Abstract

Description
本发明涉及水泥基光催化组合物及其用于获得特别是用于室外应用的水性油漆的用途。
光催化为涉及一些称为光催化剂的物质的天然现象,这些物质当被适合波长的光辐照时能够催化一些化学反应。具体地说,在空气和光存在下,在含有光催化物质的表面上激活氧化过程,从而导致有机和无机污染物质(微生物、氮氧化物、缩聚物芳族产物、苯、二氧化硫、一氧化碳、甲醛、乙醛、甲醇、乙醇、苯、乙苯、甲苯、一氧化氮以及二氧化氮)转化和/或分解。此类污染和/或有毒物质通过光催化过程转化成可通过雨水或经由洗涤冲洗掉的无毒物质,诸如硝酸钠(NaNO3)、硫酸钙(CaSO4)、硝酸钙(Ca(NO3)2)以及碳酸钙(CaCO3)。
然后光催化过程可用于显著减少存在于环境中的污染物,诸如通过汽车、工厂、家用取暖以及其它来源的废气产生的那些污染物,并且同时消除污垢、霉菌、以及降解建筑物或其它结构的外表面的细菌。
光催化剂通常为金属化合物,诸如活性最大且最常用的二氧化钛TiO2、氧化锌ZnO以及其它氧化物和硫化物(CeO2、ZrO2、SnO2、CdS、ZnS等)。
已经做出大量的努力来提供待用于涂覆建筑物表面的含有光催化剂的组合物,所述组合物可通过建筑工业中常用的方式来应用;此类组合物确保显著且持久的光催化作用,同时确保令人满意的美学效果,以及当然以不过量的成本,以便允许其大规模应用。
根据现有技术,光催化产品通常并入具有常规类型的大量有机碱的油漆或清漆制剂中。然而,如果此类制剂具有有机性质,那么它们经受由光催化剂催化的转化和/或分解作用,以使得所应用的涂层的特性随着时间劣化,伴有脱落和粉碎现象,并且导致初始光催化特性的快速衰减。
本领域还已知包含光催化剂的水泥基组合物。
例如,在专利申请WO 2009/013337中,描述了包含以下各项的光催化组合物:水硬性粘合剂;聚羧酸类或丙烯酸类超流化剂;具有包括在10,000与120,000mPa.s之间的粘度的纤维素醚;粘合剂;含钙、含硅或含硅钙填充剂;光催化剂。此类组合物将具备流变特性,以便使得它们特别适于应用于大的表面上而不会滴落或变形。
在专利申请WO 2013/018059中,描述了一种用于在水中稀释的光催化粉末油漆,其包含:与纳米颗粒形式的光催化二氧化钛组合的波特兰水泥(Portland cement);最大粒度低于100μm的含钙惰性物质;具有低于1000mPa.s的粘度的纤维素;流化剂;消泡剂;乙烯基聚合物;颜料。此类组合物还包含以下添加剂中的至少一种:偏高岭土、甲酸钙以及硅藻土。
申请人已面对提供适于获得水性油漆(即具有极低厚度的壁涂层,特别是用于室外应用)的水泥基光催化组合物的技术问题,所述组合物能够:
(a)确保光催化作用随着时间推移保持稳定,而且具有相对低的量的光催化剂,通常低于10重量%;
(b)允许用常规方式制备并应用水性油漆,诸如用于常见涂漆工作的那些方式,获得关于涂层的均匀度和它对耐气候剂的耐受性的最佳结果;
(c)使用不具有毒性或危险作用的产品,而不使用重金属和有机溶剂,特别是芳族溶剂,以便获得挥发性有机化合物(VOC)含量低于0.35g/l的产物。
将在下文中更好地说明的这些目标和其它目标已借助于如以下说明书和所附权利要求书中定义的水泥基光催化组合物来被申请人实现,所述组合物除以上所述结果之外还允许获得提高的可见辐射的反射率,具体地说是由于使用了具有不同粒度的含钙填充剂的组合。另外,如下文更好地描述的粉末形式的硅烷的添加确保了水性油漆的更大疏水性,并且因此确保了对耐气候剂作用的耐受性提高。
在第一个方面,本发明因此涉及一种水泥基光催化组合物,其包含:
(a)至少一种水泥粘合剂;
(b)至少一种光催化剂;
(c)至少一种纤维素醚;
(d)至少一种流化剂;
(e)至少一种呈颗粒形式的第一含钙填充剂,所述颗粒的至少95重量%具有不大于100μm的大小;
