本发明涉及真空清洁器,且更具体涉及用于真空清洁器的表面清洁头上的放气口(air bleed)。
发明内容
在一个实施方式中,本发明提供了用于表面清洁装置的表面清洁头,其包括脏空气入口、脏空气出口以及在脏空气入口与脏空气出口之间延伸的脏气流路径。表面清洁头还包括自动阀组件,其可操作打开脏气流路径并使脏气流路径设置成与环境压力流体连通。自动阀组件基于脏气流路径内的吸力水平被可调节地打开。

在详细解释本发明的任一个实施方式之前,应理解,本发明并不在其应用中被限于下面的描述中陈述的或附图中阐释的结构的细节和部件的布置。本发明能够以不同方式实施或执行其他实施方式。
具体实施方式
图1示出了被配置成沿着待清洁表面移动的真空清洁器头100。所示出的真空清洁器头100包括具有脏空气入口108和脏空气出口112的外壳104。脏气流路径在脏空气入口108与脏空气出口112之间延伸。当连接至真空清洁器(未显示)时,产生吸力以从气流中分离出脏物和碎屑,脏气流路径内的吸力在操作期间恒定变化且主要取决于脏空气入口108所接触的表面的类型(如硬地面、丝绒地毯等)(参见图5)。当脏气流路径与大气压力之间的负压差(即脏气流路径内的吸力水平)变得太大时,使用者就难以推动表面清洁头100扫过待清洁的表面,而当脏气流路径内的吸力变得太小时,脏空气入口108处的吸力不足以从待清洁的表面上扫拾碎片。在所示出的实施方式中,自动阀组件116被设置在待清洁表面之上的外壳104上,且自动阀组件116可操作打开脏气流路径并使脏气流路径设置成与外壳104外的环境压力流体连通(如空气渗出)。更具体地,自动阀组件116包括使脏气流路径与环境压力流体连通的开口,且开口被设置在待清洁的表面之上。自动阀组件116基于脏气流路径内的吸力被可调节地打开(即,被打开到不同的程度,而不是单次,二元地打开和闭合)。正如下面进一步详细描述的,自动阀组件116使脏气流路径选择性地与环境压力相通以连续调节脏气流路径内的吸力。
参考图5,该图示出了当清洁头从硬表面(如木地板、油毯地板等)行进至铺地毯的表面时,常规的表面清洁头的脏气流路径内测得的吸力(即负压差)。两条绘制的曲线示出了常规的表面清洁头转换到两种不同类型的铺地毯的表面。第一曲线600示出了常规的表面清洁头转换到丝绒地毯,且第二曲线604示出了常规的表面清洁头转换到多纤维地毯。正如从图5清楚看到的,当常规的表面清洁头在丝绒地毯上时,脏气流路径内产生的吸力大于当表面清洁头在多纤维地毯上时。在一些情形中,当常规的表面清洁头转换离开硬表面时,脏气流路径内产生的吸力可以增加到约400%(对于多纤维地毯)到约600%(对于丝绒地毯)。如前所述,理想的是将脏气流路径内的吸力维持在所需的吸力范围内。如图5所示的常规的表面清洁头的脏气流路径内的吸力的变化性在所需的吸力范围之外。换句话说,吸力范围太宽且硬表面上的吸力不够和丝绒地毯上吸力太多。通常理想的是将吸力维持在约7英寸水柱之下。对于某些地板类型来说,所需的吸力范围可以在约3英寸水柱到约6英寸水柱之间。对于其他地板类型来说,所需的吸力范围可以在约4英寸水柱到约7英寸水柱之间。其它范围被考虑用于各种地板表面。此问题突出了对自动阀组件的需求,根据本发明,当表面清洁头清洁硬表面和铺地毯的表面两者时,自动阀组件使脏气流路径自动地保持在所需的吸力范围内。
继续参考图1,自动阀组件116包括设置在脏气流路径与环境压力之间且选择性地连接脏气流路径与环境压力的多个阀120。多个阀120中的每一个被配置成响应于脏气流路径内存在的某些吸力而自动地打开。在所示出的实施方式中,当脏气流路径内的吸力持续增加时,多个阀120顺次打开。更具体地,多个阀120包括第一阀120A和第二阀120B,这两个阀被配置成使脏气流路径与环境压力流体连通(即打开)。第一阀120A响应于脏气流路径内存在的第一吸力水平而打开,且第二阀120B响应于脏气流路径内存在的第二吸力水平而打开。第二吸力水平的量级大于第一吸力水平。换句话说,多个阀120中的每一个响应于脏气流路径内存在的不同吸力水平而自动地使脏气流路径与环境压力流体连通。多个阀120并不是都同时打开,而是当脏气流路径内的吸力增大时顺次打开。就此而言,自动阀组件116自动调节以使脏气流路径保持在所需的吸力范围内。
多个阀120可以是任何合适类型的阀,其响应于压差而自动打开。例如,多个阀120可以是隔膜阀、弹簧阀、提升阀、伞阀等,或其一些组合。在隔膜阀的情形中,多个隔膜阀中的每一个包括响应于脏气流路径内的不同吸力打开的隔膜。在弹簧阀的情形中,多个弹簧阀中的每一个包括具有不同弹簧常数的弹簧,该弹簧响应于脏气流路径内的不同吸力使每一个弹簧阀打开。尽管所示出的实施方式显示了8个阀120,但是在备选的实施方式中可以采用任意数目的阀。
参考图6,根据另一个实施方式的自动阀组件216被示意性地示出。自动阀组件216包括可调节的阀220、可操作来测量脏气流路径内的吸力的传感器224以及可操作来基于传感器224的测量控制可调节阀220的控制器228。可调节阀220可以以增量的方式被打开或闭合以允许可调节量的气流与脏气流路径流体连通。例如,当脏气流路径内的吸力的量级增大时,可调节阀220可以以增加的量被打开。传感器224可以被设置在脏气流路径内,或备选地,传感器224可以被设置成远离脏气流路径且具有在传感器224与脏气流路径之间延伸的单独测量的气流路径。控制器228可以是合适的微控制器、微处理器等的任何类型,且控制器228使用传感器224测量作为反馈来操作可调节阀220以使脏气流路径保持在所需的吸力范围内。就此而言,自动阀组件216自动地调节以使脏气流路径保持在所需的吸力范围内。控制器228可以通过例如操控阀220的直接提供能量或通过对操控阀的中间致动器提供能量来操作可调节阀220。
参考图2-4,示出了根据本发明不同实施方式的表面清洁头300、400以及500。所示出的表面清洁头300、400以及500中的每一个包括具有可调节阀220A、220B、220C的自动阀组件216,它们可由使用者手动调节来操作,还可经由控制器228来自动调节。表面清洁头300包括手动滑块332以调节可调节阀220A,表面清洁头400包括手动拨盘432以调节可调节阀220B,且表面清洁头500包括手动杆532以调节可调节阀220C。除了手动输入332、432、532外,可调节阀220A-C被打开的程度可以经由例如中间致动器(未显示)而由控制器228控制。在所示出的实施方式中,手动输入332、432、532由使用者的致动将超过可调节阀220A-C由控制器228的自动设定。
尽管自动阀组件116、216可以被设置在表面清洁装置上的不同位置处,但是优选自动阀组件116、216位于待清洁的表面之上和位于顶部表面清洁头外壳上。这样,可调节阀组件116、216易于被使用者接近且在空间上从脏空气入口去除。将自动阀组件设置远离脏空气入口减轻了异物堵塞脏空气入口至还堵塞自动阀组件的风险。换句话说,如果阀被设置在脏空气入口附近或邻近脏空气入口且物体堵塞脏空气入口,则物体将还可能堵塞阀。另外或备选地,可调节阀组件116、216被设置在地板上方的表面清洁头内(如上地板清洁棒)以调节地板上方的表面清洁头内的吸力水平。

