Abstract
本发明公开了一种阵列基板、其驱动方法及显示面板,在每一列像素两侧分别设置数据线,且相邻两列像素之间设置有两条数据线;以相邻的两行像素为一像素组,位于各像素组的相邻两行像素之间设置一条栅线,且同一像素组中的两行像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该两行像素之间的栅线相连;同一像素组中沿列方向相邻的两个像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该像素两侧的一条数据线相连,且沿列方向相邻的两个像素所连接的数据线不相同。由于与同一栅线相连的沿列方向相邻的两个像素连接的是两条不同的数据线,因此这种结构可以通过分别控制这两条数据线的电压实现这两个像素对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度不一样,从而实现多畴显示。

技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤指一种阵列基板、其驱动方法及显示面板。
背景技术
在平板显示装置中,薄膜晶体管液晶显示器(Thin Film Transistor LiquidCrystal Display,简称TFT-LCD)具有体积小、功耗低、制造成本相对较低和无辐射等特点,在当前的平板显示器市场占据了主导地位。常见的液晶显示器可用作手机显示屏、Note Book显示屏、GPS显示屏、液晶电视的显示屏等。随着科学技术的进步,传统的单畴液晶显示器由于对比度低、视角不对称、不同角度观看显示画面会出现色偏等缺点,已经不能满足人们对液晶显示器的要求。多畴显示技术逐步发展起来,所谓多畴显示,就是在一个亚像素内再分成不同的区域,不同区域的液晶的偏转程度不同,从不同角度观看液晶屏时,都是看到的各个区域的液晶偏转的综合效果,从而降低了因为像素内所有液晶偏转相同带来的不同角度上的对比度差异,进而降低色偏,增大视角。
目前,实现多畴液晶显示器的方法包括:(1)将液晶显示器中的一个像素划分为多个子像素,在多个子像素区域内分别进行不同的摩擦取向使液晶分子形成不同的初始排列,然后在施加电压的过程中形成多畴态,实现多畴显示;(2)在像素电极下方制作数条凸起物,使特殊形状的像素电极与上玻璃基板的公共电极之间形成斜向电场,液晶分子沿着电场方向排列形成多畴态,实现多畴显示;(3)通过构造多畴化像素电极实现多畴显示。但上述方法均存在制造工艺复杂、工艺成本高、难度大且不易实现的问题。
发明内容
有鉴于此,本发明实施例提供了一种阵列基板、其驱动方法及显示面板,通过设计像素排列方式实现多畴显。
本发明实施例提供的一种阵列基板,包括呈矩阵排列的多个像素,以及分别与各所述像素一一对应连接的开关器件;还包括:设置在每一列像素两侧的数据线,且相邻两列像素之间设置有两条数据线;
以相邻的两行像素为一像素组,所述阵列基板还包括位于各所述像素组的相邻两行像素之间的一条栅线,且同一所述像素组中的两行像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于所述两行像素之间的栅线相连;
同一所述像素组中沿列方向相邻的两个像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于所述像素两侧的一条数据线相连,且所述沿列方向相邻的两个像素所连接的数据线不相同。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,所述开关器件为薄膜晶体管。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,同一所述像素组中,属于第一行的各所述像素的面积相同;属于第二行的各所述像素的面积相同。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,同一所述像素组中,沿列方向相邻的两个像素的面积比例等于所述两个像素对应的薄膜晶体管的沟道宽度的比例。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,同一列像素中,属于奇数行像素组中的第一行像素与属于偶数行像素组中的第二行像素连接的数据线相同;或者,
同一列像素中,属于奇数行像素组中的第一行像素与属于偶数行像素组中的第一行像素连接的数据线相同。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,还包括与各所述栅线连接的栅极驱动器,以及与各所述数据线连接的源极驱动器;其中,
所述栅极驱动器用于在一帧时间内逐行扫描各所述栅线;
所述源极驱动器用于,在所述栅极驱动器扫描第n条栅线时,通过向各所述数据线施加数据信号实现向与第n条栅线连接的各像素施加数据信号,且所述源极驱动器向与第n条栅线连接的且沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反;其中n取1~N的整数,N为所述阵列基板上栅线的数量。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,所述源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,所述源极驱动器向沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,所述源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,所述源极驱动器向所有奇数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同,所述源极驱动器向所有偶数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。

本发明有益效果如下:
本发明实施例提供的一种阵列基板、其驱动方法及显示面板,在每一列像素两侧分别设置数据线,且相邻两列像素之间设置有两条数据线;以相邻的两行像素为一像素组,位于各像素组的相邻两行像素之间设置一条栅线,且同一像素组中的两行像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该两行像素之间的栅线相连;同一像素组中沿列方向相邻的两个像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该像素两侧的一条数据线相连,且沿列方向相邻的两个像素所连接的数据线不相同。由于与同一栅线相连的沿列方向相邻的两个像素连接的是两条不同的数据线,因此这种结构可以通过分别控制这两条数据线的电压实现这两个像素对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度不一样,从而实现多畴显示。

为了使本发明的目的、技术方案和优点更加清楚,下面将结合附图对本发明作进一步地详细描述,显然,所描述的实施例仅是本发明一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。基于本发明中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有做出创造性劳动前提下所获得的所有其它实施例,都属于本发明保护的范围。
附图中各部件的形状和大小不反映阵列基板的真实比例,目的只是示意说明本发明内容。
本发明实施例提供的一种阵列基板,如图1a至图2b所示,包括呈矩阵排列的多个像素01,以及分别与各像素01一一对应连接的开关器件02;还包括:设置在每一列像素01两侧的数据线data,且相邻两列像素01之间设置有两条数据线data;
以相邻的两行像素01为一像素组1,阵列基板还包括位于各像素组1的相邻两行像素01之间的一条栅线gate,且同一像素组1中的两行像素01分别通过各自对应的开关器件02与位于该两行像素01之间的栅线gate相连;
同一像素组1中沿列方向相邻的两个像素01分别通过各自对应的开关器件02与位于该像素两侧的一条数据线data相连,且沿列方向相邻的两个像素01所连接的数据线data不相同。
本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板,在每一列像素两侧分别设置数据线,且相邻两列像素之间设置有两条数据线;以相邻的两行像素为一像素组,位于各像素组的相邻两行像素之间设置一条栅线,且同一像素组中的两行像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该两行像素之间的栅线相连;同一像素组中沿列方向相邻的两个像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该像素两侧的一条数据线相连,且沿列方向相邻的两个像素所连接的数据线不相同。由于与同一栅线相连的沿列方向相邻的两个像素连接的是两条不同的数据线,因此这种结构可以通过分别控制这两条数据线的电压实现这两个像素对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度不一样,从而实现多畴显示。
需要说明的是,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,将栅线延伸方向定义为行方向,将数据线延伸方向定义为列方向。
在具体实施时,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,开关器件可以为薄膜晶体管,在此不作限定。
进一步地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,如图1a至图2b所示,同一像素组1中,属于第一行的各像素01的面积相同;属于第二行的各像素01的面积相同。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,同一像素组中,沿列方向相邻的两个像素的面积比例等于两个像素对应的薄膜晶体管的沟道宽度的比例,从而确保该两个像素充放电的同步性。
可选地,为了简化制作,在本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,如图1a和图1b所示,同一列像素01中,属于奇数行像素组1中的第一行像素01与属于偶数行像素组1中的第二行像素01连接的数据线data相同;
或者,如图2a和图2b所示,同一列像素01中,属于奇数行像素组1中的第一行像素01与属于偶数行像素组1中的第一行像素01连接的数据线data相同。
下面通过具体实施例进一步详细说明本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板实现多畴显示的方式。
实施例一、
进一步地,本发明实施例提供的上述阵列基板中,还包括与各栅线连接的栅极驱动器,以及与各数据线连接的源极驱动器;其中,
栅极驱动器用于在一帧时间内逐行扫描各栅线;
源极驱动器用于,在栅极驱动器扫描第n条栅线时,通过向各数据线施加数据信号实现向与第n条栅线连接的各像素施加数据信号,且源极驱动器向与第n条栅线连接的且沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反;其中n取1~N的整数,N为阵列基板上栅线的数量。其中在一帧时间内,施加在阵列基板的各像素01上的数据信号的极性示意图分别如图3a和图3b所示,由图3a和图3b可以看出,施加在任意像素组1中沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素01上的数据信号的极性均不相同,从而导致该两个像素01对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度不一样,进而实现多畴显示。
实施例二:
为了进一步提高多畴显示的效果,在实施例一提供的阵列基板的基础上,源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反。其中在一帧时间内,施加在阵列基板的各像素01上的数据信号的极性示意图分别如图4a和图4b所示。由图4a和图4b可以看出,施加沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素01上的数据信号的极性均不相同,从而导致该两个像素01对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度不一样,进而进一步提高多畴显示的效果。
实施例三:
进一步地,在实施例二提供的阵列基板的基础上,源极驱动器向沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反。其中在一帧时间内,施加在阵列基板的各像素01上的数据信号的极性示意图分别如图5a和图5b所示,在一帧时间内施加在各数据线data上的数据信号的时序图分别如图6a和图6b所示。由图5a和图5b可以看出,施加在任意相邻的两个像素01上的数据信号的极性均不相同,即采用点反转的驱动方式,可以使任意相邻两个像素01对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度均不一样,以最大限度的实现多畴显示的效果,并且由图6a和图6b可知,采用点反转的驱动方式在时序也容易控制。
实施例四、
为了进一步提高多畴显示的效果,在实施例一提供的阵列基板的基础上,源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。其中在一帧时间内,施加在阵列基板的各像素01上的数据信号的极性示意图分别如图7a和图7b所示。由图7a和图7b可以看出,施加在同一像素组1中相邻的任意两行像素01上的数据信号的极性均不相同,从而导致该两行像素01对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度不一样,进而进一步提高多畴显示的效果。
实施例五、
可选地,在实施例四提供的阵列基板的基础上,源极驱动器向所有奇数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同,源极驱动器向所有偶数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。其中在一帧时间内,施加在阵列基板的各像素01上的数据信号的极性示意图分别如图8a和图8b所示。在一帧时间内施加在各数据线data上的数据信号的时序图分别如图9a和图9b所示。由图8a和图8b可以看出,施加在任意相邻的两行像素01上的数据信号的极性均不相同,即采用行反转的驱动方式,可以使任意相邻两行像素01对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度均不一样,从而实现多畴显示的效果,并且由图9a和图9b可知,采用行反转的驱动方式在时序也容易控制。
实施例六、
可选地,在实施例四提供的阵列基板的基础上,源极驱动器向位于奇数行像素组中的第一行像素施加的数据信号的极性,与向位于偶数行像素组中的第二行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。其中在一帧时间内,施加在阵列基板的各像素01上的数据信号的极性示意图分别如图10a和图10b所示。在一帧时间内施加在各数据线data上的数据信号的时序图分别如图11a和图11b所示。由图10a和图10b可以看出,施加在同一像素组1中相邻的两行像01上的数据信号的极性均不相同,即采用行反转的驱动方式,可以使同一像素组中相邻两行像素对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度均不一样,从而实现多畴显示的效果,并且由图11a和图11b可知,采用行反转的驱动方式在时序也容易控制。
需要说明的是,在图6a和图6b、图9a和图9b、以及图11a和图11b中,gate1、gate2、gate3和gate4分别表示由上向下数第n(n=1、2、3、4)条栅线gate上的扫描信号,data1、data2、data3、…、data12分别表示由左向第m(m=1、2、3、…、12)条数据线data上的数据信号。
基于同一发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了如图1a至图2b所示的阵列基板的驱动方法,包括:
栅极驱动器在一帧时间内逐行扫描各栅线;其中,在栅极驱动器扫描第n条栅线时,源极驱动器通过向各数据线施加数据信号实现向与第n条栅线连接的各像素施加数据信号,且源极驱动器向与第n条栅线连接的且沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反;其中n取1~N的整数,N为阵列基板上栅线的数量。
可选地,在本发明实施例提供的上述驱动方法中,源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反。

基于同一发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种显示面板,包括本发明实施例提供的上述任一种阵列基板。由于该显示面板解决问题的原理与前述一种阵列基板相似,因此该显示面板的实施可以参见前述阵列基板的实施,重复之处不再赘述。
