本申请涉及储能器件领域,尤其涉及一种锂离子电池软包装材料及使用该材料的锂离子电池。该软包装材料由外至内依次包括基材层、第一粘接层、金属箔层、防腐蚀处理层、第二粘接层以及密封层;防腐蚀处理层由镍层、镍合金层、铜层以及铜合金层中的至少一层构成,且防腐蚀处理层镀在金属箔层上。该锂离子电池包括裸电芯、电解液以及包装袋,包装袋将裸电芯以及电解液一并包裹,包装袋采用上述锂离子电池软包装材料。本申请所提供的锂离子电池通过采用镀有防腐蚀处理层的软包装材料,抗氢氟酸能力明显提高,并且不易形成锂合金,即使在负极与包装材料短路时也不会析锂,因此可以更好的抵抗电化学腐蚀,增强锂离子电池的使用安全性和增加使用寿命。

本申请涉及储能器件领域,尤其涉及一种锂离子电池软包装材料及使用该材料的锂离子电池。
背景技术
相关技术中,一般采用铝塑复合膜作为锂离子电池软包装材料。铝塑复合膜的基本组成是内侧的聚丙烯薄膜层、中间的铝箔层和外侧的尼龙防护层。锂离子电池在电芯封装时,电芯周边可能残留有毛刺或活性材料颗粒,在抽气工序中,这些毛刺或颗粒会刺破内层直至铝箔层;在电芯封装过程中,由于机械作用或热封时过熔导致铝塑复合膜内层破损,进而导致铝箔层直接与电解液接触,此时电解液中存在的微量氢氟酸将接触铝层造成点状腐蚀,失去其阻隔水汽和空气的功能,导致锂离子电池鼓胀或漏液等失效。同时,在正极与铝箔层间电势差的作用下,锂离子将通过受损伤的内层插入铝箔层,形成铝锂合金,对铝箔层进行电化学腐蚀,从而加速铝箔层的腐蚀程度。
专利CN101992570A公开了聚酰胺膜/热固性胶合层/铝箔/热固性胶合层/不饱和酸酐改性聚丙烯薄膜的铝塑复合膜具有优异的水汽阻隔性、防爆性以及热封粘结性,然而对解决电化学腐蚀没有明显效果。而专利CN102324557通过无机氧化物-高分子镀膜、壳体透明的锂离子电池来提高抗电化学腐蚀性,然而高分子镀膜虽然可以在一定程度上缓解腐蚀作用,但也并不能从根本上解决问题,特别是锂离子电池的能量密度越来越高,使用的包装袋也越来越薄的趋势下,腐蚀问题就更加严重。有鉴于此,确有必要提供一种更好的抗电化学腐蚀的包装材料。
发明内容
本申请提供了一种锂离子电池软包装材料及使用该材料的锂离子电池,能够提高抵抗电化学腐蚀的性能。
本申请的第一方面提供了一种锂离子电池软包装材料,由外至内依次包括基材层、第一粘接层、金属箔层、防腐蚀处理层、第二粘接层以及密封层;所述防腐蚀处理层由镍层、镍合金层、铜层以及铜合金层中的至少一层构成,且所述防腐蚀处理层镀在所述金属箔层上。
优选地,所述防腐蚀处理层为多层结构,每层的材质相同或不同。
优选地,所述防腐蚀处理层的厚度不超过所述金属箔层厚度的50%。
优选地,所述防腐蚀处理层与所述金属箔层的厚度之和不小于20μm。
优选地,所述密封层的材质为聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯、聚氯乙烯、聚乙烯或聚丙烯,所述密封层的厚度不小于20μm。
优选地,所述基材层的外侧还设置有装饰层。
优选地,
所述的镍合金为:镍铜合金、镍硼合金、镍镁合金、镍铝合金、镍钛合金、镍钒合金、镍铁合金、镍锰合金、镍钴合金、镍锌合金、镍银合金或镍锡合金;

