Background
In the prior art, there is no hearing of a vehicle in which there is integrated a standardized compact optical module comprising common parts and different parts, which can be used as a compact optical module for high beam, low beam, daytime running light or position light. Document US2012/0063156 describes an optical unit comprising: a heat sink that emits heat based on a light source; and a base including a reflection region, a lens mounting region, and a connection region coupling the reflector mounting region and the lens mounting region. The optical unit is composed of a plurality of specific elements, and the assembly between the specific elements is not obvious. Furthermore, the optical unit is fixed by means of pins in the back plate of a housing on a heat sink, and a half-enveloped glass is fixed on the front of the housing so as to be in front of the lens of the optical unit. It is known that the optical unit is made up of a plurality of complex parts and the assembly between said plurality of complex elements is not obvious. Moreover, the optical unit is specific to a single vehicle lamp.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks by providing a compact optical module comprising a light source with a diode and having a standard part capable of receiving different complementary parts and being easily assembled in order to provide different types of vehicle lights as required.
To this end, the invention provides a compact optical module for vehicles designed to obtain a plurality of types of vehicle lamps comprising a lens and a reflector associated with a light source, in particular comprising at least one L ED, said at least one L ED being different according to the type of vehicle lamp, assembled on a support that is common to all types of vehicle lamps.
Advantageously, the support receives the lens in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the module, which allows good integration, while the lens is easy to fit on the support.
According to a variant, the support comprises a frontwardly projecting zone with respect to the side wall, the ends of said projecting zone being rounded. This enables easy assembly of the lens.
Optionally, the forwardly projecting region of the support comprises an arrangement means for ensuring centering and sandwiching of the lens. These arrangement means are easy to implement and relatively inexpensive.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, each of the longitudinal edges of the lens comprises a tongue on which an extension is included on the end. This enables good gripping of the tongue.
According to one variant, the support receives a reflector along a longitudinal axis of the module.
Advantageously, the forwardly projecting region of the support comprises rearwardly facing arrangement means for ensuring centering and sandwiching of the reflector.
According to another variant, the reflector comprises two tongues facing forwards, the ends of which are of the same size as the forward zones of the supports.
Advantageously, the tongue of the reflector overlaps a forward region of the support, the forward region comprising an arrangement member capable of sandwiching the reflector.
According to one variant, the reflector comprises a suspended horizontally arranged perforated plate behind the upper part.
According to a variant, the apertured plate comprises an arrangement member on which the light source holder is sandwiched, which enables an easy implementation.
The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a compact optical module having the above-mentioned features, said compact optical module comprising a reflector associated with a light source and a lens.
