Abstract

本发明揭示一种电连接器,其包括端子座及第一壳体。所述端子座包括基座、自所述基座延伸的对接舌板及端子。所述第一壳体包括相对的第一侧壁、第二侧壁及连接所述第一、第二侧壁的两端壁,所述第一壳体包围所述对接舌板而在两者之间形成对接腔,所述第一壳体由金属板弯折形成而在其第二侧壁处具有结合缝。所述电连接器还包括密封层,所述密封层粘附在所述第二侧壁而将所述结合缝密封,从而实现电连接器的防水功能。

【技术领域】
本发明有关一种电连接器。
【背景技术】
台湾发明专利公告第TWI552455B号揭示了一种防水连接器,其包括若干接触件、金属罩壳、绝缘器壳及无接缝的防水构件。所述防水构件嵌入于器壳外周的环状防水构件用沟。所述金属罩壳包括第一侧壁、第二侧壁及连接所述第一侧壁与所述第二侧壁的两端壁。所述第一壳体由金属板弯折形成而在其第二侧壁处具有结合缝,水会从结合缝处渗入连接器内部,从而影响连接器的工作能力。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题是:提供一种具有防水功能的电连接器。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用如下技术方案:
一种电连接器,其包括端子座及第一壳体,所述端子座包括基座、自所述基座延伸的对接舌板及端子,所述第一壳体包括相对的第一侧壁、第二侧壁及连接所述第一、第二侧壁的两端壁,所述第一壳体包围所述对接舌板而在两者之间形成对接腔,所述第一壳体由金属板弯折形成而在其第二侧壁处具有结合缝,所述电连接器还包括密封层,所述密封层粘附在所述第二侧壁而将所述结合缝密封。
相对于现有技术,本发明电连接器还包括密封层,所述密封层将第一壳体的结合缝密封,从而实现电连接器的防水功能。

【具体实施方式】
如下具体实施方式将结合上述附图进一步说明本发明。
参阅图1至图4,本发明公开了一种电连接器100,其可以安装于电路板(未图示)。所述电连接器100包括端子座10、第一壳体20及第二壳体30。所述端子座10包括基座11及自所述基座11延伸的对接舌板12。所述第一壳体20包围所述对接舌板12而在两者之间形成对接腔13。所述第二壳体30安装于所述第一壳体20的外侧。所述第二壳体30上设有贯穿孔34,通过所述贯穿孔34向所述电连接器100内注入塑胶,待冷却后形成塑胶块50用以防水。
参阅图5至图6,所述端子座10包括第一端子模组14、第二端子模组15及设置在所述第一端子模组14与所述第二端子模组15之间的遮蔽板16,所述遮蔽板16具有锁扣侧缘161。所述第一端子模组14包括第一绝缘体141及埋设于所述第一绝缘体141的若干第一导电端子144。所述第一绝缘体141包括第一舌板142及自所述第一舌板142延伸的第一基部143。所述第二端子模组15包括第二绝缘体151及埋设于所述第二绝缘体151的若干第二导电端子154。所述第二绝缘体包括第二舌板152及自所述第二舌板152延伸的第二基部153。所述第一、第二端子模组14,15及遮蔽板16组装在一起后再在第一、第二舌板142,152及第一、第二基部143,153的部分外侧注塑成型有外包覆部17而构成完整的上述对接舌板12。
所述第一壳体20包括相对的第一侧壁21、第二侧壁22及连接所述第一、第二侧壁21,22的两端壁23。所述第一壳体20由金属板弯折形成而在其第二侧壁22处具有结合缝225。所述电连接器还包括热熔胶40。所述热熔胶40粘附在所述第二侧壁22而将所述结合缝225密封,所述热熔胶40覆盖整个所述第二侧壁22。所述第二侧壁22设有扣持孔221,所述扣持孔221的内缘向所述对接腔13内延伸有弹性臂222,所述热熔胶40设有与所述扣持孔221对齐的通孔41。所述第二侧壁22设有凹孔223,所述凹孔223内具有向内固定在所述基座11的凸出部224,所述热熔胶40覆盖所述凹孔223。所述第一侧壁21具有向所述对接腔13内凸伸的肋条211,所述肋条211系所述第一侧壁21向内冲压而形成且与所述第一侧壁21之间无任何缝隙,所述肋条211沿前后方向延伸。
所述第二壳体30借由所述热熔胶40粘附在所述第二侧壁22。所述第二壳体30包括水平部31及自所述水平部31两侧向上弯折的竖直部32,所述水平部31借由所述热熔胶40粘附在所述第二侧壁22并覆盖所述扣持孔221及所述凹孔223,所述竖直部32弯折出电路板焊接脚33。
综上所述,以上仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已,不应以此限制本发明的范围,即凡是依本发明权利要求书及说明书内容所作的简单的等效变化与修饰,皆应仍属本发明专利涵盖的范围内。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,其包括端子座及第一壳体,所述端子座包括基座、自所述基座延伸的对接舌板及端子,所述第一壳体包括相对的第一侧壁、第二侧壁及连接所述第一、第二侧壁的两端壁,所述第一壳体包围所述对接舌板而在两者之间形成对接腔,所述第一壳体由金属板弯折形成而在其第二侧壁处具有结合缝,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括密封层,所述密封层粘附在所述第二侧壁而将所述结合缝密封。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述密封层由热熔胶形成。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器包括第二壳体,所述第二壳体借由所述热熔胶粘附在所述第二侧壁。
4.如权利要求2或3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二侧壁设有扣持孔,所述扣持孔的内缘向所述对接腔内延伸有弹性臂,所述热熔胶设有与所述扣持孔对齐的通孔。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二侧壁设有凹孔,所述凹孔内具有向内固定在所述基座的凸出部,所述热熔胶覆盖所述凹孔。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二壳体包括水平部及自所述水平部两侧向上弯折的竖直部,所述水平部借由所述热熔胶粘附在第二侧壁并覆盖所述扣持孔及所述凹孔,所述竖直部弯折出电路板焊接脚。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子座包括第一端子模组与第二端子模组以及包覆在第一、第二端子模块外的外包覆部,所述外包覆部包覆所述第一端子模组与所述第二端子模组的前端形成所述对接舌板。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括遮蔽板,所述遮蔽板设置在所述第一端子模组与所述第二端子模组之间且具有锁扣侧缘。
9.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述密封层覆盖整个所述第二侧壁。
10.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一侧壁具有向所述对接腔内凸伸的肋条,所述肋条自所述第一侧壁向内冲压而形成且与所述第一侧壁之间无任何缝隙,所述肋条沿前后方向延伸。
