轮胎密封胶层
技术领域
本发明涉及轮胎密封胶层(sealant layer)的制备方法和包括所述密封胶层的轮胎。
背景技术
迄今已知通常与气体接触地配置在轮胎的内腔中或者由保护橡胶或聚合物层覆盖的粘性密封胶层在轮胎中的用途。特别地,密封胶层通常配置在胎面胶条区域中的内腔表面的中央区域上。
密封胶层的目的是围绕并且粘着已经刺入胎面的物体,由此通过瞬间的“密封”来防止气体从轮胎泄露。另外,如果刺入的物体从胎面移出,则密封胶层的材料将会配置为占据由该物体留下的孔而将该孔密封。
对轮胎的部分研究集中在改善密封胶层的效用,特别关注其流变学特性。事实上,密封胶层的粘度必须同时保证如上所述对刺入的物体和对任何孔的密封作用以及不论在轮胎的静态或动态条件下其在内腔中的稳定性。在这点上,至关重要的是,新的密封胶层的创新能够在轮胎静止和轮胎旋转的两种情况下都保证高的效用。事实上,现有技术的缺陷之一在于生产出的是其效果依赖于轮胎的旋转的密封胶层。
本发明的发明人已经设计了一种轮胎密封胶层的制造方法,其性能在轮胎静止和轮胎旋转的两种情况下都优于现有技术的密封胶层的性能。
对于本发明的正确评价,应该考虑的是,橡胶制品的大规模工业生产必然引起源于在它们的工作寿命末期的废弃处理的环境问题,例如由于在填埋场中废胎的累积导致的污染。
该问题的可能的解决方案之一可以是回收废胎以生产新的轮胎。大多数这些解决方案必需使用由术语粒状橡胶(crumb rubber)定义的胶粒(granular)形式的回收橡胶。
这里和下文中,借由“粒状橡胶”,我们是指源于废胎的具有颗粒一致性(granularconsistency)的回收橡胶。
发明内容
本发明的主题是提供以下轮胎密封胶层用配混料的制造方法;所述方法的特征在于以下事实:其包括溶胀步骤,其中将粒状橡胶浸渍在加工油中从而获得由于吸收加工油而溶胀的粒状橡胶,所述加工油为选自属于石蜡加工油、环烷烃加工油或天然加工油的这些族的加工油;和随后的混合步骤,期间所述溶胀的粒状橡胶与至少一种由基本上饱和的聚合物组成的聚合物基料混合。
这里和下文中,借由“基本上饱和的聚合物”,我们是指用小于15mol%的二烯单体生产的聚合物。
优选地,所述加工油选自TDAE和RAE。
优选地,所述溶胀的粒状橡胶占密封胶层用配混料的全部增强填料的至少5重量%,更优选至少30重量%;所述全部增强填料以在3phr与50phr之间的量存在于配混料中。
优选地,所述溶胀步骤在范围为50~200℃的温度下进行。
优选地,所述粒状橡胶的尺寸的范围为40~200目。
优选地,所述由基本上饱和的聚合物组成的聚合物基料为卤化丁基橡胶和/或丁基橡胶。
本发明的进一步主题是一种密封胶层用配混料,其使用本发明的方法来获得。
本发明的进一步主题是一种密封胶层,其使用上述配混料来获得。
本发明的最后的主题是一种轮胎,其包括上述密封胶层。
具体实施方式
仅仅出于示例性非限制性目的,以下给出一些实施方案的实例。
制造了三种密封胶层用配混料,其中前两种(A和B)是比较例,而第三种(C)是本发明的实施例。
特别地,比较配混料A表示通常用于制造密封胶层的配混料,而比较配混料B与配混料A的不同之处在于:炭黑完全由未用加工油溶胀的粒状橡胶代替。
本发明的配混料C与配混料A的不同之处在于:炭黑完全由根据本发明的方法的用加工油溶胀的粒状橡胶代替。
表I示出三种配混料以phr计的组成。

