Abstract

一种读赋值卡装置,设有一壳体(1),它带有一用于放进赋值卡的狭缝状开口(7),开口(7)置于壳体两壁(4,9)形成的圆角边缘(8)上,在开口(7)区域设有凹口(10),在凹处能从壳体外换到赋值卡,该装置能读磁码或光码卡,也能读芯片卡,因为在其里面圆角边缘(8)附近最佳设定一用于读卡中磁性带的读取单元,所以在塞入赋值卡时磁性带的整个长度信息都能被该单元获取。

Description

读赋值卡装置
本发明涉及一种读赋值卡的装置,它设有一个外壳、一个引导卡的引导件和一个用于输入的开口。
此种装置适合用于服务业中为支付所获得的服务的费用而使用的自动设备上。在付款时使用的赋值卡是指信用卡或是具有磁性和光学可读信息的预支赋值卡,或是所谓的芯片卡(chipkarte)。例如,ISO7811和ISO7816标准的信用卡或芯片卡。
在欧洲专利EPO218504中已知的此类装置既可读磁性编码卡又能读芯片卡。在这种装置中有一传送装置,通过该传送装置将卡完全拉进壳体里进行读数或改变数值。这种装置有一个缺点,在传送装置出现故障时不能自动把卡吐出。
另外,既能读光学编码卡又能读芯片卡的一类装置也为人们所熟知(A.Deyhle:荷兰的新型多功能电话卡系统,Swisscom全球杂志,2193)。在壳体面板上开有一用于推入赋值卡的狭缝并且在狭缝区域另设有一截球形凹口。在装置中使用该卡时使用者仍能在该凹口区接触到此卡。在该装置中无法安装磁性编码卡的磁性读写头,因为截球形凹口按功能要求设计,其直径如此之大,以至于磁性读写头无法在磁化区内安装在卡片上。
本发明的目的是,提供一种既能读磁性或光学编码卡又能读芯片卡的装置,并且在使用时使用者总是能接触到该卡。
该目的可通过如下特征来实现。即开口基本上呈狭缝状并置于由壳体两壁所形成的边缘附近;在壳体开口区域中设有一凹口,在该凹口中能在壳体外触摸到被推入的赋值卡。
以下将参照附图对本发明的实施例进行详细说明。附图中:
图1是带有读赋值卡装置的读卡电话机。
图2是该装置的原理性构造。
图3是一个推入被截切装置中的赋值卡。
图1中读卡电话机设有一个壳体1和听筒2。壳体1被支座3支撑在一个倾斜位置并且设有一面板4,其上置有一键板5和一显示单元6,狭缝状开口7用来接受从壳体1的圆角边缘8导进其内部的赋值卡。边缘8是壳体1上两个相互倾斜的壁或壁对之间的过渡部分,最好是面板4和与其邻接的壳体壁9之间的过渡区域。在壳体1上-面板4和壳体壁9上的开口7区域设有一凹口10,在此,使用者手指可触及推入的赋值卡12,设置在壳体1内部的止挡限制了赋值卡的推入深度,从而使完全推入的卡的外端差不多和边缘8齐平。
图2a为带有一个被推入赋值卡12的壳体1的截面图,该赋值卡12一直推进到一机械止挡11,同时图2a也给出了赋值卡材料厚度h。赋值卡12由一个引导件13定位在平面e上,该平面和面板4或主要安置面板4的平面成一个倾角α。倾角α的有益选择应使在壳体1内腔适合功能地设置用于读和/或改变赋值卡12上磁性编码的单元14。此外在壳体1内腔设置一个和赋值卡中的集成组件联系的单元15,例如它可以是存储介质或者是一个微处理器。
支座3支撑壳体1,使其相对于桌面16倾斜,其设置应使赋值卡能便利地推进壳体1中。
图2b是图2a一个变型装置,壳体1设有可直接固定在墙18上的后壁17,且壳体1距水平平面19一定距离之上,该距离使塞卡动作符合人体工程学原理。
图3中赋值卡12一直被推到止挡11,其中赋值卡的外端和边缘8齐平。优点之处在于,通过凹口10产生一个和截拇指形接触面相似的区域20,在该区域中能用手指触摸到赋值卡的两侧。图3中20区域画上了双阴影线。
该开口7开始于边缘8,且设置了凹口10,通过上述放置,当开口7大体上处于使用者视线高度之外时,被推入赋值卡12的区域20对于使用者来说可视性较好。当壳体1作为电话站的一部分(Telefonstation),而电话站以台式模型(图1和2a)和墙式模型(图2b)的方式,在一个区域内按人体工程学安装时,此发明就格外便利。
某种型号的赋值卡12有一带有可磁化层的带21和/或一集成组件22。
为了比较,虚线S示出了一个根据现有技术在壳体壁上安装的截球形存取区的半圆路线,这样是不能读出带21上的信息的。
开口7从边缘8导入壳体1的内腔,由此倾角α的选择应使在赋值卡12和面板4(图1)或在赋值卡12和壳体壁9之间有足够的空间用于安置单元14,通过该单元14可在赋值卡12被推入或取出时读出或者改变带21上的磁性编码。有益的开口设置能使单元14最佳定位在带21朝着圆角边缘8一端23上。通过单元14的最佳定位可使带21的整个长度范围被单元14处理。

Claims (3)

1.读赋值卡装置,设有一壳体,和用于引导赋值卡的引导件以及一个放入该赋值卡的开口,其特征是:开口基本呈狭缝状并置于壳体两壁所形成的圆角边缘上,在壳体开口区域设有一凹口,在该凹口中能在壳体外触摸到被推入的赋值卡。
2.按权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于:所述的开口置于由面板和邻接面板的壳体壁所形成的圆角边缘上。
3.按权利要求2所述的装置,其特征在于:赋值卡通过引导件定位在平面e上,所述的平面和另外一个主要设置面板的平面成锐角α。
