Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一种蒸汽熨斗,它的蒸汽室里具有一亲水性的涂层。本发明还涉及一种制备蒸汽熨斗的蒸汽室的亲水涂层的方法。
在当前的蒸汽熨斗都具有一贮水器,水以可调节的有规律的速率从贮水器进入到蒸汽室。上述蒸汽室有一部分位于蒸汽熨斗被加热的那一部位,即熨斗的底板,水在蒸汽室里变成蒸汽,上述蒸汽穿过熨斗底板上的蒸汽喷孔而喷到外面。
通常,蒸汽室由金属的四壁围成,金属壁一般说来包含有铝。当水直接从贮水器进入到蒸汽室的热金属底部时,会发生所谓“莱登结霜”(Leiden-frost”)效应:水在底面上不是最佳分布,而是以大滴的形状在表面上蹦跳;这些水滴甚至能飞离底面,穿过蒸汽室并从蒸汽喷孔离开熨斗,在这种情况下,蒸汽的形成过程不是最佳的。为了排除这种不希望出现的效应,通常至少是在蒸汽室的底部涂敷一层亲水的并有一定绝热性的涂层。籍助于蒸汽室涂层的亲水性质,流进来的水迅速地散布在蒸汽室的底部。涂层的一定的绝热性可保证热量从熨斗的底板逐渐地传递给加进来的水。蒸汽室的这两种性质有助于把水逐渐地和有效地转变成蒸汽。
在开头的一段中所描述的蒸汽蒸斗,还可以特别地从英国专利说明书GB773,741中了解到。在上述说明书中,所使用的蒸汽室涂层主要包括二氧化硅和填料,用一种碱性的胶体悬浮液,并且最好是用喷涂的方法,将上述二氧化硅和填料涂敷到蒸汽室的底部。依照上述专利说明书,当用pH值为9.5~10.5范围内的NaOH对胶体悬浮液进行稳定处理时,可以获得具有最佳性质的蒸汽室涂层。
本申请人已经清楚证实,原有的蒸汽熨斗都有缺欠。例如,已经发现产生了腐蚀的问题,特别是在高湿度和较高温度的环境下。这会引起蒸汽室涂层成鳞片状开裂并穿过蒸汽喷孔而脱离开熨斗。这种状况是非常不利的。
本发明的一个目的是克服上述腐蚀问题。为此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种特殊的蒸汽熨斗,它的蒸汽室涂层在温暖而潮湿的环境中并不容易腐蚀。另一个目的是提供一种新的方法,在蒸汽熨斗的蒸汽室里涂敷上述耐腐蚀的涂层。
这些目的以及其它的目的可以按下述方式来达到:提供一种在开头的那一段落中所描述的蒸汽熨斗,根据本发明,它的特征在于,其亲水性的蒸汽室涂层是耐酸的。从导致本发明的实验里已经发现,现有的蒸汽室涂层的腐蚀问题,是由碱性稳定剂、例如在二氧化硅涂层里存在的NaOH,与熨斗的底板的材料(一般总是包括有铝)反应而引起的。我们还发现现有的蒸汽室涂层对酸的腐蚀是敏感的。这种酸可以来源于蒸汽室所用的密封材料,该密封材料一般说来是由一种有弹性的聚硅酮橡胶构成的,其中含有少量的乙酸。这种酸可以从密封材料中跑出来,特别是在温暖的环境里,从而引起腐蚀。长期使用稀释的乙酸溶液作为脱钙剂会显著地增加腐蚀问题。以上述实验结果为基础,本申请人已经领会到:具有耐酸的蒸汽室涂层对克服上述的腐蚀问题是至关重要的。
依据本发明的一个优选的实施例,亲水性的蒸汽室涂层包含有一种酸式磷酸盐化合物。这可以理解为一种金属磷酸盐化合物,其磷酸根至少是单质子化的(HPO2- 4或H2PO1- 4)。这类化合物的例子有MgHPO4和Zn(H2PO42。已经发现在蒸汽室涂层中带有这种酸式磷酸盐化合物可以在很大程度上排除腐蚀问题。正如下面所解释的那样,这种酸式磷酸盐可以用作酸性胶体二氧化硅悬浮液的稳定剂。
在这方面,已经用实验证明了磷酸铝盐的化合物,更具体的说是三磷酸二氢铝(Al(H2PO43)。可以用来很好地进行涂敷。这些用作胶体二氧化硅悬浮液酸性稳定剂的化合物,与一部分二氧化硅一起,从蒸汽室涂层的悬浮液里稠化,随后又在涂层中起粘接剂的作用。已经发现,在蒸汽室涂层里存在磷酸铝盐可以确保上述涂层特别难溶于水, 并且也非常耐酸。
