Detailed Description
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below. In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a package structure 100 according to an embodiment includes a substrate 110, a package cover 120, and a package glass frit 130.
The substrate 110 is used to support the package cover 120 and the display device formed on the substrate 110. The substrate 110 of the present embodiment is an LTPS glass (Low Temperature Poly-silicon glass), but the material of the substrate 110 is not limited thereto, and may be selected from other materials.
The package cover 120 is disposed opposite to the substrate 110. The package cover 120 is located on one side of the substrate 110, as shown in fig. 2.
The encapsulation frit bar 130 is located between the substrate 110 and the encapsulation cover plate 120, and a plurality of discretely distributed frit blocks 140 are disposed on the periphery of the encapsulation frit bar 130. The two ends of the glass frit 140 are fixed to the substrate 110 and the cover plate 120, respectively, as shown in fig. 2.
Specifically, the encapsulation glass frit 130 is disposed around the periphery of the display device for sealing the display device between the substrate 110 and the encapsulation cover plate 120. The periphery of the sealing glass frit 130 refers to an area reserved for a subsequent cutting, specifically, an area between an outer edge of the sealing glass frit 130 and a cutting line located in the sealing area, wherein the cutting line refers to a screen body cutting line or a notch region cutting line.
The discrete distribution of the plurality of glass gobs 140 means that the plurality of glass gobs 140 are independent from each other, and a certain distance is kept between two adjacent glass gobs 140. The glass frit blocks 140 may be arranged according to a certain rule or may be randomly distributed.
In addition, the glass frit 140 may be deposited on the substrate 110 by using a mask having an opening with the same shape as the glass frit 140, and then the encapsulation cover plate 120 is covered, similar to the laser sealing process of the encapsulation glass frit 130, and after cooling, both ends of the glass frit 140 are adhered to the substrate 110 and the encapsulation cover plate 120, so as to fix the three.
The plurality of glass frit blocks 140 are distributed discretely to block the transmission path of the external force, meanwhile, the glass frit blocks 140 support the substrate 110 and the encapsulation cover plate 120, and the adhesion between the substrate 110 and the encapsulation cover plate 120 is increased, so that the stress of the display screen under the action of the external force is reduced, the strength of the screen body can be improved integrally, and the application is facilitated.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, one end of the substrate 110 is recessed inward to form an open groove 150, and a plurality of glass gobs 140 are distributed around the open groove 150.
The open slot 150 is commonly called "bang" of the full-face screen, and is used for subsequently placing module structures such as a double loudspeaker, a microphone, an ambient light sensor and a front camera. Because the fluting position (notch district) of full face screen adopts special-shaped outward appearance, the chamfer department stress point is more, consequently, the screen body intensity in notch district more needs to obtain guaranteeing. Especially for hard screen products packaged by glass frit (frit), the trace of the frit packaging route of the notch region is greatly changed, and the chamfer position of the notch region is generally a weak point of the screen body strength. In this embodiment, the plurality of glass frit blocks 140 are distributed around the open slot 150, when the notch region of the open slot 150 is acted by an external force, the transmission path of the external force can be blocked by the discrete distribution of the plurality of glass frit blocks 140, and meanwhile, the glass frit blocks 140 support the substrate 110 and the encapsulation cover plate 120, so that the adhesion of the substrate 110 and the encapsulation cover plate 120 is increased, and the screen strength of the notch region can be improved as a whole.
Of course, several frit blocks 140 may be located on the substrate 110 except the other regions of the periphery of the encapsulation frit 130 except the notch region.
Based on the foregoing embodiment, the ratio of the total projected area of the plurality of glass gobs 140 on the substrate 110 to the area of the periphery of the encapsulation glass gob strip 130 is 1:10000 to 1: 5. Since the plurality of glass gobs 140 are distributed discretely, when the ratio of the total projected area of the plurality of glass gobs 140 on the substrate 110 to the area of the peripheral region of the encapsulation glass gob strip 130 is 1:10000 to 1:5, the plurality of glass gobs 140 are distributed sparsely, so that an appropriate distance can be maintained between adjacent glass gobs 140 to sufficiently block the transmission path of the external force.
