泡罩碗状物可由可成形容纳一个或多个镜片及其包装溶液的材料形成,条件是这些材料符合上述吸收标准。形成泡罩碗状物的优选材料为聚砜、聚醚酰亚胺或聚碳酸酯共聚物。优选SolvayAdvancedPolymers销售的商标名为UDEL1700(CAS号25135-51-7)和RADELR-5000(CAS号25839-81-0)的聚砜聚合物。UDEL为聚砜聚合物的商标,具有约190℃的玻璃化转变温度。RADELR-5000为Solvay销售的聚砜的商标,具有约220℃的玻璃化转变温度。BASF销售的另一种聚砜Ultrason也可用于本发明中。Ultrason的玻璃化转变温度为约188℃,由差示扫描量热仪(DSC)于20℃/min下测定。具有约180℃至约230℃的玻璃化转变温度的其他商标的聚砜聚合物适用于本发明。其他优选的材料包括但不限于GeneralElectric销售的商标名Ultem(CAS号61128-24-3)的聚醚酰亚胺。Ultem具有约229℃的玻璃化转变温度(根据ASTM1525获得的VICAT温度219℃计算)。尤其优选GeneralElectric销售的商标名为LEXANHPB3144、具有约147℃的玻璃化转变温度的聚碳酸酯共聚物。对于本发明的目的,如果特定聚合物的玻璃化转变温度未知,但是VICAT数据可得到,则玻璃化转变温度可通过VICAT温度(ASTMD1525,ISO306,A2LA认证)加上约10℃计算得到。
这类泡罩可通过向注塑机引入聚合物颗粒而制备。在颗粒中往复式螺杆输入热量和剪切力,并使它们熔融。然后使用冷流道或热流道将熔融物注射在模具中(在备选方法中使用活塞,在还另一种方法中可将部分打开的模具充满并通过关闭模具铸成其最终形状)。塑料会填满设计和形状适用于得到本发明公开的部分的腔。然后将聚合物压力下固化以补偿收缩部分。在该部分固化之后将其进一步冷却直至达到可操作温度。然后经机械或气动装置从模具取出该部分并转移至机器下游。
可使用的注射模型成形机的实例包括但不限于Arburg、Battenfeld、Engel、Husky、Netstal、Sumitomo。
术语“溶液”指医疗装置贮藏在其中的任何液体介质。优选的溶液包括但不限于生理盐水溶液、其他缓冲溶液和去离子水。优选的含水溶液为含盐的生理盐水溶液,该盐包括但不限于氯化钠、硼酸钠、磷酸钠、磷酸氢钠、磷酸二氢钠或上述盐的对应钾盐。通常将这些成分组合形成包括酸及其共轭碱的缓冲溶液,以便酸和碱的加入仅引起pH相对小的变化。此外,缓冲溶液可包括2-(N-吗啉代)乙磺酸(MES)、氢氧化钠、2,2-双(羟甲基)-2,2′,2″-次氮基三乙醇、n-三(羟甲基)甲基-2-氨基乙磺酸、柠檬酸、柠檬酸钠、碳酸钠、碳酸氢钠、醋酸、醋酸钠、乙二胺四乙酸等及其组合。优选,溶液为硼酸盐缓冲或磷酸盐缓冲的生理盐水溶液。
此外,本发明包括贮藏含药物的眼用镜片的方法,其中该方法包括将所述眼用镜片放置在泡罩碗状物中并用盖子覆盖所述泡罩碗状物,其中所述泡罩碗状物包含吸收所述药物少于约16%的材料,条件是泡罩碗状物的材料基本上不是全氟聚合物。本文中使用的术语药物、眼用镜片和泡罩碗状物都有它们前面提及的含义和优选范围。术语“盖子”指将眼用镜片封闭在泡罩碗状物中的任何手段。优选,盖子为由铝箔的粘合层压材料和挤出或共挤出的聚合物膜制成的柔韧性片,可被密封至泡罩碗状物的顶部表面,以便形成眼用镜片的密封。下面的专利公布公开了这些材料的实例:美国专利公布第2002/0197478号、美国专利第6,090,471、5,908,527、5,656,362、5,653,844和5,620,087号,这些专利通过引用整体结合到本文中。如本文中使用,这些层压材料的内层指通过热封或其他方式粘附在碗状物的层。如果泡罩碗状物由聚砜材料制成,则碗状物可用几层层压材料覆盖,这些层压材料具有被热封至碗状物的聚砜内层。