技术领域
本发明涉及一种特别有用于管线配件的夹紧元件。更特别的是,本发明提供一种可用于管线配件和管线接头的夹紧元件,用来夹紧塑料或金属的管、或者任何其它材料。
背景技术
在过去,所有的管道都使用金属制成,或者通常使用金属制成,如今塑料管道被广泛使用,并且发现其适用于许多应用领域。塑料管道广泛应用于电缆、下水道、排水系统的防护和其中管道直径较小以用于处于压力下的水的情形。尺寸较大的塑料管道适于内部压力较小或者不存在内部压力的情形,并且适于不暴露在太阳辐射下的应用。本发明特别涉及一种通常在50mm-200mm的范围内的中等尺寸的管道。许多现有技术的设计适合于50mm以下的管道,而在200以上的范围适于使用带夹。本发明涉及一种夹紧器脚,同一夹具可以有效地应用于支承金属或者塑料管道的配件。
就本发明而言,应该注意的是,其不仅仅涉及比塑料更硬的金属,还涉及比塑料的杨氏模量大10倍的金属。然而,如果带尖头工具被挤压在塑料管道的外部,则与同一工具和相同的力施加于相同尺寸的钢管相比,该工具将会更深地刺入管道并且使管道产生更大程度的变形。因而,现有技术的例如适合于3〞钢管的管道接头将不适用于塑料制成的具有相同壁厚的3〞管道。
这些考虑还扩展到例如作为制造工艺的一部分的材料供给的应用中。夹紧单元对于向压具供给片材是有用的,所述压具有时用于制造金属物品,而在其它时候用于制造由金属以外的材料制成的物品。
以下对最近的美国专利的简单描述提供了对现有技术状态的评估。
在Saito等人的美国专利No.6,019,396中公开了一种具有保持构件的管道接头,其可轴向压缩以抵抗将管道分离的轴向力。由于复杂的外部形状,允许两种不同程度的压缩,以便应对塑料管和钢管。然而,关于钢管的保持有一些怀疑,这是因为保持构件不会穿透钢管的外层。
Demore等人在美国专利No.6,106,029中要求保护的是,他们设计的管道接头具有用于塑料管和钢管的改进的拉出阻力。所使用的锁定环需要多个弧形间隔开的槽,以用来可滑动地支撑各个夹紧器段,这要求实现相对于管道端部的穿透性限制夹紧。由于所述夹紧器与钢管形成线接触,因而为了穿透管道的表面需要非常高的压力。
Hulsechos等人在美国专利No.6,481,755中公开的接头存在一个相似的缺陷。保持力的增加是通过在夹紧环上按压出的凹槽提供的,这是一种复杂且高成本的结构。
小Robinson在美国专利No.6,565,125中公开的复合管道接头呈现了众所周知的轴向移动的锥形锁。该设计包括螺栓,所述螺栓具有与被保持在接头中的管道相切的轴线,用来限制由夹圈施加的力。当螺栓固定在硬质材料上而较软的材料被夹紧时,以及当螺栓固定在较软的材料制成的管道上而硬质材料被夹紧时,螺栓需要进行调节。在安装过程中,螺栓被错误调节的风险很大。
Isenam等人在美国专利申请No.2002/0101080中提出了一种高夹紧接头。这种设计需要对管道端部中的一个端部进行机械加工和型锻,这在现场是无法实施的,而且这对于长管道来说,甚至在工厂中也是困难的。
发明内容
本发明的目的
鉴于本领域的现状,本发明的一个当前的目的是消除现有技术中夹紧装置的缺陷,并且提供一种适于夹紧金属和塑料制品的装置。
本发明进一步的目的是提供一种管道配件,特别是具有改进的拉出阻力且使用了多个本公开所述的夹紧元件的管道接头。
更进一步的目的是提供一种管道接头,其不用调节就能适用于金属和塑料管道。
本发明的概述
本发明通过提供一种夹紧元件实现上述目的,该夹紧元件包括支撑着金属板的楔形结构,所述板的暴露的外表面设有大夹紧齿和小夹紧齿,所述大齿比所述小齿更多地从所述金属板的表面突出。
在本发明的优选实施例中,提供了一种用于管道的夹紧环,所述夹紧环包括外环,所述外环具有绕所述夹紧环的内周分布的多个间隔开的夹紧元件,所述夹紧元件的齿向内面朝所述环的中心,并且其中所述夹紧环的壁位于一锥形平面上。
在本发明的最优选实施例中,提供一种管道配件,其包括外体、如在前段描述的夹紧环以及与所述外体相关联的夹具,所述夹具用于将所述夹紧环压靠于金属或者塑料管道的表面。
在本发明的另一优选实施例中,提供一种管道配件,其是设有两个轴向间隔开的夹紧环的管道接头。
可以认识到,本发明的新颖的夹紧元件可以用来接触金属或者塑料管道,而不需要任何调节。较大齿的阵列将穿透塑料管道的表面并到达足够的深度来防止轴向抽出。即使较大的齿断裂,较小的且因而更坚固的齿将穿透金属管道的表面。
该夹紧元件通过使用一个或多个冲压工具、由中等硬度的钢合金制作而成。
该夹紧元件适用于另外的应用。
所述的夹紧环可以与各种管道配件组合地使用。
现在看来,该夹紧环最重要的应用是用于中等管径的管道接头,可以预期,管道将承受在使用时会出现的轴向力。这种力可能源于热收缩、管道的弯曲或者内部流体压力。
现在将参照附图对本发明进行进一步描述,附图展示了本发明的优选实施例。结构性细节的展示仅仅出于对其基本理解的需要。所描述的实施例与附图一起将使本领域技术人员明了如何实现本发明进一步的形式。

