本发明公开一种灯条结构及其光源装置,该灯条结构包含有一壳体,该壳体内部形成有一容置空间,且该容置空间用来容置一发光单元。该壳体包含有一卡合部,其用来卡合于该发光单元的一端,用于限制该发光单元沿一第一方向的位移,以及一止挡部,其用来止挡于该发光单元的一侧,用于限制该发光单元沿相异该第一方向的一第二方向的位移。该灯条结构另包含有一绝缘元件,设置于该壳体内部的一底面,以及两个导电元件,其贴附于该绝缘元件上,该两个导电元件分别用来接触该发光单元的两个电极端。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种灯条结构及其光源装置,尤其是涉及一种不需使用表面贴装技术,用于降低材料及制作工艺成本的灯条结构及光源装置。
背景技术
传统的灯条机构利用表面贴装技术(Surface Mount Technology,SMT)以将发光二极管安装于基板上。传统的基板包含有铝基板与铜箔基板。铝基板的材料成本及加工费皆非常昂贵,因此适用于高功率的发光二极管的应用上,例如大型尺寸的面板或大型显示器。铜箔基板(FR4板)的成本较铝基板便宜许多,其导热效率不如铝基板的散热效率,因此铜箔基板一般适用于低功率的发光二极管应用。由于铝基板与铜箔基板皆须使用表面贴装技术才可将发光二极管固定于其表面上,故传统灯条机构的制造成本高昂且制作工艺复杂繁琐,因此,如何设计出一款安装简单快速且成本低廉的灯条,即为现今显示器产业的重点发展目标。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种不需使用表面贴装技术,用于降低材料及制作工艺成本的灯条结构及光源装置,以解决上述的问题。
为达上述目的,本发明揭露一种灯条结构,其包含有一壳体,该壳体内部形成有一容置空间,且该容置空间用来容置一发光单元。该壳体包含有一卡合部,其用来卡合于该发光单元的一端,用于限制该发光单元沿一第一方向的位移,以及一止挡部,其用来止挡于该发光单元的一侧,用于限制该发光单元沿相异该第一方向的一第二方向的位移。该灯条结构另包含有二导电元件,其设置于该壳体内部的一底面,该二导电元件分别用来接触该发光单元的二电极端。
本发明另揭露该第一方向垂直该第二方向。
本发明另揭露该壳体另包含有一底座,其用来承载该发光单元,以及一包覆件,连接于该底座。该绝缘元件设置于该底座的一表面。该容置空间形成于该底座与该包覆件之间,且该卡合部与该止挡部设置于该包覆件上。

本发明不需使用传统的表面贴装技术即可将发光二极管稳定设置于灯条结构上。本发明的灯条结构及光源装置的结构简单、组装容易,不但可有效节省材料成本与制作工艺成本,且无损于发光二极管的光学效能与散热效率,可适用于侧入式背光模块及直下式背光模块。

