Abstract

背景技术
在美国专利No.4,165,836和No.6,702,198中公开了典型的无气喷头,上述专利的内容通过参考并入本文。在当前可反转喷头应用中,普遍的做法是将势能储存在O形环中,O形环位于致动喷枪的机械流体密封件之前并位于喷头之后。高势能储存材料的示例是O形环。其以下述方式储存能量:当喷枪关闭时,密封件能量降低并向油漆工的机件上喷射。
发明内容
本发明的目标是将无气喷头中的能量储存最小化从而将喷射容积最小化。该喷头组件的构造不同于现有技术的装置。针阀座已经被配合至每一个喷头组件。通过将喷头和阀座组件配合为一体,密封件可以从“死区”移出,因此减小了喷射容积。本发明消除了机械流体关闭阀之前的所有O形环,因此将喷射最小化。

具体实施方式
在诸如图1中示出的现有技术的可反转喷头组件10中,缸12包括已知设计的喷头14。死区16位于喷头14和关闭阀18之间,该关闭阀18由球20和阀座22构成。O形环密封件24位于死区16中并且可以储存能量和释放能量。当密封件24暴露于典型的无气喷涂压力、典型地是2000psi至3000psi时,密封件24是可压缩的。虽然任何材料理论上都是可压缩的,但是当在此处使用时,该术语指示了当暴露于这样的压力时可以被大致压缩和释放的材料。金属和类似的材料在它们的通常形式下不被认为是可压缩的。

Claims (1)
1.一种可反转无气喷头组件,包括:包含喷头的可旋转缸,和关闭阀机构,其中死区位于所述喷头和所述关闭阀机构之间,改进包括从所述死区消除了可压缩材料。