Br-IIR表示溴化丁基橡胶。
以下描述关于溶胀步骤和混合步骤二者的过程。
–活化步骤(仅用于配混料C)–
将非溶胀的粒状橡胶在130℃的温度下保持浸渍在TDAE油中240min。以此方式,溶胀的粒状橡胶通过吸收该油来获得。
–混合步骤–
将表I中报道的组分混合在一起并且保持在搅拌和100℃的温度下10min。
从如上所述制造的各配混料中,制造密封胶层,然后在刺穿上面施加了该密封胶层的轮胎之后进行压力保持试验。特别地,在轮胎静止和轮胎旋转(20Hz)的两种情况下,进行压力保持试验。
在相同的条件下,对上面施加了用各配混料A-C制造的各密封胶层的轮胎,进行试验。具体地,密封胶层直接挤出在轮胎的内腔的表面上。
轮胎在以相同的内压充气之后经历相同的刺穿条件,接着移除用于刺穿的物体。对于进行试验的各轮胎,评价在刺穿(接着移除物体)24h之后的压力保持。
表II示出以相对于在轮胎静止(静态条件)和轮胎旋转(20Hz)(动态条件)的两种情况下用配混料A获得的结果指数化的形式表示的气体保持评价。该指数值越高,压力保持越好。

从表II的结果可见的,在静态和动态条件二者中,用本发明主题的配混料制造的密封胶层能够保证与用比较配混料制造的密封胶层相比显著更高的压力保持。
特别地,比较配混料B示出的是,不仅是粒状橡胶的存在给予密封胶层更好的效用,还有粒状橡胶必须以由于吸收加工油导致的溶胀形式来使用。
本发明人已经确定的是,溶胀的粒状橡胶起到在密封胶层经历变形例如刺穿作用的部位处释放出加工油的功能。以此方式,加工油的释放局部地改善了密封胶层的粘弹特性,使其改善了密封作用的效用。
换言之,粒状橡胶起到支持局部释放适用于改善密封胶层在刺穿轮胎的情况下的性能的液体的功能。
在该点上,重要的是着重于选择作为用于如上定义地溶胀粒状橡胶且随后释放的液体的加工油。加工油为本发明的必要要素,这是因为其具有例如用作增塑剂、与引入其中的粒状橡胶相互作用、不与聚合物基料反应和在轮胎运转温度下稳定等的特性。
最后,应该强调的是,本发明也提供环境优势,这是因为其必需使用废弃材料(粒状橡胶),不然废弃材料(粒状橡胶)会构成污染源并且会涉及其废弃处理成本。

Claims (10)

1.一种轮胎密封胶层用配混料的制造方法;所述方法的特征在于,所述方法包括:溶胀步骤,期间将粒状橡胶浸渍在加工油中从而获得由于吸收所述加工油而溶胀的粒状橡胶,所述加工油为选自属于石蜡加工油、环烷烃加工油或天然加工油的这些族的加工油;和随后的混合步骤,期间所述溶胀的粒状橡胶与至少一种由基本上饱和的聚合物组成的聚合物基料混合。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述加工油选自TDAE和RAE。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述溶胀的粒状橡胶占密封胶层用配混料的全部增强填料的至少5重量%;所述全部增强填料以范围为3~50phr的量存在于所述配混料中。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述溶胀的粒状橡胶占所述密封胶层用配混料的全部增强填料的至少30重量%。
5.根据权利要求1~4任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述溶胀步骤在范围为50~200℃的温度下进行。
6.根据权利要求1~5任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述粒状橡胶的尺寸的范围为40~200目。
7.根据权利要求1~6任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述由基本上饱和的聚合物组成的聚合物基料为卤化丁基橡胶和/或丁基橡胶。
8.一种轮胎密封胶层用配混料,其使用根据权利要求1~7任一项所述的方法来获得。
9.一种轮胎密封胶层,其使用根据权利要求8所述的配混料来获得。
10.一种轮胎,其包括根据权利要求9所述的密封胶层。