本发明实施例提供的一种阵列基板、其驱动方法及显示面板,在每一列像素两侧分别设置数据线,且相邻两列像素之间设置有两条数据线;以相邻的两行像素为一像素组,位于各像素组的相邻两行像素之间设置一条栅线,且同一像素组中的两行像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该两行像素之间的栅线相连;同一像素组中沿列方向相邻的两个像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于该像素两侧的一条数据线相连,且沿列方向相邻的两个像素所连接的数据线不相同。由于与同一栅线相连的沿列方向相邻的两个像素连接的是两条不同的数据线,因此这种结构可以通过分别控制这两条数据线的电压实现这两个像素对应区域的液晶分子的转动角度不一样,从而实现多畴显示。
显然,本领域的技术人员可以对本发明进行各种改动和变型而不脱离本发明的精神和范围。这样,倘若本发明的这些修改和变型属于本发明权利要求及其等同技术的范围之内,则本发明也意图包含这些改动和变型在内。
Claims (18)
1.一种阵列基板,包括呈矩阵排列的多个像素,以及分别与各所述像素一一对应连接的开关器件;其特征在于,还包括:设置在每一列像素两侧的数据线,且相邻两列像素之间设置有两条数据线;
以相邻的两行像素为一像素组,所述阵列基板还包括位于各所述像素组的相邻两行像素之间的一条栅线,且同一所述像素组中的两行像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于所述两行像素之间的栅线相连;
同一所述像素组中沿列方向相邻的两个像素分别通过各自对应的开关器件与位于所述像素两侧的一条数据线相连,且所述沿列方向相邻的两个像素所连接的数据线不相同。
2.如权利要求1所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,所述开关器件为薄膜晶体管。
3.如权利要求2所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,同一所述像素组中,属于第一行的各所述像素的面积相同;属于第二行的各所述像素的面积相同。
4.如权利要求3所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,同一所述像素组中,沿列方向相邻的两个像素的面积比例等于所述两个像素对应的薄膜晶体管的沟道宽度的比例。
5.如权利要求1-4任一项所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,同一列像素中,属于奇数行像素组中的第一行像素与属于偶数行像素组中的第二行像素连接的数据线相同;或者,
同一列像素中,属于奇数行像素组中的第一行像素与属于偶数行像素组中的第一行像素连接的数据线相同。
6.如权利要求5所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,还包括与各所述栅线连接的栅极驱动器,以及与各所述数据线连接的源极驱动器;其中,
所述栅极驱动器用于在一帧时间内逐行扫描各所述栅线;
所述源极驱动器用于,在所述栅极驱动器扫描第n条栅线时,通过向各所述数据线施加数据信号实现向与第n条栅线连接的各像素施加数据信号,且所述源极驱动器向与第n条栅线连接的且沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反;其中n取1~N的整数,N为所述阵列基板上栅线的数量。
7.如权利要求6所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反。
8.如权利要求7所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器向沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反。
9.如权利要求6所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。
10.如权利要求9所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器向所有奇数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同,所述源极驱动器向所有偶数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。
11.如权利要求9所述的阵列基板,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器向位于奇数行像素组中的第一行像素施加的数据信号的极性,与向位于偶数行像素组中的第二行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。
12.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括如权利要求1-11任一项所述的阵列基板。
13.一种如权利要求6所述的阵列基板的驱动方法,其特征在于,包括:
所述栅极驱动器在一帧时间内逐行扫描各所述栅线;其中,在所述栅极驱动器扫描第n条栅线时,所述源极驱动器通过向各所述数据线施加数据信号实现向与第n条栅线连接的各像素施加数据信号,且所述源极驱动器向与第n条栅线连接的且沿列方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相反;其中n取1~N的整数,N为所述阵列基板上栅线的数量。

16.如权利要求13所述的驱动方法,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器向沿行方向相邻的任意两个像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。
17.如权利要求16所述的驱动方法,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器向所有奇数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同,所述源极驱动器向所有偶数行像素施加的数据信号的极性相同。
