Description

技术领域
本发明总体上涉及用于稳固地支撑运动敏感的图像采集装置的稳定支架和方法,这种图像采集装置比如是独立的图像采集装置及其他多用途装置,其中,独立的图像采集装置例如是超轻型摄像机、网络摄像机、便携式摄像机(camcorder),多用途装置例如是移动电话、个人数字助理、媒体播放器、游戏控制器等集成有图像采集功能的装置,更特别地,本发明涉及在图像采集过程中将所有这些装置与不希望的运动隔离开。
背景技术
静止图像摄像机和运动图像(视频)摄像机在使用过程中的某些时候由操作人员手持,由于人类天生的不稳定性而易于产生模糊的静态图像和动态图像。近年来,已经开发出了超轻型摄像机,比如重量小于一磅的网络摄像机,并且目前的超轻型摄像机非常紧凑并且轻,使得他们已被集成到其他多用途装置中,比如移动电话、个人数字助理、媒体播放器、游戏控制器等手持装置。除了手持摄像机传统的不稳定性之外,这些手持装置还由业余摄影爱好者操作,进一步导致了不稳定的且通常无法接受的静止图像和视频图像,尤其是在走动操作过程中。

目前保持/安装这种手持装置的方法主要适合于(geartoward)非图像采集场合。例如,一些手持装置配置有全球定位系统,并且被通过可调整机构安装到车辆或其他形式的输送装置中/上,所述可调整机构允许手持装置沿着一个或者多个轴线相对于安装平台而被期望地定位,以便于用户操作或者朝向用户定向。这些可调整机构典型地包括可定位的三脚架、半刚性可弯曲鹅颈架(gooseneck mount)、球端旋转架、或其他类型的被连接在手持装置和安装平台之间的多关节(multi-jointed)机构或可调整机构。
由于期望这些可调整机构应用于非图像采集场合,他们不能很好地适用于图像采集应用。例如,已知的可调整机构缺乏刚性地固定手持装置并且将手持装置的像平面固定地定向成垂直于安装平台的能力。如果像平面不垂直于安装平台,则需要平衡支撑以离轴定向(off-axis orientation)的方式操作来获得平直的(straight)或者水平的(level)图像。关于三脚架,相对于待获得的图像的定向,其水平指示器(level indicator)将不够精确。由于多部件结构的柔性、可移动特性,现有的多关节机构或可调整机构易于移动或振动。装置的定向的这种潜在振动或移动不利于稳定的图像采集,尤其在装置运动时或者装置受到比如风等的外力的作用时。
因此,已知的可调整机构不能有效地和令人满意地消除操作已经开发出的越来越轻的、数字式的、静止和运动摄像机时遇到的不稳定性问题,因此希望提供特别良好地适合于超轻型、手持式、数字式装置,特别是消费者操作的视频摄像机等装置的特殊要求的稳定支架,这些装置例如被集成到移动电话、个人数字助理、媒体播放器、游戏控制器等集成了图像采集能力的手持装置中。
发明内容
发明要解决的问题
本发明的一个方面涉及用于将运动敏感的图像采集装置稳固地并且稳定地支撑在支撑面上的稳定支架。所述装置可操作以沿着与像平面垂直的光轴采集整个视场的图像。所述装置可以是独立的图像采集装置,比如超轻型摄像机、网络摄像机、便携式摄像机等,或者可以是多用途装置,比如移动电话、个人数字助理、媒体播放器、游戏控制器等集成了图像采集功能的装置。支撑面可以是三脚架、手持平衡结构、或者桌子或工作台面(countertop)。
用于解决问题的方案
一种支架,其包括:用于在图像采集过程中保持装置的保持器;以及与保持器一体的固定底座。底座的底面垂直于像平面。在图像采集过程中,底座可操作以稳固地将保持器和装置以支撑定向定位在支撑面上。相对于支撑面刚性地固定手持装置的定向或像平面的能力避免了采集到模糊的图像。
发明的效果
因此,手持装置被刚性地支撑,使得他们采集的图像稳定,并且在获得图像时没有不期望的移动或振动。易于获得的工业器械能够被用于辅助稳定手持装置和/或控制手持装置。

