Description

两层分隔式罐包装件
发明背景
本发明一般涉及一种以两层或多层方式排列的诸如饮料罐这样的物品的包装件,更为特别地涉及在物品各层之间具有分隔板的这样的包装件。
系列号为08/049,787的美国专利叙述了一种多层罐包装件,其中两层或多层配置的多个饮料罐包含在一纸箱内。按照该发明,在一个包装件中的24罐例如可以排列成在竖直方向上的3×4矩阵的两层。这样的包装与传统的单层罐包装相比在其侧面有双层高的图形区域。
多层罐包装并非没有缺点。由于相对较高的高度和其多层结构,此种包装件易遭受作用在对角线方向上的破坏力,从而在遭受这样的力时其易于歪斜。这种倾向在纸箱比其内容物大很多的松散的包装的情况下更为明显。在多层罐包装件中普通使用的无凹陷分隔板常常造成松动的包装件。这种无凹陷纸质分隔板放在罐的各层之间可以引起纸箱内容物的高度的“收缩”因此引起包装件的松动。纸箱反复的歪斜可能更加使它松动,使其削弱并毁损其外貌。
另一缺点存在于在用上面叙述的分隔板把罐分层叠垛的过程中。例如为形成多个罐的两层排列,在分隔板放在下层罐的顶面上之后把一已经排列好的上层的罐放在已经排列好的下层的罐上滑动。在这个过程中,分隔板因上层的罐被磨擦推动而可能与下层的罐对不齐,甚至会离开下层。
因此,所需要的是一个在结构上稳定的或刚性的具有一层或多层分隔板的多层包装件和制造这样一种包装件的方法,它能解决在使用分隔板时上层的罐在下层的罐上滑动的问题。
本发明的目的是提供一种两层分隔式罐包装件。
发明概要
为满足上述需要,本发明提供一种包装件,它包括多个至少以两层竖直排列成组的饮料罐,一配置在该组罐之外部周围的纸箱,一配置在上、下相邻层之间并与上、下相邻层中的罐相接触的分隔板,和为将分隔板固定于该纸箱的端部封装结构的固定装置。每一罐具有一普通的确定一圆柱轴的圆柱侧壁。每一层中的罐的轴线竖直配置并彼此平行。该纸箱除端部封装结构外还包括有顶板和底板。顶板和底板通过一对侧板互连而形成一空心结构,空心结构的两相对的开启端由端部封装结构来封装。端部封装结构连接到空心结构上并紧靠饮料罐组的两相对端的罐的侧壁放置。
本发明的包装件在结构上是稳定的和刚性的,它能抵抗作用于该包装件对角线上的破坏力,并在经受这样的力时不易歪斜。这是因为端部封装结构固定到夹紧在罐各层之间的分隔板上。
在一优选实施例中,固定/锁紧装置包括一对连接在分隔板上的固定折板,其粘牢在端部封装结构上。固定折板可以可折叠地连接在分隔板的相对的端部边缘上,而分隔板的边缘分别配置在纸箱的端部封装结构的附近处。
可选择的另一方案是固定/锁紧装置包括一可折叠地连接到分隔板上的固定折板,一在固定折板上形成的锁定孔和一从纸箱压制出的锁定突片以便被放置在锁定孔内。
在本发明的包装件内,分隔板可以具有把分隔板分成两部分的撕裂装置。这样的装置的一优选实施例是在分隔板上形成的撕裂线。可选的另一方案是撕裂装置可以是一由在分隔板上形成的一对平行的撕裂线限定的撕裂条。

实施例的详细说明
本发明主要是试图用于包装饮料时所用的那一类型的铝罐或钢罐。这样的罐的一典型例子包括一称作“单个无缝拉伸罐体”和一带拉耳开启特征的盖。更特别地说,这样的罐包括一通常为圆柱形的侧壁和上下的相对端。罐的上端包括一周向凸缘和一顶面,该顶面凹陷在凸缘的下面。
上端部的凸缘的直径大于下端部的直径。从而,在叠垛时罐的下端部可以落套入下面罐的上端部,以便该下端部座放在顶部面上或在凸缘的内表面上。
按照本发明,提供一种包装件,其中以多层排列方式将10个如上所述的罐装入一个纸箱中。参照图1可以看到这样的罐的排列的一个例子。其中如图所示,每层六罐的两层排列,以提供装有十二个罐的包装件。当然,可以看出本发明可用于任何排列或每一层任意数目的罐,也可用于多于两层的罐的排列。
为防止叠垛的罐的顶部和底部之间金属对金属的接触,在罐10的各层之间放置一分隔板30,其置放在下层的罐的顶部面上,同时支持上层的罐底部。分隔板30可以从图2的平面图中看到。分隔板30包括一主部分31,其形成用于图1中所示的两层2×3的罐的矩阵的形状。最好主部分31的表面面积近似等于一层罐的水平部分的横断面积。