具体实施例
图1和图2示出了一个由钢板制成的夹紧元件10。图1示出该夹紧元件的内部,其中可以看到该元件所有的壁12、14、16、18。在图2中,可以看到两种不同尺寸的齿的阵列。成角度的侧壁12、16使元件10成为楔形结构。暴露的顶部外表面20是钢板,其与所有四个壁成一体。
该夹紧元件10设有大夹紧齿22和小夹紧齿24的阵列。所有齿22、24的尖锐边面向两个端壁中较高的端壁14,大齿22比小齿24更多地从顶部外表面20的表面突出。
参照其余的附图,相似的附图标记用来表示相同的部件。
图3示出夹紧环26,用于在参照附图4描述的管道配件中使用。该环26保持多个间隔开的夹紧元件28,所述夹紧元件沿径向绕夹紧环的周围均匀地分布。该夹紧元件28与参照图1和图2描述的夹紧元件10相同,除了设有底部罩盖30。
夹紧元件的所有齿22、24向内面朝环26的中心。带齿的表面20共同形成平行于管道表面32、并且直径略大于如图4所示的管道直径的内表面。夹紧元件28的底部表面30组合地形成一锥形切口的一段的一部分,与锥形底部平行。
底部30的一个优点是,强化该夹紧元件28的结构。进一步地,在使用时承受高的压缩力的底部30可以更好地沿着图5所示的位于锥形螺母外壳36的内表面上的锥面52滑动。因此,需要较小的力矩来拧紧锥形螺母外壳36。
现在转向图4,其中示出了用于管道配件的管道保持装置34的外螺纹部分,所述管道配件例如是阀、水龙头、管道接头、过滤器、流量计等。锥形螺母外壳36具有比被容纳在其中的管道32略大的中心孔38。用于拧紧该螺母外壳36的扳手槽40被设置于外表面42上。图3所示的夹紧环26在管道被插入孔38之后将被插在该管道32上。弹性衬垫44也滑过该管道32。随后该锥形螺母外壳36被拧紧在螺纹中空部件46上,并且其可被锁定螺母48锁定于此。
由于该锥形螺母外壳36被拧紧,该弹性衬垫44被压缩,从而密封位于螺纹中空部件46和锥形螺母外壳36之间的空间。同时,该锥形螺母外壳36对夹紧环26施加压力,并使齿22、24穿透管道32的外径。
现在参考图5,其中示出了管道配件,其是具有两个轴向间隔开的夹紧环26的管道接头50,在附图中仅仅可以看到其中的一个夹紧环。部件26、36、38、40、42、46和48都与在前一附图中所看到的相同。

Claims (4)

1.一种用于管道的夹紧环(26),包括:
多个夹紧元件(10、28),所述夹紧元件(28)彼此沿径向间隔开以形成环,每个夹紧元件(10、28)包括四个壁(12、14、16、18)和与所有四个壁成一体的顶部外表面(20),
其特征在于,所述壁中的两个壁包括成角度的侧壁(12、16),所述成角度的侧壁使所述夹紧元件(10)成为楔形结构,
所述板(20)的暴露的外表面设有大夹紧齿(22)和小夹紧齿(24)的阵列,所述大齿(22)比所述小齿(24)从所述板(20)的外表面突出得更多,并且其中所述小夹紧齿(24)布置为接近所述侧壁(12、16)的外部列,并且所述大夹紧齿(22)布置为在所述小夹紧齿(24)的外部列之间的内部列;
其中所有所述齿(22、24)的尖锐边面向两个端壁(14、18)中较高的端壁(14);
其中所述大齿和所述小齿被不同地成形;
多个单独的柔性元件被固定到相邻的夹紧元件(28)的侧部;并且
其中所述夹紧元件(28)的齿(22、24)向内面朝所述环的中心,并且其中所述夹紧元件(28)的与所述齿(22、24)相对的表面(30)位于一锥形平面上,其中所述柔性元件包括弹簧。
2.根据权利要求1所述的夹紧环(26),进一步包括外壳(36),所述外壳(36)用于将所述夹紧环压靠于管道。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的夹紧环(26),包括管道接头(50),所述管道接头(50)包括两个轴向间隔开的夹紧环。
4.权利要求1或2所述的夹紧环(26),其中所述大齿被成形为锥状。
