本发明涉及一种骨水泥混合器。
背景技术
在外科手术中,骨水泥经常被用于骨的重建。
骨水泥通常由两种组分制备,一种为液体(单体),另一种为粉末(聚合物),所述两种组分彼此保持分离,直至将它们混合,在此处它们粘合在一起。当工作人员将液体组分倒入具有粉末的容器中时进行混合以形成水泥状混合物。
优选地,在封闭容器中对两种组分进行混合,以防止水蒸汽的扩散。这些容器通常设置有混合构件,通常为能够被手动地致动的活塞或刮勺。然后,所述骨水泥被转移并通过注射器注射到骨上。
外科医生倾向于寻求更稠的骨水泥,这是因为它们更容易施用,同时泄漏到身体内的可能性更小。但是,具有较高稠度需要在混合时花更多的力量,并由此存在适宜地混合两种组分而不过度用力的并发问题。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于使得医疗设备中的前述骨水泥混合更容易,这通过施加到混合器的壁上的“撞击或振动”而实现。
这个目的通过用于形成用于医疗用途的骨水泥的混合器而实现,所述混合器包括混合腔室,在该混合腔室中能够实施形成骨水泥的至少两种组分之间的混合,所述腔室由混合器的壁限定,其特征在于,所述腔室包括用于在混合腔室的至少一个壁的外侧产生和传递振动的装置。
所述产生和传递装置可以通过多种方式实现。
可以使用电能振动发生器,比如举例来说,抵靠混合腔室的壁、安装到电动机上的偏心器。动力可以通过例如集成在混合器中的电池来提供。但是,可以利用在混合期间由工作人员对混合器作用的摇晃运动。在这种情况下,有利的是使得用于产生和传递振动的装置具有可以自由振荡(撞击器)并撞击混合腔室的至少一个壁的外侧的质量块。
自由质量块可以是球体,或者一般地,是固定地连接——例如,通过绳索连接——到混合器的物体。或者所述质量块可以容纳在封闭腔室内,该封闭腔室与混合腔室共用一个壁,因此改进封闭腔室与混合器的整体性并使混合器更紧凑。
为提高撞击质量块的效率,所述封闭腔室和所述混合腔室之间的公共壁设置有较薄部分以利于公共壁自身的震动(sussultatory)运动。因此,公共壁的刚度减小而增强了其弯曲能力并进一步使得形成中的骨水泥运动。
本发明还解决了混合器与用于将骨水泥注射到骨中的装置——通常是注射器或压力分配器——的联接问题。
所述混合器应具有能够防止骨水泥被环境污染并使在操作室中的应用和使用操作更简单的结构。
为此,本发明提供具有鲁尔接头的混合器,骨水泥可以通过该鲁尔接头排出,鲁尔接头易于与注射器和/或计量管联接。优选地,混合器包括用于鲁尔接头的鲁尔帽。

具体实施方式
根据本发明的混合器以附图标记10指示。
所述混合器包括沿轴线X延伸的圆筒形外壳12,且外壳12在其内部限定混合腔室20,以及另一个开放的腔室40,该开放的腔室40靠近前一腔室20,且腔室40与前一腔室20共用公共壁30。
混合腔室20在混合器10的相应端部朝外开放,在其外侧表面上具有螺纹32,罩盖14可拧到螺纹32上以封闭所述腔室,形成所述腔室的其中一个壁(参见图2)。一旦待混合的组分已被置入腔室20中,便应用罩盖14并使其封闭。罩盖14的形状渐缩并在其顶点处具有鲁尔接头开口16,该鲁尔接头开口16被鲁尔帽18封闭。
封闭元件50可以被插入卡扣到腔室40中(参见图3和图4)。封闭元件包括圆形基底52以及中空的圆筒形中央体部56,该中央体部56在一端开放并在底部58封闭。基底52具有外周凸缘54,外周凸缘54适于卡扣到外壳12外侧的凸起42的边缘上。在体部56的内部具有尺寸较小的小球体22,小球体22在体部内自由运动并撞击体部的壁。
腔室40具有长形形状以及几乎等于体部56高度的深度,使得体部56能够插入到腔室40中(图3)。可以看到,小球体22能够在体部56内以良好的空隙远离和朝向壁30(沿轴线X)充分运动。
壁30的横截面是不平坦的。壁30具有较厚的中央部32以及较薄的环形部34。通过这种方式增强了中央部32相对于外壳12振荡的能力。
混合器10的操作如下。将元件50应用于混合器10,把待混合的组分引入到空腔20中,此后用罩盖14封闭空腔20。接着将混合器10握在手中并摇晃。因此,使小球体22在腔室40内动运且反复撞击壁30。借助于手动的摇晃来实现组分的混合,并通过由球体22冲击壁30产生的振动而显现出进一步的混合效果。即使骨水泥具有高稠度,这种振动也能够出人意料地改进混合。
还应当注意,漏斗形气密密封罩盖14终止于鲁尔接头16,该鲁尔接头16允许注射器与其连接并由此直接地抽取已混合的骨水泥。这意味着骨水泥具有最佳的无菌性。鲁尔帽18还改进了混合器10的使用的适应性和简易性特征。
带有鲁尔接头的技术方案能够实施在其它具有或不具有撞击质量块的混合器中。图5和图6中示出一些示例,第一示例为杯形混合器110,该杯形混合器110包括圆筒形外壳112且在其内部限定混合腔室。这种混合腔室朝外开放并由渐缩形罩盖114封闭,渐缩形罩盖114在其顶点具有鲁尔接头116,且其被鲁尔帽118封闭。
第二混合器210包括圆筒形外壳212,且圆筒形外壳212在其内部限定混合腔室220。这种混合腔室朝外开放并被渐缩形罩盖214封闭,渐缩形罩盖214在其顶点具有鲁尔附接件216,且其由鲁尔帽218封闭。

Claims (7)

1.一种用于获得用于医疗用途的骨水泥的混合器,所述混合器包括:
混合腔室,在所述混合腔室中能够实施形成所述骨水泥的至少两种组分的混合,所述腔室由所述混合器的壁限定,
其特征在于,所述混合器包括
用于在所述混合腔室的至少一个壁的外侧产生和传递振动的装置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的混合器,其中,所述用于产生和传递振动的装置包括能够自由振荡并撞击所述混合腔室的至少一个壁的外侧的质量块。
3.根据权利要求2所述的混合器,其中,所述质量块容纳在封闭腔室内,所述封闭腔室与所述混合腔室共用公共壁。
4.根据权利要求3所述的混合器,包括限定所述混合腔室的主体部以及能够永久性地与所述主体部联接的元件,所述元件具有空腔,所述质量块能够在所述空腔中运动,所述空腔具有开口,所述质量块能够从所述开口离开,一旦被联接,则所述开口面朝所述公共壁。
5.根据权利要求3或4所述的混合器,其中,所述封闭腔室与所述混合腔室之间的所述公共壁具有较薄部分以利于所述公共壁自身的震动运动。
6.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的混合器,包括鲁尔接头,所述骨水泥能够通过所述鲁尔接头排出。
7.根据权利要求6所述的混合器,包括用于所述鲁尔接头的鲁尔帽。