一种这样的分层的层压材料盖的实例包含以下材料,从被密封至碗状物的材料到被密封至最外层的材料按顺序列出:聚砜(即UDEL、RADEL)粘合剂(即Henkel销售的Liofol商标)铝箔粘合剂和聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯或聚苯基砜。分层的层压材料的另一个实例包含以下材料,按顺序列出从被密封至碗状物的材料到被密封至最外层的材料:聚碳酸酯共聚物(即LEXAN)粘合剂(即Henkel销售的Liofol商标)铝箔粘合剂和聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯或聚苯基砜。
含药物的眼用镜片常常包装在含水溶液如生理盐水或其他缓冲溶液中。这些溶液一般称为包装溶液。吸收少于约16%的药物并可用于形成本发明泡罩碗状物的某些材料,是允许水蒸汽从泡罩碗状物和盖子随时间向外扩散的材料。已知该水蒸汽的损失降低了这些眼用镜片的货架期。为了改善这些物质的货架期,如果将泡罩碗状物的表面部分用抑制水蒸汽扩散的材料包围,则会有用。以下发明符合这种需要。
本发明包括用于包装含药物的眼用镜片的泡罩碗状物,其中所述泡罩碗状物含有镜片接触表面和外表面,其中所述镜片接触表面含有吸收所述药物少于约16%的材料,外表面含有蒸气阻挡材料,条件是镜片接触表面的材料基本上不是全氟聚合物。本文中使用的眼用镜片、药物、泡罩碗状物和吸收所述药物少于约16%的材料都具有其前述的含义和优选范围。
术语“镜片接触表面”指与眼用镜片或与眼用镜片及其包装溶液接触的泡罩碗状物部分。术语“外表面”指除了镜片接触表面之外的碗状物部分。术语“蒸气阻挡材料”指抑制包装溶液通过泡罩碗状物扩散的材料。优选的蒸气阻挡材料包括但不限于聚丙烯和含有两种不同脂环单体的脂环共聚物,由ZeonChemicalsL.P.以商标名ZEONOR销售。有几种具有70-163℃的玻璃化转变温度的不同等级的ZEONOR。尤其优选的ZEONOR为ZEONOR1600或1420R,依照制备商ZEONChemicalsL.P.,1420R和1600分别具有20g/10min和7g/10min的熔体流动速率(″MFR″)范围(按照JISK6719于280℃下测定)),由ASTMD792测定两者的比重(H2O=1)为1.01,1420R和1600的玻璃化转变温度分别为136℃和163℃。通过以下附图进一步详细地阐述本发明。
图1显示本发明泡罩碗状物10的透视图。将镜片接触表面12成形以容纳有或无包装溶液的眼用镜片。镜片接触表面12由吸收所述药物少于约16%的材料制成。环形密封环16为用铝箔密封的凸起表面,当泡罩碗状物10关闭时装入镜片。优选的镜片接触表面材料为上述聚砜和聚碳酸酯共聚物。外表面14为蒸气阻挡材料。优选的蒸气阻挡材料为热塑性塑料,该材料可热封并且具有足够延长货架期的蒸气阻挡作用。尤其优选的蒸气阻挡材料为聚丙烯和含两种不同脂环单体的脂环共聚物。图2显示镜片接触表面12及其围缘(surroundingflange)18的截面图。图3显示外表面14的透视图。图4显示具有内部通道20的外表面14的透视截面图。图5显示镜片接触表面12插入内部通道20中的外表面14。在图示实施方案中,围缘18是由与镜片接触表面12相同的材料制成,围缘18被内部通道20覆盖并与之连锁在一起。图6显示本发明的另一个实施方案。在该实施方案中,用于密封泡罩碗状物中镜片的环形圈(annularring)26位于围缘28上。图7显示镜片接触表面22、其围缘28和环形圈26。图8显示具有内部通道30的外表面24的透视截面图。如图9所示,镜片接触表面22的围缘28插入至外表面24中。图10显示另一个实施方案。镜片接触表面32搭接(snapped)在基本平坦的边缘34上,34覆盖镜片接触表面32的相对表面(未显示)。在该围绕的实施方案中。在该实施方案中,优选,镜片接触表面32由不同于平坦的边缘34的材料制成。
