技术领域
本发明涉及一种药物输送设备,并且特别涉及一种能够输送若干预定计量剂量的设备。
背景技术
有大量用于输送药物以在呼吸系统中吸收的设备,或者用于到眼睛的药物输送的设备,并且一个强烈的趋势是开发用于自我施用的设备。传统上,口服药物或鼻腔药物意图用于治疗气管、支气管和/或肺部中的疾病,并且特别是急性或慢性的哮喘症状。然而,由于有利的吸收率和降低的副作用,在许多其他疾病的治疗中进行了通过肺部的药物施用的大量研究。此外,因为来自用过针头的可能污染问题,口服施用比使用针头的输送设备提供了更大的安全性。类似的情况存在于到患者眼睛的药物输送。
然而,也有一些不与现有设备兼容的药物成分,并且现有设备还有许多其他缺点。例如,气溶胶分配器利用了推进剂,其提供了雾化液体形式的药物的力。然而,这需要一种通常是金属的特殊类型加压罐,这增加了制造成本,并影响环境。
可用于计量口服施用的设备的一个例子在文件WO 2011/043712中进行描述。所公开的设备包括柱塞杆,当由预张紧螺旋弹簧驱动时,所述柱塞杆将塞子推入到含有药物的药剂盒中,据此,药物剂量从施用构件输送。施用构件可以是口用件或鼻用件(mouth piece or a nasal piece)。
使用根据WO 2011/043712的设备,能够通过转动在该设备远端的弹簧力张紧构件设定剂量。这个动作也张紧螺旋弹簧以用于输送剂量。剂量的设定和输送可以做出许多次,直到药物容器变空。
WO 2011/043712的设备的一个缺点在于,没有表明剂量已被设定和该设备已准备好剂量输送的任何指示。这可能是一个缺点,其中,设备用户或者不习惯于操纵该设备,使得他/她不确定该设备已被正确地操纵使得它准备好剂量输送。同样,对于有经验的用户,设置表明剂量输送之前的操纵步骤已被正确地执行的积极指示(positive indication)是有利的。
由此,仍存在对一种设备的需要,其中,若干剂量可以被输送,并且其中,操纵步骤需要在每次剂量输送执行之前执行,以提供操纵步骤已被执行使得该设备准备好剂量输送的信息和/或验证。
发明内容
如本文所使用的,术语“液体”包括所有的溶液、悬浮液、乳剂、油、凝胶等等,其在工作温度下一般表现为液体。该术语明确包括溶解或分散在液体载体中的固体成分。表现为高粘度液体的材料也包括在内。
在本申请中,当使用术语“远侧部分/远端”时,这指的是在设备使用期间定位最远离病人的输送部位的药物输送设备的部分/端部或其构件的部分/端部。相应地,当使用术语“近侧部分/近端”时,这指的是在设备使用期间定位最靠近病人的输送部位的设备的部分/端部或其构件的部分/端部。
本发明的目的是补救现有技术设备的缺点。这个目的是用根据独立权利要求1的特征的药物输送设备获得的。本发明的优选实施例形成从属权利要求的主题。
本发明涉及一种用于输送计量剂量药物的药物输送设备。它优选地设备包括至少一个整体细长的管状机架,所述机架具有相对的远端和近端。
螺纹柱塞杆可布置在所述机架内。柱塞杆被布置为与驱动螺母配合,其螺纹地连接到所述螺纹柱塞杆。
所述设备还可以优选地设置有驱动构件。此驱动构件优选地可转动地连接到弹簧力张紧构件。在优选的实施例中,弹簧力张紧构件在机架远端的外部是可接近的。然而应当理解的是,弹簧力张紧构件可以放置在机架的其它位置上。
此外,驱动构件优选地经由驱动构件延伸部连接到驱动螺母,使得所述驱动构件延伸部和所述驱动构件可操作地相互连接,以用于当所述驱动构件被所述弹簧力张紧构件旋转时,提供所述驱动构件延伸部在相反方向上的旋转锁定。
