Description

模拟香烟
本发明涉及一种具有大致柱形香烟状壳体的模拟香烟,所述壳体具有主轴线,所述壳体包含沿着所述壳体的相当一部分延伸的加压可吸入式组合物的储存器,所述储存器具有储存器出口,所述储存器出口的一端由出口阀选择性闭合,所述出口阀是可操作的,以允许所述组合物从所述储存器出口流向装置的出口端处的吸入出口。这样的模拟香烟随后被称为“所述类型的”模拟香烟。
所述类型的模拟香烟被公开在WO2011/107737中。该文献要求用芯填充储存器的相当一部分,以便确保当打开出口阀时将充足的组合物提供给储存器出口。
然而,已发现,芯有效地将尼古丁剥离出组合物,使之以不一致的剂量提供。
所述类型的另一种香烟被公开在DE4030257中。该文献的一个示例公开了一种从储存器的出口端短距离延伸的管。该管是柔性的,并且其进口端的重量使得它朝向储存器的底面偏重,无论其取向如何都是如此。这样的布置被设计成允许从储存器吸入尽可能多的组合物。然而,该设计的问题在于,用户可用的组合物的量将取决于香烟的取向。如果以水平配置使用香烟,则可以吸入大多数组合物。然而,香烟最常见的吸入方式为“末端向下”配置,其中香烟的吸入端高于另一端。以这样的取向,大约一半的组合物无法被吸入。对于香烟的每次使用,取决于取向,由用户吸入的组合物的量将因此有大的变化。从监管的观点,大的剂量变化是不期望的,并且对于用户,他们并不了解他们已经吸入的尼古丁的量。
根据本发明,一种所述类型的模拟香烟,所述模拟香烟包括具有通孔的管,所述通孔从储存器出口的附近沿着储存器的相当一部分延伸,使得组合物流入管孔进口并且沿着管孔流向所述储存器出口,保持管进口端,使得主轴线穿过所述进口端并且使得所述管孔进口在轴向上被定位在所述储存器的50%容积的中心。
所述储存器的容积是所述储存器内部的可用空间,即可能被组合物占据的总容积。该容积排除所述储存器内的任何内部特征,诸如管壁。然而,该容积包括所述管孔的容积。该容积或者可以通过计算各种部件的体积(即储存器壳体的内部容积减去任何内部部件的体积)来确定,或者可以通过给所述储存器完全填充液体并且测量这么做需要的液体体积(例如通过确定质量增加)来确定。通过给储存器填充该容积的50%并且使模拟香烟取向为其轴线垂直,可以确定该容积的中点。这可以以分别比上面提到的50%容积大25%以及小25%的液体容积重复。这两个水平确定所述储存器的50%容积的中心。另选地,可以基于部件的体积来计算这些位置。
通过朝向所述储存器的中心径向地设置所述管孔进口,在轴向意义上的容积中央部中,所述管孔进口位于使其处于填充所述储存器的液体主体的质心附近的位置,使得无论香烟的取向如何,都可以分配约50%的液体。
由此,可以看出,所采取的途径不同于DE4030257之处在于,目的是最大化剂量的均匀性,而非最大化剂量的总量。这通过将所述管进口端保持在所述储存器的中央区域中,而非具有总是朝最低位置偏置的柔性管。
优选地,所述管孔进口被定位在所述储存器的30%容积的中心,更优选为20%容积的中心,因为这仍进一步地减少变动。
虽然如上面阐述的,所述管孔进口位于所述储存器的中央区域中,但是优选地,所述管孔进口最远距所述出口为容积的一半。上面的50%、30%和20%极限允许进口分别距所述储存器的中心为25%、15%和10%。鉴于期望使进口朝向与出口端相反的端部,优选范围可能是朝向所述出口比另一端小。例如,可优选的是所述进口朝向所述出口端为15%容积的中心的并且朝向另一端朝向25%容积。这允许在更常见的“末端向下”配置中吸入更大的容积,但还是足够接近避免剂量发生不适当变化的中心。
借助刚性足以将本身及所述管孔进口支撑在限定位置中的管,管进口可保持就位。然而,优选地,所述管是柔性管,并且一支撑件被设置为将所述进口端保持就位。
所述支撑件优选地具有可以与所述储存器的内壁形成过盈配合的外径。所述支撑件优选地具有面向所述管的所述进口端的中空的锥形端部,以将所述进口端引导就位。这允许简单的装配过程,因为所述管可以被推入所述储存器,使得所述管与储存器的邻近所述储存器出口的内壁或所述出口阀本身接合。所述支撑件然后可以配合到合适位置,使得所述锥形端部拾取所述进口端并且朝向中央区域引导所述进口端。
所述模拟香烟可以是一次性使用的装置。然而,优选地,所述储存器是可再填充的,并且具有位于与所述出口端相反的再填充端处的再填充阀。在这种情况下,所述管支撑件优选地与再填充阀壳体成一体。这有助于减少所述模拟香烟中的部件数量。
所述出口阀可手动操作,但优选是呼吸操纵阀。所述出口阀优选被弹性构件偏置而闭合并由柔性隔膜支撑,并且空气流动路径被设置为穿过所述香烟,使得在所述出口端上进行吮吸导致空气流动而在所述隔膜上创建足以克服所述弹性构件的作用而提升所述出口阀并打开所述出口阀的压力。
可吸入组合物优选地包括尼古丁和推进剂。
所述管优选地相对较长并且延伸所述香烟的长度的至少60%。所述孔优选地小于1mm。可使用至少一部分具有不同内径的管,以使所述香烟能够分配的剂量发生变化。此前,通过改变所述出口阀下游的出口孔的大小而使所述剂量变化,但这还会改变粒径。通过使用所述孔来控制所述剂量,这可以达到目的而不损害粒径。

