Abstract

本发明涉及一种金属钝化高强度PE材料及其制备方法,由以下重量份的原料组成:聚乙烯42‑63份;长玻纤23‑32份;无卤阻燃剂22‑26份;抗铜剂0.3‑0.5份;相容剂3‑5份;抗氧剂0.2‑0.5份;润滑剂0.1‑0.6份。本发明的金属钝化高强度PE材料在保证优异的高阻燃、高抗铜害性性能的同时,原料PE与阻燃剂、抗铜剂具有较好的相溶性,使得组分中的聚乙烯、阻燃剂、抗铜剂更好的结合,不影响材料的其他性能。此外,本发明的PE材料还具有高力学性能的优点,其力学性能甚至是普通改性PE材料的2倍。本发明的PE材料可用于替代传统的阻燃PA,阻燃ABS,阻燃PBT等材料,具有巨大的市场价值。

技术领域
本发明涉及高分子材料技术领域,具体地说,是一种金属钝化高强度PE材料及其制备方法。
背景技术
聚乙烯(polyethylene,PE)是乙烯经聚合制得的一种热塑性树脂。聚乙烯树脂来源范围广,价格低廉,电气、加工性能好,被大量应用于日用品、外包装、汽车车体、建筑行业以及家用电气等方面。聚乙烯没有刺激性气味、几乎没有毒性、具有良好的耐低温性能,其化学稳定性优异,耐大多数酸碱,常温下不溶于一般溶剂,吸湿性较小,电绝缘性能好等优点。因其优异的性能,聚乙烯被广泛用于电缆、插座绝缘材料。聚乙烯的热氧化降解是按典型的自由基连锁反应机理进行的,在这一过程中,氢过氧化物是氧化反应的中间体,它继续分解成自由基,重新引发进一步热氧化。但是,氢过氧化物自分解成自由基的过程需要相当高的能量,此过程只有在较高温度(一般为120℃)下才能进行。然而,在某些金属离子如Cu+、Fe3+、Mn4+等的存在下,即使在室温条件下,由于这些离子的催化作用,氢过氧化物能很快分解成自由基,加速了聚烯烃的氧化。这种现象对于在使用过程中直接与铜等金属接触的产品(如线缆、插座、墙壁开关)来说尤为突出。
对聚合物进行增强改性是赋予其高性能能的有效方法,其中采用最多、应用最广的是玻纤增强。其主要分为短玻璃纤维(SGF)增强、玻璃纤维毡增强(GMF)和长玻纤增强。一般短纤维增强的热塑性塑料成型的制件中纤维长度约为0.3mm,而在长纤维增强热塑性塑料中,纤维长度可达到3mm以上,因此大大提高了制品的力学性能,尤其是耐冲击、耐蠕变、耐热性能都得到了很大的改善。对界面强度相当而纤维长度不同的增强体系而言,纤维长度越长,纤维与树脂的界面粘结力就越大,树脂所受到的负荷就可以更有效的转移到玻璃纤维上。如若纤维长度过小,与树脂基体的表面连接强度过小,容易引起玻纤从树脂中脱离拔出,从而导致玻璃纤维起不到增强作用。因此玻纤长度必须高于一临界值,当玻纤长度低于这个临界长度时,玻纤只起到填充作用。因此,提高玻纤的最终保留长度,能显著增加材料的力学性能(陈生超,长玻纤增强聚丙烯注塑成型中纤维断裂和分布的初步研究,郑州大学硕士学位论文)。
中国专利文献CN201410478934.6,公开了一种含海藻酸盐抗铜剂聚丙烯复合材料及其制备方法。该发明采用海藻酸盐抗铜剂,该抗铜剂对金属离子的螯合能力强,螯合稳定常数大,金属离子被螯合后不容易解离,具有很强的抑制重金属离子催化老化的能力及抗铜害效果。中国专利文献CN200910193699.7,公开了一种耐铜害玻纤增强聚丙烯复合材料及其制备方法,该发明的聚丙烯与玻璃纤维界面粘结力强,具有力学性能优异、无浮纤、耐热老化及抗铜害性的优点。中国专利文献CN200510026763.4,公开了一种高抗热氧老化性能的玻纤增强聚丙烯材料,它是由聚丙烯、马来酸酐接枝的聚丙烯、玻璃纤维、稳定剂DSTP、稳定剂3114、稳定剂618制备的,其具有成本低、各项力学性能优异、抗热氧老化性能优异等特点。上述材料都具有抗金属离子催化老化抗铜害性,但它们的力学性能均不佳。本领域人员知晓,阻燃材料的使用寿命除了与其阻燃抗氧化性能有关,往往还取决于材料的力学性能(如抗冲击能力及拉伸强度)。具有相同的阻燃、抗氧化、耐热性能的条件下,高强度的材料使用寿命更长。因此,提高抗铜害材料的力学性能,使材料兼具抗铜害、阻燃及高力学性能具有重要的现实意义。
发明内容
本发明的目的是针对现有技术中的不足,提供一种金属钝化高强度PE材料。
本发明的再一的目的是,提供一种金属钝化高强度PE材料的制备方法。
为实现上述目的,本发明采取的技术方案是:
一种金属钝化高强度PE材料,它是由以下重量份的原料组成:聚乙烯42-63份;连续长玻纤23-32份;复配型无卤阻燃剂22-26份;抗铜剂0.3-0.5份;相容剂3-5份;抗氧剂0.2-0.5份;润滑剂0.1-0.6份。
所述聚乙烯熔融指数为15-50g/min。
所述的相容剂为下述情形之一:
a)马来酸酐或其类似物、丙烯酸酯或其酯类衍生物;或它们的混合物;
b)由a)接枝聚合物;所述聚合物为聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯与丙烯酸酯的共聚物、苯乙烯与丁二烯的共聚物、乙烯-丙烯-丁二烯三元共聚物、苯乙烯-乙烯-丁烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物、或它们的混合物。
所述的复配型无卤阻燃剂为磷系阻燃剂与氮系阻燃剂复配;所述的磷系阻燃剂为磷酸三苯脂、磷酸三乙脂、间亚苯基四苯基双磷酸酯、双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯)中的一种或多种;所述的氮系阻燃剂为三聚氰胺、焦磷酸三聚氰胺、硼酸三聚氰胺、聚磷酸三聚氰胺中的一种或多种。
所述的抗铜剂为MDA-5(N-水杨酰胺基邻苯二酰亚胺)、Irganox1024、SR-697(2,2-草酰胺基双-[乙基-3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸)中的一种或多种。
所述的抗氧剂为抗氧剂1010、抗氧剂1076、抗氧剂PS802、抗氧剂168中的一种或多种。
所述的润滑剂为硬脂酸钙、硬脂酸锌、油酸酰胺、聚乙烯蜡中的一种或多种。
为实现上述第二个目的,本发明采取的技术方案是:
一种金属钝化高强度PE材料的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
(1)按照权利要求1-7任一所述的组分及重量分数备料;
(2)将聚乙烯、复配型无卤阻燃剂、抗铜剂、相容剂、抗氧剂、润滑剂加入到三螺杆挤出机中,通过三螺杆挤出机塑化后,输送到转体式高温熔体压延浸渍模具内;所述三螺杆挤出机温度为255-265℃;所述模具温度为265-345℃;
(3)将连续长玻纤以120-180m/min的速度牵引输入长度为2-4m的模具中,充分压延浸渍后,冷却,切粒即得。
本发明优点在于:
本发明的金属钝化高强度PE材料在保证优异的高阻燃(V0级)、高抗铜害性能的同时,通过原料PE与阻燃剂、抗铜剂具有较好的相溶性,使得组分中的聚乙烯、阻燃剂、抗铜剂更好的结合,不影响改性聚乙烯的其他性能。此外,本发明的PE材料通过压延浸润的生产方式,采用该种方法能提高玻纤的保留长度,从而提高材料的力学性能。基于上述原因,本发明的改性PE材料不仅具有优良的阻燃性能、抗铜害能力,还具有高强度的优点,其力学性能甚至是普通PE材料的2倍。本发明的改性PE材料可用于替代传统的阻燃PA,阻燃ABS,阻燃PBT等材料,具有巨大的市场价值。