(f)至少一种呈颗粒形式的第二含钙填充剂,所述颗粒的至少95重量%具有不大于30μm的大小;
(g)至少一种负载在呈粉末形式的无机载体上的硅烷。
优选地,所述光催化组合物包含:
(a)15重量%至60重量%,更优选地20重量%至50重量%的至少一种水泥粘合剂;
(b)0.5重量%至12重量%,更优选地1重量%至8重量%的至少一种光催化剂;
(c)0.02重量%至3重量%,更优选地0.05重量%至1.5重量%的至少一种纤维素醚;
(d)0.05重量%至5重量%,更优选地0.1重量%至2重量%的至少一种流化剂;
(e)10重量%至50重量%,更优选地15重量%至35重量%的至少一种呈颗粒形式的第一含钙填充剂,所述颗粒的至少95重量%具有不大于100μm的大小;
(f)10重量%至50重量%,更优选地15重量%至35重量%的至少一种呈颗粒形式的第二含钙填充剂,所述颗粒的至少95重量%具有不大于30μm的大小;
(g)0.05重量%至5重量%,更优选地0.01重量%至3重量%的至少一种负载在呈粉末形式的无机载体上的硅烷。
在本说明书和所附权利要求书的范围内,所述光催化组合物的各种组分的量除其中不同指示之外均表示为相对于组合物自身总重量的重量百分比。
在第二个方面,本发明涉及如以上所定义的水泥基光催化组合物用于涂覆建筑物结构以便减少污染剂的存在的用途。
另外,本发明涉及如以上所定义的水泥基光催化组合物用于涂覆由金属、木材或塑料材料(例如,聚氯乙烯(PVC))制成的表面的用途。关于水泥粘合剂(a),这通常由干燥状态的粉末形式的水硬性水泥材料制成,所述材料当与水混合时形成能够在足以允许其以塑性状态应用的时间之后凝固并硬化的塑性材料。优选地,所述水泥粘合剂为波特兰水泥。
优选地,光催化剂(b)为光催化形式的二氧化钛,即主要为锐钛矿结晶形式。光催化二氧化钛优选地具有使得至少95重量%具有不大于50nm,更优选地不大于20nm的大小的粒度。优选地,光催化二氧化钛具有包括在100与500m2/g之间的表面积。光催化二氧化钛还可与非光催化二氧化钛,例如金红石结晶形式的非光催化二氧化钛混合使用,这允许赋予所述组合物亮白色。优选地,所述非光催化二氧化钛以0.5重量%至20重量%,更优选地1重量%至15重量%的量存在。
关于纤维素醚(c),这优选地在20℃下具有100至70,000mPa.s,更优选地100至30,000mPa.s,甚至更优选地200至10,000mPa.s的布氏粘度RVT。所述粘度可例如对2重量%的水溶液进行测量。具体地说,纤维素醚可选自:乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、甲基羟基丙基纤维素、甲基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素、甲基羧乙基纤维素、或其混合物。这种类型的产品可在市场上找到,例如以商标CulminalTM、WalocelTM和TyloseTM。
流化剂(d)可选自水泥领域中常用的产品。这些通常为乙烯基或丙烯酸聚合物,例如像:聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚叔碳酸乙烯酯、聚丙烯酸丁酯或其共聚物(Elotex的市售产品)。优选地,所述流化剂为超流化剂,例如聚羧酸酯,更确切地说为来自不饱和单羧酸或二羧酸和可聚合不饱和共聚单体的共聚物。不饱和单羧酸或二羧酸的实例包括:丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、巴豆酸、马来酸、富马酸、衣康酸、柠康酸、以及类似酸。可聚合不饱和共聚单体的实例包括:多亚烷基二醇单(甲基)丙烯酸酯(例如,三甘醇单丙烯酸酯和聚乙二醇单丙烯酸酯,其中聚乙二醇具有200至1000的平均分子量)。这种类型的产品可在市场上找到,例如以商标MelfluxTM。
