在旋转刀具比如铰刀中,经常需要使用具有大的直径和/或长度的刀具。通常,这种刀具有由铸铁或其它重的材料制造的主体。传统的刀具对于某些机床主轴来说太重。虽然用相对轻的材料制造该刀具是可能的,例如用铝来制造,然而铝的加工能是困难的。

具体实施方式
刀具21示出在图1中并且特别地适用于铰刀,但该基本构思能够应用于其它类型的旋转刀具,例如钻头、镗孔刀、铣刀等等。刀具21包括多个伸长形构件23和用于相对于刀具的旋转轴线A保持伸长形构件的支撑件25。伸长形构件23典型地是钢杆或碳纤维杆,伸长形构件23的截面通常是圆形,并且伸长形构件具有足够的刚度以避免产生由于伸长形构件的弯曲而使刀具扭转变形的问题。伸长形构件的物理特性能够取决于刀具所用于的应用。伸长形构件的数量也能够很大程度上依赖于刀具的应用而改变。
支撑件25包括连接该多个伸长形构件23的第一端29的第一盘27和连接该多个伸长形构件的第二端33的第二盘31。虽然该多个伸长形构件23的第一端29的顶端35能够延伸超过第一盘27的外表面,并且该多个伸长形构件23的第二端33的顶端37能够延伸超过第二盘31的外表面,但通常伸长形构件的第一端和第二端的顶端相对于该外表面凹入或与该外表面齐平。
第二盘31能够包括连接构件,例如柄,用于连接到例如机器的卡盘(未示出),以用来旋转和轴向移动刀具。在图2中,第二盘31由螺栓连接到可连接到卡盘的分离的连接构件38。
支撑件25包括一个或多个在第一盘27和第二盘31之间的中间盘39。每个中间盘39包括开口41,该多个伸长形构件23延伸通过开口41。第一盘27和第二盘31通常也分别包括开口43和45,其中开口43从第一盘的第一侧47延伸到第一盘的第二侧51,开口45从第二盘的第一侧49延伸到第二盘的第二侧53的,每个伸长形构件23延伸通过所述开口中的相应一个开口。
每个盘27、31和39可以有一个或多个径向开口55,通常为多个径向开口55。每个径向开口55开口到各自的盘27、31和39的径向边缘,并且通常与开口41、43或45对应。导向垫57从每个径向开口55向外延伸超过盘27、31或39的周面,以便在待被铰削的孔中导引刀具。通常,导向垫57设置成仅仅从第一盘27及靠近第一盘的某些中间盘39和伸长形构件23的在第一盘附近的部分延伸出,因为这些盘和伸长形构件的这些部分最可能布置在所铰削的孔中。典型地,导向垫57安装在伸长形构件23上,然而,导向垫能够直接安装到盘27、31或39。导向垫57能够在伸长形构件内的凹部58中被安装到伸长形构件23上并被铜焊于伸长形构件。
切屑刃59从伸长形构件23中的至少一个伸长形构件延伸。切屑刃也能够或者替代地从支撑件25延伸。典型地,切屑刃59形成在可移除切削刀片61上,其中所述切削刀片61在形成于伸长形构件中的凹处中被安装在所述至少一个伸长形构件23中。切屑刃59相对于伸长形构件23的位置是可调的,比如通过使用安装系统将刀片61安装于伸长形构件,所述安装系统比如是来自瑞典法格斯塔山高刀具公司(Seco Tools AB,Fagersta,Sweden)的BIFIX或PRECIFIX系统。
通常,如例如在图1和图3中所观察到的,切屑刃59从伸长形构件23中的至少一个的顶端35轴向延伸。第一盘27在所述切削刃59的在刀具的旋转方向上的前方具有位于所述盘中的凹部65。凹部65形成排屑槽,切屑形成在凹部65中并且经凹部65从刀具21的前面流动离开到第一盘27的后面。通常切屑刃59也从伸长形构件23中至少一个的一侧67径向延伸。从伸长形构件23的顶端35延伸的切屑刃59和从伸长形构件的所述侧67延伸的切屑刃可以形成于同一个切削刀片61上并且从同一个伸长形构件延伸,然而,通常地,将是不同伸长形构件上的不同切屑刃从顶端和所述侧延伸。伸长形构件23的顶端35处的切屑刃59也可以从伸长形构件的所述侧延伸,然而,远离顶端的切屑刃只可以从伸长形构件的所述侧延伸。
伸长形构件23中的至少一个包括内部通道69。内部通道69能够用于朝刀具21的前端输送冷却流体和/或润滑流体。沟槽71能够从内部通道69延伸到伸长形构件23的接近切屑刃59的外部,并且以这种方式,便于冷却和/或润滑切屑刃和工件。另一个沟槽73能够从内部通道69延伸到所述至少一个伸长形构件的接近导向垫57的外部,并且以这种方式,便于冷却和/或润滑导向垫和导向垫所接触的工件。
伸长形构件23和支撑件25通常具有某一形式的布置,用于确保伸长形构件相对于支撑件的适当的定向。例如,伸长形构件23和盘27、31、39具有用来接收键的凹槽,该键确保伸长形构件相对于盘的合适的定向。图4示出了伸长形构件23并且为了说明的目的示出了第一盘27,伸长形构件23和第一盘27分别带有键槽75和77,每一个键槽接收键79的一部分。用于使伸长形构件23相对于支撑件25合适的定向的其它布置也能够提供,例如使伸长形构件具有与所述盘中的非圆形形状的开口配合的非圆形外形。
第一盘27能够设有中心开口或凹部区域81。所述中心开口或凹部区域能够便于碎屑从刀具21的前端的移走。此外,通过伸长形构件23上的内部通道69流到刀具21的前部的冷却流体和/或润滑流体能通过在凹部区域81内的开口区域81或开口83移走。

Claims (15)
1.一种旋转刀具(21),其特征在于,所述刀具包括:

2.如权利要求1所述的旋转刀具(21),其中所述支撑件(25)包括:第一盘(27),所述多个伸长形构件(23)的第一端(29)与所述第一盘(27)附接;和第二盘(31),所述多个伸长形构件(23)的第二端(33)与所述第二盘(34)附接。
3.如权利要求2所述的旋转刀具(21),其中所述支撑件(25)包括至少一个在所述第一盘(27)和所述第二盘(31)之间的中间盘(39),所述至少一个中间盘(39)包括开口(41),所述多个伸长形构件(23)延伸穿过所述开口(41)。