本申请的第二方面提供了一种锂离子电池,包括裸电芯、电解液以及包装袋,所述包装袋将所述裸电芯以及所述电解液一并包裹,其特征在于,所述包装袋采用上述的锂离子电池软包装材料。
优选地,
所述包装袋在长度方向的尺寸与所述裸电芯在该方向的尺寸之差不大于5mm;
和/或
所述包装袋在宽度方向的尺寸与所述裸电芯在该方向的尺寸之差不大于5mm。
本申请提供的技术方案可以达到以下有益效果:
本申请所提供的锂离子电池通过采用镀有防腐蚀处理层的软包装材料,抗氢氟酸能力明显提高,并且不易形成锂合金,即使在负极与包装材料短路时也不会析锂,因此可以更好的抵抗电化学腐蚀,增强锂离子电池的使用安全性和增加使用寿命。
应当理解的是,以上的一般描述和后文的细节描述仅是示例性的,并不能限制本申请。

具体实施方式
下面通过具体的实施例并结合附图对本申请做进一步的详细描述。文中所述“前”、“后”、“左”、“右”、“上”、“下”均以附图中的锂离子电池软包装材料及使用该材料的锂离子电池的放置状态为参照。
如图1所示,本申请的实施例一提供了一种锂离子电池软包装材料,该包装材料由外至内依次包括基材层10、第一粘接层11、金属箔层12、防腐蚀处理层13、第二粘接层14以及密封层15。
基材层10位于包装材料的外侧,起到外层防护的作用,采用单层或多层的耐热性树脂薄膜,为适合采用冷冲压成型的外层材料,可选自聚酰胺树脂或聚酯树脂的延伸薄膜或未拉伸膜。并且根据产品外观需要,还可在基材层10的外表面增设亚光层、染色涂层等装饰层16(参见图2),增强产品的美观性。装饰层16可采用涂料经过凹版涂布方式涂布在基材层10的表面,也可经过挤出涂布的方式涂布在基材层10的表面。
密封层15位于最内侧,直接与电解液以及裸电芯进行接触,是金属箔层12的第一层防护措施,同时也是防止裸电芯以及电解液受到外部环境影响的最后一道防线。在本实施例中,密封层15的材质可以选择聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯、聚氯乙烯、聚乙烯或聚丙烯等材料,并且密封层15的厚度最好不要小于20μm,以免因厚度过薄而影响电池的高温高湿测试通过比例。
金属箔层12以及防腐蚀处理层13位于基材层10以及密封层15之间,并且通过第一粘接层11以及第二粘接层14与基材层10以及密封层15分别粘接连接。第一粘接层11以及第二粘接层14可以选择常用的粘接剂,优选采用聚氨酯类耐化学介质性胶水。为提高防腐蚀处理层13的粘结性,可以对防腐蚀处理层13做表面粗糙化处理。在本实施例中,金属箔层12可以采用一般的铝箔层,也可以采用不锈钢材料,如马氏体不锈钢、奥氏体不锈钢或铁素体不锈钢等制成的箔层。不锈钢箔层本身就具备较为优良的耐腐蚀性能,但由于不锈钢箔层材制备难度增强,另一方面不锈钢箔韧性不够,容易脆断,不利于锂离子电池生产,因此本实施例中并未单纯采用不锈钢箔。