另外,根据一个优选的实施例,驱动构件延伸部和所述驱动螺母可以可操作地相互连接,以用于提供所述驱动螺母相对于所述驱动构件延伸部的旋转锁定。
该设备还布置有弹簧力构件,其在一个优选实施例中是螺旋弹簧的形式。然而,应当理解的是,其它类型的弹簧力构件可以用于相同的功能。
弹簧力构件具有连接到所述驱动构件的第一端,和连接到在机架上的固定点的第二端,使得所述弹簧力构件在所述弹簧力张紧构件和所述驱动构件被旋转时被张紧。
为了操纵柱塞杆,导向螺母可以布置有导向凸缘,其可与柱塞杆的纵向凹槽配合,以用于提供旋转锁定但容许所述柱塞杆相对于导向螺母的纵向运动。
为了便于药物输送设备的操纵,在所述驱动构件被旋转并且所述弹簧力构件通过操纵所述弹簧力张紧构件而被张紧,以用于将该设备设置为准备好用于输送药物剂量时,手动操作的启动装置通过接合装置可释放地互连到所述驱动构件延伸部,以用于提供驱动构件延伸部在任何方向上的旋转锁定。
根据本发明,它的特征在于指示器机构,其可操作地连接到所述驱动构件,并且被布置为在所述弹簧力张紧构件已经被操作使得该设备已准备好剂量输送时可见地指示设备的用户。
以这种方式,在弹簧力张紧构件已经被操作到该设备已准备好使用的程度时,用户由指示器机构告知。由此,用户被提供了积极的信息,并且可以确定当指示可见时,该设备已准备好剂量输送。
根据一个解决方案,指示器机构可以包括可操作地连接到所述驱动构件的表面,所述表面布置有明显的指示构件,所述指示器机构还包括在所述机架上用于查看所述表面的开口。由此,当驱动构件被转动时,该表面与开口对准地定位,并由此对用户可见。
根据本发明的一个优选解决方案,该表面可以可操作地布置在所述驱动构件处,使得当所述弹簧力张紧构件已经被操作时,指示构件在所述开口中可见,即表明该设备已准备好剂量输送。以这种方式,只有当弹簧力张紧构件和由此的驱动构件已被转动使得剂量已被设定并且设备已准备好剂量输送时,指示器才变得可见。
为了清楚鲜明且容易地对用户可见,所述指示构件包括独特的颜色。这种颜色例如可以是清楚的绿色,其以积极的方式指示准备好的设备。然而,颜色可以被选择为使得它是清楚的警报,诸如橙色、黄色、也可能是荧光的。
除了颜色之外,或代替颜色,指示构件可包括标记。仅举几例,标记例如可以是对勾(check mark)、字母、例如“确定”的单词,图形符号或类似物。
为了进一步提升可见性,开口可布置有放大镜或类似物,其中,所述指示构件是更加清晰可见的。
根据本发明的另一方面,所述药物输送设备是吸入设备、眼喷雾设备或注射器。

具体实施方式
在附图中示出的设备的一个实施例包括整体细长的主体10。主体10在所述实施例中示出为分成两个部分;近侧部分12和远侧部分14(图1)。
近侧部分12包括大致管状的壳体部件16(图2)。壳体部件16的近端布置有附接区域18(图2),药物输送构件20能够可释放地附接到所述区域。药物输送构件20与壳体16之间的附接装置例如可以是凸缘22,其卡入相应凹槽23(图3)内。然而,应当理解的是,也可使用其他类型的附接装置。在示出的实施例中,药物输送构件20是一定剂量的药物要被输送时用户通过其吸入的吹嘴(mouthpiece)。然而,应当理解的是,也可以使用其他类型的药物输送构件,诸如鼻用件、眼用件以及甚至是注射针头和类似物。
近侧部分12还布置有整体细长的管状药物容器保持器24(图2),其布置为容纳药物容器26。药物容器保持器24布置有大致径向挠曲的腿部28(图3),并且布置有向外延伸的凸缘30,其装配到在壳体部件16中的凹部32内。
