Abstract

本发明涉及一种用于方型矿热炉冶炼用的柱体晶质石墨电极,其由于高度为1.1-4米,横截面形状为四边形或六边形的电极棒构成,本发明柱体晶质石墨电极适用于方型矿热炉,三相电极按平行线布置插入炉膛,并由变压器通过电缆、电极把持器向电极供电,使电极末端与炉料之间产生电弧,将电能转化为加热炉膛和熔化炉料所需的热能。采用本发明柱体晶质石墨电极使得炉内电极距各点的距离相等,炉内冶炼温度均匀,从而有效提高冶炼产品质量。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于方型矿热冶炼用的柱体晶质石墨电极。 
背景技术
目前生产企业多是根据电炉变压器的容量选用相应尺寸的石墨电极,石墨电极横截面形状为圆形的电极棒,按等边三角形布置插入圆形矿热炉炉膛,由于炉内冶炼温度不均匀,影响到冶炼产品的质量。 
发明内容
本发明所需要解决的技术问题是提供一种可满足方型矿热炉实用的,可使炉内冶炼温度均匀并有效提高冶炼产品质量的柱体晶质石墨电极。 
本发明采用如下技术方案: 
本发明由高度为0.7-3.6米,横截面形状为四边形或六边形的电极棒构成。本发明所述的柱体晶质石墨电极的截面积S为0.05m2≤S≤1.5m2。 
本发明石墨电极高度为2.5-3.5米。 
本发明所述的横截面形状为四边形的电极棒,其横截面形状为矩形、正方形、平行四边形或不规则的四边形。 
本发明积极效果如下:本发明柱体晶质石墨电极适用于方型矿热炉,三相电极按平行线布置插入炉膛,并由变压器通过电缆、电极把持器向电极供电,使电极末端与炉料之间产生电弧,将电能转化为加热炉膛和融化炉料所需的热能。采用本发明柱体晶质石墨电极使得炉内电极距各点的距离相等,炉内冶炼温度均匀,从而有效提高冶炼产品质量。 
本发明柱体晶质石墨电极检验,其测试结果如下:体积密度:1.58g/cm3,电阻率:10.7μ.Ω.m,灰分:0.50%,抗折强度:7.0Mpa。从实验结果来看,各项性能指标能够满足客户实用要求。本发明具有抗折强度高,电阻率低,灰分较低,在使用中抗氧化性能好,消耗低,冶炼的产品品位高的特点。

具体实施方式
如附图所示,本发明用作方型矿热炉的导电材料,其由高度为0.7-3.6米,横截面形状为四边形或六边形的电极棒构成。本发明所述的柱体晶质石墨电极的截面积S为0.05m2≤S≤1.5m2。以横截面形状为正方形的电极棒为例,其长×宽从100mm×100mm到1000mm×1000mm。柱体晶质石墨电极最佳高度为2.5-3.5米。其横截面形状为矩形、正方形、平行四边形或不规则的四边形。本发明横截面形状为规则的或不规则的六边形的电极棒。 
柱体晶质石墨电极可具有规则的几何形状:表面凹陷或氧化等缺陷,不得影响最小截面尺寸加工要求,内部不允许有空穴及夹杂物等缺陷。本发明特大规格柱体晶质石墨电极,在25500KVA特大容量金属硅炉进行试用,在使用中抗氧化性能好,冶炼的化学硅品位高,没有发现任何质量问题。

1.一种柱体晶质石墨电极,其特征在于:其由高度为0.7-3.6米,横截面状为四边形或六边形的电极棒构成。
2.根据权利要求1所述的柱体晶质石墨电极,其特征在于:所述的柱体晶质石墨电极的截面S为0.05平方米≤S≤1.5平方米。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的柱体晶质石墨电极,其特征在于:柱体晶质石墨电极高度为2.5-3.5米。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的柱体晶质石墨电极,其特征在于:所述的横截面形状为四边形的电极棒,其横截面形状为矩形、正方形、平行四边形或不规则的四边形。