下面重点介绍防腐蚀处理层13。在本实施例中,防腐蚀处理层13可以由镍层、或铜层构成,也可以由以镍为主要成分的镍合金层或者以铜为主要成分的铜合金层构成。其中,镍合金可以选择镍铜合金、镍硼合金、镍镁合金、镍铝合金、镍钛合金、镍钒合金、镍铁合金、镍锰合金、镍钴合金、镍锌合金、镍银合金或镍锡合金等。铜合金则可以选择铜镍合金、铜硼合金、铜镁合金、铜铝合金、铜钛合金、铜钒合金、铜铁合金、铜锰合金、铜钴合金、铜锌合金、铜银合金或铜锡合金等。
由于铜、镍等金属的抗氢氟酸能力较高,因此在密封层15破损的情况下,化学腐蚀较轻。并且,如果使用铜镀层,则防腐蚀处理层13与负极短路时便不会产生原电池反应在铜表面析锂,腐蚀的几率大幅降低。
由于金属铜、镍等金属以及合金的延展性不好,如果单独使用不利于加工,因此本实施例中防腐蚀处理层13镀在了金属箔层12上,这样简化了防腐蚀处理层13的加工工艺,同时也节约了成本,减轻了电池重量。
防腐蚀处理层13可通过常规的电镀方法在金属箔层12的表面处理获得,也可以通过热喷镀法或化学镀法进行镀覆,采用何种方法对本申请技术方案的实现没有影响。
在本实施例中,防腐蚀处理层13可以为单层结构,也可以为多层复合结构,每层可选择同种材料,也可分别采用不同材料,多层结构不仅能够有效减少由于微小颗粒及膜层缺陷引起的针孔钻蚀,还可以提升防腐蚀能力,增加包装材料韧性。
包装袋可承受的冲坑深度是其可加工性能的体现,金属层的厚度是影响冲坑深度的重要因素。当防腐蚀处理层13与金属箔层12的厚度之和达到20μm时,基本可满足冲坑需求。同时,防腐蚀处理层13镀在金属箔层12的表面之后,由于材料的差异,防腐蚀处理层13与金属箔层12的延展性不一致,也会影响锂离子电池的冲坑深度。因此在本实施例中,防腐蚀处理层13的厚度不宜过厚,以不超过金属箔层12厚度的50%为宜。
如图3所示,本申请的实施例二提供了一种锂离子电池,包括包装袋1、裸电芯2以及电解液(图中未示出),其中,包装袋1采用实施例一中所提供的锂离子电池软包装材料制成,并且包装袋1将裸电芯2以及电解液一并包裹在内。在本实施例中,裸电芯2的长度方向的尺寸b最好尽量接近包装袋1的长度尺寸a,同时,裸电芯2宽度方向的尺寸d也最好尽量接近包装袋1的长度尺寸c,使二者之间的间距保持在较小的范围内,优选地,在长度方向以及宽度方向上,包装袋1与裸电芯2的尺寸之差均不大于5mm,这样能够尽可能大的提高锂离子电池的能量密度。
下面将通过实验数据对本申请的技术效果进行详细说明。
1.防腐蚀处理层在金属铝箔表面的处理
防腐蚀处理层可通过常规的电镀方法在金属铝箔表面处理获得,也可以通过热喷镀法或化学镀法进行镀覆,因此采用何种方法对本申请没有影响。
2.包装材料的制备
包装材料的制备从外层至内层包括基材层10、第一粘接层11、金属箔层12、防腐蚀处理层13、第二粘接层14、以及密封层15。防腐蚀处理层13是在金属箔层12上镀层形成。为提高镀层的粘结性,可以对金属镀层做表面粗糙化处理,金属箔层的金属镀层处理、包装材料的制备以公知技术处理,没有特别局限。所用的基材层10选用尼龙、粘结层采用常见的粘结剂,根据金属箔层12和密封层15的厚度和组成不同的所制的包装材料对比例和实验例分别记为DP1-P10以及SDP1-SP10,见表1。