在所示出的实施例中,药物容器26布置有近侧颈部34和在容器内的可动塞子36。雾化喷嘴38布置在药物容器保持器24的近端(图2和图3)。雾化喷嘴38包含芯片(未示出),其具有多个能够生成药物液滴的气溶胶的微通道。
药物容器导向构件40(图2和图3)布置有中央通道,并且旨在被从其近端推到药物容器26上,并且在药物容器26(图2)的远端与环形凸缘42(图4)接触。药物容器导向构件40布置有若干向近侧延伸的臂44(图3),其布置为大致径向柔性的并具有向外延伸的突起46。这些突起46被布置为围绕壳体的环形凸缘48夹持,以用于在径向方向上锁定所述药物容器导向构件40以及由此的药物容器26。

远侧部分14布置有壳体。在所示的实施例中,壳体被设计为两个壳体半部60、62(图6)。然而,应当理解的是,在不脱离本发明范围的情况下,壳体可以其他方式并以更多部分布置。
整体管状的机架64布置在壳体部件内(图7、图9、图10)。它布置有横向内壁66(图9和图10)。内壁66还设置有中央通道68。附接装置70(图6)布置在机架的近端,在示出的实施例中,它是用于卡口连接的凹槽。在这方面,应当理解的是,也可以使用其他类型的附接装置,诸如螺纹、卡入式接头或类似物,这都在本领域技术人员的想象范围内。机架64的附接装置70意图与在大致管状的壳体部件16(图5)的远端上的相应附接装置72相互作用。
同轴地布置在机架64内并在该设备的纵向方向上延伸的是细长柱塞杆74(图6和图7)。柱塞杆74意图与布置在药物容器中的塞子接触。柱塞杆74被布置在具有大致管状形状的所谓驱动构件延伸部76内(图11和图12)。所述驱动构件延伸部76的近端在其外表面上布置有花键槽78(图11和图12)。花键槽78与在大致管状的驱动螺母82(图11)的内表面上的对应花键棱80配合。
驱动螺母82(图11)的内表面还设置有螺纹84,其与在柱塞杆74的外表面上的螺纹86配合。驱动螺母82还布置有环形凸缘88,其远侧定向端表面具有多个倾斜的楔形表面90。机架64的内壁66的近侧定向表面布置有相应的倾斜楔形表面92(图9)。
柱塞杆74还布置为穿过导向螺母94(图11)。导向螺母94布置有导向凸缘96,其与柱塞杆74(图6)的纵向凹槽98合作,这提供了旋转锁定,但允许柱塞杆74相对导向螺母94的纵向运动。导向螺母94装配到导向螺母锁定构件100内,其经由径向向外延伸的突起102附接到机架64,所述突起装配到在机架64内表面上的凹部104内(图9)。螺母锁定构件100布置有在大致径向方向上柔性地布置的舌片106。柔性舌片106的内表面布置有楔形齿108(图11),其在径向方向上延伸。舌片106的齿108意图接合围绕导向螺母94的圆周布置的对应楔形齿110。
此外,驱动构件延伸部76布置有具有中空内部的环形部分112(图11),其中,所述内部的内表面设置有横向止动凸缘114。这些止动凸缘114与布置在大致细长的驱动构件118(图12)近端的柔性臂116配合。
但是,止动凸缘114和柔性臂116被布置为提供单向锁定,使得驱动构件118仅可以在一个方向上相对于所述驱动构件延伸部转动,其中,所述柔性臂116滑过止动凸缘114。在另一方向上,柔性臂116的端部抵接止动凸缘114,从而阻止了它们的相对转动。驱动构件118还布置有盘形构件120(图12)。在盘形构件120的近侧定向侧面上,两个止动凸缘122沿直径布置在设备的纵向轴线124的相对侧(图1)。止动凸缘122被布置为与布置在机架64内部的相应止动凸缘126共同作用(图10),以用于限制所述驱动构件118的转动。
