背景技术
本公开内容涉及一种便于利用叉车等提升和运输物品的托盘,所述物品诸如是挠性中型散货集装箱(还不同地被称为挠性散货集装箱或集装袋),或者是诸如堆叠的较小袋的其它物品。
利用集装袋来容纳和运输各种类型的易流动散装材料。典型的集装袋包括主要由机织织物构成并且当被填充时具有大致的立方形或筒形的大袋。填满的集装袋在一些情况下可以重数千磅。这种集装袋被共同地支承在传统的木托盘上,该木托盘能由叉车提升。然而,因为木托盘的众所周知的缺点,已经努力用纸制托盘代替传统的木托盘。例如,本申请的受让人已生产出被称为LOADRIGHT托盘的纸板托盘。
发明内容
本公开内容旨在对诸如LOADRIGHT托盘的非木托盘进行改进。
根据本文所述的一个实施方式,非木托盘包括支承板(该支承板能由纸板、塑料、涂塑纸等制成),该支承板具有一定厚度并且大致处于平面中。一对槽形构件布置在所述支承板上,所述槽形构件相互平行地延伸并且间隔开,从而产生用于接收叉车的尖叉的一对导槽。

在一个实施方式中,每个突出部均被挤压而使得所述突出部的厚度小于所述支承板的厚度。这使得能更容易地弯折所述突出部,使得它们大致符合所述槽形构件的柱形顶面。减小的突出部厚度还能降低所述槽形构件上的由施加于所述突出部上的所述集装袋的重量引起的应力集中。
在另一实施方式中,每个突出部均在所述突出部的与所述铰合线相反的一侧具有圆角。这能降低所述支承板在该支承板中形成的孔的相应的角部处撕裂的可能性。所述突出部的所述圆角能降低该突出部被诸如所述集装袋的物口钩住的可能性。

根据如图2至4所示的本发明的一个实施方式,现有技术托盘的上述问题以及其它缺点通过对附接有紧固构件的突出部的某些修改来解决。图2示出了根据本发明的实施方式的支承板112。该支承板由诸如纸板、塑料、涂塑纸、或其它非木材料的材料构成。支承板可以具有范围从大约0.005英寸到大约0.5英寸的厚度,范围从大约16英寸到大约70英寸的宽度,以及范围从大约16英寸到大约70英寸的长度。通过沿着切割线120切过支承板的厚度使得突出部118形成为支承板的一体部分,每条切割线均是大致U形的。每条切割线120均具有间隔开的相对两端122,在隔开的相对两端122之间延伸有铰合线124。用于每个突出部的铰合线124均能通过沿着在切割线120的相对两端122之间延伸的路径局部挤压支承板112而使厚度减小来形成。每个突出部118均绕相应的铰合线124旋转,使得突出部从支承板的平面向外突出。
用于每个突出部的切割线120的相对两端122被远离彼此局部弯曲从而使铰合线124变长。这具有将施加于突出部118上的给定负载分布在较大范围内的效果,由此减小了纸质材料上的应力,并因此降低了突出部从支承板撕裂的可能性。
在一个实施方式中,每个突出部118均在其整个表面范围内被挤压,使得突出部的厚度被减小到小于支承板112的其它部分的厚度。这使得能够更容易地弯折突出部,使得它们大致符合槽形构件的柱形顶面并且紧靠该柱形顶面定位。减小的突出部厚度还能减小槽形构件上的由施加于突出部上的集装袋的重量引起的应力集中。
至少在一些实施方式中,本发明的另外特征是不沿着用于突出部的铰合线124对支承板的材料进行任何切割。这和沿着铰合线形成有穿孔的上述现有技术的托盘形成对比。没有这种穿孔也降低了沿着铰合线发生撕裂的可能性。
至少在一些实施方式中,本发明的进一步的特征是限定突出部118的切割线120的形状。具体地,一种有利的形状避免了在突出部118的远离铰合线124的端部处的尖角或直角。相反地,如图3所示,切割线120限定了用于突出部118的圆角126。这能降低支承板在该支承板中形成的孔的相应的角部处撕裂的可能性。突出部的圆角126还能减小突出部被诸如集装袋之类的物品钩住的可能性。
托盘还能包括用于每个突出部118的指孔128,该指孔贯通突出部以允许手指或工具插入其中并且被拉动以便使突出部绕铰合线124旋转。用于每个突出部的指孔能跨在限定突出部的切割线120上,使得指孔部分地形成在突出部中并且部分地形成在支承板的与突出部相邻的部分中,如图3所示。指孔能是圆形、椭圆形或任何其它适当的形状。
图4的局部分解图中示出了根据本发明的实施方式的托盘110。该托盘包括上述支承板112、一对槽形构件114以及紧固构件116,所述紧固构件附接到突出部118以将槽形构件固定到支承板。如图所示,紧固构件116可以足够长以穿过当突出部118旋转到支承板的平面外时产生的孔,并且完全围绕槽形构件114,通过支承板的下表面的下方(并且有利地粘附到该下表面),并且还被粘附到突出部118以及槽形构件的上表面。另选地,紧固构件能较短使得它们终止在突出部118处并且被粘附到突出部以及槽形构件的上表面。
根据本发明的托盘能用于两个取向中的任一取向。在第一取向中,支承板112位于槽形构件114下方并且直接安置在地板上;在第二取向中,托盘被翻转使得支承板位于槽形构件上方,并且槽形构件接触地板。因此,在本申请中对诸如“上”、“下”、“上方”、“下方”等的方向的说明应该被理解为仅与使用中的托盘的一个可行取向有关,但不排除其他取向。
根据本发明的托盘能是两向叉入或四向叉入。图4的托盘110是两向叉入式托盘。为了构造根据本发明的四向叉入式托盘,采用较短的槽形构件使得用于叉车尖叉的每个导槽均由多个间隔开的槽形构件形成,多个间隔开的槽形构件对准使得它们的纵向轴线是共线的。槽形构件之间的间隔允许尖叉从垂直于槽形构件的方向进入。
每个槽形构件114能够仅具有一个紧固构件116(特别是在槽形构件较短时),或者每个槽形构件能够具有两个或更多个紧固构件,在该情况下,紧固构件能沿着每个槽形构件的长度间隔开。
此外,如前所述,长形紧固构件116能被省略,并且槽形构件114能由其它类型的紧固装置(诸如钉、粘合剂、钩环扣或任何其它适当的紧固装置)固定到突出部118。
虽然所示的托盘110的每个槽形构件114具有四个突出部118,但是本发明不因此受限,如果需要,每个槽形构件能具有四个以上的突出部。

9.根据权利要求1所述的托盘,其中,所述支承板由纸板形成。
10.根据权利要求1所述的托盘,其中,所述支承板由塑料形成。
11.根据权利要求1所述的托盘,其中,所述支承板由涂塑纸形成。
12.根据权利要求1所述的托盘,其中,所述槽形构件包括通过将筒形管纵向切成两半而形成的半管。
13.根据权利要求1所述的托盘,其中,所述槽形构件包括纸板。