3.锂离子电池的制作
1)正极片的制备
将正极活性材料、导电剂导电炭黑Super-P、粘结剂聚偏二氟乙烯(简写为PVDF,粘结剂中聚偏二氟乙烯的质量百分含量为10%)在溶剂N-甲基吡咯烷酮(简写为NMP)中分散均匀,制成正极浆料。正极浆料中固体含量为75wt%,固体成分中包含96wt%的钴酸锂、2%的PVDF和2wt%的导电炭黑Super-P。将正极浆料均匀地涂布在厚度为16μm的正极集流体铝箔上,涂布量为0.018g/cm2。随后在85℃下烘干后进行冷压、切边、裁片、分条,之后在85℃真空条件下干燥4h,焊接极耳,即得正极片。
2)负极片的制备
将负极活性材料人造石墨、导电剂导电炭黑Super-P、羧甲基纤维素钠增稠剂(简写为CMC,羧甲基纤维素钠的质量百分含量为1.5%)、粘接剂丁苯橡胶(简写为SBR,粘结剂中丁苯橡胶的质量百分含量为50%)在去离子水中混合均匀,制成负极浆料。负极浆料中固体含量为50wt%,固体成分中包含96.5wt%的人造石墨、1.0wt%的导电炭黑Super-P、1.0wt%的CMC和1.5wt%的SBR。将负极浆料均匀地涂布在厚度为12μm的负极集流体铜箔上,涂布量为0.0089g/cm2,随后在85℃下烘干后进行冷压、切边、裁片、分条,之后在110℃真空条件下干燥4h,焊接极耳,即得负片。
3)隔离膜的制备
以12μm的聚丙烯薄膜作为隔离膜。
4)锂离子电池制作
将正极片、隔离膜、负极片按顺序叠好,使隔离膜处于正阳极中间起到隔离的作用,然后卷绕成厚度为3mm、宽度为60mm、长度为130mm的方形裸电芯。将裸电芯装入铝箔包装袋,在75℃下真空烘烤10h,注入电解液、经过真空封装、静置24h,之后用0.1C(160mA)的恒定电流充电至4.4V,然后以4.4V恒压充电至电流下降到0.05C(80mA),然后以0.1C(160mA)的恒定电流放电至3.0V,重复2次充放电,最后以0.1C(160mA)的恒定电流充电至3.8V,即完成锂离子电池的制备。
所得锂离子电池编号与包装材料及电芯尺寸的关系如表2所示。

下面针对各组锂离子电池进行测试:
1.抗渗透性以及冲坑深度试验:
抗渗透性试验:在60℃的水中浸泡14天无分层,检测重量变化。
最大冲深:用生产现场模具成型、用卡尺测成型深度,最大冲深为双面冲深。
测试结果参见表3。
经过抗渗透性测试,镀有防腐蚀处理层的包装袋均可满足渗透性测试。包装袋可承受的冲坑深度是其可加工性能的体现,金属层的厚度是影响冲坑深度的重要因素。DP2和DP3的对比可以发现,金属层厚度15μm时对冲坑深度不利,当金属层总厚度为20μm时,冲坑就可满足需求。从DP4可以看出,不同金属层的厚度比对冲坑深度也有影响,当防腐蚀处理层13超过金属箔层12厚度的50%,对冲坑深度不利,这主要是因为防腐蚀处理层13的延展性和金属箔层12的不一致造成的,对于一些薄电芯仍然可以使用。不锈钢箔相对于铝箔的冲坑深度相对较差,这主要是由于不锈钢的韧性较差引起的。密封层15过厚也不利于冲坑,由于密封层15厚一方面浪费成本,另一方面损失能量密度,一般不会选择非常厚的密封层15。从实验例P1-P10中可以看出增加了防腐蚀处理层13后,均可满足冲坑深度和渗透性要求。

