Abstract

技术领域
本发明的构思涉及用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路,更特别地,涉及用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路,其中,EMI滤波单元的放电电阻器和电容器设置在继电单元之后,从而降低了放电电阻器的功耗。
背景技术
通常,等离子体显示面板是使用放电现象中的潘宁气体的平板显示器。这种等离子体显示面板利用通过放电所产生的发光,该放电是通过使用作为基气体(base gas)的相对高压的氖(Ne)和氦(He)在涂覆有电介质的窄电极之间产生的。
开关电源(switching mode power supply,SMPS)电路用于驱动等离子体显示面板。开关电源电路是将外部电压转换为适用于等离子体显示面板的电压的模块型电源装置。开关电源电路利用半导体开关特性来控制开/关操作以及减少与比工频(commercialfrequency)高的高频有关的影响。具体地,为了保护开关元件并且防止在初始电源上的异常放电,用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路需要根据特定顺序向每个元件供电。
与已经成为显示装置主流的阴极射线管(CRT)相比较,等离子体显示面板更轻巧和更明亮,并且可以实现高清晰度和大屏幕。因此,当前的平板显示器领域可以划分为等离子体显示面板和液晶显示器(LCD)。
然而,近年来,为了在全球范围内节约能源,已经付出了许多努力以降低待机功耗。因此,需要一种可以在开关电源电路中降低待机功耗的技术。
发明内容
本发明构思的优点在于提供了一种用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路,其中,EMI滤波单元的放电电阻器和电容器被设置在继电单元之后,从而降低了放电电阻器的功耗。
本发明总体构思的其他方面和优点将部分地在随后的描述中阐述,并且部分地从描述中显而易见,或者可以通过实践本发明总体构思来获知。
根据本发明构思的一方面,提供了一种用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路,包括:EMI滤波单元;PFC单元;输出单元;和待机单元,其中,EMI滤波单元包括:第一线路滤波器(line filter),连接至工频线路输入电源;第一电容器和放电电阻器,连接至第一线路滤波器;第二线路滤波器,连接至第一电容器和放电电阻器;第二电容器,连接至第二线路滤波器;以及继电单元,设置在第一线路滤波器与第一电容器和放电电阻器之间,待机单元连接至第一线路滤波器和继电单元的接触点。
继电单元可以包括:第一开关,一端连接至第一线路滤波器;第二开关,一端连接至第一开关的另一端,另一端连接至第一电容器和放电电阻器;以及负温度系数(NTC)电阻器,与第一开关并联连接。
第一开关和第二开关可以为晶体管。
继电单元的第一开关和第二开关可以在待机模式中变成打开状态,从而降低EMI滤波单元的放电单元的功耗。
第一线路滤波器和第二线路滤波器可以是共模滤波器(common mode filter)。
第一线路滤波器可以是共模滤波器,而第二线路滤波器可以是正常型滤波器(normal mode filter)。
第一线路滤波器可以是正常型滤波器,而第二线路滤波器可以是共模滤波器。
第一线路滤波器和第二线路滤波器可以是正常型滤波器。

图1是根据本发明构思的实施例的用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路的框图。
参照图1,根据本发明构思的实施例的用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路可以包括:EMI滤波单元11、功率因数校正(PFC)单元12、输出单元13、和待机单元14。
EMI滤波单元11可以连接至工频线路输入电源(commercialline input power)。EMI滤波单元11可以直接连接至工频线路输入端口以从工频线路输入电源接收90~270Vrms的电压,并且抑制外部高频噪声和内部高频噪声。
PFC单元12连接至EMI滤波单元11,并且通过设定或提高经过EMI滤波单元11的90~270Vrms的工频线路输入电源来输出约370~400VDC的DC电压以避免谐波脉动率(harmonics regulation)。然后,PFC单元12通过多个DC/DC变换器来提供驱动等离子体显示面板所必需的各种电压。
另外,执行功率因数校正的PFC单元12设置在EMI滤波单元11之后,并且主要采用表现优良PFC性能的升压拓扑。
输出单元13可以包括提供持续驱动电压VS和寻址电压(address voltage)VA(均为高电压)的多个DC/DC变换器以及提供多个低电压VM的多个DC/DC变换器。
此外,持续驱动电压VS的输出用作持续驱动电压VS,并且同时输入到扫描电压VSCAN、复位电压VSET、以及VE。从多个DC/DC变换器输出的电压被输入到PDP驱动板以驱动等离子体显示面板。