凹陷部分32在把分隔板30放在下层罐上之前形成,最好在制造时形成,而且可以由已知的传统技术来制成。例如,凹陷可以使用压模机用传统的方法形成,该压模机为一种安装有压模的传统的压模切割机。
当分隔板30放置在两层罐之间时,每一凹陷区32接受一上层罐的相邻下端,而在每一凹陷区的纸板材料“罩住”下层罐的相邻罐的凸缘的上和内表面。这是由于凹陷区32的直径通常等于罐凸缘的直径这一事实的原因。因为凹陷区32具有等于凸缘高度的深度,所以纸板在上层的罐相邻的下端和下层的罐的上端之间完全伸展。否则这二部分就会接触。这就消除了固体分隔板由于上层的罐的重量的影响而向下挤压可能会导致一完整的罐排列的高度出现“收缩”的缺陷。

图2中还示出,一对固定折板34沿折线38可折叠地连接到主部分31的相对两端。最好这些折板34沿折线38的长度稍微小于主部分31的长度。这些固定折板的功能是在结构上为加强完成的包装件,以及在组装如图1中所示的多层罐的排列时来固定分隔板30,这将在后面作详细叙述。在主部分31上形成一条横向撕裂线20,使其在横跨主部分31整个延伸。撕裂线20包括一对斜形裂缝22,其从主部分31的边缘向内延伸,和一系列间隔的弧形裂缝24,其插置在裂缝22的中间。斜形裂缝22提供尖的拉耳,它可以很方便地用手指拿住。