具体实施方式
参照附图,附图标记10总地标识稳定支架,该稳定支架10用于将运动敏感的图像采集装置12稳固地并且稳定地支撑在支撑面14上(见图4至图7)。装置12可操作以沿着垂直于像平面(image plane)的光轴采集整个视场的图像。装置12可以是独立的图像采集装置,例如超轻型摄像机、网络摄像机、便携式摄像机等,或者可以是多用途装置,比如移动电话、个人数字助理、媒体播放器、游戏控制器等集成了图像采集功能的装置。支撑面14可以是三脚架(图5)、手持平衡结构(图7)、或者桌子或工作台面(图4)。
如图1和图2所示,装置12是由Apple公司推向市场的多媒体智能电话iPhone。这种装置12具有内置的固态成像器,所述成像器具有布置在像平面中的传感器(cell)或光传感器的二维阵列。光传感器对应于成像器的视场中的成像元素或像素。成像器可以是电荷耦合器件(CCD)或互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)器件,成像器与相关联的带通光谱滤波器和电路一起用于产生与整个视场的像素信息的二维阵列对应的电信号。装置12还具有:平行于像平面的取景显示器20;以及孔22(见图2),其中光穿过该孔而到达成像器。
支架10包括:用于在图像采集过程中保持装置12的保持器16;以及与保持器16一体的固定底座18。底座18具有底面,所述底面垂直于所述像平面。在图像采集过程中,底座18可操作以稳固地将保持器16和装置12以支撑定向定位在支撑面14上。相对于支撑面14刚性地固定手持装置的定向或像平面的能力避免了采集到模糊的图像。
有利的是,保持器16具有用于以可分离的方式抓握装置12的外周的多个臂24(图中为4个)。臂24抓握装置12的上部、下部、以及相对的侧边缘,并且将装置12夹持在适当的位置。优选地,臂12在他们的端部处弯曲并且由比如合成塑料或金属等弹性材料构成,弹性材料可以变形(yield)以使装置12能够被卡合(snap-fitted)到保持器16。臂24与孔22隔开,并且不阻挡或者遮断(obstruct)视场或与装置12的任何功能部干涉,这些功能部例如是按钮、连接接口、电池替换部。保持器16可以被定制成用以保持某个型号的装置12,或者可以适于保持多种不同的装置12。所定制的支架10可以与特定型号的装置12分开销售或者一起销售。保持器16可以设置有配重(integral weight)以便平衡。
底座18有利地设置有具有内螺纹通道的插孔26,用于在图像采集期间与从支撑面14沿支撑定向延伸出的外螺纹螺柱(stud)28(见图6)螺纹接合。螺柱28优选地是工业标准1/4inch-20螺纹安装螺柱,以使支架10能够易于安装到工业标准的摄像机和视频设备安装平台上,比如三脚架30(见图5)和/或平衡支撑结构32(见图7)。
另外,底座18有利地设置有防转动分度孔(index hole)34,用于在图像采集过程中接收从支撑面14沿支撑定向延伸出的分度销(index pin)36(见图6)。这种特征确保了相对于摄像机安装器材30、32沿正确的定向以不转动的方式安装并且保持手持装置12。防止了手持装置12在器材30、32的突然移动或重新定位过程中发生不希望的转动或移动。保持器16和底座18被示出为、但不必须是关于中心平面成镜面对称,并且插孔26和分度孔34优选地位于中心平面中。插孔26和分度孔34以与螺柱28和分度销36的相互配置匹配的预定关系相互配置。保持器16也可以被设计成使得其相对于底座18离轴(off axis)以适应特殊的安装要求,或者使装置12的光学中心线与支架10的中心线一致。
支架10以较小的质量、紧凑的安装轮廓支撑装置12。如果没有这种能力,则当手持装置12与现有的摄像机安装器材结合使用时,手持装置12的安装会比较困难,现有的摄像机安装器材比如是环境摄像机外壳(enclosure)、SLR型摄像机闪光灯架等。轮廓较高的高支架也可能在平衡支撑结构上不能适当地平衡。

Claims (9)

1.一种用于稳固地支撑运动敏感的图像采集装置的稳定支架,所述图像采集装置能够被操作以沿着垂直于像平面的光轴采集整个视场的图像,所述支架包括:
手持平衡结构上的支撑面;
保持器,其具有用于在图像采集过程中以可分离的方式抓握所述图像采集装置的外周的多个臂;
底座,其与所述保持器一体并且具有底面,所述底座在所述底座被所述支撑面以支撑定向支撑时位于垂直于所述像平面的底座平面,在图像采集过程中,所述底座能够被操作以稳固地将所述保持器和所述图像采集装置以所述支撑定向定位于所述支撑面;
其中所述底座具有带有内螺纹通道的插孔,用于在图像采集过程中与从所述支撑面沿所述支撑定向远离所述支撑面地延伸的外螺纹螺柱螺纹接合;
其中所述底座具有分度孔,用于在图像采集过程中接收从所述支撑面沿所述支撑定向远离所述支撑面地延伸的分度销;
其中所述插孔和所述分度孔以预定的相互关系配置,以防止所述图像采集装置相对于所述支撑面的不希望的转动。
2.根据权利要求1所述的稳定支架,其特征在于,所述臂由弹性材料构成。
3.根据权利要求1所述的稳定支架,其特征在于,所述臂与所述视场分离开并且不阻挡所述视场。
4.根据权利要求2所述的稳定支架,其特征在于,所述臂与所述视场分离开并且不阻挡所述视场。
5.根据权利要求1所述的稳定支架,其特征在于,所述保持器被定制成保持某一型号的图像采集装置。
6.根据权利要求1至4中的任一项所述的稳定支架,其特征在于,所述保持器适于保持多种图像采集装置。
7.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的稳定支架,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置是移动电话。
8.根据权利要求6所述的稳定支架,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置是移动电话。
9.一种用于稳固地支撑运动敏感的图像采集装置的方法,用于将运动敏感的图像采集装置稳固地支撑在手持平衡结构的支撑面上,所述方法包括以下步骤:
利用所述图像采集装置沿着垂直于像平面的光轴采集整个视场的图像;
在图像采集过程中用保持器的多个臂以可分离的方式抓握所述图像采集装置的外周;
通过与所述保持器一体地形成底座、将所述底座支撑于所述支撑面、并且将所述底座的底面构造为垂直于所述像平面,而在图像采集过程中以所述支撑定向将所述保持器和所述图像采集装置稳固地定位于所述支撑面;
为所述底座设置带有内螺纹通道的插孔,用于在图像采集过程中与从所述支撑面沿所述支撑定向远离所述支撑面地延伸的外螺纹螺柱螺纹接合;
为所述底座设置分度孔,用于在图像采集过程中接收从所述支撑面沿所述支撑定向远离所述支撑面地延伸的分度销;
以预定的关系配置所述插孔和所述分度孔,以防止所述图像采集装置相对于所述支撑面的不希望的转动。