请参阅图1与图2,图1与图2分别为本发明实施例的一光源装置10于不同应用模式的示意图。光源装置10可依据设计需求搭配一相对应光学板12,以应用于液晶面板或液晶显示器。如图1所示,光源装置10设置于光学板12(例如一导光板)的旁侧,以形成侧入式背光模块。如图2所示,光源装置10排列设置于光学板12(例如一扩散板)的底部,以形成直下式背光模块。光源装置10包含有多个发光单元14与一灯条结构16。发光单元14可为一发光二极管,灯条结构16用来固定该多个发光二极管,以将该多个发光二极管所产生的光线传递至光学板12而组成背光模块。
请参阅图3与图4,图3为本发明第一实施例的灯条结构16的外观示意图,图4为本发明第一实施例的灯条结构16的剖视图。灯条结构16包含有一壳体18及二导电元件20。导电元件20设置于壳体18内部的底面,其用来接触各发光单元14的正极端与负极端,以使多个发光单元14可以并联方式组合在一起。另一方面,为了减少材料处理时程与提高发光单元14的接合稳定,灯条结构16另可包含有二绝缘元件22,其分别设置于壳体18与相对应导电元件20之间。由于绝缘元件22可有效隔绝壳体18与导电元件20间的电性导通,故壳体18可由未经表面阳极处理的铝挤基材所组成,因此具有制造成本低廉及散热效率较佳的优点。此外,绝缘元件22可由弹性变形材料所组成,例如橡胶,绝缘元件22因材料变形所产生的弹性恢复力可用来辅助发光单元14紧密卡合于壳体18内。
此外,壳体18包含有一底座24、两个包覆件26、两个卡合部28、两个止挡部30及一导热部32。底座24用来承载发光单元14,且绝缘元件22设置于底座24的表面,用以隔绝底座24及导电元件20间的电性导通;两个包覆件26分别连接于底座24的两端,且两个包覆件26与底座24之间形成有一容置空间181,用以容置发光单元14;卡合部28与止挡部30分别设置于包覆件26上邻近容置空间181的一端。两个卡合部28同时用来卡合发光单元14的一上表面,用于限制发光单元14沿一第一方向D1(Z轴方向)的位移;两个止挡部30分别用来止挡于发光单元14的左、右两侧,用于限制发光单元14沿相异第一方向D1的一第二方向D2(X轴方向)的位移。两导电元件20之间可通过导热部32的隔绝而不会互相接触。一般来说,第一方向D1垂直于第二方向D2,如图3所示,使用者可将多个发光单元14沿着Y轴方向推入至壳体18内,且壳体18利用卡合部28与止挡部30分别限制各发光单元14沿着Z轴方向(第一方向D1)与X轴方向(第二方向D2)的位移,以形成光源装置10。
如图3所示,底座24与包覆件26可选择性地为两个独立构件,并通过多个锁固元件36相互接合,例如螺丝或螺栓,以达到组装简易快速的目的。包覆件26可选择性地由金属材质或非导体材质所组成,例如铝金属或塑胶材料;底座24则可由经阳极处理的金属材质所组成,例如经表面阳极处理的铝挤基材,此时导电元件20可直接贴附于壳体18内部的底面,意即导电元件20可设置于底座24上,用于导通电路并利用底座24的金属材质提供较佳的散热效率。另一方面,卡合部28与止挡部30可与包覆件26为一体成型的设计,且包覆件26另可以一体成型的方式连接于底座24。由于本发明的灯条结构16的壳体18具有单一方向性的结构特征,故壳体18可以铝挤型制作工艺以一体成型技术制作而成,意即底座24、包覆件26、卡合部28、止挡部30及导热部32为一体成型,用于有效降低制造成本。再者,导热部32位于两导电元件20之间,其设置于底座24(容置空间181的底面)上。使用者可于各发光单元14与导热部32之间的空隙填充散热膏,以使发光单元14所产生的热量可经由该散热膏传导至壳体18而散逸,故可提高灯条结构16的散热效率及延长发光单元14的使用寿命。
请参阅图5与图6,图5为本发明第二实施例的灯条结构16的外观示意图,图6为本发明第二实施例的灯条结构16的剖视图。第二实施例中与第一实施例相同编号的元件具有相同结构与功能,故于此不再详述。第二实施例与第一实施例的差异在于,第二实施例的绝缘元件34可包含有一凸缘部341。凸缘部341可用来防止导电元件20的侧边与底座24的内侧壁接触,以更完整地包覆导电元件20。由于导电元件20设置于壳体18的容置空间181内,为了避免各导电元件20因未确实粘贴于相对应绝缘元件22所产生的滑移,而接触到壳体18发生短路,第二实施例的绝缘元件34设计为一L型结构,该L型结构可确实隔绝于壳体18与导电元件20的底面及侧表面之间,故可有效防止光源装置10因短路而损毁。
综上所述,本发明的灯条结构及其光源装置是将发光单元安装于铝挤型壳体内。铝挤型壳体可区分为底座、包覆件、卡合部、止挡部及导热部,其分别具有承载、限位及散热的功能,且座、包覆件、卡合部、止挡部及导热部可为一体成型的设计。壳体内可设置两条导电元件,其分别电接触各发光单元的正极端与负极端以形成一并联电路。灯条结构的绝缘元件除了用来隔绝导电元件与壳体间的电性导通以防止短路外,还可通过其可弹性变形的特性,自各发光单元的底端施加一向上的弹性恢复力,以使发光单元可与壳体紧密卡合。此外,本发明的绝缘元件可依据壳体内部的容置空间与导电元件的配置关系设计成相对应形状,例如薄片状或L型结构,以确保绝缘元件可有效预防导电元件与壳体接触而发生短路。
相比较于先前技术,本发明不需使用传统的表面贴装技术即可将发光二极管稳定设置于灯条结构上。本发明的灯条结构及光源装置的结构简单、组装容易,不但可有效节省材料成本与制作工艺成本,且无损于发光二极管的光学效能与散热效率,可适用于侧入式背光模块及直下式背光模块。
以上所述仅为本发明的较佳实施例,凡依本发明权利要求所做的均等变化与修饰,皆应属本发明的涵盖范围。

1.一种用来固定一发光单元的灯条结构,其包含有:
壳体,该壳体内部形成有一容置空间,该容置空间用来容置该发光单元,该壳体包含有:
底座,其用来承载该发光单元;
卡合部,其用来卡合于该发光单元的一端,用于限制该发光单元沿一第一方向的位移;及
止挡部,其用来止挡于该发光单元的一侧,用于限制该发光单元沿相异该第一方向的一第二方向的位移;
两个导电元件,其设置于该壳体内部的一底面,该两个导电元件分别用来接触该发光单元的两个电极端;
导热部,位于该两导电元件之间且设置于该底面上,且在该发光单元与该导热部之间的空隙填充散热膏;以及
绝缘元件,其设置于该导电元件与该壳体的该底座之间,该绝缘元件由可弹性变形材料所组成,
其中,该发光单元为一发光二极管。

9.如权利要求7所述的光源装置,其中该壳体另包含有:
包覆件,连接于该底座,该容置空间形成于该底座与该包覆件之间,且该卡合部与该止挡部设置于该包覆件上。
10.如权利要求9所述的光源装置,其中该绝缘元件包含有凸缘部,其用来隔绝该导电元件与该壳体的该底座。
11.如权利要求9所述的光源装置,其中该卡合部及该止挡部与该包覆件为一体成型的设计。
12.如权利要求9所述的光源装置,其中该底座与该包覆件为一体成型的设计,或该包覆件通过一锁固元件与该底座接合。