用于这样的纸箱的坯板可以经参考图4看到,该纸箱包括一底板40和一顶板42,每一个均沿折叠线44和46分别与一侧板48相连。在其相对侧,底板40沿折叠线50与部分侧板52相连,而顶板42沿折叠线54与部分侧板56相连。
侧板48设有由在侧板48上形成的撕裂线43和45所确定的撕开折板41。撕裂线43和45从折叠线46向折叠线44越过折叠线44和46之间的中点伸展,它们彼此向内弯曲,并与一初始撕裂裂缝47连通,确定出一个可折叠地连接到撕开折板41上的拉片49。任何其它类型的已知的撕开装置可以替代撕开折板41。例如,确定出撕开折板41的撕裂线可以延伸到顶板42上,以使得在使用折板41的纸箱上所要形成的开口加大。重要的是,撕开折板在竖直方向上的长度要大于完整的包装件的高度的一半,以使得在撕开折板拉开后至少下层罐的一部分暴露出来。在纸箱中的罐的层数为N的场合,撕开折板的竖直长度最好超过罐的高度的N-1倍。
再回到图4,端部封装结构部分地以端部折板58和60的形式提供给纸箱,它们可分别沿折叠线62和64可折叠地连接到底板40的端部边缘。另外,端部折板66和6分别沿折叠线70和72可折叠地连接到顶板42的端部边缘。端部折板74和76分别沿折叠线78和80可折叠地连接到侧板48的端部边缘上。另外的端部封装结构以部分端部折板82和84形式设置,它们分别沿折叠线86和88可折叠地连接到部分侧板52的端部边缘上。同样地部分端部折板90和92分别沿折叠线94和96可折叠地连接到部分侧板56的端部边缘上。
在端部折板74和76以及部分端部折板82、84、90和92上形成另外的折叠线100来确定一倒角板102。另外,每一端部折板74和76和部分端部折板82、84、90和92由一腹板结构104可折叠地互连到邻近的其中一个端部折板58、60、66和68上。每一腹板结构104由一折叠线105限定,其与把顶板40或底板42分别连接到其中相应一个侧板48、52、或56的折叠线共线。腹板结构104另外还由一折叠线106来限定,该折叠线相对于相应的一个端部折板58、60、66和68以一角度向内延伸。
有关纸箱坯板的特定结构的进一步的细节可以从参考文献美国专利第4,216,861号中看到,其作为参考结合于此。
图4所示的纸箱坯板通过把部分侧板52和56粘到一起而形成一完整的侧板,从而可以装配成图5中所示的空心箱管。如图5所示,空心纸箱然后可以通过由箭头108示出的一端或两端装入排列好的罐和分隔板30。这样装入空心纸箱使得分隔板30的固定折板34通过空心纸箱的开口端暴露出来。在排列好的罐和分隔板30放在纸箱中之后,把端部折板74和76与部分端部折板82、84、90和92向纸箱内部折叠使其相对于空心纸箱的轴线成直角设置。这可通过把端部折板58、60、66和68向纸箱的外部折叠而自动完成,如图6所示。之后,在折板34和端部折板74、76、90和92上施加任何适合的粘接剂线110和112,然后把端部折板66和68向下折叠到闭合位置。通过这种方法,使端部折板66固定在相邻的固定折板34和端部折板74和90,而端部折板68固定在相邻的固定折板34和端部折板76和92上。接着,在端部折板74、76、82、84、90和92和端部折板58和60的内表面上施加任何适合的粘接剂线114和116。然后把端部折板58和60向上折叠到闭合位置。这使得端部折板58固定在端部折板66、74、82和90上,同时使端部折板60固定在端部折板68、76、84和92上。其结果,制作出图7中所示的完整的包装件。有关纸箱的端部折板的折叠顺序的进一的细节可参考前面提到的美国专利第4,216,861号。
图7中所示的完整的包装件在结构上是稳定和刚性的,因为它能抵御作用其对角线的破坏力并在承受这样的力时不易歪斜。这是由于这样的事实,即端部折板58、60、66和68直接或间接地固定在分隔板的固定折板34上,其紧紧地夹在罐10的各层之间。换句话说,包装件的刚性并不更多依赖于相邻的端部折板诸如端部折板66和90、端部折板58和74等之间的粘接。这意味着一减小了尺寸的端部折板像74、76、82、84、90和92就足够了。这样小的端部折板允许纸箱坯板以一嵌套的关系水平布置,并因此对增加从具有标准宽度的纸板上裁制纸箱坯板的数目很有帮助。
为打开图7中所示的包装件,把侧壁48沿撕裂线43和45撕开,而将撕开折板41如图8所示向上升起。通过抬起撕开折板41而形成的开口使得上层的罐10从中穿过纸箱取出。为从纸箱中取出下层的罐10,在上层的罐10全部或大部从纸箱中取出之后把分隔板30沿撕裂线20撕开。这是需要的,因为分隔板30的两相对端被固定在纸箱上。处在撕开的过程中的分隔板示于图8。
应当认识到,对前述内容可以做很多改变而不脱离本发明的范围。例如,可能使用改变的纸箱式样像具有方形角的纸箱而不是在此所示的有倒角的纸箱。另外,使用在该技术领域已知的和被认识的结构,纸箱的设计可以通过另外的把手、其它的撕开开口特征等等而加强。
另外还应认识到,可以用两个或多个分隔板来代替单一的分隔板30,其每一个放置在堆叠的罐的排列的各部分之间。这种方法在希望把较高的许多罐放在纸箱内和/或希望从两开口端向纸箱内装入罐时特别有用。这种方法通过在装入纸箱的过程中把多个分隔板的各自的固定折板固紧在一起而成为可能。例如,两组分开的罐的排列之一可以在它的一个固定折板上施用粘接剂,然后这两组排列的罐可以通过其相对的开口端装入纸箱中,而带粘接剂的折板面向纸箱的内部。这种粘接剂在装入过程完成后把排列好的罐的各自的分隔板互相连接。
另外还应认识到,尽管在前面的叙述中仅一个端部折板,亦即折板66或68直接固定在纸箱的每一端部的相邻固定折板上,但也可以上下端部折板或甚至在纸箱的每一端部的所有的端部折板都直接固定在相邻的固定折板上。可选的另外方案是粘接剂线112和116可能省略。
另外应该易于理解,任何在本技术领域中公知的机械锁定方式可代替粘接线用于将分隔板固定在按照本发明的纸箱外部的目的。
对前述内容可以进行其它的变型而不离开本发明所要求权利要求的范围和精神。例如,图9表示分隔板30的改进形状。改进的分隔板30a包括一主部分31a,它制成为使用两层3×4矩阵的罐的形状。该分隔板的值得注意的特征在于它设有一可去掉的突片122,它沿撕裂线124连接到至少一个固定折板34a的自由端。这个或这些可去掉的突片最好用作可去掉的附件,然而也可用于其它所希望的目的。分隔板30a的其它部分与分隔板30相似,因此它们用带字母“a”的同样的数字表示。

Claims (14)