关于含钙填充剂(e)和(f),第一含钙填充剂呈其中至少95重量%具有不大于100μm,优选地不大于70μm的大小的颗粒形式,而第二含钙填充剂呈其中至少95重量%具有不大于30μm,优选地不大于20μm的大小的颗粒形式。优选地,所述第一含钙填充剂呈其中不超过5重量%具有不大于30μm,优选地不大于20μm的大小的颗粒形式。例如在UNI EN 12620:2008标准中定义的含钙填充剂细分成含钙矿物质,主要含有碳酸钙(通常碳酸钙含量至少等于75重量%)。优选地,含钙填充剂(e)和(f)以0.2与2.0之间,更优选地0.5与1.5之间的重量比(e)/(f)存在。申请人认为添加具有比第一含钙填充剂更细的粒度的第二含钙填充剂允许获得更高品质的涂层,因为较小颗粒填充其它材料颗粒之间,具体地说光催化剂颗粒之间存在的空隙。
关于负载在呈粉末形式的无机载体上的硅烷(g),这通常为负载在无机载体诸如二氧化硅或硅酸盐上的有机硅烷。优选地,负载的硅烷呈其中至少95重量%具有不大于100μ,优选地不大于80μ的大小的颗粒形式。
优选地,所述硅烷为式R1Si(OR2)3的烷基三烷氧基硅烷,其中R1为烷基C1-C18,优选地C4-C12(直链或分支链),而基团R2彼此相等或不同,为直链或分支链C1-C6,优选地C1-C4烷基。例如,所述硅烷为异丁基三乙氧基硅烷、正辛基三乙氧基硅烷、异辛基三乙氧基硅烷。
优选地,根据本发明的光催化组合物还包含至少一种疏水性乙烯基聚合物(h),其允许进一步增加水性油漆的疏水特性。可以粉末形式获得的此类聚合物(h)可优选地以1重量%至20重量%,更优选地3重量%至10重量%的量添加。优选地,疏水性乙烯基聚合物为氯乙烯、乙烯和乙烯基酯三元共聚物CH2=CH-O-C(=O)-R,其中R为直链或分支链C4-C24烷基,例如月桂酸乙烯酯。这种类型的产品可在市场上找到,例如以商标VinnapasTM。
仍作为疏水剂,至少一种长链羧酸盐(i)可添加到根据本发明的光催化组合物中,例如硬脂酸钙以及类似物。所述盐的量通常包括在0.01重量%与5重量%之间,更优选地0.1重量%与2重量%之间。
根据本发明的光催化组合物还可包含这种产品类型中常用的其它添加剂,诸如:消泡剂、颜料、充气添加剂、偏高岭土、甲酸钙、硅藻土等。
根据本发明的光催化组合物可根据已知技术,经由使用适合机械混合器例如行星式混合器以任意顺序混合干燥状态的各种组分,持续足以获得良好均匀度的时间来产生。
为了制备水性油漆,将水以预定比例添加到所述光催化组合物中,混合直到获得均匀的流体产品。
水与水泥粘合剂(a)之间的重量比可在作为所用组分和希望采用的应用技术的特异性的函数的宽范围内改变。水/粘合剂重量比通常包括在0.2与0.8之间。
水性油漆的应用可通过常规方式进行,诸如用于常见涂漆工作中的方式,如毛刷和滚筒,或甚至刮勺、泥铲、无空气泵等。所述应用可发生在各种类型的建筑物上,诸如壁结构(外壁和内壁)、瓷砖、石板、预制结构、水泥建筑物(诸如吸声阻挡层和新泽西阻挡层(newjersey barriers))、通道、露石混凝土、城市建筑构成部分或街头设施。在应用并干燥之后,光催化组合物层的厚度可在作为建筑物和希望获得的光催化作用的函数的宽范围内改变。通常,0.05mm至1mm,更优选地0.1至0.5mm的厚度为足够的。
以下实施例仅出于举例说明本发明的目的而提供并且不一定旨在限制由所附权利要求书限定的保护范围。
实施例1
根据本发明通过以表1中报告的量混合以下组分来获得光催化组合物。

通过以60%重量比混合上述组合物与水来制备水性油漆。将水性油漆应用于具有等于0.3mm的平均厚度的样品上,并且测量太阳光反射率以及其热发射特性。结果在表2中报告。