Preferably, the ratio of the total projected area of the plurality of glass gobs 140 on the substrate 110 to the area of the periphery of the encapsulation glass gob strip 130 is 1:10 to 1: 5. At this time, the distribution density of the plurality of glass frit blocks 140 is moderate, which is beneficial to completely blocking the transmission path of the external force.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the glass gob 140 has a cross-sectional area of 25 μm along a plane parallel to the surface of the substrate 1102~40000μm2. This is beneficial to providing a good supporting function for the substrate 110 and the package cover 120, and at the same time, the adhesion between the substrate 110 and the package cover 120 is relatively large, so as to reduce the stress when the display screen is subjected to an external force。
Preferably, the glass gob 140 has a cross-sectional area of 400 μm along a plane parallel to the surface of the substrate 1102~2500μm2. At this time, the glass frit block 140 has a proper size, which can effectively block the transmission path of the external force and ensure sufficient supporting strength.
More preferably, the glass gob 140 has a cross-sectional area of 800 μm along a plane parallel to the surface of the substrate 1102~1200μm2. At this time, the glass frit block 140 can effectively block a transmission path of an external force and ensure an optimal effect of sufficient support strength.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the glass gob 140 is of a pillar type. The inside of the pillar-type glass gob 140 may be solid or may be an annular pillar. The pillar-shaped glass frit 140 has a good supporting effect on the substrate 110 and the cover plate 120, and can sufficiently reduce the stress when the display screen is subjected to an external force.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the glass gob 140 has a circular, rectangular or triangular cross-sectional shape along a plane parallel to the surface of the substrate 110. The cross-sectional shape of the glass gob 140 in the above embodiment is circular. Of course, the cross-sectional shape of the frit 140 along the surface parallel to the substrate 110 is not limited thereto, and may have other polygonal shapes, or other irregular shapes.
Based on the foregoing embodiment, a plurality of glass frits 140 are uniformly distributed on the periphery of the encapsulation frit 130. This is beneficial to provide uniform support for the substrate 110 and the cover plate 120, so as to better relieve the stress when the display screen is subjected to external force.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, the width of the region where the periphery of the sealing glass frit 130 is located is greater than 5 μm. That is, the width of the cutting margin is greater than 5 μm. This provides sufficient space for the distribution of the plurality of frit blocks 140 to substantially ensure that the plurality of frit blocks 140 are distributed discretely in the peripheral region of the encapsulation frit inclusive strip 130.
In addition, the distribution pattern of the plurality of glass gobs 140 is not limited thereto. Other discrete distributions are also possible.
Referring to fig. 3, a package structure 200 according to another embodiment of the invention includes a package glass frit strip 230 and a plurality of glass frit blocks 240 located at the periphery of the package glass frit strip 230. Wherein a plurality of frit blocks 240 are discretely distributed.
In the package structure 200 of the present embodiment, the cross-sectional shapes of the plurality of glass gobs 240 are rectangular. A plurality of frit blocks 240 are randomly distributed.
In other embodiments, the cross-sectional shape of the plurality of glass gobs 240 may be a mixture of two or more types.
By applying the packaging structure of the technical scheme of the invention, when the display screen is acted by external force, on one hand, the glass material block plays a supporting role on the substrate and the packaging cover plate and increases the adhesion between the substrate and the packaging cover plate because the two ends of the glass material block are respectively fixed on the substrate and the packaging cover plate, thereby relieving the stress when the display screen is acted by external force; on the other hand, the transmission path of the external force can be blocked due to the discrete distribution of the plurality of glass blocks. The whole can improve the strength of the screen body and is beneficial to application.
In addition, the display screen of an embodiment of the invention includes the package structure.
When the display screen is subjected to the external force, on one hand, the two ends of the glass material block are respectively fixed on the substrate and the packaging cover plate, so that the glass material block plays a supporting role on the substrate and the packaging cover plate, and the adhesion between the substrate and the packaging cover plate is increased, so that the stress of the display screen under the external force can be relieved; on the other hand, the transmission path of the external force can be blocked due to the discrete distribution of the plurality of glass blocks. The whole can improve the strength of the screen body and is beneficial to application.
The display device of one embodiment of the invention comprises the display screen.
When the display device is acted by external force, on one hand, the two ends of the glass material block are respectively fixed on the substrate and the packaging cover plate, so that the glass material block plays a supporting role on the substrate and the packaging cover plate, and the adhesion between the substrate and the packaging cover plate is increased, thereby relieving the stress when the display screen is acted by the external force; on the other hand, the transmission path of the external force can be blocked due to the discrete distribution of the plurality of glass blocks. The whole can improve the strength of the screen body and is beneficial to application.
The technical features of the embodiments described above may be arbitrarily combined, and for the sake of brevity, all possible combinations of the technical features in the embodiments described above are not described, but should be considered as being within the scope of the present specification as long as there is no contradiction between the combinations of the technical features.