1.一种包装件,其包括:
多个至少以两层竖直对齐排列成组的饮料罐,每一所述罐具有普通的确定一圆柱轴的圆柱侧壁,在每一所述层中的所述罐有竖直设置且彼此平行的所述轴;
一设置在所述罐的所述组的外部周围的纸箱,其包括由一对侧壁互连的顶板和底板,而形成一限定一空心结构轴线的空心结构,其还包括一对配置的端部封装结构以封闭所述空心结构的相对的开口端,所述端部封装结构基本上紧靠所述组的所述罐的所述侧壁沿所述组的相对两端设置,每个所述端部封装结构包括上、下端部折板,它们可折叠地分别连接于所述顶板和底板上且相对所述空心结构轴线基本上成直角设置;
其特征在于:
一配置成在所述上下相邻层之间夹紧的分隔板,其与在所述上下相邻层内的所述罐接触;和
用于可粘接地将所述分隔板固定到所述端部封装结构上的装置,所述固定装置包括一对可折叠地分别连接到所述分隔板的相对端缘上的固定折板,所述固定折板基本上分别邻接所述端部封装结构设置,所述每个固定折板可粘接地固定到至少一个邻接其中一个所述端部封装结构的所述上、下端部折板的内表面上。
2.按照权利要求1所述的包装件,其特征在于,所述每一端部封装结构还包括一对可折叠地分别连接到所述纸箱的所述侧板上的侧端部折板,所述每一端部封装结构的所述上、下端部折板当平行于所述空心结构轴线设置时具有沿所述空心结构轴线的一第一长度,所述每一端部封装结构的所述侧端部折板当平行于所述空心结构轴线设置时具有沿所述空心结构轴线的一第二长度,所述第一长度明显大于所述第二长度。
3.按照权利要求1所述的包装件,其特佂在于,在所述上下相邻层之一中的所述罐分别与在所述上下相邻层的另外一层中的所述罐同轴地对直,每一所述罐具有上下端,每一所述罐的所述上端在直径上大于每一所述罐的所述下端,所述分隔板具有多个接受装置,用于接纳在所述相邻层的上层中的所述罐的所述下端,每一所述接受装置由一通常为与上、下同轴对直的所述罐的所述圆柱轴线同心的圆形边缘限定,而所述圆形边缘在直径上通常等于每一所述罐的所述上端。
4.按照权利要求3所述的包装件,其特佂在于,每一所述接受装置的所述圆形边缘包括一基本上为圆形的凹陷,该凹陷确定一朝向在所述相邻层的下面一层中的一相邻的所述罐延伸的凹陷区。
5.按照权利要求1所述的包装件,其特征在于,所述分隔板具有为把所述分隔板分成两部份的撕裂装置。
6.按照权利要求5所述的包装件,其特佂在于,所述撕裂装置包括在所述分隔板上形成的一条撕裂线。
7.按照权利要求5所述的包装件,其特佂在于,所述撕裂装置包括在所述分隔板上形成的由一对平行的撕裂线确定的撕裂条。
8.按照权利要求1所述的包装件,其特征在于,所述每一罐沿所述圆柱轴线有一高度,所述纸箱的所述侧板大致紧靠所述组的所述罐的所述侧壁沿所述组的两相对端设置,所述纸箱的至少一个所述侧板包括为形成一开口以允许从所述纸箱内取出所述罐的撕开装置,而所述开口的竖直长度在所述层数为N时大于所述每个罐的所述高度的N-1倍。
9.按照权利要求1所述的包装件,其特征还包括:
用以在所述纸箱上形成一开口以允许从所述纸箱内取出所述罐的撕开装置;和
用于撕裂所述分隔板的撕裂装置,以使在所述上层的一些所述罐从所述纸箱的所述开口取走时能允许从所述下层取出所述罐。
10.按照权利要求9所述的包装件,其特佂在于,所述撕裂装置包括在所述分隔板上形成的一条撕裂线。
11.按照权利要求9所述的包装件,其特佂在于,所述撕裂装置包括在所述分隔板上形成的由一对平行的撕裂线确定的撕裂条。
12.按照权利要求9所述的包装件,其特佂在于,每一所述罐具有普通的确定一圆柱轴的圆柱侧壁,在每一所述层中的所述罐具有竖直设置且彼此平行的所述轴;而所述纸箱包括有由一对侧壁互连的顶板或底板而形成一空心结构。
13.按照权利要求12所述的包装件,其特佂在于,所述每一罐沿所述圆柱轴线有一高度,所述纸箱的所述侧板大致紧靠所述组的所述罐的所述侧壁沿所述组的两相对端设置,所述纸箱的至少一个所述侧板包括为在所述至少一侧壁上形成所述开口的所述撕开装置,而所述开口的竖直长度由下列公式确定:
L>(N-1)H
L是所述开口的所述竖直长度,N是所述层数,而H是每个所述罐的所述高度。
14.按照权利要求12所述的包装件,其特佂在于,所述纸箱还包括一对配置的端部封装结构以封闭所述空心结构的相对的开口端,所述端部封装结构连接到所述空心结构上并基本上紧靠所述组的所述罐的所述侧壁沿所述组的相对两端设置;所述固定装置包括一对连接到所述分隔板上并可粘接地固定在所述端部封装结构上的固定折板;所述空心结构限定一空心结构轴线;而所述撕裂装置包括在所述分隔板上形成的且延伸横过所述空心结构轴线的一条撕裂线。
