技术领域

背景技术
视频内容的传送已经从在特定的时间发送一组固定的现有节目发展到在任何时间提供可供下载的视频内容。记录技术的进步已经在很大程度上实现了在任何时间传送内容。能够存储大量视频内容的数字化、非线性的记录设备(硬盘驱动器)的发展,以及例如MPEG-2和现在的H.264的视频压缩标准的发展使得能够传输和记录全长度的影片和其他类型的视听节目来用于在任何时间传送。

发明内容
简单地说,根据本原理的优选实施例,一种控制在公共建筑物内的多个地点访问记录的内容的方法通过响应于在一个地点开始重放先前在另一地点被暂停的记录的内容的取消暂停命令来确定所述一个地点是否被授权接收内容开始。如果是这样,在所述一个地点开始重放暂停的记录的内容。
