Abstract
本发明涉及一种OLED显示装置及其制备方法。所述OLED显示装置包括自下而上的基体、OLED器件、薄膜内层、乙基纤维素层、薄膜外层。本发明通过在现在薄膜封装的基础上,增加疏水性的乙基纤维素层(内部溶解有光敏材料和单线态氧受体),能够起到阻隔水汽,吸收氧气的作用,从而提升器件的寿命。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种OLED显示装置及其制备方法,属于OLED封装技术领域。
背景技术
研究表明,空气中的水汽和氧气等成分对OLED的寿命影响很大,其原因主要是做阴极的这些金属如铝、镁、钙等比较活波,易与渗透进来的水汽发生反应;另外,水汽还会与空穴传输层以及电子传输层(ETL)发生化学反应,引起器件失效。因此,对OLED进行有效封装,使器件的各功能层与大气中的水汽、氧气等成分隔开,就可以大大延长器件寿命。但之前报道的薄膜封装包括无机膜封装,有机膜封装,无机-有机膜复合封装等等多种工艺,都不能做到100%阻隔水汽和氧气。如何提供一种OLED封装方法,可有效起到阻隔水汽,吸收氧气的作用显得格外重要。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种OLED显示装置及其制备方法。通过在薄膜封装基础上增加疏水性的乙基纤维素层(内部溶解有机光敏材料和单线态氧受体材料),可有效起到阻隔水汽,吸收氧气的作用,从而提升器件的寿命。
为了实现上述目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:
一种OLED显示装置,包括自下而上的基体、OLED器件、薄膜内层、乙基纤维素层、薄膜外层。
本发明所述OLED显示装置中,所述乙基纤维素层包括有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素。所述有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素的摩尔比为1-3:1-3:2-4;优选比例为2:2:3。研究中发现乙基纤维素层的组成与配比对于OLED显示装置的封装影响较大,既要保证阻隔一定水汽,又要确保能够吸收氧气,对乙基纤维素层的材料组成和具体用量比例提出更为精确的要求。通过大量实验验证,在上述组成以特定比例制作时,所得乙基纤维素层能够较好的实现阻隔水汽,吸收氧气的作用,更有利于提升器件的寿命。
本发明所述OLED显示装置中,所述乙基纤维素层还可包括烯基琥珀酸酐(ASA)。
本发明所述OLED显示装置中,所述有机光敏材料选自大Π共轭有机分子与金属组成的配合物(如金属卟啉、金属酞菁)、玫瑰红、荧光黄、丫啶红、亚甲基蓝中的一种或多种。
本发明所述OLED显示装置中,所述单线态氧受体材料选自可与单烯烃反应的物质,或者选自与链状、环状、芳香或杂环芳香型共轭π键发生Diels-AlDer型反应的物质,或者选自与带有N、O或S等给电子杂原子活泼双键反应的物质,或者选自与类胡萝卜素、胺类、酚类、硫醚、杂环类化合物发生较复杂的反应的物质。优选地,所述单线态氧受体材料选自β-胡萝卜素。
本发明所述OLED显示装置中,所述薄膜内层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得;所述薄膜外层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得。
本发明还提供一种OLED显示装置的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
1)在基体上制作OLED器件,对OLED器件形成薄膜内层,并封装;
2)在薄膜内层表面形成乙基纤维素层,并封装;
3)在乙基纤维素层表面形成薄膜外层,并封装。
本发明所述的OLED显示装置的制备方法中,所述乙基纤维素层由如下方法制得:
(1)将乙基纤维素(EC)置于溶剂中搅拌使其溶解,再加入有机光敏材料和单线态氧受体材料,混合均匀,静置,待气泡消失;
(2)将上步骤所得混合液均匀的涂在薄膜内层上,自然干燥,烘干,形成乙基纤维素层。
其中,所述步骤(1)中,所述溶剂为三氯甲烷。
其中,所述步骤(1)中,还可加入烯基琥珀酸酐。
其中,所述步骤(2)中,所述混合液涂在薄膜内层上,自然干燥24小时后,转移到真空烘箱80℃干燥,形成乙基纤维素层。
本发明通过在现在薄膜封装的基础上,增加疏水性的乙基纤维素层(内部溶解有机光敏材料和单线态氧受体材料),当氧气透过有机薄膜进来,光照激发的光敏染料分子就会将渗透进来的氧分子敏化成单线态氧,此单线态氧分子与受体分子反应而被消耗掉,就不会有氧气透过封装薄膜,以达到阻隔水汽,吸收氧气的作用,从而提升器件的寿命。

本发明提供一种OLED显示装置,包括自下而上的基体、OLED器件、薄膜内层、乙基纤维素层、薄膜外层。通过在薄膜内层上增加含有有机光敏材料和单线态氧受体的疏水性乙基纤维素层,使OLED显示装置具有阻隔水汽,吸收氧气的功效,从而提升器件的寿命。