模拟香烟的基本布置在WO2011/107737中做了描述。由此,模拟香烟具有大致柱形形状并且近似为香烟的大小。模拟香烟具有壳体1,壳体1具有出口端2和再填充端3,储存器4占据多数内部空间。在出口端2处是出口阀5,出口阀5具有采取齿形式的阀元件6,阀元件6夹紧弹性管7以便使管闭合。出口阀5进一步包括叶片,该叶片与隔膜8协作,以在用户在出口端2上吮吸时克服弹簧9的作用而打开阀元件6,如WO2011/107737中所述并且在WO2014/033438中更详细地描述。
在储存器4的另一端处是再填充阀元件10,再填充阀元件10实质上为止回阀,能克服第二弹簧11的作用而打开。这是共同未决申请1305486.1的主题。第二弹簧11和再填充阀元件10被保留在笼12中,笼12具有多个开口13,使得笼13内的空间形成储存器4的一部分。
在储存器4内还有柔性管20,柔性管20具有内部孔21。孔21具有邻近弹性管7的端部定位的出口22并且可以在出口端附近抵靠储存器4的壁23放置或密封到该壁23,使得组合物只能经由孔21到达出口阀5。如从图中明显的,管20的侧壁或是端壁可以用储存器的侧壁23或管7的端部密封,但优选地是侧壁或是端壁两者都被密封。从图中还将明显的是,阀元件6和管20之间的弹性管7的右手侧也是储存器的一部分。
如图4所示,在管20的进口端25处,孔21具有进口26,进口26由支撑件30支撑,使得进口端25、优选是孔21的进口26在壳体1的主轴线X上。
支撑件30在其最接近再填充端3的端部处抵接阀笼12。支撑件30和阀笼12可做成单个部件。在另一端处,支撑件30具有面向出口端2的锥面31。该端部的外径32的直径对应于储存器4在此处的内径,使得支撑件30在储存器4内过盈配合。如图5所示的四个开口34允许储存器中的液体自由通过支撑件30,以出入进口26。
为了组装香烟,管20被插入储存器4中,直到管20到达图1所示的位置,在该位置,出口22用壁23密封。然后如图中所示,从同一端部插入支撑件30,并且锥面31拾取进口端25并且将进口端25引导到中央区域中。锥形区域31延伸到柱形区域35中,将管20的进口端25保持在中央区域中。管的端部可紧密地保持在该位置中,或者可少量地自由移动,这对其发挥作用的能力是无关紧要的。即使紧密地保持,开口34也允许储存器中的液体到达孔21的进口26。
从图中以及上面的解释将认识到,储存器4的形状是复杂的。右手部的大致柱形配置占据装置的多数直径,而储存器的左手部可仅仅是管的内部孔21,或者可能是储存器在该管任一侧的部分。此外,在右手部中,因管20的进口端、支撑件30、阀笼12、第二弹簧11以及再填充阀元件10的位于储存器内的部分,储存器的容积减小。由此,虽然可以通过测量这些部件来确定储存器4的容积,但凭实验确定可能更简单。
现在将参考图1至图3描述装置的操作。
当用户在出口端2上吮吸时,出口阀5如先前描述地打开。假设孔21的进口26低于储存器中的液体的水平L,液体将沿着孔21行进并且将在出口阀元件6的下游被雾化,以形成吸入的羽状流。图1至图3示出了填充储存器4的液体主体的质心C。孔21的进口26位于质心的附近。在图1所示的该具体示例中,进口26从质心C朝向再填充端3移位1.3mm。在图1所示的水平方位上,高于水平L的所有液体代表储存器中的总液体的约50%可以从香烟吸入。当香烟处于图2所示的末端向下配置中时,随着如上面描述的进口26从质心C移位,相比于图1,略多液体是可用的。相反,在末端向上配置中,略少液体是可吸入的。在不同的布置中,进口26位于质心C处,使得在三个位置之间分配时没有实质变化。当前首选是进口26从质心C朝向再填充端有微小位移,如图所示,因为这导致在更常见的末端向下取向中略多液体被分配。

Claims (13)
