本申请是国际申请日为2005年1月20日、中国申请号为200580003120.6、发明名称为“具有改进接收性能的数字广播发射/接收系统及其信号处理方法”的发明专利申请的分案申请。 
技术领域
本发明涉及一种数字广播发射/接收系统及其信号处理方法,具体地说,涉及一种能够通过将已知序列插入VSB(残留边带)数据流中并利用所插入的已知序列发射该数据流从而改进该系统接收性能的数字广播发射/接收系统及其信号处理方法。 
背景技术
属于美国类型数字陆地广播系统的ATSC(先进电视系统委员会)VSB系统是一种信号载波型广播系统,其使用以312段(segment)为单位的场同步信号。 
图1的框图示出了作为通用美国类型数字陆地广播系统的ATSC DTV标准的发射机/接收机的结构。 
图1所示的数字广播发射机包括:随机函数发生器(randomizer)110,用于随机化MPEG-2(运动图像专家组)转送数据流(TS);RS(Reed Solomon)编码器120,用于将RS奇偶字节加到所述转送流上以便校正由于在转送处理中信道特性而发生的位误差;交织器130,用于根据规定的模式交织经RS编码的数据;和格编码器140,用于通过以2/3的速率执行交织的数据的格解码而将交织的数据映射到8级符号上。所述数字广播发射机执行MPEG-2转送流的误差校正编码。 
所述数字广播发射机还包括:多路复用器150,用于将段同步信号和场同步信号插入经过误差校正编码的数据中;调制器/RF转换器160,用于将导频音插入所述数据符号中,通过将规定的DC值插入所述数据符号中,该数据符号还被插入段同步信号和场同步信号,调制器/RF转换器160通过对所 述数据符号执行脉冲整形执行所述数据符号的VSB调制,并将经过调制的数据符号向上转换成RF信道频带信号,以便发射该RF信道频带信号。

因此,图1所示的数字广播接收机将所述RF信号下转换成基带信号,解调和均衡转换后的信号,然后,信道解码经解调的信号以便恢复成原始信号。 
图2示出了在美国类型数字广播(8VSB)系统中使用并被插入段同步信号和场同步信号的VSB数据帧。 
如图2所示,一个帧由两个场组成,一个场由作为第一段的一个场同步段和312个数据段组成。另外,VSB数据帧中的一个段对应于一个MPEG-2分组,并由4个符号的段同步信号和828个数据符号组成。 
在图2中,所述段同步信号和场同步信号被用于所述数字广播接收机的同步和均衡。即,场同步信号和段同步信号是指在数字广播发射机和接收机之间已知的数据,当在接收机方执行均衡时,其被用做参考信号。 
如图1所示,美国类型的数字地面广播系统的VSB系统是一种单载波系统,所以具有在具有多普勒效应的多径衰落环境中很弱的缺点。因此,接收机的性能受到用于消除所述多径的均衡器的极大影响。 
但是,根据图2所示的现有的传送帧,由于作为均衡器参考信号的场同步信号每313个段出现一次,所以,其频率相对于一帧信号是相当低的,这使得均衡的性能降低。 
特别是,现有技术的均衡器很难如上所述使用少量数据估计所述信道和通过消除所述多径均衡所接收的信号。因此,传统数字广播接收机的缺点是在差的信道环境、特别是在多普勒面向信道环境中的接收性能降低。 
发明内容
本发明就是为了解决上述缺点和与传统配置相关的其它问题而开发的。 
因此,本发明提供一种通过在发射机方产生和发射具有被加有已知数据的传送信号并在接收机方检测该传送信号来改进所述系统的接收性能的数字广播发射/接收系统及其信号处理方法。 
本发明附加的方面和优点部分地将从下面的描述中看到,部分地将从下面的描述中变得明显,和部分地将从本发明的实践中学习到。 
通过提供下述的数字广播接收机可以基本实现本发明的前述和其它方面,所述数字广播发射机包括:随机函数发生器,用于随机化具有在规定位置处插入空字节的输入数据流;多路复用器,用于输出通过将规定的已知数据插入被随机化数据流的空字节位置处所形成的数据流;编码器,用于编码从所述多路复用器输出的所述数据流;和调制器/RF转换器,用于调制所述编码数据、RF转换经过调制的数据和发射经过RF转换的数据。