前述泡罩包装可由各种2塑料加工注塑机(包胶注塑(over-molding)、夹芯注塑或夹物模压)制成,包括但不限于ArburgGmbh、Ferromatik、Elektra、Engel等制备的那些机器。另外,一些组分注塑机可用于制备多层的蒸气阻挡材料。
为了举例说明本发明,包括以下实施例。该实施例不限制本发明。它们仅用于提出实践本发明的方法。接触镜片方面的技术人员和其他技术人员可发现实践本发明的其他方法。然而,认为那些方法是在本发明范围中。
实施例
下面使用以下缩写
包装溶液A含以下成分(按重量计)的去离子水:NaCl(0.83%)、硼
酸(0.91%)、四硼酸钠十水合物(0.1%)和0.2%聚丙烯酸
钠盐
实施例1
用不同材料制备包装
通过几个试验测试包装溶液A中富马酸酮替芬的不同溶液,产生的数据见表1(表1中列出了泡罩材料和酮替芬的量。注意:溶液制备中使用的是酮替芬的富马酸盐,但数据报道的是溶液中存在的酮替芬的量)。将泡罩碗状物材料(表1中列出克数)切割成小块并置于具有2.85mL富马酸酮替芬溶液的玻璃小瓶中。用Teflon涂覆的丁基橡胶塞子将小瓶密闭,并于124℃加热18分钟。萃取溶液并用HPLC测试以确定酮替芬的浓度(%,与没有加入泡罩材料的对照组小瓶比较,该泡罩材料用供试样品杀菌)。

Claims (19)

1.一种用于包装含药物的眼用镜片的泡罩碗状物,所述泡罩碗状物包含吸收所述药物少于16%的材料,条件是所述材料基本上不是全氟聚合物,其中所述材料是聚醚酰亚胺,所述药物为酮替芬。
2.权利要求1的泡罩碗状物,其中所述材料吸收8%至3%的所述药物。
3.权利要求1的泡罩碗状物,其中所述材料吸收5%至1%的药物。
4.权利要求1的泡罩碗状物,其中所述材料选自具有大于220℃的玻璃化转变温度的聚醚酰亚胺。
5.权利要求1的泡罩碗状物,其中所述眼用镜片为etafilconA镜片。
6.一种贮藏含药物的眼用镜片的方法,所述方法包括将所述眼用镜片放置在泡罩碗状物中,并用盖子覆盖所述泡罩碗状物,其中所述泡罩碗状物含有吸收所述药物少于16%的材料,条件是所述泡罩碗状物的材料基本上不是全氟聚合物,其中所述材料是聚醚酰亚胺,所述药物为酮替芬。
7.权利要求6的方法,其中所述盖子包含含有内层的粘合层压材料。
8.权利要求7的方法,其中所述内层包含具有大于180℃的玻璃化转变温度的聚砜。
9.权利要求7的方法,其中所述内层包含具有大于140℃的玻璃化转变温度的聚碳酸酯共聚物。
10.权利要求6的方法,其中所述泡罩碗状物含有吸收少于10%所述药物的材料。
11.权利要求6的方法,其中所述泡罩碗状物含有吸收所述药物少于8%至3%的材料。
12.权利要求6的方法,其中所述泡罩碗状物含有吸收所述药物少于3%至1%的材料。
13.一种用于包装含药物的眼用镜片的泡罩碗状物,所述泡罩碗状物含有镜片接触表面和外表面,其中所述镜片接触表面含有吸收所述药物少于16%的材料,且外表面含有蒸气阻挡材料,条件是镜片接触表面的材料基本上不是全氟聚合物,其中所述镜片接触表面的材料是聚醚酰亚胺,所述药物为酮替芬。
14.权利要求13的泡罩碗状物,其中所述镜片接触表面含有吸收8%至3%所述药物的材料。
15.权利要求13的泡罩碗状物,其中所述镜片接触表面含有吸收5%至1%药物的材料。
16.权利要求13的泡罩碗状物,其中所述蒸气阻挡材料含有聚丙烯。
17.权利要求13的泡罩碗状物,其中所述蒸气阻挡材料包含含有两种不同脂环单体的脂环共聚物。
18.权利要求13的泡罩碗状物,其中所述外表面含有至少两个蒸气阻挡材料层。
19.权利要求18的泡罩碗状物,其中所述蒸气阻挡材料之一为聚丙烯。
