Abstract
一种玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂及其制备方法,该树脂按重量百分数计算,其包括如下组分:聚丙烯20~70%;扁平玻璃纤维20~50%;阻燃剂5~40%;加工助剂0.1~5%。该制备方法包括步骤:(a)将聚丙烯树脂于90~110℃的温度下在带有除湿干燥机烘箱中干燥4‑8小时;(b)称取阻燃剂及加工助剂并加入到高速混合机中高速预混;(c)将上述步骤(a)中聚丙烯、步骤(b)中混合物及称取的扁平玻璃纤维依次加入到双螺杆挤出机上熔融挤出造粒。

【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种聚丙烯树脂,具体涉及一种玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂及其制备方法。
【背景技术】
聚丙烯(PP塑料,英文名称是Polypropylene)是一种通用塑料之一,具有优良的综合性能、良好的化学稳定性,较好的成型加工性能和相对低廉的价格,在家用电子电器产品和汽车等领域得到了广泛的应用。
玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯能够使其强度增加,刚性提高,收缩率下降,尺寸稳定性上升。然而使用普通圆形截面形状的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯,在成型加工时容易产生翘曲的问题,而且玻璃纤维填充后的制品冲击强度差,受热易变形,表面粗糙等问题,限制了其应用。
【发明内容】
鉴于上述问题,本发明的目的是开发一种玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,该玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂能进一步提高聚丙烯树脂的拉伸强度、冲击强度、尺寸稳定性等力学性能,并能改善成型品的抗翘曲性,提高成型品的热变形温度。
为了达到上述目的,本发明的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,按重量百分数计算,其包括如下组分:
特别地,所述聚丙烯为无规共聚聚丙烯。
特别地,所述扁平玻璃纤维的扁平率为2~8,较佳为4~6。
特别地,所述扁平玻璃纤维的截面的短径为0.5~25um,截面的长径为1.0~250um。
特别地,所述阻燃剂包括主阻燃剂和助阻燃剂。
特别地,所述主阻燃剂为二乙基次磷酸铝、二乙基次磷酸锌、甲烷二(甲基次磷酸)铝、甲烷二(甲基次膦酸锌)中的一种或多种的混合物,所述助阻燃剂为磷酸三聚氰胺。
特别地,所述加工助剂为润滑剂、静电防止剂、抗氧化剂、紫外线吸收剂、脱模剂、着色剂中的一种或多种的混合物。
另外,本发明还提供一种玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂的制备方法,用于制备所述的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,该方法包括以下步骤:
(a)将聚丙烯树脂于90~110℃的温度下在带有除湿干燥机烘箱中干燥4-8小时;
(b)称取阻燃剂及加工助剂并加入到高速混合机中高速预混;
(c)将上述步骤(a)中聚丙烯、步骤(b)中混合物及称取的扁平玻璃纤维依次加入到双螺杆挤出机上熔融挤出造粒,双螺杆挤出机的各区间温度分别为:一区间150~180℃,二区间160~200℃,三区间160~200℃,四区间160~200℃,五区间160~200℃,六区间180~220℃,七区间180~220℃,八区间180~220℃,九区间180~220℃,机头温度为210~240℃。
相较于现有技术,本发明的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂及其制备方法,通过使用扁平截面形状的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,能进一步提高聚丙烯树脂的拉伸强度、冲击强度、尺寸稳定性等力学性能,并能改善成型品的抗翘曲性,提高成型品的热变形温度。

为对本发明的目的、功能及技术手段有进一步的了解,现结合具体实施例对本发明详细说明如下。
对比例及实施例中所使用的原材料如下:
聚丙烯为台化公司生产,牌号为K8009。
扁平玻璃纤维为Nittobo公司生产,牌号为820。
圆形玻璃纤维为Jushi公司生产,牌号为560H。
实施例1
本发明的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,按重量百分数计算,其包括如下组分:
将聚丙烯树脂于90~110℃的温度下在带有除湿干燥机烘箱中干燥4-8小时;称取阻燃剂及加工助剂并加入到高速混合机中高速预混;将上述步骤中聚丙烯及阻燃剂和加工助剂的混合物及称取的扁平玻璃纤维依次加入到双螺杆挤出机上熔融挤出造粒,双螺杆挤出机的各区间温度分别为:一区间150~180℃,二区间160~200℃,三区间160~200℃,四区间160~200℃,五区间160~200℃,六区间180~220℃,七区间180~220℃,八区间180~220℃,九区间180~220℃,机头温度为210~240℃。

上述对比例1及对比例2中的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂采用与实施例中相同的制备方法制备。
以上各实施例及对比例熔融挤出造粒后,然后在注塑机上注塑成型ASTM标准测试样条,按ASTM标准测试所得材料的机械性能,其中按照ASTM D638测试拉伸强度,按照ASTM D790测试弯曲强度及弯曲模量,按照ASTM D256测试冲击强度,并测试热变形温度、成型收缩率及成型品翘曲程度,测试结果如表1所示:

参照表1,将对比例1与实施例1比较,将对比例2与实施例2比较,并参照实施例3及4得出:
实施例中采用扁平玻璃纤维后与对比例中采用圆形玻璃纤维相比较,在得到的树脂的拉伸强度、弯曲强度、弯曲模量及冲击强度均提高了10%~30%,并降低了成型收缩率,提高了尺寸稳定性,且改善了成型时出现的翘曲缺陷,提高了成型品热变形温度,显示了扁平玻璃纤维的优异性。而且实施例中按照UL-94标准测试树脂的阻燃性能,均达到了UL94-V0等级。
同时,经过测试扁平玻璃纤维的扁平率在3以上,拉伸强度、弯曲强度和冲击强度及热变形温度可以维持在较高的水平,扁平玻璃纤维的扁平率在6以下,拉伸强度、弯曲强度和冲击强度可以维持在较高的水平。另外如果扁平玻璃纤维截面太细,玻璃纤维的纺线有时会比较困难得到,相反如果其截面太粗,由于与树脂的接触面积减少作为增强材料的增强效果会减小,因此,发明人经过悉心研究扁平率为4~6,截面短径为0.5~25um,截面的长径为1.0~250um时增强效果最好。
因此,使用扁平玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,能进一步提高聚丙烯树脂的物理性能,提高尺寸稳定性,改善翘曲缺陷,提高热变形温度,使其更加广泛应用于电子、电器、汽车等领域。
Claims (4)
1.一种玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,其特征在于,按重量百分数计算,其包括如下组分:
所述聚丙烯为无规共聚聚丙烯,所述阻燃剂包括主阻燃剂和助阻燃剂,所述主阻燃剂为二乙基次磷酸铝、二乙基次磷酸锌、甲烷二(甲基次磷酸)铝、甲烷二(甲基次膦酸锌)中的一种或多种的混合物,所述助阻燃剂为磷酸三聚氰胺;所述扁平玻璃纤维的扁平率为4~6。
2.根据权利要求1所述的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,其特征在于,所述扁平玻璃纤维的截面的短径为0.5~25um,截面的长径为1.0~250um。
3.根据权利要求2所述的玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂,其特征在于,所述加工助剂为润滑剂、静电防止剂、抗氧化剂、紫外线吸收剂、脱模剂、着色剂中的一种或多种的混合物。
4.一种玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂的制备方法,其特征在于,该方法包括以下步骤:
(a)将聚丙烯树脂于90~110℃的温度下在带有除湿干燥机烘箱中干燥4-8小时;
(b)称取阻燃剂及加工助剂并加入到高速混合机中高速预混;