下面结合具体实施例对本发明进行详细说明。以下实施例将有助于本领域的技术人员进一步理解本发明,但不以任何形式限制本发明。应当指出的是,对本领域的普通技术人员来说,在不脱离本发明构思的前提下,还可以做出若干变形和改进。这些都属于本发明的保护范围。
实施例1
(1)按表1所述的组分及重量份数备料;
(2)将聚乙烯、复配型无卤阻燃剂、抗铜剂、相容剂、抗氧剂、润滑剂加入到三螺杆挤出机中,通过三螺杆挤出机塑化后,输送到转体式高温熔体压延浸渍模具内;所述三螺杆挤出机温度为260℃;所述模具温度为320℃;
(3)将连续长玻纤以130m/min的速度牵引输入长度为2m的模具中,充分压延浸渍后,冷却,切粒即得。
所述聚乙烯熔融指数(按ISO 1133标准执行测试)为40g/min;所述相容剂为马来酸酐;所述阻燃剂为磷酸三苯脂与三聚氰胺按重量比为1:1复配;所述抗铜剂为MDA-5(N-水杨酰胺基邻苯二酰亚胺);所述抗氧剂为抗氧剂1010;所述润滑剂为硬脂酸钙。
实施例2
(1)按表1所述的组分及重量份数备料;
(2)将聚乙烯、复配型无卤阻燃剂、抗铜剂、相容剂、抗氧剂、润滑剂加入到三螺杆挤出机中,通过三螺杆挤出机塑化后,输送到转体式高温熔体压延浸渍模具内;所述三螺杆挤出机温度为250℃;所述模具温度为285℃;
(3)将连续长玻纤以170m/min的速度牵引输入长度为3m的模具中,充分压延浸渍后,冷却,切粒即得。
所述聚乙烯熔融指数为25g/min;所述相容剂为甲基丙烯酸甲酯;所述阻燃剂为磷酸三乙脂与硼酸三聚氰胺按重量比为1:1复配;所述抗铜剂为Irganox1024;所述抗氧剂为抗氧剂1076;所述润滑剂为硬脂酸锌。
实施例3
(1)按表1所述的组分及重量份数备料;