此外,根据本发明,驱动构件118布置有大致径向向外定向的表面128(图12),如将要描述的,其优选地布置有特定的明显颜色或标记,以被用作该设备状态的指示器。指示器表面128可布置有明亮的颜色,如明亮的绿色或明亮的橙色,或可具有特定的标记或字母,仅举几个可行的指示器,例如对勾或“确定”。针对这个表面128,机架布置有指示器表面可以透过其可见的开口或透明区域130(图8)。另外,壳体部件60布置有指示器表面128可以通过其查看的开口或透明区域132(图6)。开口132还可以布置有放大镜,以便增加指示器的可见性。
螺旋驱动弹簧134(图13)被围绕驱动构件118布置,并以内端部附接在驱动构件118中的细长狭缝136(图12)中,而以另一端附接在弹簧壳体140(图13)中的狭缝138中。弹簧壳体140进而放置在机壳64的远侧部分内(图10),并且通过在弹簧壳体140的外表面中的纵向凹槽142与对应棱144配合而相对于机壳64保持固定。弹簧壳体140被弹簧壳体盖146(图14)在机壳64中保持就位,所述弹簧壳体盖146通过有通道150的近侧定向臂148而附接到机壳64,所述通道容纳在机壳64的外表面上的凸缘152。弹簧壳体盖146还布置有远侧定向的管状构件154。
驱动构件118的远端延伸到弹簧壳体盖146的管状构件154内。所述驱动构件64的远端布置有多个纵向延伸的凸缘156(图13)。具有端壁160的大体管状导向构件158(图13、图14)也被设置。端壁160布置有一中央通道162,其形状对应于驱动构件64的有凸缘156的远端的横截面,形成键控功能。驱动构件64的有凸缘156的远端还被布置为装配到在弹簧力张紧构件166(图15)上的对应的凹槽164内,使得弹簧力张紧构件可操作地连接到驱动构件,例如旋转地连接。凹部164被定位在弹簧力张紧构件166内的中心柱168上(图15)。弹簧力张紧构件166还布置有一些近侧定向的臂170,所述臂170在大致径向方向上是柔性的。臂170的自由端布置有向内延伸的凸缘172,所述凸缘172设计为绕环形凸缘174(图14)配合,所述环形凸缘174布置在管状构件154的圆周上。弹簧176(图16)还布置在导向构件158的端壁160与弹簧力张紧构件166的近侧定向内壁之间,以在远侧方向上推动后者。
另外,启动机构178(图17)布置在设备中。它包括延伸通过一个壳体半部60的开口的启动按钮180。启动按钮180包括两个向内延伸的臂182,所述臂在该设备的纵向方向124的每一侧上各一个。每个臂182布置有朝向近侧方向的第一表面184。第一表面184过渡到倾斜于所述第一表面184的第二表面186。第二表面186之后过渡到大致与第一表面184平行的第三表面188。
臂182与包括环形体192(图11)的剂量启动器190(图11)接触,所述环形体192围绕驱动构件延伸部76的一部分。环形体192布置有两个在该设备纵向方向上延伸的细长柱194。每个柱布置有凹槽196,启动按钮180的臂182装配在所述凹槽中(图17)。
环状体192的远侧定向端表面布置有多个圆周定向的止动凸缘198(图11),它的功能将在下面描述。止动凸缘198要与在驱动构件延伸部76的外表面上的止动凸缘200相互作用。压缩弹簧202(图13)布置在启动按钮180的内表面与机架64的外表面之间,以用于朝伸展位置推动启动按钮180。此外,第二压缩弹簧204(图8)布置在剂量启动器190的环状体192的近侧定向端面与横向壁66的远侧定向表面之间,以用于在远侧方向上推动环状体192,并且接合在环状体192的止动凸缘198与驱动构件延伸部76的止动凸缘200之间。
