Abstract

一种铅酸液流电池的负极板,涉及电池生产技术领域,本发明在以碳粉与聚乙烯混合压制形成的基板外表面复合泡沫镍层。本发明的基板由碳粉与高密度的聚乙烯混合压制,相当于传统铅酸蓄电池的板栅,负极板是在基板上复合泡沫镍层,形成负极反应活性层,与适当的正极板及电解液可组成一种铅酸液流电池。铅酸液流电池是全钒液流电池的发展和延伸,其主要特点是:仅一种单独的电解液(含二价铅离子的电液),它是进行氧化还原反应的活物质,只要一个储液罐,一个泵就可进行工作;不需要隔膜;只要求电液中有大量可溶性铅,也就是一个简单的溶解过程,易懂、易掌控。

本发明涉及电池生产技术领域。
背景技术
电化学液流电池(Electrochemical flow cell)通常称为氧化还原液流电池(Redox flow cell)是一种大型储能装置。最早由查内尔(Thaller)提出氧化还原液流电池概念。上世纪七十年代美国最先开发Fe3+/Fe2+及全钒(V5+/V4+、V2+/V3+)液流电池,目前在美、日、澳等国有市售产品,当前中国没有一家企业跨入该电池行业,至今尚未涉足该储能装置的研发领域。
液流电池的活性物质是液态,即作为电极反应活物质,又兼任电解液作电极在工作中不发生结构变化,理论上可以无限期使用,正负极活物质通过选择性透过膜隔开,氧化还原反应分别在隔膜两边进行,单电池由双极板(正极与负极)及隔膜组成,可以串联多个单电池组成大的不同型号(规格)的电堆,实现大规模储能。电池电压由串联单电池的数量与活性物质类别所决定。电池容量由储液罐内活物质多少决定,可以100%深放电而对电池基本无损害,电池可以“即时充电”(零时间)即更换活物质的储液罐或开始流动即可。这类电池寿命可达10至20年,具有可靠性高、制造成本、运行及维护成本都较低、无噪音、无污染、建设周期短等特点和优点。变换一个视角来看,可以把液流电池当成一个循环充放电“燃料电池”。它不仅是一个消耗化学能转为电能的装置,而且还是一个比“燃料电池”有更大发展空间的电能供给装置。
现行的氧化还原液流电池存在的缺陷是:
1、需要离子选择性透过的隔膜,而铅酸液流电池是不需要隔膜;
2、需要供给正、负极活物质反应的泵要两个(正、负极各一个),而铅酸液流电池只要一个泵;
3、需要两个储液罐分别储存正、负极所需的活物质,而铅酸液流电池则只要一个储液罐,都是正负极公用的二价铅离子。
发明内容
本发明目的在于设计一种能克服现行氧化还原液流电池缺陷的铅酸液流电池的负极板。
本发明在以碳粉与聚乙烯混合压制形成的基板外表面复合泡沫镍层。
本发明的基板由碳粉与高密度的聚乙烯混合压制,相当于传统铅酸蓄电池的板栅,负极板是在基板上复合泡沫镍层,形成负极反应活性层,与适当的正极板及电解液可组成一种铅酸液流电池。铅酸液流电池是全钒液流电池的发展和延伸,其主要特点是:仅一种单独的电解液(含二价铅离子的电液),它是进行氧化还原反应的活物质,只要一个储液罐,一个泵就可进行工作;不需要隔膜;只要求电液中有大量可溶性铅,也就是一个简单的溶解过程,易懂、易掌控。
