Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种用于材料的超声波加工且具有至少两个超声焊极的超声波焊接装置。
超声波是可听极限之上的机械振动。其频率范围从大约20KHz延伸到1GHz。这样的超声波频率通常由压电式声换能器(转换器)从电能产生。所述机械振动能量经由连接到转换器的超声焊极、可能地经由变幅器部分(也被成为增压器)施加到要加工的工件或材料上。
超声焊极的用于与待加工材料接触的表面也称为密封面。振动单元因此包括发生器、转换器、可选的变幅器部分和超声焊极。在多种使用情况中,变幅器和超声焊极为一整体。
为了借助于超声波振动单元有效地传输超声波振动,引起超声波振动单元的谐振是必要的。依赖于超声波振动单元的结构,其具有多个固有频率。仅当转换器产生超声波振动单元的固有频率时,超声波振动单元的谐振才发生。因此,转换器和超声波振动单元必须彼此调谐。
当使用超声波加工材料时,被加工的材料通常定位在超声焊极和也被称为砧板的对应工具(其不属于振动结构)之间。与待加工材料接触的超声焊极然后向待加工材料传输超声能量,该材料因此例如被焊接或切断。
在那种情况下,能量在密封面处传输到待加工材料。待加工材料由此也产生振动,以便在待加工材料接触对应工具的表面处也发生能量传递。
即使被加工材料包括多个元件,例如具有2层结构,通过由超声焊极传输到第一层的振动,能量传递也在第一层和第二层之间的限定区域中发生。然而,尤其是在较厚的材料的情况下,其不能由超声焊极引起振动或者仅导致不充分的振动,对应工具和待加工材料之间的能量传递通常不足以进行有效的焊接。
因此WO2010/145927已经提出使用两个同样的超声焊极来加工薄片材料。在该情况下,两个超声焊极被设置成使得待加工材料在加工操作期间被布置在它们之间,并且因此可以被两个超声焊极同时加工。
然而,根据已知的加工工艺,两个超声焊极被完全相同的超声频率激励,其导致一个超声焊极可能受到另一超声焊极的干扰影响并且反之亦然。
因此,以所描述的现有技术为基本出发点,本发明的目的是提供一种超声波焊接装置以允许有效的材料加工而且两个超声焊极之间不会有互相干扰。
根据本发明,为了实现上述目的,至少两个超声焊极被如此设置以使得第一超声焊极可以被固有频率fs1激发并且第二超声焊极可被固有频率fs2激发,其中fs2大于fs1。由此两个超声焊极应各自具有相应设计的转换器以提供各自的固有频率。也就是说,在操作中,一个超声焊极执行超声波振动fs1并且另一个超声焊极执行超声波振动fs2。
现在在材料加工期间,一个超声焊极的超声波振动通过材料传输到没有满足匹配的固有频率的另一超声焊极,以使得第一超声焊极实际上不影响第二超声焊极的振动行为。
期望超声焊极这样构建,即fs2不是fs1的整数倍。更具体地,如果第二超声焊极的固有频率是第一超声焊极的固有频率的整数倍,那么就会涉及较高阶谐波振动的激励并且在两个超声焊极之间产生不利影响。
实际上发现最好是并且优选
例如,第一超声焊极可以在30KHz的频率fs1被激发,而第二超声焊极可以在35KHz的频率fs2被激发。30KHz的振动充分远离第二超声焊极的35KHz的固有频率,以使得在第一超声焊极与第二超声焊极之间几乎没有能量传递。
通过不同的振动频率,超声波加工操作可以被显著的改进,因为现在超声焊极的振动幅度可以被设置成不对其它超声焊极的振动幅度产生影响。
在进一步的优选实施例中,所述至少两个超声焊极分别具有至少一个平坦的密封面部分。
在优选实施例中,超声焊极能在打开位置和关闭位置之间相对于彼此往复运动,其中在打开位置,两个密封面彼此远离地布置并且待加工材料可以被进一步运送,其中在关闭位置,两个密封面彼此靠近地布置并且待加工材料被加工。
在许多应用情形中,将例如倾倒装置(喷嘴)这样的物品焊接到薄片材料中是必要的。在该种情况下,密封表面可具有适当的开口。
尤其地,当将喷嘴焊接到例如饮料包装中时,至少一个超声焊极、优选两个超声焊极具有至少一个弯曲的密封面部分,优选凹形弯曲密封面部分。当加工材料时,要被焊接到正确位置的物品,例如喷嘴,随后装配入凹形弯曲密封面部分中。
在进一步优选的实施例中,至少一个超声焊极并且优选至少两个超声焊极具有两个平坦的密封面部分以及在这两个密封面部分之间的一弯曲密封面部分。
在进一步优选的实施例中,具有至少三个超声焊极,其中所述超声焊极被设置为使得待加工材料在加工操作期间被定位在至少一个超声焊极与至少两个超声焊极之间,其中优选位于待加工材料一侧的超声焊极的总表面面积大致等于位于待加工材料另一侧的超声焊极的总表面面积。
从这方面来说,期望定位在待加工材料相同侧的超声焊极具有相互分隔开的密封面。
同样有利的是,定位在待加工材料一侧的超声焊极的数量不同于定位在待加工材料另一侧的超声焊极的数量。

1.一种用于材料的超声波加工的超声波焊接装置,其包括至少两个超声焊极以及转换器装置,所述转换器装置将交流电压转换为超声波振动并促使所述至少两个超声焊极执行超声波振动,其中所述至少两个超声焊极被设置成使得待加工材料在加工操作期间定位在所述至少两个超声焊极之间并且能够同时被所述至少两个超声焊极加工,其特征在于,所述转换器装置在频率fs1激发第一超声焊极并且在频率fs2激发第二超声焊极,其中fs2大于fs1。
2.如前述权利要求1所述的超声波焊接装置,其特征在于,fs2不是fs1的整数倍。
3.如前述权利要求1或2所述的超声波焊接装置,其特征在于, 并且优选
4.如前述权利要求1-3之一所述的超声波焊接装置,其特征在于,所述至少两个超声焊极分别具有至少一个平坦的密封面部分。
5.如前述权利要求1-4之一所述的超声波焊接装置,其特征在于,至少一个超声焊极,优选两个超声焊极具有至少一个弯曲密封面部分,优选凹形弯曲密封面部分。
6.如前述权利要求5所述的超声波焊接装置,其特征在于,至少一个超声焊极并且优选所述至少两个超声焊极具有两个平坦的密封面部分和布置在这两个密封面部分之间的弯曲密封面部分,优选凹形弯曲密封面部分。
7.如前述权利要求1-6之一所述的超声波焊接装置,其特征在于,所述超声波焊接装置具有至少三个超声焊极,其中所述超声焊极被设置成使得待加工材料在加工操作期间被定位在至少一个超声焊极与至少两个超声焊极之间,其中优选定位在待加工材料一侧的超声焊极的总表面面积大致等于定位在待加工材料另一侧的超声焊极的总表面面积。
8.如前述权利要求7所述的超声波焊接装置,其特征在于,定位在待加工材料同一侧的超声焊极具有相互分隔开的密封面。