所述设备意图如下地运行。合适的药物容器26被与药物容器导向构件40一起放置在药物容器保持器24中,使得它的臂与药物保持器卡扣接合。药物保持器随后被插入到近侧壳体部分16内。然后,药物保持器锁定构件50被推入与药物容器导向构件40接合。近侧壳体部分12之后通过附接装置70、72连接到远侧部分14和机架64。药物容器导向构件40的远端被设计为使得它接合导向螺母锁定构件100的外表面,据此,舌片106被径向向内地挤压,使得舌片106的齿108接合导向螺母94的齿110,据此,导向螺母94变得被旋转地锁定。
当要设定并输送剂量时,弹簧力张紧构件166被操作,例如,被转动。为了将弹簧力张紧构件166连接到剂量设定机构,弹簧力张紧构件166被在近侧方向上逆着弹簧176的力推动。由于凸缘156装配到凹部164内,弹簧力张紧构件166与驱动构件118然后被连接。由此,当弹簧力张紧构件166被转动时,驱动构件118也被转动。驱动构件118的转动导致螺旋驱动弹簧134被从初始状态张紧,其中,它在设备的制造期间是预张紧的。
在旋转过程中,柔性臂116的驱动构件118移动脱离与驱动构件延伸部64的环状构件112的止动凸缘114的接触,直到它们被移动到与后续的止动凸缘114接触。因为柔性臂116与止动凸缘114的接触,驱动构件118的回转被防止。
此外,因为剂量启动器192的止动凸缘198与驱动构件延伸部64上的止动凸缘200接触,驱动构件延伸部64依次被防止旋转。
弹簧力张紧构件166被旋转,直到驱动构件118的止动凸缘122与机架64的相应止动凸缘126接触。这确保了用户不能转动弹簧力张紧构件166超过预设的位置。因此,不能设置过大的剂量。既然剂量被设定好,该设备已准备好使用。因为驱动构件的转动已经将设备的开口或窗口132与指示表面128对准地定位,对用户的该设备已准备好的积极反馈显示在设备的开口或窗口132中。然后,用户能够注意到颜色或符号,其是该设备已准备好使用的指示。
现在,用户可将药物输送设备定位在输送部位,并可通过克服复位弹簧202的力将启动按钮180按到设备内而手动启动药物输送设备。启动按钮180的运动导致臂182在柱194的凹槽196内滑动。在一定的运动之后,倾斜的第二表面186移动到与凹槽196的远侧定向表面接触,然后第三表面188(图18)与凹槽196的远侧定向表面接触。第二和第三表面的这种接触在近侧方向上推动环状体192。这进而使得剂量启动器190的止动凸缘198移动至与驱动构件延伸部64的止动凸缘200脱离接触。因为柔性臂116与止动凸缘114之间的连接,驱动构件延伸部64以及因此的驱动构件118现在可以通过弹簧134的力而自由旋转,并且由于驱动构件延伸部64与驱动螺母82之间的花键连接,后者也被转动。
由于与柱塞杆74的螺纹86螺纹地接合的驱动螺母82的旋转,并且因为柱塞杆与导向螺母94的旋转锁定,柱塞杆74轴向地前进,这导致它移动药物容器26内的塞子36,并迫使药物通过药物输送构件,例如雾化喷嘴38和吹嘴20。
应当理解的是,上面描述的和附图所示的实施例应被视为仅是本发明的非限制性例子,并且它可在专利权利要求的范围内以多种方式进行修改。

Claims (13)

1.一种计量液滴药物输送设备,其包括:
-整体细长的管状机架(64),其具有相对的远端和近端;
-布置在所述机架内的驱动机构;