本发明还涉及一种制备蒸汽熨斗中蒸汽室内亲水性涂层的方法。该方法的特征在于:将含有氧化铝、氧化硅或氧化镁或它们的混合物的一种胶体悬浮液,用一种酸性稳定剂酸化处理,达到pH值为1-3,然后将此悬浮液引入蒸汽室里稠化而成为一种耐酸的、亲水的蒸汽室涂层。该悬浮液也可以包括其他的填料。根据本发明的这种方法的一个优选的实施例,其特征为:使用一种铝的磷酸盐,具体的说是Al(H2PO43,作为酸稳定剂。
以下通过实施例并参照附图对本发明进行更详细的解释,附图中:
图1是根据本发明的蒸汽熨斗的局部纵剖和局部正视图。
图2是根据本发明的蒸汽熨斗的底板的俯视图。
需要指明的是,为了清楚起见,各个构件的绝对及相对尺寸没有按比例绘出。在各附图中,相同的零件其标号相同。
图1所示的蒸汽熨斗包括一外壳,它扣在铝质底板2的底边上,底板2带有一个薄的不锈钢板底面3,底板3的内部带有向上的加强肋4,在其上以这样一种方式安装有铝板5,即使底板2的内部和板5之间形成一蒸汽室6。蒸汽室6用弹性的硅橡胶7密封,蒸汽熨斗还包括有一贮水器8。通过一个泵送机构9,水可以从贮水器8直接喷到要熨烫的衣服上。用泵装置10可以把水从贮水器8泵入蒸汽室5,以增加蒸汽出产量。水穿过板5上的小孔进入到蒸汽室6的底部。在英国GB-A2,213,207中有对泵送机构9和10更详细的说明。蒸汽室6的底部带有亲水性的蒸汽室涂层11。
图2是单独的底板2的俯视图。蒸汽室6以壁12为界。形成的蒸汽可以从缝隙13离开蒸汽室,然后穿过在底板14上的小孔-所谓蒸汽喷孔而离开熨斗,蒸汽室6的底部和壁12的一部分涂敷有亲水性的涂层。
亲水性的涂层依下述的方式制备:将一种含水的胶体SiO2悬浮液和一种填料,例如高铝红柱石(3Al2O3·SiO2),用±10%重量的Al(H2PO43进行稳定化处理,使之pH值达到2.0,接着将该悬浮液涂敷到蒸汽室6的底部。然后使之稠化。这样,即得到了亲水性的蒸汽室涂层11。悬浮粒子的相互键合及其与蒸汽室的铝质底的粘附被增强,因为(H2PO4-1离子既与金属也与氧化物反应,直到形成稳定的、不溶的、不再和水发生反应的化合物为止。已经发现,含有氧化铝、氧化硅、氧化镁或它们的混合物的胶体悬浮液。当按照本发明的方法涂敷时,可生成一种耐酸的蒸汽室涂层。还有,已经可以肯定,为了产生良好的效果,在蒸汽室涂层里的酸式磷酸盐的用量,必须达到1-40%(按重量计),优选的酸式磷酸盐的用量为10%(重量)。
在一个加速的耐久性测试中,对一批依据本发明的蒸汽熨斗和普通的熨斗进行比较。普通的熨斗的亲水性的蒸汽室涂层由按照在GB773,741中所描述的碱性胶体悬浮液制备的硅酸盐层组成。本发明的熨斗所含有的铝硅酸盐层,由酸性胶体悬浮液来制备。后者的酸度通过±10%重量的Al(H2PO43调整至pH2.0,两种类型的蒸汽熨斗都放置于温度为30℃,相对湿度9%的人工气候室中14天。先有的蒸汽室涂层在测试后表现出强烈的鳞片剥落现象,而依据本发明的蒸汽室涂层却不受影响。

Claims (2)

1、一种在蒸汽熨斗的蒸汽室里涂敷涂层的方法,其特征在于,将含有氧化铝、氧化硅、氧化镁或它们的混合物的一种胶体悬浮液,用一种酸性稳定剂进行酸化处理,使之pH值达到1~3,然后将该悬浮液引入蒸汽室并使之稠化,以形成一种耐酸的亲水的涂层。
2、一种如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,用铝的磷酸盐作为酸性稳定剂。