所述乙基纤维素具有热稳定性好的特点。在燃烧时,其灰分极低,能生成坚韧薄膜;而在低温时,仍能保持挠曲性,无毒,有极强的抗生物性能和代谢惰性。乙基纤维素的具体特点如下:
1.不易燃烧。
2.热稳定性好,有优良的热塑性、
3.对日光不变色。
4.柔韧性好。
5.介电性好。
6.优良的耐碱性,耐弱酸性。
7.防老化性能好。
8.耐盐、耐寒性、耐吸湿性好。
9.对化学品稳定,长期储存不变质。
10.可与许多树脂配伍,与所有的增塑剂有良好的配伍性
11.在强碱性环境和受热条件下易变色。
本发明在乙基纤维素中加入有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料,所制得的乙基纤维素层可有效阻隔水汽,吸收氧气。所述乙基纤维素层至少包括有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素;优选有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素以摩尔比为2:2:3混合制备。
为了进一步提高乙基纤维素层的强度,强化封装效果,还可在乙基纤维素中加入适量的烯基琥珀酸酐(ASA)。
所述有机光敏材料选自大Π共轭有机分子与金属组成的配合物(如金属卟啉、金属酞菁)、玫瑰红、荧光黄、丫啶红、亚甲基蓝中的一种或多种。
所述单线态氧受体材料选自可与单烯烃反应的物质,或者选自与链状、环状、芳香或杂环芳香型共轭π键发生Diels-AlDer型反应的物质;或者选自与带有N、O或S等给电子杂原子的活泼双键反应的物质;或者选自与类胡萝卜素、胺类、酚类、硫醚、杂环类化合物发生较复杂的反应的物质。优选地,所述单线态氧受体材料选自β-胡萝卜素。
本发明所述OLED装置工作时,当从薄膜外层渗透进来的氧气和水汽遇到乙基纤维素层时,由于乙基纤维素膜的疏水性,水汽被有效阻隔;同时在光照作用下,激发的有机光敏材料就会将渗透进来的氧分子敏化成单线态氧,此单线态氧分子可与单线态氧受体材料反应,进而被消耗掉,由此实现阻隔水汽,吸收氧气,提升器件寿命的效果。
其中,光敏化反应如下:
S+hv→1S*
1S*→3S*
3S*+O2→1O2(单线态氧);
单线态氧反应如下:
所述薄膜内层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得;所述薄膜外层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得。
本发明还提供一种OLED显示装置的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
1)在基体上制作OLED器件,对OLED器件形成薄膜内层,并封装;
2)在薄膜内层表面形成乙基纤维素层,并封装;
3)在乙基纤维素层表面形成薄膜外层,并封装。
其中,所述乙基纤维素层由如下方法制得:
(1)将乙基纤维素(EC)置于溶剂中搅拌使其溶解,再加入有机光敏材料和单线态氧受体材料,混合均匀,静置,待气泡消失;
(2)将上步骤所得混合液均匀的涂在薄膜内层上,自然干燥,烘干,形成乙基纤维素层。
其中,所述步骤(1)中,所述溶剂为三氯甲烷。
其中,所述步骤(1)中,还可加入烯基琥珀酸酐。
其中,所述步骤(2)中,所述混合液涂在薄膜内层上,自然干燥24小时后,转移到真空烘箱80℃干燥,形成乙基纤维素层。
本发明通过在现在薄膜封装的基础上,增加疏水性的乙基纤维素层(内部溶解有光敏材料和单线态氧受体),能够起到阻隔水汽,吸收氧气的作用,从而提升器件的寿命。
实施例1一种OLED显示装置
一种OLED显示装置,如图1所示,包括自下而上的基体1、OLED器件2、薄膜内层3、乙基纤维素层4、薄膜外层5。
其中,所述乙基纤维素层由金属铁卟啉、β-胡萝卜素、乙基纤维素、ASA以摩尔比2:2:3:2混合制得;
其中,所述薄膜内层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得;所述薄膜外层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得。
实施例2一种OLED显示装置
一种OLED显示装置,如图1所示,包括自下而上的基体1、OLED器件2、薄膜内层3、乙基纤维素层4、薄膜外层5。
其中,所述乙基纤维素层由金属铁卟啉、β-胡萝卜素、乙基纤维素以摩尔比2:2:3混合制得;
其中,所述薄膜内层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得;所述薄膜外层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得。
实施例3一种OLED显示装置的制备方法
一种OLED显示装置的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
1)在基体上制作OLED器件,对OLED器件进行薄膜内层封装;
2)在薄膜内层表面制作乙基纤维素层,并封装;
3)在乙基纤维素层表面进行薄膜外层封装。
其中,所述乙基纤维素层由如下方法制得:
(1)将乙基纤维素(EC)置于三氯甲烷中搅拌使其溶解,再加入金属铁卟啉、β-胡萝卜素,混合均匀,静置,待气泡消失;或者在加入乙基纤维素的同时加入ASA;
(2)将上步骤所得混合液均匀的涂在薄膜内层上,自然干燥24小时后,转移到真空烘箱80℃干燥,形成乙基纤维素层。
Ca电学测试
我们利用Ca电学测试系统进行对比试测,测试系统结构如图2所示,基本原理就是在基板上制作Ca层,再用薄膜封装,然后测试Ca层1/R随时间变化的归一化曲线,并观察OLED显示装置的外观。具体操作方法如下:
1)我们通过Ca电学测试方法,分别测试了高温200℃下,现有有机薄膜封装的OLED显示装置(对比例1)和实施例1所述OELD显示装置的水氧阻隔性能,共测试80h,每2h取一次数据记录如表1所示:

由表1可知,从10h开始,对比例1的水样阻隔性能开始下降,至30h左右,已经与本发明实施例1所述OELD装置差距较为明显,而在60h以后,对比例1明显下降,而本发明实施例1所述OELD装置仍保持较好的水氧阻隔性能。
2)Ca层1/R随时间变化的归一化浓度曲线图如图3所示。根据测试原理,当Ca与水氧发生反应,发生反应的部分电导率降低,薄膜电阻增大,图中曲线表现为电导率减少,由此可以看出本专利方案的对于水氧的阻隔效果要好。反应方程式:
2Ca+O2→2CaO,Ca+H2O→CaO+H2,CaO+H2O→Ca(OH)2
3)图4为测试后对比例1的OLED显示装置与实施例1的显示装置的主视图。从图中可知,现有有机膜封装的装置明显氧化发黑,而本发明实施例1所得OLED装置显示正常。
虽然,上文中已经用一般性说明及具体实施方案对本发明作了详尽的描述,但在本发明基础上,可以对之作一些修改或改进,这对本领域技术人员而言是显而易见的。因此,在不偏离本发明精神的基础上所做的这些修改或改进,均属于本发明要求保护的范围。
Claims (9)
1.一种OLED显示装置,其特征在于,包括自下而上的基体、OLED器件、薄膜内层、乙基纤维素层、薄膜外层;
所述乙基纤维素层包括有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素;
所述有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素的摩尔比为1-3:1-3:2-4。
2.根据权利要求1所述的OLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素的摩尔比为2:2:3。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的OLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述有机光敏材料选自大Π共轭有机分子与金属组成的配合物、玫瑰红、荧光黄、丫啶红、亚甲基蓝中的一种或多种。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的OLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述单线态氧受体材料选自与单烯烃反应的物质;
或者选自与链状、环状、芳香或杂环芳香型共轭π键发生Diels-AlDer型反应的物质;
或者选自与带有N、O或S给电子杂原子的活泼双键反应的物质;
或者选自与类胡萝卜素、胺类、酚类、硫醚、杂环类化合物发生反应的物质。
5.根据权利要求1所述的OLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述薄膜内层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得;所述薄膜外层是由聚对二甲苯薄膜制得。
6.一种OLED显示装置的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
1)在基体上制作OLED器件,对OLED器件形成薄膜内层,并封装;
2)在薄膜内层表面形成乙基纤维素层,并封装;
3)在乙基纤维素层表面形成薄膜外层,并封装;
所述乙基纤维素层包括有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素;
所述有机光敏材料、单线态氧受体材料、乙基纤维素的摩尔比为1-3:1-3:2-4。
7.根据权利要求6所述的制备方法,其特征在于,所述乙基纤维素层由如下方法制得:
步骤(1),将乙基纤维素置于溶剂中搅拌使其溶解,再加入有机光敏材料和单线态氧受体材料,混合均匀;
步骤(2),将上步骤所得混合液均匀的涂在薄膜内层上,干燥,烘干,形成乙基纤维素层。
8.根据权利要求7所述的制备方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(1)中,所述溶剂为三氯甲烷。
9.根据权利要求7所述的制备方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(2)中,所述混合液涂在薄膜内层上,自然干燥24小时后,转移到真空烘箱80℃干燥,形成乙基纤维素层。