Claims (17)

1.一种用于表面清洁装置的表面清洁头,表面清洁头包括:
脏空气入口;
脏空气出口;
脏气流路径,其在所述脏空气入口与所述脏空气出口之间延伸;以及
自动阀组件,其可操作打开所述脏气流路径并使所述脏气流路径设置成与环境压力流体连通,
其中所述自动阀组件基于所述脏气流路径内的吸力水平被可调节地打开,
其中所述自动阀组件包括设置在所述脏气流路径与环境压力之间的多个阀,所述多个阀能够操作以随着所述脏气流路径内的吸力增大而顺次打开。
2.如权利要求1所述的表面清洁头,其中所述多个阀是隔膜阀。
3.如权利要求2所述的表面清洁头,其中所述多个隔膜阀中的每一个包括隔膜,所述隔膜响应于所述脏气流路径内的不同的吸力水平而打开。
4.如权利要求1所述的表面清洁头,其中所述多个阀是弹簧阀。
5.如权利要求4所述的表面清洁头,其中所述多个弹簧阀中的每一个包括具有不同弹簧常数的弹簧,所述弹簧响应于所述脏气流路径内的不同的吸力水平而使所述弹簧阀中的每一个打开。

14.如权利要求13所述的表面清洁头,其中当所述脏气流路径内的吸力的量级增大时,所述可调节阀被进一步打开。