具体实施方式
下面将参照附图说明本发明的某些实施例。 
在下面的说明中,相同的附图参考数字用于相同的元件,即使是在不同的附图中。在说明书中没有诸如结构和元件的详细说明但提供了一些以帮助 对本发明的进一步理解。因此,很明显,可以在没有这些说明的情况下执行本发明。另外,由于不必要的公知功能和结构的描述将使本发明变得不明显,所以,不再详细描述这些公知的功能和结构。 
图3的框图示出了根据本发明实施例的数字广播发射/接收系统的结构。 
参看图3,所述数字广播发射机包括数据发生器305、随机函数发生器310、第一多路复用器(multiplexer)315、RS编码器320、交织器330、格编码器340、第二多路复用器350和调制器/RF转换器360。 
随机函数发生器310随机化输入MPEG-2传送数据,以便提高所分配信道空间的效用。输入给随机函数发生器310的数据具有通过将具有规定字节长度但不包括典型数据的空字节插入所述输入传送数据流数据的规定位置中所形成的数据格式,这将在下面详细说明。 
数据发生器305产生在发射机方和接收机方之间预先安排的数据(此后称之为‘已知数据’)。该已知数据指代具有规定模式的特殊序列,并被插入添加随机化数据的空字节的位置中。可以从普通数据中很容易地检测到所述已知数据,因此,其被用于接收机方的同步和均衡。 
第一多路复用器315产生数据流,该数据流具有由数据发生器305产生并插入已经被插入有所述空字节的数据流的位置中以取代由随机函数发生器310随机化的所述数据的空字节的已知数据。 
RS编码器320将规定字节的奇偶校验位加到从第一多路复用器320输出的数据上,以便校正由于信道所发生的误差。 
交织器330根据规定的模式对已经被加了从RS编码器320输出的奇偶校验位的数据执行交织。 
格编码器340将从交织器330输出的数据转换成数据符号,并经过格编码以2/3的速率执行所述数据的8级符号映射。 
第二多路复用器350以段为单位将段同步信号插入已经由格编码器340转换成符号的数据中,并以场为单位将场同步信号插入所述数据中。另外,第二多路复用器350通过将规定的DC值加到规定电平(specified level)的数据信号上而将导频信号插入频谱低频带的边缘部分。 
调制器/RF转换器360通过执行所述信号的脉冲整形和利用中频(IF)载波调制所述信号对已经插入导频信号的信号进行VSB调制,RF转换和放大经调制的信号,并经过所分配的信道发射经过转换的信号。 
同时,图3所示的数字广播接收机包括调谐器410、解调器420、均衡器430、格解码器440、去交织器450、RS解码器460、去随机函数发生器470和已知数据检测器480,并执行与图3所示数字广播发射机相反处理的操作。 
调谐器410选择所接收的信号并将所选择的频带信号转换成基带信号。 
解调器420从所述基带信号中检测同步信号,并根据插入基带信号中的同步信号和导频信号执行基带信号的解调。均衡器430通过补偿由于信道多径而导致解调信号的信道失真来消除所接收符号之间的相互干扰。 
格解码器440执行所述符号的误差校正,解码误差校正的符号,并输出符号数据。去交织器450重排由所述数字广播发射机的交织器330所分配的解码数据。 
RS解码器460对去交织的数据执行误差校正,去随机函数发生器470对经过RS解码器460校正的数据执行去随机化,从而,恢复所述MPEG-2传送流的数据。 
同时,已知数据检测器480根据所述解调的数据检测已知数据的位置并输出被用于解调器的同步检测和均衡器的信道失真补偿的已知数据,已知数据检测器480的详细内容将在下面解释。 
图4示出了根据本发明的MPEG-2分组数据格式。参看图4,MPEG-2分组数据的头标由是同步信号的第一字节和包括PID(分组识别符)的三个字节组成。然后,安排由规定字节组成的修改场部分,和所述修改场部分的前两个字节构成了包括所述修改场的长度信息的控制信息位。 