所述聚乙烯熔融指数为15g/min;所述相容剂为马来酸酐接枝聚乙烯;所述阻燃剂为间亚苯基四苯基双磷酸酯与焦磷酸三聚氰胺按重量比为1:1复配;所述抗铜剂为ST-697(2,2-草酰胺基双-[乙基-3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸);所述抗氧剂为抗氧剂1076;所述润滑剂为油酸酰胺。

(1)按表1所述的组分及重量份数备料;

(3)将连续长玻纤以180m/min的速度牵引输入长度为4m的模具中,充分压延浸渍后,冷却,切粒即得。

(3)将连续长玻纤以140m/min的速度牵引输入长度为3m的模具中,充分压延浸渍后,冷却,切粒即得。

(2)将聚乙烯、复配型无卤阻燃剂、抗铜剂、相容剂、抗氧剂、润滑剂加入到三螺杆挤出机中,通过三螺杆挤出机塑化后,输送到转体式高温熔体压延浸渍模具内;所述三螺杆挤出机温度为260℃;所述模具温度为320℃;
(3)将连续长玻纤以1230m/min的速度牵引输入长度为3m的模具中,充分压延浸渍后,冷却,切粒即得。

所述聚乙烯熔融指数为25g/min;所述相容剂为甲基丙烯酸甲酯;所述阻燃剂为三聚氰胺;所述抗铜剂为海藻酸钾;所述抗氧剂为抗氧剂1076;所述润滑剂为硬脂酸锌。
材料性能测试:将上述材料在鼓风烘箱中于90℃干燥4小时后,用塑料注塑成型机注塑成标准样条;将注塑好的样条在50%的相对湿度、23℃放置至少24小时后进行性能测试。

通过实例1~5的对比发现,抗铜剂MDA-5的加入,抑制了铜离子催化聚乙烯老化的作用,提高了改性聚乙烯在特定环境中耐铜老化性能,抗铜害效果显著,并且抗铜剂的加入对改性聚乙烯的其他性能如阻燃性、力学性能无不利影响。另外,连续长玻纤的加入明显提高了材料的各项性能。

Claims (4)

1.一种金属钝化高强度PE材料,其特征在于,它是由以下重量份的原料组成:聚乙烯50份;连续长玻纤25份;复配型无卤阻燃剂24份;抗铜剂0.4份;相容剂4份;抗氧剂0.2份;润滑剂0.3份;所述的抗铜剂为Irganox1024中的一种或多种;所述的复配型无卤阻燃剂为磷酸三乙脂与硼酸三聚氰胺按重量比为1:1复配;所述相容剂为甲基丙烯酸甲酯;所述抗氧剂为抗氧剂1076。
2.根据权利要求1所述的金属钝化高强度PE材料,其特征在于,所述聚乙烯熔融指数为15-50g/min。
3.根据权利要求1所述的金属钝化高强度PE材料,其特征在于,所述的润滑剂为硬脂酸钙、硬脂酸锌、油酸酰胺、聚乙烯蜡中的一种或多种。
4.一种金属钝化高强度PE材料的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
(1)按照权利要求1-3任一所述的组分及重量份数备料;
(2)将聚乙烯、复配型无卤阻燃剂、抗铜剂、相容剂、抗氧剂、润滑剂加入到三螺杆挤出机中,通过三螺杆挤出机塑化后,输送到转体式高温熔体压延浸渍模具内;所述三螺杆挤出机温度为255-265℃;所述模具温度为265-345℃;
(3)将连续长玻纤以120-180m/min的速度牵引输入长度为2-4m的模具中,充分压延浸渍后,冷却,切粒即得。
