Abstract
An article of footwear includes a braided upper with overlay portions. The overlay portions may be applied to edges of the braided upper. The overlay portions can include eyelets to receive a lace. The overlay portions can extend around portions of the upper to reduce stretching and increase support. The overlay portions may facilitate attachment between the braided upper and a sole system.

3rd cover parts 814 can be associated with the footwear forward part 811 of vamp 802.In some embodiments, the 3rd cover parts 814 can be positioned on the front of fastening zone 862.In addition, as being clear that in fig .9, the 3rd cover parts 814 can surround vamp 802 (and the pin in vamp 802) completely.In an exemplary embodiment, the 3rd cover parts 814 are made up of the first band 817 and the second band 819, and the first band 817 and the second band 819 are integrally connected to confluence, top 815.Therefore, this layout can provide orientation stretching resistance in footwear forward part 811, and can be placed on securely between ground active stage in footwear forward part 811, this enhanced stretch resistance can strengthen the support of pin.

In some embodiments, sole system 1730 can be associated with vamp 1702.In some embodiments, in addition, cover parts 1722 can promote that sole system 1730 combines or join to vamp 1702.Such as, as being clear that in the amplification view of Figure 19, cover parts 1722 can be arranged between the downside 1703 of sole system 1730 and vamp 1702, to promote the joint of sole system 1730 and vamp 1702.
In some embodiments, the material behavior of cover parts 1722 and sole system 1730 can be selected, so that cover parts 1722 and sole system 1730 can use bonding agent or other technique to combine easily.Such as, it is contemplated that, in some embodiments, cover parts 1722 can be made up of thermoplastic urethane (TPU) material, and sole system 1730 can be made by similar material or easily with the material that TPU combines.Still in other embodiments, but cover parts 1722 and sole system 1730 can be made up of other material any, and this material can use or not use independent adhesive to be engaged.

2. article of footwear according to claim 1, wherein said cover part is arranged on the edge be associated with the opening of the described vamp receiving pin of described vamp.
3. article of footwear according to claim 1, wherein said cover part comprises the eyelet for receiving securing member.
4. article of footwear according to claim 1, wherein said cover part is arranged on the toe portion of described vamp.
5. article of footwear according to claim 1, wherein said cover part comprises the section on the downside being arranged on described vamp.
6. article of footwear according to claim 1, wherein said cover part of polymer material is made.
7. an article of footwear, comprising:
Vamp and sole system, described vamp is associated with lace member further;
Described vamp comprises braiding structure and cover part; And
Wherein, described cover part comprises the multiple eyelets for receiving described lace member.
8. article of footwear according to claim 7, wherein said cover part forms the eyelet support member being used for described vamp.
9. article of footwear according to claim 7, wherein said cover part is arranged on the outer ledge of the fastening zone of described vamp, and wherein said cover part is arranged on the inside edge of described fastening zone.
10. article of footwear according to claim 7, wherein said cover part extends on the downside of the lateral surface of described vamp, the medial surface of described vamp and described vamp.
11. article of footwear according to claim 7, wherein said cover part is the first cover part, and wherein said article of footwear comprises the second cover part being different from described first cover part.
12. article of footwear according to claim 11, wherein said first cover part is overlapping at overlay region place with described second cover part.
12. article of footwear according to claim 7, wherein said second cover part covers the downside of described vamp.
13. article of footwear according to claim 12, wherein said second cover part can join described sole system to, described sole system is fixed to the appropriate location on described article of footwear.
14. 1 kinds of methods manufacturing article of footwear, described method comprises:
Form the braiding structure with inner chamber;
Described braiding structure cuts out opening, thus the opening produced in described braiding structure and the edge associated with described opening;
Cover part is attached to described edge, and wherein said cover part comprises multiple eyelet;
Shoestring is inserted through described eyelet; And
Sole system is associated to form described article of footwear with described braiding structure.
15. methods according to claim 14, wherein form described braiding structure and comprise the described braiding structure produced with center cavity.
16. methods according to claim 14, wherein form described braiding structure and are included in the described braiding structure of covering braiding on shoe last.
17. methods according to claim 14, wherein comprise in conjunction with described cover part and described cover part are welded to described edge.

20. methods according to claim 14, wherein said cover part is incorporated into described edge, and at least one line of described braiding structure is extended around at least one eyelet of described cover part.
