Abstract
本发明公开了一种铝塑膜锂离子电池及其制作方法,所述铝塑膜锂离子电池包括铝塑膜和设于所述铝塑膜内部的电芯芯包,所述电芯芯包包括负极片、正极片和隔离膜;所述铝塑膜锂离子电池还包括一内壳结构,所述电芯芯包设于所述内壳结构的内部,所述铝塑膜包覆于所述内壳结构的外部。本发明将电芯芯包装入内壳结构中再将其用铝塑膜封装,即使施加在铝塑膜外表面的外力传递到了电芯内部,也会因为内壳结构缓冲而起到保护作用,所得锂离子电池的机械强度较好,外壳表面平滑美观,锂电池针刺试验结果表明其安全性能优良,能够抵抗外部环境的不安定影响,保证电池稳定运行。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种铝塑膜锂离子电池及其制作方法。
背景技术
由于混合动力车辆及纯电动车辆的盛行,以及相应而来的对于清洁能源的需求,现今社会对于二次电池的研究越来越多。二次电池根据电芯种类可分为镍镉电池、镍氢电池、镍锌电池和锂离子电池等,其中,因为锂离子电池具有可循环使用、容量大、制动电压高、能量密度大的特点,在尖端动力能源领域有广泛的使用。特别是使用铝塑膜的聚合物软包锂离子电池,因其具有重量轻、制作成本低、电池形状方便设计等优点备受瞩目。
而正由于锂离子电池能量密度高、能源利用效率高的特点,以及其广泛的应用面期望值,锂离子电池在使用时的安全性能备受关注。现有技术中,常规用于电动车辆以及其他中大规模使用环境的锂离子电池一般采用电池组合形式进行应用;在使用过程中,若外部环境不安定引发诸如冲击或震动情况时,普通锂离子电池常会因此出现电芯内部破损或内部短路,进而导致发生热失控反应,最终引起电芯性能降低、绝缘性击穿、电池燃烧等问题。
发明内容
本发明要解决的技术问题是为了克服现有技术中锂离子电池在外部冲击或强烈震动下,容易因电芯内部破损而导致电芯性能降低、绝缘性击穿的缺陷,提供了一种强化电芯耐久性的铝塑膜锂离子电池及其制作方法。
本发明是通过下述技术方案来解决上述技术问题:
本发明提供了一种铝塑膜锂离子电池,包括铝塑膜和设于所述铝塑膜内部的电芯芯包,所述电芯芯包包括负极片、正极片和隔离膜;所述铝塑膜锂离子电池还包括一内壳结构,所述电芯芯包设于所述内壳结构的内部,所述铝塑膜包覆于所述内壳结构的外部;
所述内壳结构为层状结构,所述层状结构的层数至少为两层,所述层状结构包括一绝缘层以及一设于所述绝缘层外侧的金属层。
本发明中,所述内壳结构与所述电芯芯包接触的内部绝缘层要负责缓冲从外部层施加过来的冲击力,因此其具有的弹性应当是越大越好,与此相反,所述内壳结构的外部金属层的机械强度应当较高,并采用具有导电性的金属层从而建立针刺时的外部电流通路来提高电芯安全性。
本发明中,所述绝缘层的材质为本领域常规的具有电绝缘性和高热传导率的高分子聚合物,较佳地为PET(Polyethylene terephthalate,聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯)、PE(Polyethylene,聚乙烯)、PP(Polypropylene,聚丙烯)、PVC(Polyvinyl chloride,聚氯乙烯)和聚乙聚丙复合聚合物中的一种,以保证内壳结构的强度,在受到一定程度的外部冲击时能够保证其不会碎裂,并防止撞击之后电芯变形导致的内部短路,改善遭针刺型损伤后电池本体的性能。