2.加速腐蚀试验
将满充的锂离子电池的负极极耳与包装膜用金属导线短接,构成电子通道,然后将上述电池放置在40-50℃并且相对湿度>90%的环境下进行存储,定期检测电池壳体是否发生了电化学腐蚀。高温高湿测试的环境温度为65-75℃,环境相对湿度为85-95%。
测试结果参见表4,其中①表示电池C1~14和电池DC1~DC6对应的数据,②表示电池SC1~SC14和电池SDC1~SDC6对应的数据。
由对比例DC1-DC6可以看出,DC1中铝箔厚度为40μm,密封层厚度为30μm,加速腐蚀测试的通过率为10/100,高温高湿测试中的通过率为3/5。DC3中把铝箔厚度改为15μm,防腐蚀层铜的厚度为5μm,即可满足加速腐蚀测试和高温高湿测试。但在DC2中如果把改为10μm铝箔加上5μm防腐蚀层铜,腐蚀问题会出现,这说明金属箔层和防腐蚀层需要达到一定的厚度才可以起到防腐蚀作用,目前的技术水平建议是金属箔层加上防腐蚀层大于20μm。从DC1和DC5中可以看出,通过加厚密封层,从30μm改为80μm,也可以改善腐蚀和高温高湿测试结果,但是,这样一方面浪费成本,另一方面对电芯的能力密度不利,因此不是一个好的选择。DC1和DC6中可以看出不减小包装袋时减少裸电芯的尺寸,也就是说扩大裸电芯与包装袋之间的空隙,也可以改善腐蚀和高温高湿测试结果。同DC5的原理一样,通过拉开物理距离减少裸电芯同包装袋的短路几率,同样会影响能量密度,同时由于空隙变大,电芯和包装袋之间的滑动增多,可能引起其他一些问题。从实验例C1-C14中可以看出增加了新的金属防腐处理层,均可满足冲坑深度和渗透性要求,但密封层厚度也有需求,比如C2中由于密封层过薄而引起高温高湿不通过。当铝箔换为不锈钢箔时,对比例SDC1-SDC6,及实验例SC1-SC14与铝箔相似不再赘述。

本申请所提供的锂离子电池通过采用镀有防腐蚀处理层的软包装材料,抗氢氟酸能力明显提高,并且不易形成锂合金,即使在负极与包装材料短路时也不会析锂,因此可以更好的抵抗电化学腐蚀,增强锂离子电池的使用安全性和增加使用寿命。同时还改善了锂离子电池的抗渗透、冲坑等性能。
以上所述仅为本申请的优选实施例而已,并不用于限制本申请,对于本领域的技术人员来说,本申请可以有各种更改和变化。凡在本申请的精神和原则之内,所作的任何修改、等同替换、改进等,均应包含在本申请的保护范围之内。

Claims (10)

1.一种锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,由外至内依次包括基材层、第一粘接层、金属箔层、防腐蚀处理层、第二粘接层以及密封层;
所述防腐蚀处理层由镍层、镍合金层、铜层以及铜合金层中的至少一层构成,且所述防腐蚀处理层镀在所述金属箔层上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,所述防腐蚀处理层为多层结构,每层的材质相同或不同。
3.根据权利要求1所述的锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,所述防腐蚀处理层的厚度不超过所述金属箔层厚度的50%。
4.根据权利要求1所述的锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,所述防腐蚀处理层与所述金属箔层的厚度之和不小于20μm。
5.根据权利要求1所述的锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,所述密封层的材质为聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯、聚氯乙烯、聚乙烯或聚丙烯,所述密封层的厚度不小于20μm。
6.根据权利要求1所述的锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,所述基材层的外侧还设置有装饰层。
7.根据权利要求1所述的锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,
所述的镍合金为:镍铜合金、镍硼合金、镍镁合金、镍铝合金、镍钛合金、镍钒合金、镍铁合金、镍锰合金、镍钴合金、镍锌合金、镍银合金或镍锡合金;
和/或
所述的铜合金为:铜镍合金、铜硼合金、铜镁合金、铜铝合金、铜钛合金、铜钒合金、铜铁合金、铜锰合金、铜钴合金、铜锌合金、铜银合金或铜锡合金。
8.根据权利要求1所述的锂离子电池软包装材料,其特征在于,所述金属箔层为不锈钢箔层。
9.一种锂离子电池,包括裸电芯、电解液以及包装袋,所述包装袋将所述裸电芯以及所述电解液一并包裹,其特征在于,所述包装袋采用权利要求1至8任一项所述的锂离子电池软包装材料。
10.根据权利要求9所述的锂离子电池,其特征在于,
所述包装袋在长度方向的尺寸与所述裸电芯在该方向的尺寸之差不大于5mm;
和/或
所述包装袋在宽度方向的尺寸与所述裸电芯在该方向的尺寸之差不大于5mm。
