本发明大体上涉及烷基苯磺酸表面活性剂,更确切地说,用某些胺化合物中和的烷基苯磺酸表面活性剂;和其在洗涤剂配制物中的用途。
背景技术
衣用液体洗涤剂市场中最新的商业创新包括“单位剂量”产品,其中洗涤剂组分放置在水溶性聚合物小袋内。这些单位剂量产品的特征是高活性剂浓度和低含水量(通常小于15%)。为了产生这类高活性配制物,需要表面活性剂分子可以存在于这类紧密空间中而不对配制物稳定性产生不利影响。这些不利影响中的一些包括配制物的粘度增加,和配制物与包覆聚合物(在大多数情况下时聚乙烯醇(PVOH))的相互作用增加,产生不当的凝胶斑点或未分散絮凝物。
目前配制物一般含有一种或多种表面活性剂,通常阴离子和/或非离子表面活性剂或其组合。一种常用类别的阴离子表面活性剂是直链烷基苯磺酸(“HLAS”)。
HLAS的酸基团用各种碱中和以获得功能表面活性剂(在约pH 7左右下)。商业表面活性剂应用中所用的碱的一些常见实例是NaOH(得到LABS-直链烷基苯磺酸钠盐)。然而,在许多领域中缺乏已知的中和的HLAS如LABS。举例来说,这类化合物可以展现上文所指示的缺点,包括当配制在洗涤剂组合物中时不当的高粘度,和/或由与PVOH膜的相互作用所造成的凝胶斑点或未分散絮凝物的形成。

发明内容
我们现在已发现,如本文所描述,烷基苯磺酸可以用某些氨基醇化合物中和,以提供具有有利特性的表面活性剂。有利地,在一些实施例中,本发明的表面活性剂展现与常规表面活性剂如直链烷基苯磺酸、钠盐或单乙醇胺盐相比更低的粘度。与常规直链烷基苯磺酸类表面活性剂不同,所述表面活性剂也与PVOH膜相互作用,并且可以使得单位剂量的洗涤剂配制物有更高的含水量。此外,存在于单位剂量配制物中时,本发明的各种表面活性剂可以在与PVOH溶液相互作用时缓解或降低絮凝物形成。

式I化合物可以易于通过在水和/或其它溶剂中将烷基苯磺酸与式II的氨基醇化合物混合来制备。通常可以在室温下使用例如机械或电磁搅拌器进行混合。额外细节由实例提供。
优选的式I化合物包括:

针对盐,合适的脂肪酸包括但不限于蒸馏的棕榈仁脂肪酸(如PALMERA B1220)。以洗涤剂配制物的总重量计,洗涤剂配制物中的脂肪酸的量可以是4.5到5.5重量百分比。
洗涤剂配制物中可以包括额外表面活性剂。表面活性剂可以是阳离子表面活性剂、阴离子表面活性剂、非离子表面活性剂、脂肪酸盐表面活性剂、两性离子表面活性剂或甜菜碱表面活性剂。优选地,洗涤剂配制物包含至少一种阴离子表面活性剂,优选至少两种。一种或两种阴离子表面活性剂可以是式I的胺中和的阴离子表面活性剂。