另外,在两个字节的控制信息位之后安排了规定数量的空字节,与所述空字节的位置相关的信息被插入所述控制信息位。由于所述空字节的开始位置是固定的,所以与所述空字节位置相关的信息表示与该空字节的长度相关的信息。在所述空字节之后,安排有将被发射的有效负荷数据。 
图5示出了插入已知数据的随机化的MPEG-2分组数据格式。参看图5,第一多路复用器315将由数据发生器305产生的已知数据插入由随机函数发生器310随机化的数据中的空字节的位置处,并输出具有图4所示格式的数据流。 
虽然为简便起见图5示出了由两个字节组成的已知数据,但所述已知数据的长度可以长于两个字节。由于该已知数据是作为发射机方和接收机方之间已知的数据在随机化之后插入的,因此,可以很容易从有效负荷数据中加 以区别地被检测,并用于接收机方的同步和均衡。 
图6示出了从图3所示RS编码器输出的数据格式。RS编码器320将规定字节的奇偶校验位加到从第一多路复用器315输出的数据上,以便校正由于信道所发生的误差。参看图6,20字节的RS奇偶校验位被加到从RS编码器320输出的187字节数据流的末端部分。 
图7示出了从图3的交织器输出的数据格式。交织器330在时间轴上分配数据,从而分配所述数据流的顺序和使传送信号相对于干扰变得很强。 
根据由交织器330执行的该数据分配,在垂直方向上不同段相同位置处安排的数据字节被重新以52字节为单位在水平方向安排成连续的数据流。 
由包括图6所示已知数据位置信息的控制信息位组成的各段的第四和第五字节被改变成在图7所示水平方向连续的数据流(即,M56~M5(B3)和M57~M6(B4))。因此,所述控制信息位是连续输出的。 
另外,在交织后,是已知数据的各段的第五和第六字节被改变成图7所示的在水平方向上连续的数据流(即,M58~M7(B5)和M59~M8(B6))。因此,插入各段中的已知数据的相同字节被以52字节为单位作为连续数据流而输出。 
图8示出了从图3的格编码器340输出的数据格式。格编码器340将从交织器330输出的每个数据字节编码成4个8级符号。 
在图8中,相同位置的已知数据字节在每52个段的一个段中作为规定长度的连续符号出现。另外,在一个场中,出现6个已知数据序列。即,在场中,包括10个空字节的10*6=60个已知数据序列出现在传送流的一个场中。因此,可以很容易从有效负荷数据流中检测出该已知数据序列。 
图9示出了图3的已知数据位置检测器480的结构。 
图3的数字广播接收机的已知数据位置检测器480包括第一关联器480-1、第二到第n关联器480-2到480-n以及比较器483。 
第一关联器480-1以及第二到第n关联器480-2到480-n计算在所接收信号的数据流与规定的参考信号之间的关联值。在第一关联器480-1和第二到第n关联器480-2到480-n中使用的参考信号表示在发射机方已知数据编码期间可能发生的所有情况的数量。 
即,发射机方的格编码器340根据存储在自己存储器中的初始值经过相同已知数据的格编码产生不同的符号。所述存储器中可能的初始值的数量是 例如4的有限数,因此,通过执行已知数据的格编码所获得的数据符号可以被有限地确定和容易地计算。 
因此,使用第一关联器480-1和第二到第n关联器480-2到480-n,可以计算表示所有可能情况数量的多个参考信号和所接收信号之间的关联值。 
比较器483比较第一关联器480-1和第二到第n关联器480-2到480-n的输出值,如果在比较期间产生峰关联值,那么,在产生该峰值的位置处检测已知数据。 
图10的流程用于解释图3的数字广播发射机的操作。 
随机函数发生器310随机化包括空字节的MPEG-2传送流(操作S510)。输入给随机函数发生器310的数据具有图4所示的数据格式,其包括由是同步信号的第一字节组成的头标部分和3字节PID、包括与所述空字节位置相关信息的2字节控制信息位以及由规定长度字节组成的空字节。所述数据的其它字节涉及将被发送的有效负荷数据。 