同时,“MULTI”表示多个低电压装置,其被提供有DC/DC变换器提供的低电压VM
待机单元14可以连接至EMI滤波单元11,以在待机模式中输出待机电压。
图2是在根据本发明构思的实施例的用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路中的EMI滤波单元11的详细电路图。
参照图2,EMI滤波单元11可以包括:第一线路滤波器111、第一电容器C1、放电电阻器、第二线路滤波器113、和第二电容器C2。
第一线路滤波器111连接至工频线路输入电源,并且第一电容器C1和放电电阻器连接至第一线路滤波器111。此外,第一电容器C1和放电电阻器接着连接至第二线路滤波器113和第二电容器C2。
在这种情况下,第一线路滤波器111和第二线路滤波器113可以是共模滤波器或正常型滤波器。即,第一线路滤波器111和第二线路滤波器113两者都可以是共模滤波器;第一线路滤波器111可以是共模滤波,而第二线路滤波器113可以是正常型滤波器;第一线路滤波器111可以是正常型滤波,而第二线路滤波器113可以是共模滤波器;或者,第一线路滤波器111和第二线路滤波器113两者都可以是正常型滤波器;
由于在安全规程下的放电测试,开关电源电路的EMI滤波器必须使用放电电阻器。然而,放电电阻器的使用增加了待机功耗。
因此,为了抑止在待机模式中的放电电阻器的功耗,继电单元112可以被设置在第一线路滤波器111与第一电容器C1和放电电阻器之间。此外,第一线路滤波器111和继电单元112的接触点可以连接至待机单元14。
同时,继电单元112可以包括:第一开关S1,一端连接至第一线路滤波器111;第二开关S2,一端连接至第一开关S1的另一端,另一端连接至第一电容器C1和放电电阻器;以及负温度系数(NTC)电阻器,与第一开关S1并联连接。
第一开关S1和第二开关S2可以为晶体管。
根据继电单元112的操作,第二开关S2变成闭合状态并且第一开关S1变成打开状态,以使工频线路输入电源通过NTC电阻器施加给第一电容器C1和放电电阻器。在这种情况下,NTC电阻器用于防止过电流流入PFC单元12。此后,第一开关S1变成闭合状态。
在相关技术中,继电单元112设置在EMI滤波单元之后,使得放电电阻器即使在待机模式中也消耗功率。在根据本发明构思的实施例的用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路中,EMI滤波单元11的第一电容器C1和放电电阻器设置在继电单元112之后。因此,继电单元112的第一开关S1和第二开关S2在待机模式中变成打开状态,从而降低了放电电阻器的功耗。
即,由于待机单元14连接在第一线路滤波器111和继电单元112之间,设置有放电电阻器的通路在待机模式中变成打开状态,从而降低了放电电阻器的功耗。
因此,与相关技术相比,根据本发明构思的实施例的用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路可以更多地降低待机功耗。
尽管已经示出并描述了本发明总体构思的一些实施例,但是本领域的技术人员应该理解,在不背离本发明总体构思的原理和精神的情况下,可以对这些实施例进行变化,总的发明构思的范围由所附权利要求和其等同物限定。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于等离子体显示面板的开关电源电路,包括:
EMI滤波单元;
PFC单元;
输出单元;以及
待机单元,
其中,所述EMI滤波单元包括:
第一线路滤波器,连接至工频线路输入电源;
第一电容器和放电电阻器,连接至所述第一线路滤波器;
第二线路滤波器,连接至所述第一电容器和放电电阻器;
第二电容器,连接至所述第二线路滤波器;以及继电单元,设置在所述第一线路滤波器与所述第一电容器和放电电阻器之间,所述待机单元连接至所述第一线路滤波器和所述继电单元的接触点。
2.根据权利要求1所述的开关电源电路,
其中,所述继电单元包括:
第一开关,一端连接至所述第一线路滤波器;
第二开关,一端连接至所述第一开关的另一端,另一端连接至所述第一电容器和放电电阻器;以及
负温度系数(NTC)电阻器,与所述第一开关并联连接。
3.根据权利要求2所述的开关电源电路,
其中,所述第一开关和所述第二开关为晶体管。
4.根据权利要求2所述的开关电源电路,
其中,所述继电单元的所述第一开关和所述第二开关在待机模式时变成打开状态,从而降低所述EMI滤波单元的放电单元的功耗。
5.根据权利要求1所述的开关电源电路,
其中,所述第一线路滤波器和所述第二线路滤波器为共模滤波器。
6.根据权利要求1所述的开关电源电路,
其中,所述第一线路滤波器为共模滤波器,而所述第二线路滤波器为正常型滤波器。
7.根据权利要求1所述的开关电源电路,
其中,所述第一线路滤波器为正常型滤波器,而所述第二线路滤波器为共模滤波器。
8.根据权利要求1所述的开关电源电路,
其中,所述第一线路滤波器和所述第二线路滤波器为正常型滤波器。