洗涤剂配制物可以含有一种或多种非水性溶剂。合适的非水性溶剂包括但不限于丙二醇和甘油。每一种非水性溶剂如丙二醇和甘油的量可以例如是5wt%到20wt%。
洗涤剂配制物可以含有水,但通常量小于20wt%,或者小于15wt%,并且可以是至少1wt%或者至少4wt%。
优选地,洗涤剂配制物的pH是4到11,优选4.5到10,优选4.5到9,优选6到8。如果需要,那么调节配制物的pH的合适碱包括矿物碱,如氢氧化钠和氢氧化钾;氢氧化铵;和有机碱,如单乙醇胺、二乙醇胺或三乙醇胺;或2-二甲基氨基-2-甲基-1-丙醇(DMAMP)。可以使用碱的混合物。如果需要,那么调节配制物的pH的合适酸包括矿物酸,盐酸、磷酸和硫酸;和有机酸,如乙酸。可以使用酸的混合物。可以用碱将配制物调节到更高pH并且随后用酸反滴定到上文所描述的范围。
当用作单位剂量洗涤剂包装时,洗涤剂配制物一般包覆并且密封在聚乙烯醇(PVOH)小袋内。用于形成这类小袋的方法是已知的并且描述于例如WO 2002/060758A1中。小袋中的洗涤剂配制物的量可以取决于所期望包装的大小而改变。量可以例如在3g到35g范围内。
本发明的一些实施例现将详细地描述于以下实例中。
制备表面活性剂溶液
单乙醇胺(MEA):在110mL玻璃瓶中,添加56.7g的去离子水。在使用磁性搅拌棒的搅拌下,添加3.16g MEA直到完全溶解。随后,以逐滴方式在直链烷基苯磺酸(烷基是在苯环的对位中的约C10-C13)(HLAS)中缓慢添加,始终处于搅拌下。继续直到所添加的HLAS的质量是15.08g。继续搅拌直到所有组分(HLAS+MEA)完全溶解并且观测不到可见的颗粒或凝集物。总表面活性剂浓度经过计算是(3.16+15.08)*100/(3.16+15.08+56.7)=24.3%。随后测量溶液的pH,在这个实例中pH=8.27
表面活性剂溶液:上文实例用以评估如何产生具有氨基醇的表面活性剂溶液。如下制备具有2-氨基-2-羟甲基-1,3-丙二醇氨基乙烷的溶液。在110mL玻璃瓶中,添加52.5g的去离子水。在搅拌下,添加7.12g的2-氨基-2-羟甲基-1,3-丙二醇直到完全溶解。随后,以逐滴方式缓慢添加15.38g的HLAS,并且继续搅拌直到观测不到可见的颗粒或凝集物。总表面活性剂浓度经过计算是30wt%,并且溶液的pH是7.95。
3-氨基-4-辛醇类表面活性剂本身不可溶于水中,并且需要添加丙二醇。
洗涤剂配制物:
除如上文所描述的表面活性剂溶液以外,洗涤剂配制物经过制备含有两种溶剂(丙二醇和甘油)、两种表面活性剂(BIOSOFT N25-7、具有7摩尔EO和STEOL CS270的直链醇乙氧基化物、具有2摩尔来自Stepan的EO的烷基醚硫酸盐)和脂肪酸(来自Croda的PALMERAB1220)。用于制备这类洗涤剂配制物的典型实例如下:
在110mL玻璃瓶中,添加2g的去离子水到7.5g的丙二醇,并且用磁性搅拌棒混合。随后,缓慢添加7g的STEOL CS 270,随后缓慢添加9g的BIOSOFT N 25-7。继续混合直至两种表面活性剂完全可溶并且见不到凝集物。随后,在搅拌的同时添加2g的PALMERA B1220和2.75g甘油,并且等待直到完全溶解。对于最终的中和步骤,将2.1g的MEA混合于溶液中。随后,在搅拌下以逐滴方式缓慢添加HLAS,并且继续直到所添加的HLAS的质量是7.5g。使得溶液的所有组分能够完全可溶,并且让溶液静置过夜。测量溶液的pH,并且必要时通过添加MEA来调节。

粘度

在这个实例中,将约0.6g的PVOH膜(M8630,商业上获自Monosol Inc.)添加到6g的20wt%表面活性剂溶液中并且手动剧烈震荡。使用许多商业液体洗衣配制物中通常使用的MEA类表面活性剂,PVOH膜与表面活性剂/水混合物相互作用以形成“一小滴(glob)”,即,未完全溶解的复合物。另一方面,对于2-氨基-2-羟甲基-1,3-丙二醇类表面活性剂溶液,PVOH膜是完全溶解的(就较轻微程度来说,这对于LAS-Na表面活性剂溶液来说也是如此)。对于3-氨基-4-辛醇类表面活性剂,PVOH膜不与表面活性剂溶液相互作用并且在很大程度上是完整的。

Claims (6)

1.一种式I的胺中和的阴离子表面活性剂:
其中R1是C4-C14烷基,并且M是式II的氨基醇化合物:
其中R2是C1-C6烷基或CH2OH;R3是H或CH2OH;并且R4是H或C1-C6烷基。
2.根据权利要求1所述的表面活性剂,其中R1处于苯环的4位。
3.根据权利要求1到2中任一项所述的表面活性剂,其中R1是直链C10-C13烷基。
4.根据权利要求1到3中任一项所述的表面活性剂,其中氨基醇化合物是3-氨基-4-辛醇或2-氨基-2-羟甲基-1,3-丙二醇。
5.一种洗涤剂封包(detergent packet),包含包覆在水溶性聚乙烯醇小袋中的洗涤剂配制物,所述洗涤剂配制物含有根据权利要求1到4中任一项所述的胺中和的阴离子表面活性剂。
6.根据权利要求5所述的洗涤剂封包,其中所述洗涤剂配制物进一步包含脂肪酸盐、一种或多种额外表面活性剂、一种或多种溶剂(例如丙二醇和甘油)和水。