然后,第一多路复用器315通过将由数据发生器305产生的已知数据插入包括在由随机函数发生器310随机化的数据中的空字节的位置而产生所述数据流(操作S520)。所述已知数据是在发射机方和接收机方之间具有已知规定模式的特殊序列,并能够很容易从普通数据中加以区别地检测。 
然后,为了校正由于信道而发生的已经被插入了已知数据的数据误差,规定字节的奇偶校验位被加到由第一多路复用器320输出的数据,然后以所述规定的模式对其进行交织。交织后的数据被转换成符号、以2/3的速率经过所述格编码被映射为8级符号、然后进行误差校正编码(操作S530)。 
然后,以段为单位将所述段同步信号插入所述符号数据中,以场为单位插入场同步信号,然后将所述导频信号插入频谱中(操作S540)。 
然后,经过调制器/RF转换器360以插入导频信号的信号被脉冲整形的方式执行所述数据信号的VSB调制并利用IF载波执行幅度调制。所述VSB调制信号经过RF转换、放大然后经过所分配的信道发送(操作S550)。 
图11的流程用于解释根据本发明数字广播接收机的操作。 
调谐器410选择所接收的信号,将所选择的频带信号转换成基带信号(操作S610)。 
解调器420从所述基带信号中检测所述同步信号并根据插入基带信号中的导频信号和同步信号执行所述基带信号的解调(操作S620)。 
均衡器430通过对被解调信号的信道失真进行补偿消除在所接收数据信号之间的相互干扰(操作S630)。 
同时,已知数据检测器480从均衡的数据中检测已知数据的位置,输出已知数据(操作S640)。已知数据检测器480的第一关联器480-1和第二到第n关联器480-2到480-n计算多个参考信号和所接收信号之间的关联值。比较器483比较所述关联值、在产生峰关联值的位置处检测已知数据、和将所检测到的已知数据提供给均衡器430以补偿信道失真。另外,可以提供检测到的已知数据以用于解调器420的同步检测。 
然后,对同步和均衡的数据执行误差校正,解码经过误差校正后的符号。经过去交织以及经过RS解码进行误差校正来重排解码的数据(操作S650)。 
然后,将经过误差校正的数据去随机化,而后作为MPEF-2传送流输出(操作S660)。 
产业应用 
本发明涉及一种数字广播发射/接收系统及其信号处理方法,特别是,涉及一种能够通过将已知序列插入VSB(残留边带)数据流中并利用所插入的已知序列发射所述数据流的数字广播发射/接收系统及其信号处理方法。 

Claims (3)

1.一种数字广播发射机,其将数据发送到数字广播接收机,所述数字广播发射机包括:
第一多路复用器,用于将已知数据插入到经随机化的数据流中的空字节的位置,其中,所述空字节的位置是指经随机化的数据流中的规定位置,所述已知数据是在数字广播发射机和数字广播接收机之间已知的预定义的序列;
里德-所罗门RS编码器,用于对包括已知数据的数据进行RS编码,以向其添加规定字节的奇偶校验位;
交织器,用于交织经RS编码的数据;
格编码器,用于以2/3的速率将包括具有规定字节长度的已知数据的已交织数据格编码成8级符号;
第二多路复用器,用于以段为单位将段同步信号、以场为单位将场同步信号、以及在频谱中将导频信号插入到经格编码的数据中;以及
调制器/RF转换器,用于对格编码后的数据执行VSB调制,RF转换经过调制的数据并发送经过RF转换的数据,
其中,所述已知数据被用于数字广播接收机的同步和均衡,并且
其中,所述经格编码的数据包括这样的数据格式:在经VSB调制的经格编码的数据的数据流的一个场中出现6个已知数据序列。
2.如权利要求1所述的数字广播发射机,还包括随机化器,用于随机化所述数据,以产生所述经随机化的数据流。
3.如权利要求1所述的数字广播发射机,还包括数据发生器,用于生成所述已知数据,
其中,所述已知数据被数字广播接收机用来去除所发送数据的干扰。
