry, and especially play a role in preventing and treating livestock and poultry diseases and promoting growth. However, with the development of animal science, it has been found that while antibiotics are used as feed additives to bring about great economic benefits, disadvantages such as cancers, deformities, drug resistance and certain poisoning phenomena affecting human health are associated with the residues of antibiotics, hormones and other synthetic drugs in meat, eggs and milk. Therefore, many countries adopt legislative measures to prohibit the abuse of antibiotics. With the increasing demand for banning antibiotics, there is an urgent need to develop safe and effective green feed additives to replace antibiotics to produce green healthy animal food.
The Chinese herbal medicine is a product of Chinese specific traditional medicine theory and practice, has rich resources, various types and long history, has double functions of nutrition and medicine, and has the advantages of difficult generation of drug resistance, no residue, small toxic and side effects, comprehensive functions and the like, thereby arousing great attention of livestock husbandry workers. Therefore, the research and development of the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive have important economic and social benefits for developing green animal husbandry, ensuring the health of human beings and promoting the export and earning of animal products.
Although the variety of Chinese herbal medicine additives for poultry geese is more in the market at present, most of the Chinese herbal medicine additives are dozens of kinds, are relatively complex and have higher cost.

1. Materials: formulation 1 (additive prepared in example 1), formulation 2 (additive prepared in example 2), formulation 3 (additive prepared in example 3), formulation 4 (additive prepared in control 1), formulation 5 (additive prepared in control 2), formulation 6 (additive prepared in control 3); the general goose feed (Shen county Xin Linong Biotech Co., Ltd. 592 type) on the market has a feed formula design meeting the national standard; 700 adult geese were selected, half each male and female.
2. The test method comprises the following steps: 700 geese are divided into 7 groups, each group comprises 100 geese, each group comprises half male and female geese, each group is fed with the general goose feed, 5 g of additives are added into each kilogram of general goose feed and all bred in the same goose house in a cage mode, the management modes are consistent, the first 6 groups are named as a formula 1 group (added with a formula 1), a formula 2 group (added with a formula 2), a formula 3 group (added with a formula 3), a formula 4 group (added with a formula 4), a formula 5 group (added with a formula 5) and a formula 6 group (added with a formula 6), the last group is a blank group (without feed additives), the egg laying number, the illness rate and the feed consumption of each group are accurately recorded in the whole period, and the average number of each index is calculated.
3. Results and discussion
(1) The Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for the geese has the influence on the egg laying number of the geese (shown in a table 1).
TABLE 1 influence of Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for goose on egg production number of goose
Group of | Level of addition | Total number of eggs laid per month |
Prescription 1 group | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 350 |
Prescription 2 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 414 |
Prescription 3 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 460 |
Prescription 4 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 205 |
Prescription 5 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 151 |
Prescription 6 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 298 |
Blank group | No feed additive | 106 |
As can be seen from the table 1, the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for geese has the obvious effect of promoting the geese to lay eggs, wherein the effect of the formula 3 is the best, and the proportion effect of each component in the example 3 is better than that of the example 1 and the example 2. In addition, the effect of the first 1-3 groups is better than that of the 4-6 groups, which shows that the final egg laying effect is reduced after the components of the invention are partially removed.
(2) The influence of the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for geese on the incidence of diseases of geese is shown in table 2.
TABLE 2 incidence of disease in geese by Chinese herbal medicine feed additive
Group of | Level of addition | Incidence of illness |
Prescription 1 group | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 16.89% |
Prescription 2 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 13.45% |
Prescription 3 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 9.67% |
Prescription 4 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 19.02% |
Prescription 5 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 24.23% |
Prescription 6 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 22.68% |
Blank group | No feed additive | 28.41% |
As can be seen from Table 1, the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for geese of the invention has the effect of obviously reducing the incidence of diseases of geese, wherein the effect of the formula 3 is the best, and the proportion effect of each component in the example 3 is better than that of the examples 1 and 2. In addition, the disease resistance of the first 1-3 groups of geese is better than that of the first 4-6 groups, which shows that partial elimination of the components of the invention can influence the immunity improvement and disease reduction effects of the geese.
(3) The influence of the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for geese of the invention on the feed consumption of geese (as shown in Table 3).
TABLE 3 influence of Chinese herbal medicine feed additive on feed consumption of geese
Group of | Level of addition | Average material consumption (g) per day |
Prescription 1 group | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 320 |
Prescription 2 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 435 |
Prescription 3 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 498 |
Prescription 4 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 389 |
Prescription 5 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 384 |
Prescription 6 groups | 5 g of the feed is added into each kilogram of the general goose feed | 365 |
Blank group | No feed additive | 302 |
As can be seen from the table 1, the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive for geese has the obvious effects of promoting the appetite and increasing the weight of the geese, wherein the effect of the formula 3 is the best, and the proportion effect of each component in the example 3 is better than that of the examples 1 and 2. In addition, the effect of the first 1-3 groups is better than that of the 4-6 groups, which shows that the partial elimination of the components of the invention can influence the food quantity promoting effect of the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive of the invention. In addition, the effect of the formula 6 is obviously lower than that of the formula 4 and the formula 5, which shows that the orange peel and the hawthorn have main effects on the goose appetite promoting effect of the additive.
