背景技术
在汽车、工业机器等领域,油封广泛地用作重要的机器部件。为移动或滑动的目的使用油封;但是,由密封件的摩擦热引起的密封油和密封材料的变质和设备中因摩擦阻力的能量损失在很多情况中导致问题。

将本发明的表面处理剂施用至其唇密封部分(lip-seal portion)的油封的实例包括标准油封,例如内含弹簧(spring-embedded)结合橡胶(bonded-rubber)的密封件、内含弹簧金属包装的(metal-cased)密封件、无弹簧结合橡胶的密封件、无弹簧金属包装的密封件、具有防尘唇边的内含弹簧结合橡胶的密封件、和具有防尘唇边的内含弹簧金属包装的密封件;和特殊油封,例如往复运动密封件、防污密封件、抗压密封件、双向密封件、和带套管的组合密封件(assembly seal)。

将包含15重量%的甲苯二异氰酸酯-三甲醇丙烷加合物(Desmodur L75,由Sumika Bayer Urethane生产; TDI加合物,约75重量%乙酸乙酯溶液)和85重量%的PTFE粉末(平均粒度:1μm)的表面处理剂施用至形成油封唇部的硫化氟橡胶表面,所述油封包含唇部和金属环。通过下列方法测量摩擦系数。
油封摩擦系数测量测试:
将表面处理剂施用至形成油封(内径:85mm,外径:105mm,宽:13mm)唇部的硫化橡胶表面至10μm的厚度,而后在200oC热处理30分钟。其后,紧密密封润滑油(Motor Oil SM OW-30,由Toyota生产)并在热测试温度为100oC和旋转数为2000 rpm的条件下,在测试开始后一个小时测量该密封件的摩擦力和张力以计算摩擦系数。评价产品的摩擦系数如下:0.34或更小:◎,0.35至0.44:○,0.45至0.54:△,和0.55或更大:×。(显然以◎或○显示低的摩擦作用)。
实施例2至6
在实施例1中,以各种方式改变TDI加合物的量和润滑剂填充物的种类和量。使用的石墨是由Nippon Graphite Industries生产的Graphite HPO,使用的二硫化钼是由Daito Lubricating Corporation生产的LM-13。
实施例7
在实施例2中,测量包含由硫化的丙烯酸类橡胶制成的唇部的油封的摩擦系数。
对比实施例1
在实施例1中,没有用表面处理剂对唇部进行表面处理。

在实施例7中,没有用表面处理剂对唇部进行表面处理。
对比实施例3
在实施例2中,以相同量的使用甲苯二异氰酸酯[TDI]代替TDI加合物进行用表面处理剂的表面处理。
下表显示在实施例和对比实施例中获得的测量结果。各成分的量以固体物质重量%表示。
Claims (4)
1.用于油封唇部的表面处理剂,其包含润滑剂填充物和由甲苯二异氰酸酯和三甲醇丙烷加合物组成的加成化合物,将所述表面处理剂施用至形成油封唇部的硫化橡胶的表面,所述油封包含唇部和金属环。
2.根据权利要求1所述的用于油封唇部的表面处理剂,其中所述润滑剂填充物是氟树脂粉末、 石墨、或二硫化钼。
3.根据权利要求1所述的用于油封唇部的表面处理剂,其中所述唇部是由氟橡胶或丙烯酸类橡胶的硫化产品制成。
4.油封,其包含由硫化橡胶制成的唇部,用根据权利要求1、2、或3所述的表面处理剂对所述唇部的所述表面进行表面处理。