本发明中,所述金属层的材质为本领域常规的具有良好导电性的金属或合金,较佳地为银、铜、金、铝、钨、镍和铁中的一种或其对应的合金,更佳地为铜、铝、铜合金和铝合金中的一种。
本发明中,所述层状结构的层数较佳地为三层,所述层状结构包括一设于中间的金属层,一设于所述金属层外侧的外绝缘层以及一设于所述金属层内侧的内绝缘层。
本发明中,所述层状结构的层数较佳地为三的倍数层,所述层状结构包括所述三的倍数个层状单元,每个所述层状单元包括一设于中间的金属层,一设于所述金属层外侧的外绝缘层以及一设于所述金属层内侧的内绝缘层,各层状单元的材质选择相互独立。
本发明中,所述内壳结构的形状较佳地与所述电芯芯包的形状相匹配;例如,当电芯芯包的形状是圆柱体时,内壳结构的形状也为圆柱体。
本发明中,所述负极片较佳地由粘结剂、导电剂、负极活物质和溶剂搅拌成合浆后将其涂覆在负极基材上并干燥、辊压后制成;所述正极片较佳地由粘结剂、导电剂、正极活物质和溶剂搅拌成合浆后将其涂覆在正极基材上并干燥、辊压后制成。
本发明中,所述粘结剂为本领域常规的粘结剂,较佳地为CMC(羧甲基纤维素)和/或EPDM(三元乙丙橡胶)。
本发明中,所述导电剂为本领域常规的导电剂,一般在其具备导电作用的同时只要不会引发化学性的反应,不限制其选择;所述导电剂较佳地为碳黑导电剂、碳素纤维、金属纤维、氟化碳、金属粉末和金属氧化物中的一种,所述碳黑导电剂较佳地包括天然石墨、人造石墨、碳粉和乙炔黑,所述金属粉末较佳地包括铝粉和镍粉,所述金属氧化物较佳地包括氧化锌、钛酸钾和氧化钛。
本发明中,所述负极活物质较佳地为由锂、钴、锰和镍中的两种或多种金属元素所形成的复合金属氧化物中的一种或多种,更佳地为LiCoO2、LiMn2O4、LiNiO2、LiNi1-xCoxO2(0<x<1)、LiMnO2、LiNi1-x-yCoxMnyO2(0<x<1,0<y<1)中的一种或多种。
本发明中,所述正极活物质较佳地为碳素材料、硅基负极材料和硅碳负极材料中的一种或多种,所述碳素材料较佳地为石油焦炭(petroleum coke)、活性炭(activatedcarbon)和石墨(graphite)中的一种或多种。
本发明中,所述溶剂为本领域常规的溶剂,较佳地为水或N-甲基吡咯烷酮(NMP)。
本发明中,所述合浆中较佳地加入粘度调节剂和/或导电性调节剂;所述粘度调节剂和所述导电性调节剂均为本领域常规。
本发明中,所述负极基材的材质较佳地为铝、镍和铝镍合金中的一种;所述正极基材的材质较佳地为铜、镍或铜镍合金中的一种。
本发明中,所述隔离膜为本领域常规的隔离膜,一般是具有微孔的多层结构,用于防止短路并提供锂离子通路;所述隔离膜的材质较佳地为PE、PP、PVDF(Polyvinylidenefluorid,聚偏氟乙烯)、PEO(Polyethylene oxide,聚氧化乙烯)、PAN(Polyacrylonitrile,聚丙烯腈)和PVDF-HFP(聚偏氟乙烯-六氟丙烯)中的一种或多种。
本发明中,所述铝塑膜为本领域常规的铝塑膜,所述铝塑膜包括铝箔层、设于所述铝箔层内侧的热熔层以及设于所述铝箔层外侧的绝缘膜层;所述铝塑膜的内部空间较佳地与所述电芯芯包相匹配。
本发明中,所述热熔层的材质较佳地为改性聚丙烯,更佳地为C-PP(CastedPolypropylene,浇注型聚丙烯);所述绝缘膜的材质较佳地为尼龙或PET。
本发明还提供了一种上述铝塑膜锂离子电池的制作方法,其包括以下步骤:
(1)将负极片、正极片和隔离膜组装得到电芯芯包,并将所述电芯芯包装入内壳结构中,得电池内芯;
