Abstract

本发明公开了一种铜—碳纤维复合材料的制造方法,即在焦磷酸电镀液溶液中碳纤维连续镀铜的方法。其特点是能将多束碳纤维实现连续镀铜,而且工艺过程简单,容易控制,只需将碳纤维束进行清洗—表面活化处理—电镀—清洗,即可得到性能优良、稳定,适用范围广的铜—碳纤维复合材料。本复合方法其成品率近99%。这种铜—碳纤维复合材料可以用作电力半导体器件的支撑电极。

Description

本发明涉及一种新的铜-碳纤维复合材料的制造方法,特别是一种碳纤维连续镀铜的方法。
本发明的碳纤维连续镀铜工艺是对碳纤维束在焦磷酸盐电镀液中通过四对电极连续镀铜,其过程为对碳纤维束清洗-表面活化处理-电镀-清洗,所用碳纤维束一般为2~4束,每束为3000根,2~4束碳纤维同时在同台机组上进行连续镀。此工艺过程简单,易控,所得到的铜-碳纤维复合材料性能优良、稳定、可靠,适用范围广,成品率近99%。
以下将结合附图详述本发明的实施例。

图1也为电镀工艺流程图。图中1为碳纤维束,它在电镀液中为阴极,2为传动滚轮,3为清洗液,4为活化液,5为电镀液,6为清洗液,7为阳极,8为阳极,9为阳极,镀铜的工艺过程为:
a.将不上胶的碳纤维束1由电动机带动的传动滚轮2传送,经蒸馏水清洗液3清洗;b.将清洗过的碳纤维束1送入活化液4,在室温下进行活化处理。活化液4为1~15%的氢氧化钠水溶液;c.将活化处理过的碳纤维束1送入电镀液5中进行镀铜。电镀液5为焦磷酸盐溶液,其成分和浓度为:焦磷酸铜50~60克/升,焦磷酸钾为200~300克/升,柠檬酸铵为20~30克/升。电镀过程中碳纤维束1要经过四对电极进行连续镀铜,即阳极7与碳纤维束1组成第一对电极,阳极8与碳纤维束1组成第二、第三对电极,阳极9与碳纤维束组成第四对电极,每对电极的电流需要分别控制。图1中由左至右,第一对电极阴极(即碳纤维束1)的电流密度为0.1安/分米2,第二、第三对电极共用一只电表,其阴极电流密度皆为0.5安/分米2,第四对电极阴极的电流密度为0.8安/分米2。阳极和阴极的面积之比为1∶1~2∶1。电镀液的温度为38~40℃pH值为7~8,焦磷酸根(P2O7-与铜离子浓度之比为7∶1,碳纤维束的传送速度为180毫米/分钟,一般可在100~200毫米/分钟范围内选择;d.经过电镀工序后的铜-碳纤维复合材料即杨复合原丝,再经蒸馏水清洗液6清洗;e将此铜-碳纤维复合原丝在真空中烘干,烘干温度为100~120℃左右。至此,碳纤维连续镀铜工艺结束。每根碳纤维上都能均匀地镀上1微米厚的镀层。
将清洗、烘干后的铜-碳纤维复合原丝用装有芯棒的绕线机制成涡卷状,热压成片,即可得到无芯涡卷状铜-碳纤维复合材料电力半导体器件的支撑电极成品。

Claims (4)

1、一种碳纤维连续镀铜的方法,其特征是碳纤维束经表面活化处理后,在焦磷酸盐电镀液中通过四对电极连续镀铜;其四对电极是,阳极7与碳纤维束组成第一对电极,阳极8与碳纤维束组成第二、三对电极,阳极9与碳纤维束组成第四对电极。
2、按权利要求1所述的碳纤维连续镀铜的方法,其特征是活化处理过程中所用的活化液为1~15%的氢氧化钠水溶液,活化液温度是室温。
3、按权利要求1所述的碳纤维连续镀铜的方法,其特征是所用的焦磷酸盐电镀液的成分和浓度为:焦磷酸铜50~60克/升,焦磷酸钾为200~300克/升,柠檬酸铵为20~30克/升,电镀液中磷酸根(P2O7-与铜离子的浓度之比为7∶1,pH值为7~8,温度为38~40℃,阳极和阴极的面积之比为1∶1~2∶1,碳纤维束的传送速度为180毫米/分。
4、按权利要求1所述的碳纤维连续镀铜的方法,其特征是电镀过程中每对电极的电流分别控制,第一对电极阴极电流密度为0.1安/分米2,第二和第三对电极共用一只电表,其阴极电流密度皆为0.5安/分米2,第四对电极阴极电流密度为0.8安/分米2