太阳反射率为由受辐射表面反射的入射太阳辐射的分数;它可从针对完全吸收表面的0到针对完全反射表面的1(即100%)之间变化。热发射率为由表面实际发射的热辐射与在相同温度下的最大理论发射之间的比率;这从0到1之间变化。具有高太阳反射率的盖表面仅吸收一小部分入射太阳辐射。另外,如果盖表面具有同样高的热发射率,则所吸收的大部分太阳能返回到外部环境。
所获得的产品因此可标记为“能源之星”,确保大于65%的太阳反射率使其为目前市场上最好的产品之一。
Claims (18)
1.水泥基光催化组合物,其包含:
(a)至少一种水泥粘合剂;
(b)至少一种光催化剂;
(c)至少一种纤维素醚;
(d)至少一种流化剂;
(e)至少一种呈颗粒形式的第一含钙填充剂,所述颗粒的至少95重量%具有不大于100μm的尺寸;
(f)至少一种呈颗粒形式的第二含钙填充剂,所述颗粒的至少95重量%具有不大于30μm的尺寸;
(g)至少一种负载在呈粉末形式的无机载体上的硅烷。
2.根据权利要求1所述的光催化组合物,其包含:
(a)15重量%至60重量%,优选地20重量%至50重量%的至少一种水泥粘合剂;
(b)0.5重量%至12重量%,优选地1重量%至8重量%的至少一种光催化剂;

6.根据权利要求4或5所述的光催化组合物,其中所述光催化二氧化钛与非光催化二氧化钛混合。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的光催化组合物,其中所述纤维素醚(c)在20℃下具有100至70,000mPa.s,优选地100至30,000mPa.s,更优选地200至10,000mPa.s的布氏粘度RVT。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的光催化组合物,其中所述第一含钙填充剂(e)呈其中至少95重量%具有不大于70μm的尺寸的颗粒形式,而所述第二含钙填充剂(f)呈其中至少95重量%具有不大于20μm的尺寸的颗粒形式。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的光催化组合物,其中所述第一含钙填充剂(e)呈其中不超过5重量%具有不大于30μm,优选地不大于20μm的尺寸的颗粒形式。
10.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的光催化组合物,其中所述含钙填充剂(e)和(f)以0.2至2.0,优选地0.5至1.5的重量比(e)/(f)存在。
11.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的光催化组合物,其中所述负载的硅烷(g)呈其中至少95重量%具有不大于100μ,优选地不大于80μ的尺寸的颗粒形式。
12.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的光催化组合物,其还包含:(h)至少一种疏水性乙烯基聚合物,优选为氯乙烯、乙烯和乙烯基酯CH2=CH-O-C(=O)-R的三元共聚物,其中R为直链或分支链C4-C24烷基。
13.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的光催化组合物,其还包含:(i)至少一种长链羧酸盐。
14.根据权利要求1至13中任一项所述的水泥基光催化组合物用于涂覆建筑人造物以便减少污染剂的存在的用途。
15.根据权利要求14所述的用途,其中水以预定比例添加到所述光催化组合物中,通过混合直到获得均匀的流体产品。
16.根据权利要求15所述的用途,其中水与水泥粘合剂(a)之间的重量比为0.2至0.8。
17.根据权利要求14至16中任一项所述的用途,其中在应用并干燥之后,所述光催化组合物形成具有0.05mm至1mm,优选地0.1mm至0.5mm的厚度的涂覆层。
18.根据权利要求1至13中任一项所述的水泥基光催化组合物用于涂覆由金属、木材或塑料材料例如聚氯乙烯(PVC)制成的表面的用途。