(2)铝塑膜冲壳得电池壳体;
(3)将所述电池内芯放入所述电池壳体中,并向所述电池壳体中注入电解液;
(4)真空封装,即可。
其中,步骤(1)中,所述组装为本领域常规操作,一般通过将负极片、隔离膜、正极片通过叠层或卷绕的方式得到相应结构的电芯芯包;例如,当制作常规柱状锂离子电池时,先按负极片-隔离膜-正极片-隔离膜自上而下的顺序放好,再经卷绕即制成电芯芯包。
步骤(1)中,所述冲壳为本领域常规操作,一般在冲壳阶段控制电池壳体的内部空间与芯包基本一致,以减少后续工艺如真空封装的处理难度
步骤(3)中,所述真空封装为本领域常规操作,用于除去电池壳体中的多余气体,防止其影响锂离子电池的稳定工作。
在符合本领域常识的基础上,上述各优选条件,可任意组合,即得本发明各较佳实例。
本发明的积极进步效果在于:本发明将电芯芯包装入内壳结构中再将其用铝塑膜封装,即使施加在铝塑膜外表面的外力传递到了电芯内部,也会因为内壳结构缓冲而起到保护作用,所得锂离子电池的机械强度较好,外壳表面平滑美观,锂电池针刺试验结果表明其安全性能优良,能够抵抗外部环境的不安定影响,保证电池稳定运行。

具体实施方式
下面通过实施例的方式进一步说明本发明,但并不因此将本发明限制在所述的实施例范围之中。
本发明各实施例中,针刺试验根据中国国家标准GB/T 31485-2015《电动汽车用动力蓄电池安全要求及试验方法》进行。
实施例1
如图1所示,本实施例提供了一种铝塑膜锂离子电池,包括铝塑膜和设于所述铝塑膜内部的电芯芯包;所述铝塑膜为经本领域常规冲壳操作后得到的铝塑膜,所述电芯芯包呈扁平状,包括负极片、正极片和隔离膜,由所述电芯芯包引出的极耳(包括正极极耳和负极极耳)位于铝塑膜的外侧,并分别与所述电芯芯包中的正极片和负极片电连接;所述铝塑膜锂离子电池还包括一内壳结构。
如图1~2所示,所述内壳结构的形状与所述电芯芯包的形状相匹配,所述电芯芯包设于所述内壳结构的内部,形成一电池内芯;所述铝塑膜包覆于所述内壳结构的外部。
如图3所示,所述内壳结构为层状结构,所述层状结构的层数为两层,包括一绝缘层以及一设于所述绝缘层外侧的金属层。
本实施例中,所述铝塑膜包括铝箔层、设于所述铝箔层内侧的热熔层以及设于所述铝箔层外侧的绝缘膜层;所述铝塑膜的内部空间与所述电芯芯包相匹配,所述热熔层的材质为C-PP,所述绝缘膜的材质为尼龙。
本实施例中,所述电芯芯包中,所述负极片和所述正极片均由粘结剂、导电剂、活物质和溶剂搅拌成合浆后将其涂覆在基材上并干燥、辊压后制成;所述粘结剂为CMC,所述导电剂为人造石墨,所述活物质包括负极活物质和正极活物质,所述负极活物质为LiCoO2和LiMn2O4,所述正极活物质为石油焦炭、活性炭和石墨混合的碳素材料,所述溶剂为水,所述合浆中加入领域常规的粘度调节剂,所述基材包括负极基材和正极基材,所述负极基材的材质为铝,所述正极基材的材质为铜,所述隔离膜的材质为PE和PP;
本实施例中,所述内壳结构中,所述绝缘层的材质为PET,所述金属层的材质为铜。
本实施例的铝塑膜锂离子电池的制作方法包括以下步骤:
(1)将负极片、正极片和隔离膜叠层组装得到电芯芯包,并将所述电芯芯包装入内壳结构中,得电池内芯;
(2)铝塑膜冲壳得电池壳体;
(3)将所述电池内芯放入所述电池壳体中,并向所述电池壳体中注入电解液;
(4)真空封装,即可。
将所得铝塑膜锂离子电池按中国国家标准GB/T 31485-2015《电动汽车用动力蓄电池安全要求及试验方法》进行针刺试验,结果不爆炸、不起火,针刺区域电池温度稳定。
