Description

Structure of side part of bed
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a bedside structure, and more particularly, to a bedside structure having a side rail at a side of a bed.
Background
Conventionally, side fences (hereinafter, referred to as side rails) are attached to both side portions of a hospital bed used in a hospital or the like, a nursing bed used in a care of a special institution, a home, or the like, to prevent a bed user, bedding, or the like from falling off the bed. The side rail is usually detachably attached to a side frame of the bed, and is detachable when not needed (see patent document 1).
However, the conventional method has the following problems: the removal of the side rails is complicated, and it is necessary to secure a space for placing the removed side rails.
As a countermeasure against the above problem, a structure is conventionally proposed in which the side rail is retracted to the lower side of the bed side portion without being removed, but the following problem arises.
For example, when the side rails are housed below the bed bottom plate that supports the mattress, the bed needs to have a certain height in order to ensure a space for operating the side rails and a space for housing the side rails, and it is difficult to reduce the height of the bed.
Further, when the side rails are folded and compactly stored under the bed bottom, the side rails have a complicated structure and need to be designed with strength in mind, which causes a problem of high cost.
In addition, when the side rails are not stored below the bed bottom plate but outside the bed bottom plate, a storage space is not required below the bed bottom plate, and thus the bed can be lowered.
Specifically, there is proposed an apparatus having a side rail structure in which a side rail is moved up and down in accordance with a use situation of a user as a link structure capable of vertically displacing the side rail (see patent document 2).
According to the structure of patent document 2, the side rail can be easily retracted without being detached. In addition, since the lower side of the mattress can be used as a space for housing a part of the link structure or the constituent member of the bed, the design of the link can be easily performed.

Problems to be solved by the invention
However, in the structure of patent document 2, since the side rail is stored in the lower side portion of the bed side portion in a state where the side rail is lowered, the following problem occurs: the side rails extend from the end faces of the mattress and interfere with the sitting position of the user of the bed and the operation of the caretaker and the nursing person.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a bed side structure which is simple in structure, can reduce the height of a bed, does not interfere with the sitting position of a user of the bed and the work of a caregiver or a caregiver, and can store side rails in a space-saving manner.
Means for solving the problems
The structure of the bed side part of the present invention for solving the above problems is as follows.
The present invention relates to a bed side structure having side rails at side portions of a bed, and including a support member for supporting the side rails, wherein the support member has one end side connected to a bed plate side on which a mattress is placed and the other end side connected to a side rail side, and is capable of moving the side rails above and below the mattress, wherein the side rails are configured such that, in a state of being moved above the mattress, lower portions of the side rails are disposed below the mattress (below side ends) and support side end portions of the mattress from below, and, in a state of being moved below the mattress, upper portions of the side rails are disposed below the mattress (below side ends) and support side end portions of the mattress from below.
In addition, the invention preferably provides the side rails along the side portions of the mattress in the longitudinal direction.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the mattress is formed in a shape in which the vicinity of the center portion of the side portion in the longitudinal direction is recessed inward, and the vicinity of the center portion in the longitudinal direction is narrower than the head side in the width direction, and the side rail is formed in a shape in which the end portion on the opposite side to the head faces the inside of the bed along the shape of the mattress.
Effects of the invention
According to the structure of the present invention, in a structure of a bed side having side rails at a side portion of a mattress, a support member for supporting the side rails is provided, and as a structure of the support member, one end side thereof is connected to a bed plate side on which the mattress is placed, the other end side thereof is connected to a side of the side rails, and the side rails can be moved to above and below the mattress.
Further, according to the present invention, by providing the side rails along the side portions in the longitudinal direction of the mattress, the side portions of the mattress can be supported by the side rails, and the mattress can be stably provided.
Further, according to the present invention, the mattress is configured such that the vicinity of the center portion of the side portion in the longitudinal direction is recessed inward, and the vicinity of the center portion in the longitudinal direction is narrower than the head portion side in the width direction, and the side rail is configured such that the end portion on the side opposite to the head portion is directed toward the inside of the bed along the shape of the mattress, whereby the end portion is positioned outside the bed side end in a state where the bed user is in the sitting-up position, and therefore, the side rail can be easily grasped when the posture of the bed user is changed from the supine position to the sitting-up position, from the sitting-up position to the standing position, or vice versa, and therefore, the operation of changing the posture can be stably performed.