实施例2
本实施例与实施例1基本相同,区别在于:
如图4所示,本实施例中,所述层状结构的层数为三层,所述层状结构包括一设于中间的金属层,一设于所述金属层外侧的外绝缘层以及一设于所述金属层内侧的内绝缘层。
本实施例中,所述铝塑膜包括铝箔层、设于所述铝箔层内侧的热熔层以及设于所述铝箔层外侧的绝缘膜层;所述铝塑膜的内部空间与所述电芯芯包相匹配,所述热熔层的材质为C-PP,所述绝缘膜的材质为PET。
本实施例中,所述电芯芯包中,所述负极片和所述正极片均由粘结剂、导电剂、活物质和溶剂搅拌成合浆后将其涂覆在基材上并干燥、辊压后制成;所述粘结剂为EPDM,所述导电剂为铝粉,所述活物质包括负极活物质和正极活物质,所述负极活物质为LiNiO2和LiNi1-xCoxO2(0<x<1),所述正极活物质为硅碳负极材料,所述溶剂为N-甲基吡咯烷酮,所述合浆中加入领域常规的导电性调节剂,所述基材包括负极基材和正极基材,所述负极基材的材质为镍,所述正极基材的材质为铜镍合金,所述隔离膜的材质为PVDF、PEO和PVDF-HFP;
本实施例中,所述内壳结构中,所述外绝缘层的材质为PE,所述内绝缘层的材质为PP,所述金属层的材质为铝。
将所得铝塑膜锂离子电池按中国国家标准GB/T 31485-2015《电动汽车用动力蓄电池安全要求及试验方法》进行针刺试验,结果不爆炸、不起火,针刺区域电池温度稳定。
实施例3
本实施例与实施例1基本相同,区别在于:
本实施例中,所述层状结构的层数为六层,所述层状结构包括所述两个层状单元,每个所述层状单元一设于中间的金属层,一设于所述金属层外侧的外绝缘层以及一设于所述金属层内侧的内绝缘层。
本实施例中,所述铝塑膜包括铝箔层、设于所述铝箔层内侧的热熔层以及设于所述铝箔层外侧的绝缘膜层;所述铝塑膜的内部空间与所述电芯芯包相匹配,所述热熔层的材质为C-PP,所述绝缘膜的材质为PET。
本实施例中,所述电芯芯包中,所述负极片和所述正极片均由粘结剂、导电剂、活物质和溶剂搅拌成合浆后将其涂覆在基材上并干燥、辊压后制成;所述粘结剂为CMC和EPDM,所述导电剂为氧化锌,所述活物质包括负极活物质和正极活物质,所述负极活物质为LiMnO2和LiNi1-x-yCoxMnyO2(0<x<1,0<y<1),所述正极活物质为硅基负极材料,所述溶剂为N-甲基吡咯烷酮,所述合浆中加入领域常规的粘度调节剂和导电性调节剂,所述基材包括负极基材和正极基材,所述负极基材的材质为铝镍合金,所述正极基材的材质为镍,所述隔离膜的材质为PAN;

将所得铝塑膜锂离子电池按中国国家标准GB/T 31485-2015《电动汽车用动力蓄电池安全要求及试验方法》进行针刺试验,结果不爆炸、不起火,针刺区域电池温度稳定。

Claims (10)
1.一种铝塑膜锂离子电池,其包括铝塑膜和设于所述铝塑膜内部的电芯芯包,所述电芯芯包包括负极片、正极片和隔离膜;其特征在于,所述铝塑膜锂离子电池还包括一内壳结构,所述电芯芯包设于所述内壳结构的内部,所述铝塑膜包覆于所述内壳结构的外部;
所述内壳结构为层状结构,所述层状结构的层数至少为两层,所述层状结构包括一绝缘层以及一设于所述绝缘层外侧的金属层。
2.如权利要求1所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述绝缘层的材质为PET、PE、PP、PVC和聚乙聚丙复合聚合物中的一种。
3.如权利要求1所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述金属层的材质为银、铜、金、铝、钨、镍和铁中的一种或其对应的合金,较佳地为铜、铝、铜合金和铝合金中的一种。
4.如权利要求1所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述层状结构的层数为三层,所述层状结构包括一设于中间的金属层,一设于所述金属层外侧的外绝缘层以及一设于所述金属层内侧的内绝缘层。
5.如权利要求1所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述层状结构的层数为三的倍数层,所述层状结构包括所述三的倍数个层状单元,每个所述层状单元包括一设于中间的金属层,一设于所述金属层外侧的外绝缘层以及一设于所述金属层内侧的内绝缘层。
6.如权利要求1所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述内壳结构的形状与所述电芯芯包的形状相匹配。
7.如权利要求1所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述负极片由粘结剂、导电剂、负极活物质和溶剂搅拌成合浆后将其涂覆在负极基材上并干燥、辊压后制成,所述正极片由粘结剂、导电剂、正极活物质和溶剂搅拌成合浆后将其涂覆在正极基材上并干燥、辊压后制成;
和/或,所述隔离膜的材质为PE、PP、PVDF、PEO、PAN和PVDF-HFP中的一种或多种。
8.如权利要求7所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述粘结剂为CMC和/或EPDM;
和/或,所述导电剂为碳黑导电剂、碳素纤维、金属纤维、氟化碳、金属粉末和金属氧化物中的一种,所述碳黑导电剂包括天然石墨、人造石墨、碳粉和乙炔黑,所述金属粉末包括铝粉和镍粉,所述金属氧化物包括氧化锌、钛酸钾和氧化钛;
和/或,所述负极活物质为由锂、钴、锰和镍中的两种或多种金属元素所形成的复合金属氧化物中的一种或多种,较佳地为LiCoO2、LiMn2O4、LiNiO2、LiNi1-xCoxO2、LiMnO2、LiNi1-x- yCoxMnyO2中的一种或多种,其中0<x<1,0<y<1;
和/或,所述正极活物质为碳素材料、硅基负极材料和硅碳负极材料中的一种或多种,所述碳素材料为石油焦炭、活性炭和石墨中的一种或多种;
和/或,所述溶剂为水或N-甲基吡咯烷酮;
和/或,所述合浆中加入粘度调节剂和/或导电性调节剂;
和/或,所述负极基材的材质为铝、镍和铝镍合金中的一种;
和/或,所述正极基材的材质为铜、镍或铜镍合金中的一种。
9.如权利要求1所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池,其特征在于,所述铝塑膜包括铝箔层、设于所述铝箔层内侧的热熔层以及设于所述铝箔层外侧的绝缘膜层,所述铝塑膜的内部空间与所述电芯芯包相匹配。
10.一种如权利要求1~9任一项所述的铝塑膜锂离子电池的制作方法,其特征在于,其包括以下步骤:
(1)将负极片、正极片和隔离膜组装得到电芯芯包,并将所述电芯芯包装入内壳结构中,得电池内芯;
(2)铝塑膜冲壳得电池壳体;
(3)将所述电池内芯放入所述电池壳体中,并向所述电池壳体中注入电解液;
(4)真空封装,即可。
